Despite an incredibly high demand for watches, I received my watch within the window she provided when I first ordered it. She also kept me informed on the order and let me know about any and all updates. I can’t wait to buy my next watch with Hana!

If you are thinking about getting the first watch of your life, this place is definitely the place to go for. Jamal was super friendly and knew a lot about watches and particularly Rolex. He guided me through the process of selection and waitlist, and eventually I heard back from him after a month for my dream watch. His service has been superb and I love his enthusiasm! Would recommend going with Jamal if you go to Watches of Switzerland.

As soon as I saw this limited edition Grand Seiko I knew I wanted it, but that it would be very difficult to get. I reached out to Hana at Watches of Switzerland as she has been a great salesperson to my family and friends over the years. Not only did Hana register my interest in the watch, she managed to get me it! I was ecstatic when I heard from Hana that the watch I wanted had arrived. I rushed over to the Greene street location and Hana and the staff welcomed be warmly and made me feel so comfortable while I waited to have the watch sized to me. Such great customer service is hard to find in the city especially since watches have become such a popular hobby. 5 stars for Hana.

Had an excellent experience at WOS Soho with Sadaf who is very knowledgeable (a watch geek in a good way), patient and kind. Went in set on purchasing a Grand Seiko, tried on a few options and almost did buy the SBGA415, until Sadaf showed me a pre owned “neovintage” explorer ii which i immediately loved and walked out with. The rest of the sales team and staff I met were really friendly and polite. I recommend coming during the week at off hours if possible. Looking forward to my next visit and next watch.

Having visited Watches of Switzerland several times I’ve always admired the collection of high-end watch brands. The store is beautiful and I’ve agonized what to buy from the many pieces there. Beautiful store! Upstairs, each watch brand was separately displayed and almost felt like you were walking into a new store each time. Downstairs, epic! Well designed, perfectly built, super chill and comfortable seating. The coffee / beverage bar was super cool + great art installations throughout. The salesman who helped me, Chris - was personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about each brand regardless of price point...and all with a smile on his face! Watches of Switzerland has one of the best selection of watches in one shop than any other shop in NYC. As a watch enthusiast it’s great to be able to pop in and learn about timepieces. This past Friday was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a watch shop, with Chris as our guide. Even though my friend and I were just looking and trying pieces on, Chris was incredible patient and never pressured us. He gave us a tour of the entire shop and was incredible knowledgeable with each brand. I’ll definitely be back in on the regular and looking for Chris’s guidance.

I had an excellent experience with Jonathan at Watches of Switzerland SOHO and I couldn't recommend the store and Jonathan more highly. I was looking for a watch for a few months, and I tried visiting about a half a dozen stores throughout NYC. Some stores didn't pay much attention to me because they didn't immediately sense an incoming sale, and other sales people were pushy, not knowledgeable enough, or motivated by factor outside of their customers satisfaction. Not with WOS and Jonathan. From my first visit, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. He seemed genuinely interested in helping me find the best option for me, even if that meant recommending a course of action that contradicted his own self interest. He stayed in touch over text, kept an eye out for my interests, and was always welcoming if I wanted to stop by or get a second opinion from a family member in person. Ultimately I purchased my watch from them because they genuinely cared about my best interest and were trustworthy through the entire process. Some watch stores in NYC will be unpleasant; they will gate keep their best watches, be borderline dishonest to make a sale, or push you to spend spend spend. If you want to avoid that completely, go to Watches of Switzerland SOHO and ask for Jonathan.

