I misplaced my car key 5 days ago, but figured it would turn up. Despite extensive searching and time it has not reappeared. Therefore , I contacted Big Red Locksmiths late this morning. I was told that someone would be available this afternoon and they would call before arriving. Jeff called and arrived within 20 minutes of his call as anticipated. He was professional, friendly and efficient. I had my new key within a few minutes. It works perfectly and the cost was very reasonable. Wow, when i called they didn’t even hesitate to gather information and get to are location as soon as possible. It 23 degrees outside the car, but they were done in less than 10-15 minutes. That included opening the car and making us a copy of the key. This key was 60 dollars which would have cost of 200.00 at the dealership. Wonderful!

My family has turned to Big Red Locksmith for various reasons: locking our keys in the car, having a duplicate key made for a vehicle, seeking out a key fob and programming the key fob to a vehicle. The gentlemen that helped my family in each case were professional and most importantly kind. I drove out to their site for one of the services and had my children with me. I had locked my keys in my car at the hotel. Friend told me to wait until morning so I would be calmer. Not from the area, I tried a few places that claimed to be 24/7 but did not answer. I had the lock break on my Pella sliding door & it left my door in a closed locked state. It is the only way to the backyard for my dogs so it was critical that we get it fixed, or at least opened, as quickly as possible before any " doggy accidents" occurred. 😉 I called Big Red shortly after 8am. By 9:15am the door was opened, lock fixed, and I had 2 keys for the door. Fantastic customer service by Jamison. Highly recommend.

In December of 2020, I lost the fob for my 2016 Dodge Ram. Had it towed back to my apartment and Big Red Locksmith came out fairly quickly, despite the snow falling and accumulating. I thought the price was high, but was comparable to other businesses. The point of my review is, that part of the fob broke off (a piece of rubber) and exposed the circuit board, and I could no longer use this fob. I did have them make 2, so had a back up. I finally found the time to take the fob back in, and even though it has been nearly 7 months, they fixed it with no problem and did not charge me. Thanks guys... I appreciate the great customer service.

Big Red Locksmiths came highly recommended when I needed a duplicate transponder key for my Ford truck. The personnel at Big Red were friendly, extremely knowledgeable and efficient! I expected to wait some time for my key to be programmed, but I had barely become settled in the waiting area when my key was ready and waiting. The key has worked great with no problems! The key is sturdy and obviously high quality... unlike other places... and the price was very reasonable. It was a pleasure doing business with Big Red Locksmiths! In the process of trying to get my junker work car unstuck from the snow and ice in front of my house, I locked my keys in the car with the car running. Called Big Red and they quoted me a great price and said they would be out in 15 minutes. As it turned out, this was very fortunate because 10 minutes later, Jamison arrived. Can't say enough good things about Jamison. It took him about 15 seconds to unlock my door but he stayed a lot longer and helped my wife and I get my car out from under a sheet of ice. We couldn't have done it without him. Such a nice guy. He went well above and beyond the service call and really helped us out of a tight spot. Customer service like this is rare these days but these guys are top notch. I called them once before about a lock and they provided excellent service at that time also. Brought my daughter's 2010 Honda Accord in for a second key to be cut and programmed. Even though I didn't have an appointment, the staff at the counter were more than helpful and pleasant to work with. Being that I brought it in on a Friday with no scheduled appointment, I was hopeful it could be done same day, but fully expected it to have to be there for the weekend. We just moved into our house and wanted to get the locks changed. Came the same day as we called, on a Sunday no less. Customer service was awesome, not only did he suggest to re-key not just replace, he stopped the bluetooth deadbolt from automatically locking and also replaced the battery in the garage keypad, help reprogram the garage remote and also helped reprogram the pin # for garage keypad. Would recommend big red locksmith to anyone needing new locks!

They had an assortment of keys to include older keys that require fitting a post to try and unlock an old desk that we lost the key to. If you need a chipped key made, skip the dealer and use these guys! From the guy who answered the phone to the tech, Drake, they were incredible! At the airport, 2.5 hours from home, no keys. Of course it's chipped so going to be a pain. I must have called 10 other places. All said no key, have to tow it, or wouldn't do a thing until I could provide the registration..which was locked in my car. They helped me right away.. no BS. Big Red cost a 1/3 of anywhere else and Drake was beyond professional. It was less than 1 hour from the time I called to the time I was driving away. Couldn't recommend these guys more!

Had a key fob quit working and a couple others laying around from vehicles I'd salvage! Big Red couldn't get the original to work, but did get the other 2 to program and put in new cases! Cost was 75% or more less than the dealer and here's the kicker! I was unaware that I had a remote start feature, which he showed me! Big bonus and well worth my trip! Can honestly say, there's no other Locksmith I'll need to use!!!

I have used Big Red Locksmith for both business and personal. They are always very professional and we never have any issues with the quality of their work. It is nice to know when you need keys made they will work the first time!! They have also fixed the locks on our restaurant the same day we called - we would never call anyone else! 11/15 - since the original post, I have used Big Red a couple more times. The last time, they were here w/ in 10 minutes and had the door unlocked in less than 10 minutes. If you ever have any issues with your ignition I recommend calling these guys first. Superior Honda wanted over $600 to fix the tumbler in my ignition by just replacing the entire ignition switch. Big Red Locksmith was able to repair the tumbler and my key in less than a couple hours. They are trustworthy, priced fairly and I will use them for all my future locksmith needs. They saved the day and I am so appreciative!

We made our first visit to Big Red Locksmiths in Bellevue today. My car remote has not worked for a couple years. These folks made the diagnosis and the replacement and programming so easy. The service was the very best. When they say they can usually replace car remotes cheaper than the car dealerships.......they really mean it. It cost us les than half. We went to Big Red Locksmiths to have a key fob for our 2015 Mazda6 programmed after the dealership told us we had "bought the wrong key." Programming the key was a challenge as the programming had changed for this key and directions were not readily available. The staff at Big Red Locksmith didn't let this stop them though- they worked on the key fob until they got it programmed! Thank you for taking the time and having the patience to ensure that we were able to have a working key for our vehicle!

Nobody likes to pay someone to unlock their car. But if the situation arises, don't hesitate to call Big Red Locksmiths. Jamison was nothing but professional, he answered the phone promptly and politely explained what he was finishing up before he could make it to me. Keep in mind this was a friday night in the snow. Called Monday morning at 8:15 because the deadbolt on the front door of my business had broken. They were there and had it fixed before 9 am and made some extra keys for me. Amazing! My family was in town for their high school basketball tournament and the key ended up just simply not working. Of course, it was late Saturday night and pretty cold out. Outstanding service and work! I brought in two keys - one key was for a circular lock like you find on storage units, and the other key was for a gas cap lock. Even though the keys were old, Big Red Locksmiths were able find and cut duplicate keys, and they both worked perfectly in their respective locks.

This place also does business as Affordable Solutions, Inc. We worked directly with the owner, Tony. They are in the middle of opening their new site in Ralston but the phone number is the same. Highly efficient and knowledgeable. They can reprogram remote car keys of almost any type and they keep trying until it works. Tony explained everything he was doing as well as warning us about cheap internet market parts that may fail at anytime. The training and knowledge in this guy's brain is amazing. He tried 3 different machines until the job was done. Extremely affordable and will travel to Plattsmouth and surrounding areas. Big Red/Affordable Soluntions is our go-to business.

Here's the deal (big deal because it's my first review). If you live in Omaha or anywhere close get your stuff done here. I needed my keyless fob programmed to my vehicle.
