Wow! This place is incredible! I know that may be a stretch considering this place is a Laundromat, but entertain me for a moment. I'm from Florida and needed a place to wash clothes since my hotel didn't have laundry facilities on property. I just Googled this place and saw that it was highly rated and seemed to accept card payments. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owner who was leaving. Not only did he (Mr. Doug, in case you ever stop by) stop what he was doing to ensure I had everything I needed, but also took a few minutes to show me how to properly use the machines. I needed to purchase a card but at this time, the dispenser was not accepting card payments. So I loaded my clothes into the machine, and went across the street to get cash and a few other items. When I returned, not only had my clothes been started, but the dryer was prepaid as well. Mr. Doug had started my machines for me and trusted that I would return with money to pay. He didn't have to do that at all. I only interacted with him for a few minutes, but you can really tell he takes pride in his business. He was mopping the floor when I came back. All the machines are neat and well taken care of. I wish I would've gotten more information from him but he is an amazing Gundam being and it shows through and through in his business. I haven't tried any other Laundromat's but after an experience like this, I won't. Service is how you keep people coming back and I will recommend this place to any and everybody that needs to wash. Thank you Mr. Doug for your caring spirit and wonderful work ethic.

This is a great place the atmosphere is very pleasant and the owner Mr. Douglas is a very gentle person. Soon as you come in he is right there offering you assistance and take it…lol The place is clean and the washers/dryers are wonderful. My clothes were clean and wrinkle free. It will be my go to place from now on! The name of the Laundromat has a beautiful story behind it. If you are in the area give it a try, you will like it.

Must have cash to buy the laundry card. No ATM on site. Wish the machines took debit cards.... the other than that the place is great. Owner is present and checks on the machines and the visitors. Very clean. Air conditioned. Large washer malfunctioned mid wash but he quickly resolved the issue with a free wash. TVs, vending machines, laundry carts....

My first time will not be my last. When I arrived the attendant spoke to everyone and made himself known to let everyone know that he was there to assist if needed. I love that the machine are not coin machines and use modern day technology. I also like the incentives such as earning points. The place was clean and quiet... exactly what I was looking for.

The owner was great. We went in with two small kids and he gave them each a bag of chips free of charge while we got started. He showed us how to use the machine and was very kind and professional. There’s many seats all around to wait and the place is very clean, even has a clean bathroom. TVs were there to watch while you wait, just wish it wasn’t on political channels. Also wish there was a changing table in the bathroom. But seriously this is the best laundromat I have ever been to.

This is very much a 5 star laundromat. I never been to a laundromat where u have your own laundry card where you add money to your washing card to wash with. Will be visiting this place again.

Been to several laundromats across the U.S. knock on wood this is truly the best one. The owner approached me in a friendly manner to ensure my experience was great. Mr Doug went over the set up of his business, not in an arrogant way, but in a way to make laundry run smoothly as possible. For the duration while I am here in Louisiana, there isn’t a need for me to go elsewhere for laundromat.

We are here assisting with the debris clean up for Lafourche Parish after hurricane Ida and we’re unfamiliar with this area. We read the reviews about this establishment and figured with so many great reviews, this was the place to go to for washing our clothes. Sure enough! The owners were very courteous and friendly and professional. They helped us figure out the machines and clearly explained how everything worked, since we were used to the old style of laundromat where you had to lug around a thousand quarters. This place is clean and located in a great convenience location. You won’t be even remotely disappointed if you choose to stop and wash/dry your clothes at this laundromat.

I found this laundromat by an advertisement via the radio during the recent Ida aftermath with the neighbors helping neighbors broadcast. Mr. Doug runs a clean, cool and great establishment. He is very willing to offer assistance at the slightest look of uncertainty. He suggests tweaks to help your laundry dry faster....turn denim inside out! He identifies available machine options so people make the most of their time and the list goes on. I'll definitely return here to wash my large comforters from now on.

I saw a review by someone who met one of the owners. He said the gentleman was a Marine. The hours synced with my timeline so I drove there and met both Veterans! They run a clean, safe, easy to use facility that is in the neighborhood they grew up in thus giving back to the community. They fully explained the card system and made sure I was educated on the machines so I didn't waste money. I was in and out in under an hour and I didn't even lose a sock.

Went here to wash clothes for a client after hurricane Ida because it was in her area .I was met by Mr. Doug the owner who personally showed me how to use the machines, how to register and put money on my card etc , checking on me periodically to see if I needed anything else. The Great Wise One

The most tidy and spotless laundromat I've ever visited along with a professional staff whose attitudes are always positive. The owner, Mr. Doug Brown and Mr. Armond are the kindest men who are always readily available to assist patrons when needed. They are exceptional communicators and even better listeners. I must acknowledge their diligence and patience after Hurricane Ida opening a few days later providing those affected to wash their clothes and sit under cool air. As a frequent patron of Ma-Lu's, I've never seen the laundromat at full capacity. Mr. Doug and Mr. Armond wisely contained the crowd by providing numbers to patrons in order to prevent traffic and allow for everyone a chance to wash. Great men do great things and think beyond catastrophe.. A great business ran by great men. You won't be disappointed.

