A short while ago a safe I had purchased in the mid-80's would not open. Now I am stressed! Mark Y. from Salz came out on a trouble call and opened the safe working his magic fingers. He thoroughly explained all the options and cost; completed the repair in grand style and time; and the price was fair; and I had actually expected to pay more for the overall repair than I did. Thank you, Mark! I am so appreciative!!

I called them for information. They answered the phone in about 2 rings. They made a key for my Toyota and took about 5 minutes. Much less expensive than the dealer. Very polite making sure I knew what my options were. Very very friendly. I was made to feel like I was a valued customer. This was my first experience with them. Would certainly go back to them if needed.

Salz is sick for key copies. Lots of cool design choices for house keys, and needed my moped key copied. Was in and out in under 5 minutes and only cost me $10 for a new moped key! Definitely would recommend

I'm a professional property manager. I have been burned in the past by having keys cut at the big box stores and local hardware stores. There is nothing more frustrating than to find that the duplicate key you just spent an hour having made was not cut correctly and doesn't work. In all my years of getting keys cut at Salz I have never had one key not work. I will drive out of my way to go to Salz for this reason. They are also very fast and professional. Highly recommend.

Hands down....I wanna say they are absolutely the fkn best customer service and I stopped by at closing time which was 430ish and they welcomed me like I was family style. Made me feel confident with whatever I needed was certainly was taken care of. Genuine experience for my 1st time there. Oh I just came in to get a blank honda key. Super quick and efficient. Was helped out immediately. I already had the key blank which made things quicker. Able to cut transponder keys so you don't wreck your everyday driver key in the ocean. $52 to cut transponder if you have it in hand.

After going to the big box stores to try to rekey my new home, I learned that the door locks are atypical, thus I needed to work with a locksmith. I called a few mobile locksmiths who said they would need to order the key blanks which would take a while or replace the lock at a higher price than a simple rekey. One mobile-only locksmith was kind enough to refer me to a storefront locksmith, Salz. I called to explain the situation and one of their technicians, Ellen, completely nailed it. She was very nice, knowledgeable, responsive and accountable for solving my issue. She explained exactly what the situation was that I had with my locks and assured me she’d get it fixed asap. I saved a good deal of money and time bringing my locks to Salz to get rekeyed. The mobile locksmiths are great for emergencies and “typical” situations, but if you have an unusual lock or if you need to get a storefront resource, you better call Salz.

Staff at Salz Lock & Safe have great communication skills and great customer service, and of course the keys I had made work fine. My mom recommended Salz to me. (The reason for my edit is to finally type some comments to go along with the 5 star rating I gave them a month or two ago.)

They were able to duplicate a (broken) golf cart key for me, whereas almost all the other places I called said they didn't have the blanks for golf cart keys. The workers were highly skilled and very friendly. I was well taken care of. If I ever need key services again I'll be coming right back to this place. 5 stars!!

It was a different person than the one who had helped me originally. No questions! They just recur it, and apologized for the inconvenience, which was not needed. Wonderful people! Service at Salz Lock & Safe was quick. There were 3 customers before me, but were done in a few minutes. My keys were made quickly and I was out of there in maybe 10 - 15 minutes with keys in hand. And the keys worked perfectly! The usual places for making keys like Home Depot, Lowes, City Mill and Ace Hardware did not have matching key blanks. Thank you Salz Lock & Safe!

If you ever tried to get a key cut from City Mill, Lowes and Home Improvement and they said they could not cut the key go to Salz because they cut keys the old fashioned way. This is because their fancy key cutter does not have the template. They recalibrate their key cutting machine every few days which is unheard of. Need an extra key cut for your steering wheel lock they can do it.

These guys (and ladies) really know there stuff. Recently, saved a ton of money by going there to replace the battery in my car remote. Plus, they have key blanks that the regular hardware stores don't carry. I learned this about 6 months ago when they were the only place that I could find that could copy one of my keys.

Ellen helped me with purchasing a new mortise lock. Knowing nothing about what specs are needed for a replacement cylinder, Ellen educated me on the things I needed to look at and measure. Ellen usually the one to see on moped keys but anyone there will do it...NOTE they do require that you bring the moped before wasting their time & blank cutting a spare, never had any bad ones from them...yay

I can't make a key with a remote for a car. I can't make a special key for my car. The price is almost the same as making with DEALER. For custom car keys, Affordable Locksmith & Son is kinder and quicker. The customer service at this store is quite friendly. If you want to make a house and a normal car key, I think this is enough.
