My experience with Brightwire Loans was a great one! I found Todd and his team while I was looking up reviews for other brokers. I read all the great reviews given to Brightwire and decided to give them a call. I instantly felt comfortable talking to Todd. He and his team answered all of my questions regarding refinancing my home no matter how many times I called or emailed. The process of refinancing was a smooth one start to finish. They were able to close my loan in 10 days once I submitted my paperwork. I would highly recommend using Brightwire Loans for all of your mortgage needs and I will be referring him to friends and family.

Words cannot describe how incredibly grateful we are to have found Todd Harrington with Brightwire Loans!! As first time home buyers we were uneducated on the entire process let alone the ability to obtain a CONVENTIONAL mortgage loan.. Todd guided us through the entire process every step of the way. From our very first meeting he was extremely helpful and was able to share his extensive knowledge in a way that we could understand. He not only impressed us but impressed every other party involved including our lawyer and realtor. Todd was consistently knowledgable, efficient, responsive, and detailed in his work. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best interest rate; even when that meant re-doing our entire loan to save us more money. It was very clear that Todd always had our best interest in mind. Anyone who is leaving a bad review likely is blaming Todd for things that are out of his control. He never disappointed us once. We had the pleasure of being able to connect with Christa through our Real Estate Agent as Christa was able to find us the best deal/situation out there. My wife and I were on the verge of giving up on the Housing Market for this year as we did not find the best deal for us when buying a house, and so as a last minute thing, our Real Estate Agent got us in contact with Christa and she was able to make the numbers so much better for us to the point we had saved so much money and then some by qualifying us both for a Conventional mortgage VS an FHA mortgage with an even LOWER down payment. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Todd and his team as first-time home buyers, and they all did a phenomenal job. We originally discovered Todd through Yelp and decided to give him a call, he was readily available to answer all our questions and get the process started. Once all our paperwork was submitted, he was able to get our preapproval quickly, little did we know we would be on a lock down due to the pandemic shortly after. Fortunately, Todd was understanding and had patience with us during this crazy time. Once things got a little less hectic, we were able to pick back up where we left off. He took the time to explain our loan options on multiple occasions and was ALWAYS available to answer all our questions. Todd put a lot of hard work and dedication into getting us the right loan that worked for us, all while keeping our best interest in mind. He was able to provide us with an FHA option as well as a conventional. We decided on the FHA since it made more financial sense for our situation. We were made aware by our realtor that the process for an FHA loan can take longer than others, but with the dedication of Todd and his team we were cleared for our FHA purchase in only 11 days!!! The seller really wanted to close by a certain date which seemed impossible at first, but Todd pulled through and made it happen. I found Brightwire via yelp and I am glad I did. We just got married and were planning to get into the current crazy market of real estate for our first home purchase. Had to the pleasure to work with Todd at Brightwire on the purchase of my 1st home during fall 2014. He reached out to me via an online inquiry I had submitted. During our 1st conversation, he didn't push or try to hard to close. I, like many, was a nervous 1st time buyer. Todd was able to put me at ease and I felt very comfortable working with him. Todd was there through the entire process and when I say this guy answers his phone and email quickly, it's true! Nights, weekends. etc! Todd makes it a point to attend the closing as well which put me at ease. There were certainly a few curve balls during the process and Todd was able to address them all. Todd has called me several times post closing just to check in and say hi. His offer and programs are aggressive and he knows his business. He's got strong character and does good business in an industry that isn't exactly known for integrity. Strong recommendation for Todd at Brightwire!

Our experience with Todd at Brighwire Loans was truly first rate. We met Todd from a friend's referral who said he helped them close on their home in record time. We were so please with our experience that wanted to pass it along. A little about our situation and the deal in question: both of us work in w-2 salaried positions, so the income was not an issue. Todd pre-qualified us in a day with very little back and forth. Once we signed a contract, Todd took over. He project managed the entire transaction, from coordinating attorney's, arranging for the appraisal with the realtor and AMC, making sure the appraiser submitted the report back and pushing the lender to get the commitment letter issued. Where Todd really shone, however, was in dealing with the condo association management company. The association management company was totally unresponsive in getting back to the lender with timely information throughout the transaction, but ultimately failed to disclose a special assessment owed on the property. The seller planned to pay the assessment, but because it was not disclosed, things nearly unraveled. Todd kept his cool and actually did the association's job in documenting the assessment so all the association had to do was confirm the numbers. It completely saved the deal so we could close. We can't say enough good things about Brightwire and thoroughly appreciate all of Todd's hard work and effective communication.

