Reviews of Queen Anne Laundry Room
Chris Dinger
Haven't read other reviews, so it's unclear why this is rated under 4 stars. This place is clean, machines are new, parking is easy, and a Starbucks is across the street in this quiet neighborhood. The owner was present and actively manages. Cards are accepted. He offered me a water bottle free of charge and was very friendly.

Cost me $10 to do 2 full loads wash & dry. Fair prices all things considered. Bit of a convoluted process though. Didn't see where to get a pay card/ add money. The attendant offered to simply use their card on the machines I was to use for me and I could just pay them. Machines only do 30 mins per payment (washers & dryers). One of the washers didn't do a prpoer spin cycle, told the attendant and they ran in a different machine for free (spin only). One of my loads was a lot of heavy fabrics (sweatpants and such), high heat for 60 mins left them slightly damp. They have about 6 machines, each, for public use.

I had been riding the train for 5 days now and needed to do some laundry!
This was the closest laundry facility to my hotel!
I liked that I was able to get my clothes washed and dry without having to make change or purchase a bunch of coins!
Also liked that everything was washed and dryed in the amount of time that I was given!
The attendent demanded that I pay upfront, while the pink people were allowed to pay when their clothes were washed, dryed and folded!
I also noticed the attendent moving the pink people's clothes from the washers to the dryers then folding them!
My clothes set in the washers until I moved them to the dryers once I returned from eating lunch!
I also removed them from the dryers and folded them myself!
I hate being treated differently because the color of my skin!

I love this place!! They are friendly and helpful and often switch my clothes from the washer to the dryer for me, giving me 1.5hrs to chill at a nearby restaurant with a glass of wine! Amazing! I love laundry day!

I'm travelling and needed to wash a load quickly. I just put my stuff in the machine and that was it. Guy set the machine going and moved it into the dryer for me while I sat in Starbucks across the street. I didn't need detergent or coins, paid with cash and I think they take card too. All done in about 1 hr 15 to 1 hr 30. Great experience.

It's not bad. The attendant is a nice guy but a little rough around the edges. I came in while on a long trip and needed to wash my clothes before I left Seattle. The way it operates is he pays with his own card and then you just pay him for the machines you use.
At first I thought he was trying to scam me because like I previously mentioned, he's a bit of a character. But all in all it was a good experience and I got the job done.

Fantastic Laundromat. Great service and help from staff, so accommodating. Clothes washed and dried perfectly.
Also good coffee shops near-by to go while you wait.
Ellen Hirsch
Small, not the most modern, but the attendant was helpful and got what I needed done.
Cory Duffield
Lovely and kind staff! They always remember my name and ask me how I'm doing.

I wish I would have come up here when living in lower QA instead of using my apartments small machines. I’m in Cap Hill now without a laundry room and this place is great! Very fair prices (I wait and wash/dry/fold my own). I have never had a problem finding a machine and can sit and catch up on my phone (or write a google review) while waiting. Starbucks across the way and a Safeway a block away for when I forget to pack detergent (like today). If no parking out front there have always been spots within a block. Thanks for operating this great laundry room in QA!

Very friendly staff and a good place for your laundry.

Best prices on laundry, owner and crew are super awesome. We did like 5-6 loads of laundry with dry for $16 #industrialwashing #industrialwashingmachine #industrialdryer #bestofseattle

Funky and Local Laundry Joint
Great place to wash a lot of laundry or large comforters and pillows. Also has drop off wash and fold service. Doesn't take coins so you'll need about $10-$25 in cash to buy an electronic card for the machines ($3 for card). Otherwise bring cash and the guy on duty can help you out. (he looks gruff but is super-cool)
Colin Semple
Friendly owner/staff. $5 for wash and dry… so glad we came here
Lawrence Edward Muir
Very nice staff. I was late in starting my last load to dry it and he assured me I could stay as long as I needed to make sure my blankets were dry. Totally cool and very accommodating.

This place is clean with washers and dryers that get the job done. When I have ultra big loads, will definitely come here again. One note though.....don't bother getting quarters, everything is run on a cash card. The attendant was helpful in fixing this situation. Plus, when waiting for the wash to finish, what a nice area to walk around in! Upper Queen Anne!
Just a statistic
Nice laundromat. 5 dollars for a large washer that accommodates 2 loads and good dryers. I use 2 coin operated dryers which completely dries a two load batch for 2 dollars very nicely. So seven dollars for 2 loads. They also have a drop in/carry out service for others that are busy and have more cash and need the convenience. People are friendly and down to Earth and I haven't smelled BO like another reviewer claimed. Listen, it's not the Taj Mahal but it gets the job done.
Cindy Williams Lund
It's a laundromat... small... not very clean but I finished quickly. Staff was in my space a lot.. there's not enough room to stay 6ft apart. I think he was trying to help but I didn't need help.

Wonderful owners, great laundromat!!

Was in Seattle for vacation. Needed my laundry done. I came here and had a good experience. It was nice to see the owner had no issue letting the misfortunate work there. Very nice staff. Would use this service again if ever in Seattle again.

Not bad. Some of the machines are in need of maintenance. But it's a good facility in a good neighborhood and the only game in town that is open late.
Daniel Alspaugh
Very helpful if you need change or whatever, always available washer and dryer average cost for both $7-8

Quaint laundry room with very friendly staff. Amazed this exists where it does. Pro-top you can buy individual servings of laundry soap for a few cents
