I am a senior nursing student about to graduate, and I came to Ramseys during the last weeks of summer to inquire about getting a personal ring made which was individual to myself. I came in and met Mrs. Bridgeja who was extremely helpful in meeting my requests. She kept me updated frequently and sent me concept art from the design team. Today she gave me the notification that it was available for pick up. The ring came out absolutely gorgeous and was more than I ever could have asked for. I am so thankful for Mrs. Bridgeja and Ramseys for creating the ring that I wanted to commemorate my graduation!!!!

Karen was very polite and helpful. She had our best interests in mind and paid attention to each detail we gave her of what exactly we were looking for. She also respected the fact that we had a set budget in mind and never pressured us to buy something that would have cost more than our desired budget. I also never felt rushed and Karen focused her attention on us despite other customers walking about the store. My jewelry always comes out clean and sparkling as if I had just taken it from the shelf. When asked what do they do different Karen did not mind answering my questions and took the time to explain the process. 10/10 recommend. I have had the best experience at Ramsey's above any other jewelry place I have visited. They will always be my first choice.

Brittany made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free start to finish. She provided me with the information necessary to make an informed decision and I felt very confident that I was getting an amazing product for the money I was spending. Brittany not only provided excellent service in store, but went above and beyond by staying in contact via text throughout the process. When I first visited the store I only had a picture of the style of ring I wanted to purchase. Over the course of about 6 weeks the ring was ordered, assembled, and shipped to the store ready for pickup. My fiancé loves her ring more than I can describe and the proposal would not have been the same without it. Brittany made that possible. 40 year makeover! This was my first time dealing with Ramsey, I've been married for 40 years I've always loved my wedding ring, its been well over time for the prongs to be serviced. I lost a diamond from my invisible setting a month after having my ring. I spoke to Courtney over the phone, and she was very professional and knowledgeable about my type of ring and setting. She made me feel very comfortable to allow them to work on my 3CT diamond ring. Courtney set up an appointment with Sean in store to go over details to get my insurance quotes for repair (I believe she was off the only day I could make it in that week). Sean was also very helpful and gave great advice on my options based on his knowledge. My best option was to place my diamonds into a new channel setting (which would hold my diamonds in place by gold) due to my current setting being an invisible setting (where the diamonds were only being held in by tension). I am happy with this option because it made me love my ring even more once seeing the difference the setting made. The repair was just over a month long and very easily handled by Ramsey's. I was kept informed and was shown photos/videos of the process along the way. Meeting Courtney in person to pick up my ring was a true pleasure! She explained everything in detail including their awesome warranty program. I look forward to having my partners ring special designed at Ramsey's with Courtney soon! If you are shopping for a piece of jewelry... save yourself time and head to Ramsey’s. I promise you won't regret it!

I cannot say enough good things about ramseys. From the first time I walked in I was warmly greeted by smiling staff member. The store itself it absolutely beautiful. They have a large selection and it's all competitively priced. I was originally going to buy my engagement ring from james allen (online store) but the prices here were very similar and you get to actually see the diamond in person before you buy it. Today I went and picked it up and the box it comes in is beautiful. They also treated me to a bottle of champagne which I thought was a wonderful touch to the entire experience. Judging by my experiences the few times I've been here this is likely to be the place I buy my wedding band and any future jewelry. They were quick, helpful, informative and I would definitely recommend them for anyone shopping for an engagement ring. Karen went above and beyond. Kenny and Ramsey’s customer service has been of the highest caliber you could ask for, even after we got the rings in. I decided I had ordered the wrong size, and even that, they have made it easy. As for the rings themselves, they are perfect, gorgeous, a wonderful weight, and we couldn’t be more happy that we purchased our wedding bands here. Highly, highly recommend. And as far as Kenny? I wish there could be a Kenny everywhere.

Might not be the worst - however it's certainly far up the list. With no power at Ramsey's for most of the week leading up to my deadline - and communication with nearly anyone in the city at it's worst since Katrina; I was beginning to assume I was doomed. However! Like a final hitter in a baseball game with bases loaded - Bob Ramsey came through with class. He will even confirm that I questioned how he made some things happen at such a disastrously awful time for the city. His ability to solve problems was nothing short of unbelievable. I showed up looking for an engagement ring on one of the busiest days possible (last day of a sales tax free promotion). I was immediately attended to by a gentlemen and then a diamond buyer while a salesperson became available. Mr. Bobby Ramsey then helped me for the next ~2-3 hours finding the perfect setting and diamond, explaining every step and idea to take into consideration. Spending money never feels good to me, but the process at Ramsey's definitely felt organic and friendly and not money-grubby. The most perfect ring was available the next week and pick up was hassle free. After giving the ring to my fiancee, we visited the store for resizing. Rather than risk the arch and shape of the ring being diminished with resizing, they suggested we order (free of charge) a brand new ring the correct size and they would transfer the stone. Excellent service and something I feel like went above and beyond. Definitely a happy, loyal customer now.

