The battery had died on our vehicle and the lock cylinder on the door hadn't worked it years. Chris got us back into our vehicle, jumped it and fixed the cylinder on the door all in less than 30 minutes and with a smile on his face on a cold Saturday morning. Thanks again Chris and team!

I had some lock upgrades and spent over $4K. As you can imagine the bigger the job the more likely there may be a hiccup or two. I have always believed that a business should have a Easy to Sell and Easy to Solve motto.👍🏾 It should be easy for your customers to purchase your product or service and it should be just as easy for your customers to have problems solved that may arise after the sale. In my opinion customer service includes problem solving with the same level of care and effort that is put forth during a sale‼️ ⚖️ That being said in business you will have two types of employees (1) Those that cause you to Make money and (2) Those that cause you to Lose money.💯 I am grateful that the owner (Guy) hired Melissa!!! She is most definitely an asset to the company. Melissa provided the most STELLAR customer service to me from Selling to Solving!!! Guy being a small business owner is not easy but I appreciate you making my experience with your company easy and enjoyable. 😊 Special shout out to Bruce also...he too nailed that customer service 👏🏾 . Wow! I could not be happier with my experience. Catherine at the front desk is an absolute asset to this company. She answered every question thoroughly and worked with me through the entire process. The car I needed serviced was an older model Lexus that other locksmiths couldn’t offer help or wanted to charge me twice as much! This was no issue for Irmo and they gave me a fair price! I ended up having a disaster. I went to the grocery store and all my cold items ended up locked in my trunk. It wouldn't open and I couldn't lay down the seats from the inside. The fellas at Irmo Lock worked on my car for about an hour in the heat, but never gave up and got my trunk opened. It turned out the manual lock mechanism had failed. They got it all squared away to where I could electronically lock it with the key and sent me on my way. I asked them how much it was and they just said, "don't worry about it, we'll call you with a quote to repair it.". They're a bunch of stand up people and if you need locks, security stuff, or anything of the sort use Irmo Lock!

I really appreciate the wonderful service I received from Irmo Lock Company! I’m from out of state and just closed on a home in Columbia. I needed the locks rekeyed and I had a flight out the next day. I called Irmo Lock Company after hours and they scheduled to have a technician come out the next morning before I left. I had a great experience with this company! After looking for my car key for hours I gave up and called the dealer whom quoted me a ridiculous price for 1 key....I would have also had to somehow go to them as well. I then called Irmo Lock Co. and not only was their price significantly less than the dealership they came to ME! Chris showed up within just an hour of my call. Considering they are located on the otherside of town & that I called last minute, I was very pleased they got to me so fast! Within 30 min of his arrival he had my new key and I was all set. Hi, a special mention to CATHERINE who helped me with amazing wisdom. My key fob and the metal key spit. Somehow i managed to get to my work place however then the car wont start. I called them and Catherine suggested that why dont i try to keep the fob closer to the metal key try to start the car and it eventually did... hadn't she told me this i would have to pay the additional price for towing. Also to mention all this was happening on a Friday. Immediately we went to their location and got a new key fob synced to our car and it worked perfectly well. I stopped by Irmo Lock this afternoon having an issue with my key fob. A gentleman (I failed to get his name.) took the fob from me and found that a spring was missing and replaced it at no cost. He was polite and professional and in my opinion went above and beyond in his service. For this I am very appreciative. I have had numerous occasions over the years to utilize their home service and in office purchases. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect. And the price was always fair. I purchased a new front door lock set, two doorknobs with keyed locks and 2 deadbolt locks from Irmo Lock Company and had them install the locks as well. Clint Meyer performed the service and called to let me know he was on the way, showed up on time and was extremely professional and efficient. Clint not only installed the new locks so that they work better than the old ones, but he fixed some issues with the doors and hinges and now the doors and weather stripping are sealed tighter. I highly recommend Irmo Lock Company .

I had a problem with my VW Jetta's engine immobilizer. Two trips to the dealership didn't fix the problem, so I reached out to Irmo Lock Company. Guy worked for several days on the car, and truly went above and beyond. I'm talking ordering circuit maps, talking with colleagues at other lock companies, and even coming in on a Sunday to work on it. He finally was able to disable the immobilizer and I haven't had any problems with starting the car since then, which I can NOT say was the case with the VW dealer. Guy charged me a reasonable fee for his service, especially given how much work and time it took to solve the problem. I actually offered to pay him more, knowing that it was a tough job, and he wouldn't let me. Irmo Lock Company is an honest business that does good work--unfortunately, that seems to be increasingly uncommon. I would recommend Irmo Lock without hesitation to anyone who needs their services.

