Used their company through Watchbox previously but this was my first time coming in. I had no appointment but Natalie G was free and helped me out. She was very friendly and accommodating. Knowledgable on her watches and ultimately helped me pick out a BB58. Couldn't be happier with her and how Govberg carries themselves. Will be coming back to add onto my collection.

Fantastic boutique! Highly recommend. We are just getting into independents and Natalie was very professional and helpful with helping us pick out our first independent brand watch. The boutique has a great selection of preowned watches! This boutique also has H Moser & Cie, which is absolutely phenomenal! Had a really great experience today at Govberg. Had an appointment with Greg to discuss a Tudor watch I'm looking for. Also brought a couple of watches along that I need the bracelets adjusted on. I'm visiting from out of town and did not buy those watches at their fine shop but they were happy to help me with attentive professional service. Their shop is one of the most beautiful watch shops I've ever been to. They are the friendliest Rolex AD's, I've had the pleasure of visiting oh, and they also carry several other high-end brands. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to buying my next watch from them when they can get the exact model I am looking for. I would be happy to even make a trip from the west coast to visit the shop again.

A friend had purchased a Baum & Mercier at Tiffany for her husband and it needed a new battery. Tiffany couldn’t service the watch and recommended Govberg who were so lovely! I had an appointment within minutes in their lovely showroom. The representative was so very nice and said they normally have to send watches out, but it was a common battery and they had them in stock. He popped it in and sent me on my way for no charge. I started collecting my first watch from Govberg since 2015. Today l bought my 5th watch for my watches collection and 10th total for my family members all from them. It's mine only go to rolex AD. For the past 6 years, I had been help by different salesperson, some had not work there anymore but all were very professional. I was been helped by Mrs. Natalie G. today. She was excellent salesperson. I like her a lot. I will always referred Govberg to my family members and friends. It was pleasure experience every single time. I always felt like I was VIP client to them. They treated me and everyone with respect and dignity. They once even offered our family to a dinner treat. I'm so grateful I found Govberg and thanks my friend who introduced me to Govberg in the first place.

You think you know what you want until you actually see the pieces in person. Natalie was so knowledgeable and took the time to show me a range of options on my first visit. Such an amazing experience at the center city location today- intended to drop of my wife’s vintage bluesy for service since my past service experience with Govberg was phenomenal. Didn’t realize that it was by appointment only however the security officer was very accommodating and professional- we were met by Natalie Goldberg to help us coordinate the service request, immediately her hospitality warmed us up and we were welcomed to browse the showroom without any sales pressure. Having any kind of work done on a luxury watch is perilous. Opening watch cases and sizing metal bracelets with screws can go very wrong without the perfect touch. Govberg is a rare oasis where one does not have to worry about these issues, because they do a perfect job, sometimes even free of charge. They are the best in the Philly area.

It was just a regular Friday and finished having Starbucks and lo and behold there’s Govberg Jewelers and they’re open. I call to see if there’s any availability to look around for a watch and they were kind enough to make an appointment for me on the spot. I’ve been in the market for a pilot’s watch and today just felt like the right day. I was helped by Monica today. Right from the start she was very welcoming and knowledgeable about watches and shared the same enthusiasm as me, so we clicked very quickly. Tried on a couple Breitlings, but just wasn’t in love. Monica did mention IWC and of course it’s a brand I love and wanted, so she found a beautiful Le Petite Prince 43mm with a blue dial and leather strap. It is perfect. She hit it out of the ballpark with this recommendation. She took her time to find out what I wanted and truly valued me as a customer. I really enjoyed the entire experience and will recommend to come to Govberg and speak with her for your next timepiece. I look forward to many more watch purchases with Monica myself. I stopped into Govberg yesterday to order a link for one of my watches and possibly browse around. Gregory was the advisor who was helping me and I honestly wish I can give a review higher than 5 stars. I’ve been to plenty of luxury watch boutiques but this was the first time the advisor didn’t feel like a salesman. Gregory felt like a friend just talking and joking about watches. That means a ton because there has been dealers who usually age discriminate me but Gregory treated me as equal which I won’t forget. If you’re in the market for a watch and want to shop at Govberg ask for Gregory for a highly knowledgeable and friendly experience. Monica was extremely helpful. I went in originally to service one watch, but I was able to try and purchase difficult to find watches. I was unaware that Govberg was affiliated with Watchbox. Couple weeks ago, I decided to visit Govberg Jewelers. Keep in mind, I'm a young adult and based on previous experiences at watch retailers- it was generally tough to express my passion for watches. However, this was unlike any other experience I had. Walking into Govberg Jewelers- I noticed how welcoming the staff were. Erik Widhson showed me around the store and to my surprise had several great watch conversations. While my last visit to Govberg Jewelers did not result in a purchase, Erik exposed me to several watches that I had been dreaming to try on. First off- I was surprised to see they carried Grand Seiko (while I've read amazing things about the brand- I never experienced their watches in person). Erik was more than happy to let me try on several Grand Seikos and thoroughly discussed their respective details. Additionally, Erik introduced me to a brand I had not yet seen- H Moser & Cie... to say the least these pieces were art to me (certainly check them out when you visit). Ps. for those that have been looking around to try on any Rolex watches, it was nice to see Govberg Jewelers carry several Rolex watches on display to try on. So, for someone like me who has also dreamed of trying one on (despite the difficult nowadays to do so), Erik made that possible. Highly recommend visiting Govberg Jewelers if you are looking for a vast selection of timepieces. As customers, I am sure we all hope to find an advisor that is not pushy into any purchases- I never felt pressured by Erik to purchase anything. Instead, he educated me in several timepieces and shared the excitement I had. If you are looking to discuss any watch, whether to purchase or to learn more about- ask for Erik Widhson, you will not regret the visit. Will certainly be going back to him for future purchases.