Just went to Ramsey's yesterday, What can I say the best shopping experience to date. Bobby treated my wife and I with total care and respect. I felt no pressure to purchase, and was really impressed with how much information he was passing on to us. We worked with Bobby for over an hour and he found my wife exactly what she wanted. My wife lost her wedding ring set in Katrina, I was finally able to purchase a replacement for her, what can I say, again Bobby hit it out the park. The ring will not be done for another 4 weeks, But if it turns out like our shopping experience did, I know my wife will be happy for years to come. Second review for this place: As listed below, I purchased my wife’s bridal set at Ramsey’s and have continued to frequent the place with ring cleanings and case shopping, knowing I was going to buy a bigger diamond for our 5 year anniversary (it’s coming up on our 3 year). We walked in on a whim to look at some loose diamonds with absolutely no intent on purchasing. Then we ran into Kenny. I’m not sure what customer service school Ramsey’s is finding these gems (pun intended) at, but he was absolutely incredible. He listened to what she wanted. Showed her options that matched her exact criteria as well as some that resembled it but differed slightly, things that we weren’t aware of. He explained it to us in ways that we could relate to. He was not pushy at all, but helpful and supportive of what we wanted, even when we made it perfectly clear that we were not interested in purchasing today. He was patient and gave us options, recommendations, listened to our objections or questions and easily and adeptly explained them. His character and his ability to see us as people and not $$ made us buy when we weren’t expecting. Ramsey’s continued to exceed our expectations when it comes to product, pricing and most importantly, customer service. Shout out to Kenny for everything he did to make our experience unforgettable!! Our experience was incredible. My girlfriend and I had looked at several different places for bridal sets and just couldn't really settle on a ring either because the ring wasn't "it" for her or because our salesperson was less than excited about assisting us. As soon as we walked into Ramsey's and we're introduced to Darius, the experience was unlike another. The selection was incredible and she was captivated from the first ring we looked at. Gorgeous settings, brilliant sparkles and a plethora of designs to choose from an absolutely unbelievable prices. Ramsey's will always have out business. I recently purchased my fiancee's engagement ring and wedding band from Ramsey's. A few months ago my fiancee and I went into the store while travelling to NOLA to look over rings to get ideas. She had never really contemplated what she would want in an engagement ring, so I knew their extremely large collection of sample rings to look over would give her plenty of options to gain ideas from and get us closer to her dream ring. Bonnie was really great and helped her though her search. Bonnie did not try to direct us to anything other than what my fiancee was trying to describe. She was patient and helpful without any rush or pressure. Our tastes are not what I would call easy to please. haha Regardless, Bonnie helped her identify a ring that honestly became her dream ring. It needed to be ordered and customized to accommodate the diamond we had chosen. You would think this might be a daunting development but it was not. They took care of it all and Bonnie stayed in contact with me as things progressed over the next month. Even when something didn't go right and triggered a delay not of Ramsey's fault, the Ramsey's team worked to rapidly address it to ensure I would have the ring in time for a trip that was planned for the proposal. The ring is also custom etched on the sides, and that as well was done to perfection. We couldn't be happier with the results of our choosing Ramsey's for our ring needs. My fiancee still has not stopped staring at it randomly a month after getting it. The smile that it brings to her face every time she looks at it makes it all the more special. To be completely honest, when my then-fiancé and I went into Ramsey’s to look at wedding bands, we planned to just take a look around and fully expected to leave within a few minutes to continue our search and to see what other stores in the area had to offer. So, you can imagine our surprise when we left with a receipt for two new wedding bands! I have to say that Jessica, the amazing Diamontologist we worked with in the store, served as one of the biggest factors influencing our decision, and helped us feel comfortable and content buying our bands at Ramsey’s. Jessica truly took the time to listen to everything we liked and disliked, our thoughts on certain rings we tried on, and gave us honest feedback on everything. She went above and beyond to make us feel as confident as possible throughout the process — especially considering how late we were in the process when buying our bands, how much help she was to me in making engraving decisions, and how when my band came in and didn’t pass their rigorous quality control tests, she made sure that I was immediately made aware and worked it out that I would still have a band to wear on my wedding day. And when I was torn between three (very different) bands, Jessica pulled out the mirror trick (because for some reason, it looks SO different seeing your rings in the mirror as opposed to just staring at your hand!) and I nearly instantly had a decision made. And I’ll say, too, that Jessica knows her field better than most! My dad grew up wanting to be a gemologist (so when that didn’t happen, we just spent a lot of time in jewelry stores growing up), and a good friend of mine is the bridal director at a fine jewelry company, and Jessica is the first person to ever show me options for those lucky people out there who have a finger size that’s a full size smaller than their knuckle. All of that is to say that we were so impressed with Jessica and Ramsey’s and the great work that they do. Their customer service is top notch, especially when it comes to dealing with stressed out brides and grooms before their wedding, and their warranty can’t be beat!

