OMG. I locked myself out of my car, with everything locked inside. (My phone, apartment keys, etc) I had to borrow a neighbors cell phone. I called and Matt answered FAST. He came within 10 minutes on a Sunday. I am extremely pleased. Highly recommend!

My garage was broken into last night, so I went online for a list of locksmiths in Fargo. ABC Lock & Key was rated the highest so I called at 9:15 this morning after I had contacted law enforcement. Matt was with another customer but said that he'd call me back in 10-15 minutes -- he called back within 5 minutes. I told him my situation and he said that he'd be over around 10:15 to 10:30. He arrived at 9:45, assessed the situation, installed a deadbolt on my garage service door and was done with the project BEFORE the time that he stated he would get to my house. He also didn't try to over-sell me on what I needed. FAST, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY and EFFICIENT!!! I will definitely call Matt again when I need locksmith services! (P.S. He beat the police to my house.) Thanks, Matt!!

Couple weeks ago I left my keys in my car which was in the garage at my apartment complex, when I walked out of my garage I hit the button to close it and quickly realized my keys and garage door fob were not in my pocket. I called ABC Lock and Key and within 10 minutes, Matt was at my apartment building and 10 minutes after that he was able to crack the lock on my garage door giving me access to my keys. Considering I had access to my garage and keys just 20 minutes after I had that heart dropping feeling, I’d say the $75 was 100% worth it!

I had a problem with my front door lock. I called Matt in the morning and he was at my house by noon. Other lock companies would not come to my house and when I took my lock to them, they twice tried to fix it but could not. ABC came over and had it working right away. They charged me about the same price as the one I had to take it too. Save yourself some time and call ABC first.

I needed a new door lock for the bathroom. I have a very old house in the historic Hawthorne neighborhood. Matt came by to check it out and then found the right lock for me on ebay and had it installed in a heartbeat. It's gorgeous and magic, and now my ancient door not just locks but also closes smoothly and all the way. Definitely recommend him! He is fast, professional, and cares about his work! Plus he is a pleasure to work with!

My wife and I purchased an older home. We have sort of a double foyer at the front door and did not have keys so that we could properly lock the external set of doors. Matt showed up right away, polite and extremely professional. I expected to be buying new locks for that door and Matt could have easily sold me a new set. Instead, ten minutes later Matt had re-keyed the problematic locks and made us a new set of keys. It was a fraction of what I expected to pay. Honest, quick and polite. I would use ABC again.

Matt could not be more professional or competent. My business requires me to work constantly with many different types of contractors, and ABC Lock & Key is as good as they come. Matt is punctual, fast, skilled and reasonably priced. I've had him do several different jobs for me, including setting up complicated systems involving master and submaster keys. Not only does he do an excellent job, but he has proposed very useful ideas on several occasions that I had not thought of. If you need a locksmith, you should definitely call ABC before anybody else.

I mean WOW!!! I locked my keys in my car and was distraught because it was getting late. I called at 9:30 on a Wednesday night and he was literally there in 10 minutes! I mean I felt like it was frickin Jimmy John's. I walked inside to grab my credit card as he was going to work and when I walked out he already had my door open! Super friendly guy, GREAT customer service! I will pass his info along and recommend him to anybody who inquires. Reasonably priced and offers many locksmith services beyond what i required. I FIRMLY recommend this guy! Also, he's local.

Best customer service ever. They have helped me when I have been locked out of my car and are as fast as it gets. He also offered to fix my door handle when he noticed it was broken when I was locked out. Honest and super friendly, and won't overcharge you. Paid a lot less than I was expecting for the door handle and he also had a new door key made.

After calling several other locksmiths in the area and having issues with them not dealing with cars that old, or them asking me to go to the dealership for some numbers, or having the wait be too long before someone was available to help, I ended up finding ABC Lock and Key. I called and a friendly sounding Gentleman (Matt Knopp) answered the phone, what made him stand apart from the other locksmiths is that he answered the phone, and said he'd be right on his way. The other locksmiths always had the people on the phone lines and then the people in the field, so I was happy about this right away, I always love supporting smaller businesses whenever possible. He drove out and arrived as quickly as possible and got right to work. He was knowledgeable and informative, and it was fun to watch him work. He is a swell guy that does his job well and efficiently, and his prices are on par if not better than the other locksmiths I talked to. Overall I am very satisfied with his work, and if I ever lock my keys in the trunk of my car again this is the person I'm going to call first!

On a Sunday evening I tragically locked my keys inside my vehicle with my grocery’s.. not to mention my precious ice cream. I called them and they said they would be there in 20min.. they came in 18min! Since it was the weekend it was $75 which I still think is a lot, but I have insurance so I can’t really complain.
