The batteries in the bolt lock at the apartment I was leasing died during the coldest time in Louisville (December 23rd) which mean I wasn't able to get into my apartment. I notified the company that I leased the apartment from and they called Mr. Charlie to see if he can get me into the apartment. He came in negative degree weather and drilled the lock off. Amazing! I was happy that he got me into my apartment and I stayed with him until he finished the job. Nice man! If I ever come back to Louisville for work and get locked out of my apartment, he'll be the first one to call. Oh yeah he also do car keys as well.

Charlie called ahead of the scheduled time to let me know that he was available sooner than my expected appointment which was acceptable for me. He arrived on time and went straight to work. He was professional and took care of the job in a reasonable amount of time. Once the job was finished he asked me to review the work to see if I was satisfied. I noticed that the interior knob was loose. Charlie said that it was missing a piece called "the rose". He said that he could order it and make another appointment to have it installed. After completing the lock and leaving Charlie called about 15 minutes later to ask if he could come back and try something to maybe fix the sticking door. I was fully prepared to pay Charlie for his time- he would not accept additional money than what I paid for the original job. As a business owner myself this type of conscientious workmanship is really important and I try to deliver that to my clients as well.
