I called this place at 730 am on a Saturday and their customer service was phenomenal! I had to get my dress steamed for a wedding I had to attend on the same day( talk about waiting last minute). Kathy was such a sweetheart and I appreciate her being so flexible on my super super small window of time I had. I now have a cleaners to go to in the Bronx 🥳

I would highly recommend this place based off the service that I got. I called in early before school to see if they could tapper one of my dress pants for an even I had later in the day, they seamlessly delivered what I wanted in a unrealistically fast time period. I’ve never been to a tailor that is open as early as they where and I’ve never gotten pants tailored as quickly and well as they did.

I’m from the neighborhood and have been using American cleaners tailor service. It’s been great. He’s friendly has great customer service skills. Will give you sound advice regarding tailoring a garment. I’m willing to spend the extra money to make sure that my attire fits me properly and American cleaners Tailored makes it worth the while as the tailoring service from this man is great 👍🏾😊Blessings 💦👏🏽✊🏽👌🏽✌🏽🧚🏽‍♀️👗👚✨🌟⚡️💫 I would add to have the text messages include garment numbers or identifying information to minimize confusion and loss.

All I have to say is THANK GOD I found this place! About 6 weeks before a wedding I noticed my bridesmaid dress was about 2 sizes too small and wasn't zipping up, and due to covid the bridal shop we ordered from closed down. I was super stressed thinking my only option was to lose weight or else.... and a bunch of seamstresses denied me when I asked if they can add fabric to the back of my dress due to timing, etc. I finally found American Cleaners & Tailors (I call them my heros lol!) when I told them my situation they said easy peasy and let me know they can make a corset panel in the back with no problem. Even better, I let them know I wanted to try losing some weight anyway, and they told me I can see how much weight I lose and bring the dress back to them as little as 10 days before the wedding and they'll have it ready for me. I ended up losing the weight and not needing the added fabric, but just the fact that they were so accommodating and willing to do this for me was everything! They hemmed the bottom of my dress and stretched the back part a bit, and it came out absolutely perfect. I couldn't thank them enough for their eagerness to help, and how comfortable they made me feel in the process. They are the sweetest people and really know what they are doing! 10 stars!

We found ower self's in the Bronx once again yesterday. My wife dropped off a few thing's for her a friend at the American Cleaners . It's a friendly place. Net and clean and everything in order . Have a good day . . . .

I was in a pinch and needed same day pressing of a few items late in the day for a party and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. Friendly service too. Also cool that they text you when you're pick up is ready instead of a paper ticket.

I can't say enough about American Cleaners & Tailors!!! I needed my dress hemmed and quick (I was going out of the country in 24 hours). Not only was American Cleaners & Tailors able to do it, but they had my dress all ready to go in 1 hour from when I dropped it off! They quality of work done was impeccable. I am extremely satisfied with American Cleaners. Our family has been using them for years. Whether it’s dry cleaning or tailoring, everything is done expertly, in a timely manner and at a fair price. Vinnie and his staff are extremely accommodating. We also use American Cleaners for our business. We have a funeral home in the neighborhood and our clients often need clothes dry cleaned for their deceased loved ones. When this is the case, Vinnie immediately has the clothes ready and always offered them at no charge to the families. It is such a kind gesture for a neighborhood business to offer this to their community members.

Extremely satisfied with the service. Best cleaners I have ever been too. Very nice and cool people. Its very difficult to tailor a karate gi. They did an amazing job. Loved the fit. Other places don’t even know what a gi is. I don’t live close but I still come here because of how great this place is. Everything I bring is always done in time. Faster than everywhere else. Customer service is also amazing.

Prom dress, a million beads, no problem!!! Im glad we came here...my daughter's prom dress was an amazing fit. As a mom I felt NO stress leaving the dress here to get altered. His no hesitation and positive attitude made the prom experience a great memorable one!!

Best tailor for 100 miles. Honest, reasonable prices, and reliably customizes my suits to the perfect fit. Had him tailor my wedding tux, 3 suits, and a bunch of shirts & pants. I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in the tri state area
