I lost my key fob and cut key to my 11' 3series. I called American Best and they scheduled me an appointment. About an hour before my appointment my tech Mike called me and let me know he was on his way. About every 15 minutes he would send a text updating me on his eta. He showed up in a clean and professional looking service van. He asked me some basic info about my car and got straight to work. He made sure to do it the right way coding it to my car using his computer. After about a half hour he had me all set with a new fob and he cut me a new door key to match. 10/10 service would definitely recommend to anyone in need.

One of the greatest loscksmith companies I've ever hire for services. Fast, efficient and an unbeatable price all together. They came around 10 to 15 minutes, it took only about 1 minute to just open the door, about 3 minutes to even make me a spare key. David's one of the best workers I've ever met, good service, excellent salesman, no attitudes, no nothing just a man getting the job done. I called to see about replacing the mortise lock and doorknob on my front door and within an hour or so, Mike was at my house working on it. He did a wonderful job and made sure that everything worked perfectly. I am amazed at the speed in which everything was done! I had been told by other locksmiths that I would need to just replace my door—that a new lock wouldn’t fit on it because it has a wide glass center, but I didn’t want to do that because it’s the original door and I like it. I called American Best locksmith and 25 min later arrives and 15 minutes later he had a new smart key fob programmed to the car and he through another manual door key in for free. Here's why I highly recommend American Best Locksmith: -Reaching out to them was extremely easy. Sent a message through Google on a Sunday night and they replied almost instantly and arranged for quick service with a locksmith. It was so quick I actually thought it was an automated service but I could tell based on their response that it was an actual person. -The locksmith was prompt, professional, polite and highly skilled. They had no problem performing complex locksmith work for us. We had to change locks on 4 doors and wanted two sets of matching keys for inner and outer doors and it was no problem for the locksmith. -Excellent customer service. The locksmith had to drill through a door and it caused some dust to fall on the floor. He asked for a vacuum cleaner to clean up the dust. I've never seen a repairman ever ask to vacuum up a mess they caused. Given that time is money, most repairmen want to quickly move on to the next customer. This shows just how dedicated their locksmiths are to maintaining excellent customer service. So glad to have found this business. Will keep their information on file for any future jobs.

I had an amazing experience with this locksmith yesterday. I had lost my car keys, and my car was parked somewhere that would have made towing basically impossible. After calling (literally) a dozen locksmiths, and being told that the year make and model of my car made the job very difficult, American Best Locksmith was the only company even willing to come out and try. He came on time, with a giant work van that had everything he could possibly need, and less than two hours later, I had two working keys for my car. I highly recommend this company.

My boyfriend lost his car keys with no spare. Started making calls to different places at 11 AM, by 2:00 America’s Best had got my boyfriends new car key with the buttons and a spare as well. Apparently the 2010 Subaru legacy is not a car a lot of locksmiths can do for some reason but America’s Best did. They came to me, so no tow fee, super fast, good quality, efficient, very nice people. 10/10 definitely would recommend their services.

The guy who came to my apartment was a total pro. My key was stuck in my apartment's front door lock, and I'd been trying to get it out for hours. He got it out in about five seconds. He even showed me why it happened and made me a copy of the one good key I had, and he showed me what to do if the key got stuck again. This guy gets so many 5 stars for a reason. Quick to answer text/calls, excellent communication. On time and understanding (I was late due to parking garage issues). Didn’t rush and made sure the key was perfectly cut even tho my copy was worn. I had my own blank key and he even looked it up for me to make sure it’s right before cutting and charging me. PRICE. Trust me, this guy is 25-50% cheaper than ANYONE in the area. I checked at least half a dozen dealerships and plenty of locksmiths. I’ll definitely use this guy again without hesitation.

My entire process with these folks was good from beginning to end. The initial phone call was met with honesty and an appointment for the following morning. This is my first time ever writing a review but I definitely felt it was needed! My locksmith advised me the time he would be to my location and came right on time. Nobody seemed to be able to make the key for my vehicle...everyone kept referring me to the dealer. Steve (locksmith) was here to give me a second key system for SUV for my husband. But not only did he do that. I went to three places but to expensive and my key it self would not start car. Everyone said it can not be done because of alarm system was made that way. Everyone gave me the wrong information because when I told Steve he fixed it within minutes. The key it self has a chip in it and was not program. So now if battery dies in remote I can now use key in ignition and not get stranded. This really was a big deal for anyone. The icing on the cake however, and the true reason for me writing this review, are the people. I was helped by two separate gentlemen, Mike and Becka. Both men were extremely friendly, courteous and professional. Becka made the initial service call and did his job quickly and effectively, all while keeping up light and friendly conversation. When I went to the office to pick up the second key, I made the mistake of leaving the first key at home (which was needed to make the second copy). Having taken public transportation there, and seeing my frustration and sadness, Mike quickly offered to drive me home to have the second key made. That act of kindness alone made my day, but it didn’t stop there. On the trip home there was monstrous traffic, and with Philly roads being what they are, there were several detours along the way as well. Would highly recommend! Mike was very helpful and honest with the programming of my FOB key for my 2012 Toyota Yaris. He quickly programmed the transponder chip for the car to start but Out of his control the FOB was unable to be programmed due to a blown fuse. Although he tried for over 20 minutes he explained he issue that a mechanic would need to address and included instructions to program the FOB at home myself. He even discounted the total cost since he was unable to program the FOB.

So we got this wonderful new 2017 Toyota smart car that comes with just two keys. To me that is ridiculous. Calling the dealer and getting a price to make a spare key had me realize that I would have to give up one of my arms or legs. That was insane. I rummaged through the web and found a company in Elizabeth, PA that sold unprogrammed keys at about 70% of the dealer price that included both the transponder and a physical emergency key. Finding American Best Locksmith was the real find though. The price for the programming was a lot more reasonable compared to the Toyota dealer. I drove to their location on Margaret St. in Philadelphia and presented the blank transponder and key. Steve, the locksmith, had the transponder programmed in less than 5 minutes. The physical emergency key apparently was a lot harder to get laser cut because of alignment issues and it being a newer year. He probably spent 45 minutes and went through 5 blanks before he got it sorted out. But he eventually did get a good key and it worked flawlessly. I can easily imagine that someone else would have said to take the key to the dealer. Steve didn't and worked on the problem until he had it solved. With this new technology glitches are bound to happen. What every customer wants is someone who know what they're doing, and if they come upon a problem they don't quit and get the problem solved. I would gladly get my next smart car spare key from this company. This is the kind of workmanship that is appreciated.
