Pop-a-lock is a household name on island! This service has saved me over the years in a handful of situations, getting locked out of my car, actually losing my only key, flat tires, and jumps! Most recently Joe helped me out as I realized my tire had gone flat as I was driving on the highway (!!!) and had to pull over in the middle of nowhere. Joe found me and got me going again he is a pro! Thanks for your help! It’s peace of mine to know I can call pop-a-lock whenever I need them. Serious Mahaloz for helping this sistah in a time of need!!! 🙏🏽🚙

You would never know it by name but Pop-A-Lock gave me roadside assistance for a flat tire. I had the good fortunate to have Joe get the call. Joe got my tire switched out for me and then we moved to more secured location to add a bit of air and do the paperwork. He got to me within 30 minutes of him being notified of call and gave me a call to let me know he was on his way. Joe took an unpleasant late night emergency…and got me home safe. I will be calling USAA to make sure this business is given proper credit for fast and professional work.

He was really friendly and fast, he got my car started in about a minute using a portable battery and gave recommendations for where I could get my battery replaced. Paul made it in half an hour when the ETA given by our insurance was an hour, which was awesome. Paul was very courteous, professional, and quick. He also let us know that sometimes cars will lock with keys in the car when the key fob needs a new battery. We appreciate this extra bit of information that he gave us. Great company and service!

Good service and on time. Paul Ty was called by my insurance (Geico) to help me jump start my car. He used the portable battery charger to start my car but it doesn’t give enough power, So he tried jumping it with his car battery. This time it almost got my engine to start. I told him I need to go to Home Depot ASAP. So he put the battery charger with the jumper cable and told me to start the car. It worked, my car started and I was able to get the materials I need at Home Depot to finish my project. Thanks Paul for your extra effort, appreciate it.

Paul called and stayed in communication until he was able to find my vehicle - late evening mind you. My Jeep’s battery did not have enough power to start. After discussing the symptoms, Paul used his portable battery charger and had me start the Jeep. He recommended to be careful with charging my phone which was plugged in prior to the battery issue. His prompt service allowed me to drive to the nearest Autozone to purchase and install a new battery- before closing. Thank you pop-a-lock and Paul.

My car wouldn’t start so I called my insurance company for roadside assistance. They set me up with this company but I asked them not to because I had an extremely bad experience 2 years ago. They set me up with another company and they gave a 75 minute window! Joe from Popalock called me after a few minutes and asked if I had cancelled and I explained the confusion but he assured me that he was very knowledgeable and was only a few minutes away so I asked him to come. He was very friendly and professional. He jump started my car but also checked the charge to make sure it was just the battery, which thankfully it was. He suggested a new program that my insurance company has that pays for battery installation. He offered to check into it and take care of it. He went to buy the battery then meet me at my next stop, which was at a shopping place parking lot where he changed the battery while I finished my shopping. By the time I came out he was done! Good guy ... Good service! BTW.. he totally redeemed his company from my previous experience! Thanks so much Joe!

I was locked out of my truck the other day and used my insurance road side service. They called pop a lock of Honolulu to assist me. Paul was my service specialist. He was very professional and attentive. He called me just before he arrived to let me know how close he was. When he arrived he introduced himself and asked me what happened. He did an assessment of the situation then told me what he was going to do. He used this pump device that safely pried open my door then he unlocked it. Friday night after work, my car wouldn't start. I requested roadside service for a jump start. PAUL came quickly in the time frame. He assessed that the battery had power but it sounded like the starter had stopped working, so I would need a tow to a repair shop. Paul was correct. My vehicle got a flat tire on the way to Pali Lanes. Using my vehicle's road side assistance, they contacted PopALock to come and change my tire. I called at 6:30 pm and Paul arrived before 7pm. He was very accommodating to allow me to go back into the bowling alley (I was in the middle of league bowling) while he changed the tire and returned my key to me in about a half hour later. The other day my wife’s car wouldn’t start. I called road side service through my insurance and they connected me with Pop-a-lock. Within minutes their operator called to tell me their technician, Paul, would be over shortly. Sure enough, Paul called me to say he was on the way and confirm his ETA in about 20 minutes. He said he’d call back when he was closer and did from ten minutes out. I was a little worried because the car was a plug in hybrid and when I called the dealer and checked the manual, they both explained the process is a little different than for a regular internal combustion car. No need to worry. Paul took no more than two minutes to jump the car and we were good to go. Thank you to Paul and Pop-a-lock! I’m 100% satisfied and delighted my insurer connected us. I would definitely use Pop-a-lock for future needs now that I see they also provide residential locksmith services.

A tire blew so we contacted Geico for roadside assistance. They referred Pop-A-Lock. The person I spoke with over the phone was very pleasant and polite. Paul was dispatched to assist us. We were told it would be 45 min.-1 hour before he could get to us but that wasn't the case. Seems like he was there in 20 min! First of all, thank you Paul! Tonight we had a flash flood warning, it was pouring, we were going home from dinner and my tire popped around 7:40. First time it ever happened, I contacted road side service and Paul was assigned. Geico quoted ETA was approx 60 mins. Paul called when he was 7 mins out at 8:10 so he was actually 20 mins early. Needed a locksmith around 11:00pm-11:30pm called them and a they answered right away! What was suppose to be a hour wait was a more like a 15-20 min wait which was amazing! Actually this is my third experience of using the service of pop-a-lock of HONOLULU. I really admire the consistency of their punctuality and the value of their service. When I called my auto insurance carrier to send someone to open my car for my keys that locked inside they inform me that a pop-a-lock technician is coming in 60 minutes. Paul was assigned to open my car windshield. Not even 30 minutes Paul arrived and open my windshield with his instrument in less than 60 seconds, so amazing. I did not have to wait for long. Highly recommended. I called my roadside assistance and they called VIP Towing first. After 4hrs of wait (initial 1hr:30min quote, 45 Min delay, another 1:45min delay due to bad trucks), I called roadside assistance again and they scheduled pop-a-lock which quoted much shorter wait time. 45min. At about 35min, Paul called me to let me know he was 5-6 min out. He arrived before the 45min and took about 10 seconds to help me jump start the car. I had a flat tire on my Sienna from what looked like a rock. I needed it to be swapped out with the spare so I could take it to Servco to get it repaired. I called the road side assistance number on the service sticker on my windshield who let me know they are sending someone from Pop-A-Lock. Paul called to let me know he was on his way, and called when he arrived. He took off the flat and replaced it with the spare, and even put the flat tire in my other car's trunk for me. He also mentioned not to go over 50 mph with the spare tire on, which is great because this was the first time using a spare tire. Quick and easy service, I would recommend Pop-A-Lock.

My daughter recently locked the keys to the family car inside, while visiting a friend. I’ve used pop a lock in the past and they have always been a life saver. This time was no exception. It’s the holiday seasons and this company is a part of the holiday spirits too!~ On Christmas Day, my car stalled on the road. What a way to have your Christmas Day go right? XD thankfully I have GEICO insurance and I called them and found out that I have free gas delivery up to $5.00. My gas gauge is broken and it doesn’t show exactly how much gas I have, it’s like playing Russia Roulette at times~ XP well, GEICO works with this company, Pop-A-Lock, and told me that they will deliver my gas to me in about an hour. He worked hard to get the last 2 nuts off and even had spare lug nuts in his tool box that he put on my car instead of putting on the bad ones I had. Joe came out on the Fourth of July to get our car started after a long day of leaving the lights on while at the beach. We tried jumping our car with the life guards and some other good Samaritans with jumper cables, but didn’t have any luck. Joe came out and got us started in literally less than 30 seconds!
