I'll start with that, if it was not for Nancy, I would not have had a home today. I moved to the United States when my English language is poor. This means that I had to have everything written to me explained more than once (Lots of paperwork). There were times I almost gave up out of frustration but Nancy was smart enough and very kind in explaining and encouraging me. We used Certus for our first home purchase this past summer. The single best thing about working with Al and his team at Certus is that they handle everything and they remove any worry you may have about your mortgage. Though they handle everything and take that worry out of the equation, you are never left in the dark about anything. As this was my first home mortgage, they were able to explain everything about the process even down to the detail of which servicing agency they will be getting the mortgage through and why. I had lots of questions about rates and how the whole process works and Al was able and willing to explain it to me in a way that was very easy to understand. I really could not imagine going through this process without them and in the end, the entire process was seamless and we closed perfectly on time and we have a mortgage and rate that we are very happy with. Without question we would use Certus again and we already have recommended them to others. Even our real estate agent will be referring their future clients to Certus because of how well they performed in our home purchase. They made the whole process easy!

Al Viafore talked me out of refinancing. He seems to be really looking out for his customers - not only can he get much lower rates than i could find with legitimate lenders but he advised us against certain products we were looking at and talked us out of going through a refinance which was not very very favorable. He in fact told us our best option was to contact our existing lender, pay down the mortgage and have them reset the monthly payments given the rate differential did not offer any meaningful savings.
