I was visiting the city from Georgia and my key fob died on me. Took my auto to Bowles Locksmith and ran into the most gracious husband wife team of the business. Among their professionalism the shop was clean with comfortable seating. As I waited, they tuned in humor and great conversation to their services; while they diligently worked on my issue. I was able to have great conversation with another customer. The price was very very affordable, I felt like I stole the key and was sad to leave when work completed. I highly recommend you visit Lonnie and Marissa if ever in the neighborhood. I promise you will not regret it. I am very very thankful!

Lol it does weird stuff with the key fob, this guy went above and was gonna give me the extra fab so I don’t get locked out unfortunately the door had been changed on the car and it wouldn’t work. My only issue with the whole experience was with the phone call to set up the appointment. I wish I had known some of my locks could not be keyed alike before he came. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We showed up with blank key fobs and a broken toyota fob that was being held together with medical tape. Lonnie and Marissa never missed a step. They assembled fobs and cut two new keys using parts from our old keys, and programmed another then cut the blade for it as well. Lonnie personally tested each key to insure it worked properly. All this and never a grumble that we had walked in right before closing time. These are good people who are honest with their price. Definitely recommended

My car had been stolen, but thankfully recovered. Upon arriving at my car at louisville metro impound, we realized there were no keys. We only had a few hours to move the car and Bowles was the only company that said they could make it that day. It was only an hour before they pulled in! Both of them were so kind and got to work immediately. They had a new key made for my car within 30mins. He ensured me that my old key wouldn’t start my car, which was something I had a lot of anxiety about so I really appreciated the reassurance. He even had a spare key made for me to lock my doors if I want to start my car and leave it, and also programmed me a key fob-something I didn’t have before. I locked my keys in my car at the conference center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. I called Bowles Locksmith Service and went back into my meeting. They said they would be to my car around 1:00 pm, I received the call just before 1:00 pm and went outside to meet them.. It took him a total of 5 minutes to do the job. I paid via credit card at the scene. It was a great experience.

The lock on a cherished, oak curio cabinet had become stuck and several years ago I broke the skeleton key inside of it. It was so long ago, I could not remember exactly what happened, I just knew I could not open it and I needed to remove the collectible crystal inside so I could move to a new home. Mr Bowles was at my house the next morning by 830am. He tried several things to fix my lock, but ultimately he removed the hinges and door to gain access to the lock. He helped me reassemble the door and even found a lock online, just like the one that was broken. He was kind, patient and professional. Highly recommend.