Not knowing the process (moved from VA to NJ), Todd and his team were amazing at explaining, keeping the process moving, clearing my loan in only 13 days, and being there at closing to help with any questions. Buying my first home was a daunting task, especially since I was buying a Coop and working directly with the seller rather than a real estate agent. What I really needed was someone with expertise in the field to be my ally. On one of my first phone calls with Todd from Brightwire Loans, I asked him why I should acquire my mortgage though him rather than through a large bank. He assured me that the personalized attention he would give me would prove necessary and he was 100% correct. He helped me navigate through each step of the process explaining all choices/implications to me and getting me a fantastic rate. He provided detailed checklists for me to follow as well as getting me familiarized with a program he has to electronically sign documents. Once I had my mortgage commitment on hand (in less than one month), Todd still was eager to help me complete the process and came with me to my closing at no expense. Needless to say, I was not looking forward to going through that again, so I made sure to do ahhhh lot of research beforehand to find the best broker. Thankfully, I didn't have to look far. I found a Brightwire Loans right here in town. Initially, I didn't believe all the reviews. I mean, how can a company in the service industry receive 5 stars?! You don't pick up the phone right away and people will knock a star off! Am I right? After reading all the reviews on Google, Yelp, Zillow, Angie's List (yes, I read them all!), I was still quite skeptical until I finally called them. And boy! That was the best decision I ever made. Todd, Patrik, Christa are super stars -- always returning my calls within the hour, answering all my questions (and I had ahhhh lot), getting us the best interest rate, and closing within a whopping 12 business days! They also caught an error during closing that saved us $3,250 on a title transfer fee. You can tell that they actually care and just want to secure the best deal for you. Because of their exceptional customer service, I trust them completely. I will use their service again and refer all my friends/family/colleagues. If you have the time, definitely shop around. Me and my gf were young first time home buyers. We had basically no idea where to start. We started with a few of the big banks and our Realtor suggested working with lenders because going to big banks could cause a lot of delays. However, he could only recommend lenders from his reality company. I decided to check online and yelp is basically my first go to place. When I saw 5 stars for Todd and Brightwire, I assumed it was a scam. But after dealing with Todd, I assure you he is worth all 5 stars. We got about 7 different quotes from other lenders and banks. Todd was basically one of the best out of them. You can reach him anytime you want and he gets back to you VERY quickly. I basically told him I knew nothing and he did an excellent job of explaining everything and letting me know all my different options. The whole process is intimidating and having someone you trust and that you feel you can rely on is such a plus. He was never pushy and I never felt forced to do anything. He always gave me multiple options for any supplemental things we needed. Now through the whole process, Todd did an excellent job in attaining all the documents I needed. We did have to go back to the underwriter twice but that was because of changes due to my employer. And everytime Todd was able to swiftly get everything I needed and work around things. I never felt alone or that things wouldn't work out. At one point, there was documents I didnt think my employer would give me and Todd was able to work around that rather than starting a new type of loan. We also had issues needing flood insurance at the last minute that he was able to help us quickly work through. Even through the holidays and when he was on vacation, I was able to reach Todd. He even monitored rates and got back to me when they dipped so we could lock it in. He showed up for the closing and helped us go through the documentation with the lawyer. He followed up several times after the loan was processed and made sure we had payments and online accounts set up. I have absolutely no regrets and would recommend Todd to anyone that is looking for a mortgage. And I believe this is the first 5 star review I have ever given. And it was well deserved. I definitely believe that if we had gone to a big bank loan, we would have lost the apartment.