Taking the less traditional approach, my Fiancé and I began our search together for my engagement ring at Ramsey’s, and fully anticipating on shopping around at multiple jewelry stores in the area before making a decision. We did not have an appointment and wanted to walk in just to look for our first time. We were greeted by Sara, one of Ramsey’s Diamond Consultants, who spent over an hour with us that day. Sara helped us try on styles we liked, and she encouraged us to sample a wide variety of styles we hadn’t thought of to make sure we had seen all of our options! From that point on, we were sold and never looked at any other jewelry stores! We were amazed at Ramsey’s selection and willingness to help us find exactly what we were looking for. Sara did an amazing job getting to know us as a couple, so she could help us find our perfect ring. She provided us a variety of different styles of rings to try on, and she encouraged us to be honest about our likes and dislikes to help us narrow down our preferences. Sara never once gave us the “pushy saleswoman vibe,” and she gave us ample time to make our decision. She used her knowledge of diamontology to help us learn a lot about the different options through our various consultations with her. We even ended up completely changing directions with our original ring design, and Sara spent several more hours with us deciding how best to incorporate a family heirloom into our ring. We ended up with a product that we are both in love with! Sara made our engagement ring shopping super easy and very fun, and I couldn’t wait to go back to Ramsey’s and show her the finished product (on my finger!) a few weeks later when I went back in to have some other rings resized. I highly recommend Ramsey’s for any jewelry needs, and definitely ask for Sara, as she will take care of you and help you find or design the perfect piece of jewelry, engagement ring or otherwise!! I’m looking forward to heading back to Ramsey’s in a few months to pick out our wedding bands!

They have a pretty good selection for the area. Staff was friendly and helpful. I found a band that met my requirements. Sales staff Darius and Karen were polite and helpful. No one was overly pushy on my visit but they are sales and as expected want to sell you something. Other gemstones in the store were limited; however they do advertise as Diamond Jewelers. If you are looking for settings with mixed stones make sure you look around. The other places i visited had bigger selections of other gems, but you should pop in here to see what is in stock. I would recommend if you are looking specifically for diamond settings they should be on the list. The store was very clean and modern.

I came to Ramsey's because I was recommended by a friend, and she definitely was right on how amazing they are. My fiance purchased a ring for me but the sizing was a little off. I was unable to go to the original jeweler for a resize because of how far their nearest store is, so I went to another jeweler to get it repaired. However they gave me a temporary solution to what would later have to be fixed again. So, I took my ring to Ramsey's to be repaired for the fourth time (the other jeweler kept incorrectly sizing it), and was finally given what I needed. The lady who helped me, Sara, was super helpful upon arrival. I was even introduced to one of the owners, Bobby, who inspected my ring himself to give me the best solution for a ring resize. My visit was quick, efficient, and easy. Within a week and a half I was reunited with my ring with the correct size, and it was even cleaned. While I waited for my ring to be fixed, Sara responded to my emails in a timely manner and even checked on me after I received it. The customer service and care I was given was beyond my expectation and I would definitely recommend Ramsey's to anyone looking for jewelry repair, engagement rings, or even just day to day jewelry.

First time ever shopping at a jewelry store and I must and have to say the best experience ever!!! I had so many question so many ideas and the lady that was helping me had the answers had so much advice and so much help. Like I wasn’t lost after talking and being helped by her. By far the best experience ever! And on top of that got what I wanted and my soon to be wife loved the ring!! Definitely recommend going to Ramsey’s. Will be shopping there again but the lady that help Me I definitely want again made things a lot easier. The lady you have to go to is Courtney! Best ever got to recommend her. This store is off of veterans blvd Metairie. Definitely a must and have to go if you want to buy jewelry or definitely get help out

Me and my now Fiancée went into Ramsey’s so I could receive the Frontline Worker’s pendant they were giving to healthcare workers. He was then interested in knowing my ring size and Ms. Sara was happy to help him find out what it was. She showed me rings to find out what style and size of diamond I was interested in, and from there she worked with my Fiancée to help him pick a beautiful engagement ring!