I wanted to celebrate a recent promotion by getting my first Rolex. I struggled with some other ADs in the area just to get an appointment, but Govberg was fantastic. I got a call back within 1 day from Monica Moc. She invited me down to see their selection and figure out the best size for my wrist. I ended up deciding on a black dial Datejust in 36mm. They were able to source the watch within a couple days (no easy feat considering there are one year waitlists for certain models!). Monica was fantastic throughout the process - helped me get the watch sized and showed me how to use the easy link feature for a comfortable fit in the summer. Super happy with my experience - would definitely recommend if you're looking for a new Rolex (or other high-end watch).

Making the best out of a bad situation, Govberg pulled through. I had previously bought a lovely Grand Seiko from them, and had expressed interest in a Submariner. Walked in for some warranty work on the GS, and asked about the possibility of a Sub to celebrate a milestone, instead I was presented with a gorgeous pre-owned A Lange that I instantly fell in love with and bought. Turned out that the watch had slipped through the cracks and ended up being stolen and I had to return it to Govberg so it could go back to its rightful owner! But to compensate me, they were able to source a Sub for me in near record time, and I could not be more pleased with how I've been treated. Also, if you get a chance to go to any of the brand events they have in their store--I had the pleasure of going to the Tudor event last year--hop on. They're a blast.

Great hospitality and attention right from the start! When traveling I always go to Rolex Authorized Dealers in hopes of finding a great timepiece. Most of the ADs I have visited look you up and down, check you wrist and try to get you out of the store as soon as possible. At Govberg my experience was the complete opposite. I began my watch experience with a Breitling Montbrillant Datora I purchased from Govberg several years ago; great product, impeccable service and a reasonable price. I was hooked. I have since purchased and traded in several watches over the ensuing 3 years; the Montbrillant and several others were traded for my "grail" watch I will discuss in a moment. Each and every time I worked with a polite, professional, extremely knowledgeable staff - Justin Rix - who was very patient with my questions and demand for excellence.....he exceeded all expectations. Each trade was fair and I received a quality product backed by the Govberg service guarantee and warranty. Regretfully in pursuit of my grail watch I had the opportunity to test the warranty....when I received the IWC Perpetual Calendar the day was misaligned with the respective calendar date....an impossibility if you know the watch and can only be adjusted by a qualified horologist. Without skipping a beat, Justin apologized for the discrepancy immediately initiated FedEx return and placed me in touch with Ms Christina Teixeira to guide me through the warranty process. Again, impeccable customer service... she kept me appraised of the process insisting Govberg go above and beyond (fully overhauled at IWC Schaffhausen) to ensure I have a quality product. Ultimately I received a - Like New - fully refurbished timepiece with an IWC guarantee, fully exceeding my expectations and providing me value far in excess of what I paid for. Part three and final segment....I tried a competitor chasing after a "good deal". I had been on Chrono 24 looking to round my collection out with an IWC Pilot chronograph and found an at-market priced product with a Midwestern jeweler I had not previously used. Regretfully, the good deal was too good to be true; the product, service and support were nonexistent. However, the story ends well, I was returned my money via Chrono 24, contacted Justin at Govberg and purchased an IWC Big Pilot. As expected the product is in perfect -like new- condition with impeccable service to match. For anyone pursuing a watch collection, just an every day watch or the grail watch, don't bother with other shops just do your on line research and go to Govberg. I will remain a life long customer. *****UPDATE***** November 2020 Recently I discovered an issue with my IWC Portugese Perpetual.....if you are familiar it is an extremely complicated watch.....the day lagged the actual calendar day; there is no way to independently set any calendar function due to the complication. I immediately contacted Ms Christina Teixeira, referenced above, who sprung into action to assist. I can't say enough about the attention to detail and customer support at Govberg. Regretfully this is a repeat issue with this watch, however I feel confident in talking to the Goverberg staff this will come to a successful end and grateful for the WATCHBOX warranty and now IWC factory warranty. Again.....as I stated above Quality company that stands behind their product, customer focused, diligent and supportive staff...Christina is the best.

They have an impressive selection of brands, including more enthusiast-focused brands like Grand Seiko and H. Moser and Cie. However, this review is specifically for my experience with Erik. Each time I visit, I learn something new about every one of the brands at Govberg because he's able to speak about each piece with respect to how it performs (he used to work in watch repairs fo Rolex), what makes the movement special, how different the dial manufacturing process is, or just the general current events in the industry and the perception surrounding each piece. I'd say he's been the first watch salesman I've encountered who can really speak to each detail about a watch. Whether it's Rolex, Patek, or Grand Seiko, we've always focused just on the watch. I never thought I would buy something that had a "storefront" on the internet but now I don't think I would do it any other way when it comes to finding a watch at Govberg. Robyn stayed after hours the first night to talk to me on the phone and made everything so smooth. I never felt rushed and everything moved at the pace I set. The communication was excellent. I recently purchased a used COSC certified watch online from them. I was very surprised when it arrived. The watch was in mint condition. Probably only worn a handful of times. Customer service was excellent throughout the transaction and delivery. During the first week of wearing the watch though, it was losing 11 seconds per day. Very disappointed to say the least. I live on the west coast and was going to be in Philadelphia for a few days so i called to ask if i could come by and have someone maybe take a look at it. I was told i would need to leave it for a week. No one could even just look at it. Disappointed again. I have since had it regulated. It took less than 5 minutes. I wear it 24/7 and it now loses about 1 second per week. Very happy now.