We had a wonderful experience with Guy, the owner of the company. This was the only place that can program a Mercedes key. My father-in-law dropped one key in the toilet, another had its own set of issues. He tried his best to create keys for us while at the store but there were several obstacles but offered to come out to us to get the job. And he did so today! He is a stellar guy & honest work ethic. I would highly recommend this business to anyone having key problems or lockouts. I believe the name of the locksmith was Clint and he was extremely helpful! After 4 long hours of sitting on side of the road and having to pay a first locksmith company to unlock my car but couldn’t make me a key, then having a second locksmith company come out and tell me he also couldn’t make me a key, I finally found this company online and called and Clint came out and had me two new functioning keys in less than 20 minutes. Called multiple lock companies and no one could help yet almost everyone said call Irmo Lock Company. Clint answered immediately and was very helpful. Had our car towed there and left overnight. Next morning I called and they were working on diagnosing the problem which we thought was a worn out key. Hours later found out interior wire in steering mechanism broke. I bought a house a few months ago that had Caradeo doors and locks. There was a time when these were the best locks you could have...and the most expensive. In their time, they were beautiful. We wanted to keep them, but knew it would be hard to replace the old locks with new ones. I called Irmo Locks because of their great reviews. They proved worthy of their reviews. Irmo Locks measured the doors and locks, researched where they could be found, and set after finding them. Many weeks followed until they had found the locks and were ready to install them. They sent Bruce Blakey who spent over six hours making sure every lock fit and worked perfectly. There are people who call themselves Locksmiths. Bruce is the real deal! My doors are beautiful. I cannot praise Irmo Lock Company higher than I have. I have simply told you the story of my experience.

The locksmiths are freakin wizards!! You need a locksmith call these guys! Lovely by all means! Not outrageous with the price and their customer service is incredible. The workers are excellent and the care and love they give are awesome will be using them always!!!!! Love it love it love it!!!!!! First time using them they were a little backed up but I can tell you when they get to you it’s worth the wait. So be patient if you want quality and expertise! They know their stuff!! The locksmith that serviced our vehicle was very efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. He retrieved the broken key from our vehicle ignition, made another key, and checked the accuracy of the new key to the ignition, door locks, and trunk, all within 20 minutes. The quote that we received from Irmo Lock Co. prior to their arrival was almost 50% less than 3 other quotes that we had received. I owe my entire life to Irmo Lock Company and Adam. I lost my only set of car keys to my 2005 Toyota Highlander on USC’s campus. After searching high and low, I started making calls to different lock companies and Toyota dealerships. Every company required me to tow my car to them. Irmo Lock Co. was able to give me an accurate quote and met me at my car with a key already made. Adam tested the key and it was jamming a little bit— he apologized and said he would make a new one quickly. It took no longer than 45 minutes from his arrival for me to have keys that didn’t just unlock my car, but turned the engine on. Everyone I spoke with told me that the only way I would be able to get keys that started my car would be through Toyota for a hefty price. Adam provided me with two fully functioning keys for about 1/4th of the price of anywhere else I was quoted. I am SO thankful!!! Support local business! Thank you, Adam!

Highly recommend! They cut and programmed 2 keys to my Ford Focus and the service cost was $150. Ford wanted to charge me $300 for the 2 keys... I think the choice is obvious... half the price for the same service!

After loosing my car keys in Downtown, I started calling around to see who would be able to help me get a new one. Since my car is newer, it had to be done a certain way. A lot of locksmith companies turned me down or wanted my left arm to do the work. I called my dealership to ask them what I could do to which they claimed the only thing they could do is reprogram it if the car is here. They did not offer towing service to the dealership so that would be another expense on my behalf. My boss suggestion Irmo Lock Company after working with them so much. They told me right away they would be able to help me, and informed me the earliest they would be able to do it is Monday, which I was fine with. Good excuse to stay in over the weekend (lol). They set up a time with me on Monday to come out between 11:30 and 12. They were on time and even called ahead to let me know they were on their way. The technicians I worked with were incredibly kind. I have my key for an affordable price and could not be happier. I definitely recommend them.

10/10! Clint deserves all the recognition! Long story, much shorter, I locked my keys in the trunk of a 2018 Toyota Camry. After calling AAA and them sending out a company to unlock the car door the old school way, they triggered the anti-theft system. By doing so this disabled the trunk release on the interior button. As fate would have it my car was not designed with a non-electrical back seat pull-down release as well. Finding out the original company who came out to the AAA call could no longer assist, a call back to AAA occurred and they found a locksmith to come assist. Prior to Clint's arrival (over the phone with AAA he exuded professionalism, respect, empathy, and most importantly exceptional customer service). This was reflective upon his arrival and while on site as well. With much patience and learning additional 2018 model security levels by applying his critical thinking skills and initiative, Clint was able to create a new key to then gain access into the trunk. Not exactly how I would want anyone to spend their Monday evenings however, Clint was able to provide the light at the end of this tunnel!

We lost our only key for our 2010 Mazda 5 and had to get someone out to our house to make a new one. Irmo Lock was super quick to schedule. The first OEM key they made had an issue with the transmitter but they made a regular key so we could at least start the van and drive it. I went to Irmo Lock Company this past Monday in order to ask about ordering a new key fob. In trying to replace the battery in a key fob whose battery does not need replacing, the fob was pried open would not close. Adam, who I spoke with on the telephone prior to arriving, quoted a price on a new key fob but explained that the one I had was fine and that it only needed to be glued back together.