Not only was this the best laundromat I have ever been to, but it was one of the most pleasant customer service experiences I have ever had. Mr. Doug is clearly passionate about his business and serving his customers. The location was clean. The machines were top notch. TVs and WiFi made the space inviting. This has to be the cleanest most professional Laundromat in the country not only inside but the outside as well. I travel all over the USA for work and hands down this place is the best. I spoke with one of the owners when I picked up my laundry and he was a very nice guy. I would highly recommend them for all of your laundry needs. Oh and wash and fold is only $1.00 per pound and that is a bargain.

I’ve been to this location once before and loved it ,but did not get a chance to do a review. My last visit was pretty late in the evening so it was quite busy but still plenty of space and machines. It’s very clean and all machines work. On my recent visit I met Doug, the manager. He approached me and was very polite and asked could he tell me about some of amenities to the place. He helped me register my wash card and gave me many other tips on how to save while washing and also the way the machines worked. On this particular day it wasn’t crowded at all. Such a nice place. :)

Went this morning to catch up on laundry from the hurricane. Very clean and well organized. They made sure everyone was served according to when you arrived. Given a number and kept everyone moving. This is the nicest laundromat I’ve ever been to, hands down. I was dreading going and sitting there for an hour or two while I waited for my laundry to finish but the facility is so comfy and immaculately clean that I don’t mind sitting around! Also Doug is so friendly and helpful. He provides excellent customer service to everyone that walks through the door. Customer service by the owner, Doug was second to none. We had restoration workers in the area and they needed laundry done with little notice. Doug was more than willing to stay for us, even though he had Mother's Day Plans with his family. The laundry was sorted, cleaned and folded back in a few hours. Uses a prepaid card instead of quarters. The owner was so nice and friendly and explained how the machines worked. Even helped me carry my clean laundry to my car! I will definitely go back!

I came here because I read the reviews as to this being the cleanest laundromat in LA. And I needed to wash my son’s comforters. My intention was to give this facility a 1 star because of an issue that I encountered and the response I received. However, the facility is so VERY clean and WELL maintained, that I just couldn’t do it. Plus Mr. Armond appeared out of nowhere and responded to my issue w urgency, and was very professional, and apologetic. He walked me through the reward process w the card. His energy was so welcoming. He reminded me of my dad and how he use to run his business; especially when the customer wasn’t pleased with their service. It’s great people like Mr. Armond that keeps me supporting black lives and black businesses. This facility is well taken care of and the price isn’t bad for the experience and quality of the machines. Thanks Mr Armond again for making my experience a delightful one.

Two of the owners were there and they were friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful. They walked me through everything since it was my first time there.

This is a very nice laundry, that is very free WiFi, and a very nice flat panel TV. Feels very good in the laundry. High tech machines that use a card that you get from another machine. Very reasonable prices on the machines . Load $10 on the card, and get $1.00 in credit. Very friendly owner. Never had such a nice experience at a laundry before.

When I arrived, I was greeted at the door! The lady that was there asked if I had ever been there before. I hadn't so she showed me how the washers work and the capacity of the three different washers. She showed me how to change my bills into a laundry card that is used to operate the machines. The facility is very clean and so is the washers. I didn't use the dryers. I will definitely use their services again.

This laundromat is the cleanest and friendliest laundromat I have ever used. The owners and attendants are always available for assistance. The clientele are honest and neighborly people. I left a pair of Oakley sunglasses on top one of the machines and 2 hours after I left I called and the owner had just picked them up to hold. You can also register your laundry card. I had 2. I lost one and the owner looked up the account and transferred the 12 plus dollars to my other card. Money not lost.

Our house is being remodeled, necessitating a trip to a laundromat. This place is well lit, clean. Machines were nice, almost all working (maybe 1 or 2 out), but there are plenty. Owner's brother there, very helpful explaining debit card process. TV and wifi available. Clean restroom. Would use again if and when needed. No vending, but there is a Family Dollar right across the street if the munchies attack.

Awesome laundromat great helpful owner former electronic. Engineer and former US Marine and believes in helping the community. Great high-tech state of the art machines and the give incentives... Spend 10 they give you 1 dollar free. Price for washing And drying is very reasonable and more importantly... This place is clean top to bottom. Only drawback is limited parking lot... Very small but nothing terrible.

The machines are all new and operate properly, you don't have to lug quarters around and the owner is very helpful and nice. The friendliest, cleanest, most climate controlled laundromat I’ve ever been to. I just needed to wash a comforter that’s too big for our apartment washer/dryer. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the nicest lady in the world named Brennell who showed me how everything works and then came back and made sure I didn’t have any problems getting the washer started. Modern machines, free wi-fi, clean bathrooms, security cameras, and game shows on the TV. I highly recommend Ma-Lu’s!!!

I recently moved to the Riverridge area and I googled laundry mat and Ma Lou's was first in the Google search. This place is very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. I felt so comfortable here. I can say by for this is the Best laundry mat that I've been in. The washers and dryers are up to date and the best part is you use cards instead of coins which saves time.(Love It) There is free Wi-Fi and tv there also. Mr. Doug the owner is very nice and socializes and helps carry people laundry out. May God Continue To Bless The Owners and Family.

Awesome laundromat. This is a high tech laudromat with the most advanced machines. No need for quarters because you put cash or card into machine to get a landry card to use in machines. Has new televisions, magazines and owner working to keep everything looking good.