Hana is extremely patient with all my requests regarding a timepiece. I inquired about a Panerai watch and had very particular requests on the looking of it. Went in for a service for an Omega. They were able to help me out, very professional service in store. Watch came back earlier than expected. It takes forever for them to answer the phone and respond back to emails, that was the only downside. Update: I have since come back to the store and had a very nice experience with them. While she did show me the Seamaster it was very perfunctory and left as soon as she could with no chance for me to ask any questions. As a resident of Greenwich Village, it is a delight having this store within walking distance, situated very much in the neighborhood of downtown, below 14th Street. During my multiple visits and purchases there, I have enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, lovely and well executed decor and ambiance, excellent selection of watches, and staff interactions. The staff at WoS are incredibly friendly, and well-mannered, all without feeling uptight or bothered - as is too common in high-end retail locations. I have received wonderful assistance from salesperson Hana, who has gone the extra mile with attentiveness, information, and prompt responses to my various inquiries on different pieces, be it through email or texts, I always get a prompt response, even if she is not working that day. I feel this is a reflection on how this location is managed. Everyone from the security guards to the store manager have been very personable and enjoyable. This makes me want to return, and bring my friends! What an unexpectedly wonderful experience! I ventured into Watches of Switzerland Soho to purchase my first Rolex timepiece for my birthday. I was warmly greeted by Jamal Alleyne and I immediately knew I was in good hands. All the employees of this location were very nice, with Morgan the client experience host checking in occasionally and offering us beverages. Being that this was my first Rolex and I was spending more than I would regularly for a watch, I had to put a lot of trust in him. He never pressured me in anyway and it felt very natural. I had an amazing experience all the way to Alex, the very nice gentleman fitting the watch to my wrist. My wife loved working with Jamal as well. I wish all the success to him and his Soho team. Recently, we were in the market for a luxury timepiece to celebrate a momentous occasion. As with many novice-first time buyers, navigating through the many brands and types of watches can be daunting. After visiting a number of boutiques and authorized dealers in midtown Manhattan and given little to no attention either because of the way we dress or hearing that we were indecisive of a particular brand at the time, we almost gave up on the idea of purchasing a luxury timepiece in its entirety due to frustration. This was when a close friend of ours told us about Watches of Switzerland in SoHo and introduced us to Hana. First off, let’s talk about the location. Although an authorized dealer, when we stepped into the shop, it felt more boutique than your traditional AD, especially the lower level that features a wet bar and lounge. Then there was the staff, who were friendly and welcoming the moment you step in. When we met Hana, we told her of our situation, why we wanted to purchase a luxury timepiece, the budget we had to work with, and that we have little to no experience with the luxury watch industry. She was patient in listening to our story, walked us through a number of brands that were within our budget, showed us a few pieces that were slightly beyond our budget and explained to us the difference in wearability and price for each. What we appreciate about Hana was that never once did we feel pressured to complete a sale, the conversations were friendly, and that she offered her honest opinion for each piece that was presented to us. Through our conversations, she explained to us that for our first watch, we should pick the watch that would present us with the most enjoyment when worn rather than one that has been overshadowed by clout, which was refreshing to hear for once as there were some less popular brands that we really enjoyed trying on. Once we had decided on the watch to get, Hana was very thorough in explaining to us the ordering process (watch was not available in store), the payment options offered, and kept us posted with updates throughout the purchase until the watch was ready for pickup. We were glad to have walked through our first-time purchase experience with Hana and would highly recommend her to others who are considering to purchase a luxury watch of their own. Because of this exceptional experience with Hana, we look forward to doing business with Watches of Switzerland again in the future!

Decided to treat myself for a long time desired Cartier watch. First, ordered one on the WOS website with a credit from Afirm. Received a perfect small Panther overnight, but decided it was too small for me. I took the watch to the WOS store in Soho where it was graciously accepted by the store manager. I chose a different Cartier watch, but I didn’t have enough money at the time to make a purchase. Unfortunately, the store does not accept Afirm credit. I wanted to go to the Cartier store, where I had placed $3,500 deposit and to finalize my purchase there, but the sale person Sadaf talked me into purchasing the watch in WOS. She said I will get a financing here and if I purchase the watch, I even receive a gift from Cartier! It sounded very nice, but I had no ID with me. I should have asked to try approval for financing right then. Instead, I went all the way to Cartier and got my deposit back. I returned to WOS in 2 days only to be denied the financing. In addition, I had to call my bank to increase the amount of my daily spending, so I could pay for the watch with my debit card. By that time Ms. Sadaf was visibly annoyed with me, for it took too long to finalize our transaction. By the time it was done, she didn’t mention anything about the promised gift from Cartier. I reminded her, and she looked taken by surprise. She went downstairs and brought me a bottle of cleaning solution for jewelry. I felt humiliated. Yes, I left with a watch that I like, but I wish I bought it in Cartier store, where I was receiving much more professional and much friendlier service.

I actually visited both the Chelsea location and the Soho store to obtain a watch I had been hunting for and no one seemed to stock, outside of WOS. Amanda was a great help at the Chelsea location and needed to refer me to Richard at the Soho store to secure the very last model they had in stock. Both stores have excellent inventory and brand selection. Amanda and Richard were not only extremely friendly and helpful, but also fellow watch geeks. That’s actually pretty refreshing because I have visited other watch retailers nationwide and it’s surprising how often the salespeople are simply there for the paycheck, while showing very little passion. While I had only planned to stop off and make a fast pickup of a pre-arranged/held model, Richard ended up spending a full hour with me, discussing brands, market trends and recent changes, introducing me to a couple of limited editions, reviewing some pre-owned inventory and certainly beginning a longer term client relationship. Being an enthusiast himself, Richard recognizes serious collectors and treats them to the time and attention required to truly cultivate trust and strong relationships with his clients. If I’m going to spend my money with a timepiece retailer, I would certainly prefer it be with someone that has a similar passion, which is why I look forward to my next purchase with Richard.

We were searching for high end popular brand watches, and ended up at Watches of Switzerland greene St. What a pleasant experience it was to be greeted by sales person, Hana. She gave us easy-to-understand information about almost all brands, and made it simple to figure out what will be the best for us. She made extra efforts to show us all major brands and designs. We were looking for matching watches for both of us, and Hana showed us several such matching design watches. Although we did not buy any this time but we have pretty good idea what we may be buying on our next visit at this shop.
