Just tried Haute Hampers sleep away camp cleaning service for the first time. I HIGHLY recommend it!!! I had never heard of Haute Hamper before, as they are several towns over from me. I stumbled across it while searching online for a camp trunk pickup/delivery pickup service. I had previously tried a different pickup/delivery service, and did not think the price was worth it as the clothes came back all mixed up (my daughters and sons), the folding was terrible, and they didn't seem clean. Haute Hamper's service was a complete opposite experience. The clothes and trunks came back clean, very neatly folded and packed in labeled, zippered bags with my childs name on the bag. My daughter's clothes were kept separate from my sons. Everything was clean and smelled nice. In years past, I also have dropped of the trunks at a local wash and fold, but again NO comparison to Haute Hampers service. Scott, the owner, accommodated my order the day before I wanted them picked up. He picked them up himself and after inspection, then contacted me to inform me there was a rip in one of the trunks (which I knew). He delivered both trunks back within 48 hours, and sent me an email with a photo (see attached). I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this service. Thank you Scott!!

I just used Haute Hamper for the first time and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I needed a dress altered with very little lead time and Scott Kaufman, the owner, totally came through for me. The turnaround time was extremely fast and the quality of the work was excellent. Scott made the entire process so easy and convenient. I couldn’t be happier and plan to use Haute Hamper for all of my tailoring and dry cleaning needs in the future. Just wish I found them sooner. Highly recommend!

I recently tried Haute Hamper at the strong recommendation of a friend and I am very happy that I did. I was very impressed with both Scott's customer service and the quality of his team's work. I love that Haute Hamper has a super flexible pick-up and drop-off service. My work schedule is very hectic and this service is a lifesaver. Scott was great about keeping me updated regarding pick-up and drop-off timing, and contacted me after he received my items to let me know what he recommends be done. He answered all of my questions and did so in a very responsive manner. Now for the services themselves. I sent Scott a pair of Manolo heeled leather boots that I've worn to death over the past few years (the repair was ultimately prompted by the bottom piece of a heel breaking off), as well as a light-colored Sandro suede skirt that I honestly thought was beyond repair. He waxed the boots, fixed the heel, somehow managed to fix the worn out toes, and made them look as good as new. Until now, I would've taken these boots to Leather Spa and would've easily had to pay $300 for repairs; Haute Hamper charged me a fraction of that price. With respect to the skirt, he not only fixed them hem (which had begun to unravel at the bottom), but he also made the suede look completely refreshed. The repairs were completed in less than two weeks, which further blew my mind. I highly recommend Haute Hamper and look forward to using them again in the near future. Haute Hamper is a fantastic service, especially for the working person. I needed a bridesmaid dress altered and I reached out to Haute Hamper via their Facebook page to discuss the process. All of my (many) questions were answered promptly. Scott was incredibly kind and professional - he came to my home timely and worked with me to find a good fit and hem that the dress would need. My completed dress was then delivered about 2 weeks later and I never had to leave my house! Professional, efficient, and great work.

One note to Scott Kaufman and in an hour HE was at my house! The pants have already been altered in under 24 hours! That's customer service at it's best. Exceptional service, value, and workmanship. I have a lot of suits of which I’ve spent a fair amount of money to tailor to my liking. I usually wear them a little on the fitted side which most tailors are hesitant to do. When I contacted Scott from Haute Hamper not only did he alter it exactly how I asked, he was able to do it right out front of my house. Incredible! If your looking for a great tailor, you can stop now because haute hamper is where it’s at!

I discovered Haute Hamper after googling seamstresses in the local area. I actually called several other places first that did not answer their phones and immediately after contacting Haute Hamper, Scott was swift to respond to my initial inquiry. The service appointment was promptly scheduled. Scott and the seamstress came to my work place to do some measuring for the hemming and then took my dresses with them. They do great work and I was pleased with the alterations, but it was shockingly more expensive than I realized it would be. The alterations cost more than I paid for the two dresses combined. It was only after my dresses were in their possession that I was informed of the cost and at that point I felt I had no choice but to agree to the price. Despite my disappointment in the cost, both dresses were completed in a timely manner and delivered back to me in time for both weddings. I will also note that one of my dresses (a skirt actually) was returned with a very terrible odor. It was nicely wrapped in a plastic cover but as soon as I removed the plastic to try it on, there was an immense foul odor. It smelled like some kind of grease or possibly a old fried food smell or something in general that was completely unpleasant. I do realize they probably bring the clothing back to their home to complete alterations since there is no business address, but after spending way more than I intended to hem two dresses, I was not very happy that I now have to also pay for dry cleaning.

After a quick rush to get my daughter home from college i must have had at least ten loads of laundry. I called Haute Hamper. They picked up one day and delivered the next. The service was impeccable. The clothes were immaculate and so professionally treated and folded i was amazed. Scott certainly knows his fabrics and stains. He was able to totally remove a huge stain from my wife's very expensive and delicate beach coverup. I had taken it to our local dry cleaner without any success. His pickup, delivery service and reliability is 2nd to none. So give Scott & Haute Hamper a try. I found Scott when looking for a local wedding press preserver. I've been putting it off since I got married in October 2018 because it was just too expensive. Most places wanted $500-700 because of the designer and the beadwork, and the length. I first went to Scott for tailoring just to check him out, but immediently booked a pickup for my dress. The process was seamless, he came to my home (Bronx), took my measurements for the pants, gathered all my wedding gown accessories (veil and garter), and went about his way. It's been about 7 weeks (I sent it off at the start of May) and I have my dress back in hand and it's perfect. The price for wedding preservation was reasonable (under $500). Highly, higly recommend!

Just had 3 pairs of tall leather and suede boots cleaned and used Scott for the first time I normally use an high end shoe repair recommended by Neiman Marcus and I can tell you they were no where close to the quality Scott's team performed on my boots. A wonderful new service to the area. Made my shoes look like new. Reheeled one shoe, reheeled and resoled another, and put special red rubber soles on a pair of heels to protect them. Amazing customer service, great communication, and a service that makes life easier with one less errand to the cobbler as they come to your home. Only cost a little more than other cobblers as well, and its well worth it to never have to leave your home! Highly recommend.
