My washing machine needed to be replaced and delivery ended up taking a month, so for the first time since college (a very long time ago), I used a laundromat. I tried three others before this one, and none even came in at a close second. The first thing I noticed was that it smelled nice - no musty or lingering cigarette smells, etc. It was very well lit, very clean, and freshly painted (absolutely nothing sketchy here). The second thing I noticed - which was actually confusing at first - was the customer service. I was greeted by a very nice woman a few minutes after I arrived, and she gave me advice on which machines to use. Turns out that she is the owner. She was there the entire time that I was, cleaning every inch of the place, greeting everyone, and kindly assisting with anything. Dragging a weeks worth of my family's stinky laundry here was far less painful that I expected.

The place hasn't changed much since the mid 80s except the machines are much more advanced! It was clean, the owner was friendly, and my laundry was done faster than it ever is at home.

We are a large family and lost power for several days. We brought multiple loads and three little kids to Great Lakes Homestyle Laundry. There were many machines of various sizes which were efficient. The change machines were operational and convenient. The facility was clean, and all machines were functional. While we were there we met the owner, Joy, and her son Tyler who were cleaning, refilling vending machines with supplies, and servicing the washers and dryers. They were kind and courteous. I highly recommend this place!

Laundry mat was clean. Had various sized washing machines. We were able to fit a contractor size bag of clothes in one of the extra large washers for $6.50 (wash time was about 25 min). Was able to dry that load in one dryer for $3 (dry time 1 hr). The smaller loads only took 40 min to dry. The wifi kept the kids entertained and there was a tv there as well. I'm glad I found this laundromat and will definitely return if the need should arise again.

The owner Joy who has had the laundry mat for 20yrs sincerely cares about her establishment and her customers, this woman was on her hands and knees cleaning!!! It's clean and has lots of folding space and WI-FI. Parking in the front and back. I actually take my dogs to the Dog Groomer next door. Black owned and they do a great job. I actually do laundry while dogs are being groomed or get a bite to eat from the many food establishments in the area.

An 8 week plus outage and repair attempt of our otherwise reliable 16 year old Frigidaire Gallery washing machine brought us to Great Lakes Homestyle Laundry with nearly 8 weeks of laundry. There were only two other patrons doing laundry upon our early afternoon Thursday arrival, and all the machines we needed were available. We made concurrent use of 5 of the $2 machines, 2 of the $6 machines and 2 of the $4 machines and just two of the $1 dryers to plow through 9 loads of color permanent press to whites in just under 2 hours including folding time. The coin machine took our $20, $5's and $1's and eagerly converted them into the stacks of quarters to feed the hungry washing machines. The facility was very clean and very well lit enabling a remarkably productive early afternoon of weeks of laundry catch up. By the time of our departure, several more patrons had arrived and still demand for the ample capacity of machines had not been exceeded. I suspect that competition for machines on the weekend might be much keener, but the facility's hours of 4:00 am to 12:00 am certainly afford plenty of hours each day to get your washing done.

This is by far the cleanest place I have ever been to wash. The machines work, ALL of them. The dryers actually dry your clothes for one cycle run. Joy is a delight to talk to. All of the pateons I have had encounters woth are so nice.

Our washing machine broke so I visited a laundromat for the first time. I called first to see if I could use my HE laundry soap and the owner answered right away and was very helpful and friendly (yes, I could use it!) The laundromat was very clean, the machines worked great, the owner was there tidying up and talking to people, and overall it was a great experience.

Does the job, offerble, parking is fine sell products in case you don't have. One bathroom for both men and women is kinda unique.

Serves it purpose. At 6am on a Saturday I was alone for awhile. Machines worked fine and were reasonably priced. Only negative was someone left dryer sheets all over a folding table.

Reasonably priced to do laundry. Same as all others basically. Clean place and quiet. Not a bad place at all. I’ll return to do laundry here again
