I’ve built a collection of wonderful earrings and rings that I treasure. The prices are fair and the inventory changes rapidly so it’s fun to check in every now and then to see the new stock.

This was one of the best shops that I’ve been in. I literally spent hours in here and could have spent more. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I walked away with about 6 rings, which they had sized for me and shipped back. They’re are true gems of the city and should be visited!!

I am SO GLAD my friend and I came across this little store while visiting over the weekend. Everyone was so sweet, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The selection is AMAZING with excellent prices! My friend and I both purchased multiple pieces for ourselves and family. This store was truly one of my favorite things about our entire trip. I even told my friend when we left that I wondered if the ladies in there would adopt me! Haha. It really was a great experience and I will absolutely be back the next time I'm in NOLA! Hopefully I'll be able to bring my crystal obsessed 16 yo daughter next time!

I got this gorgeous azurite here, along with many other stones, but this instance is my particular favorite! I had been wanting azurite for quite a long while, and seeing this piece for $15 made me so happy, and I felt extraordinarily drawn to it. This piece has significantly relieved my anxiety! Every time I place it near me or on me when I’m overthinking or having intense anxiety, it genuinely feels like a weight has been lifted off me. This stone has worked absolute wonders for me, and I can’t thank this shop enough. I could mention many other of my favorite crystals I purchased here over the years, but I’ll refrain for the sake of brevity. Aside from this experience, the shop has remarkably cheap prices for gorgeous authentic stones, and I am amazed by the wide selection with reasonable pricing every time. If you want a wide selection of cheap and authentic gemstones, this is the place to go! Please give this location a chance, I promise you it’s worth it! :)

The proprietors are always helpful and upbeat. I love the selection of raw crystals (as well as polished) that are fairly priced. They also have a selection of 'premium' crystals which are gorgeous in a higher price point. It's a small space but even has other little surprises like beads/curio/bones sprinkled throughout the stones. They have a large selection of sterling silver jewelry featuring almost any stone you can imagine. I enjoy stopping by for my gemstone needs -- and then stop at MRB bar next door for a drink!

Absolutely amazing place! The most beautiful jewelry selection, from eclectic to estate pieces this place has it all! The geodes and gem bracelets are a marvel, the staff is warm and welcoming. An absolute must visit in New Orleans! So very much to see in a small treasure chest of a store!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this shop, and surprised myself that I hadn't written a review prior to today! This was my be all end all favourite spot to browse and purchase gems/supplies for my chainmail and wire wrapping work. The staff is stellar, very knowledgeable and sweet. Above and beyond helpful and I've always had such wonderful interactions. Any friends who love gems/ working with gemstones or materials they carry get dragged off or sent over to them as it's just perfect. The shop may be tiny but I'm surprised it doesn't just burst open one day and the loot of a thousand dragons come pouring out the doors. You'll not be sorry and want to leave with everything you see just stopping in and browsing. Make sure you've adequately prepared for the epic shininess and reasonable pricing that makes you need a trailer to bring your purchases home :)

This store has beautiful pieces. If you're looking for display worthy pieces of all varieties of gems and minerals you should go here. Prices on the really nice items aren't cheap, but I found they are wholly fair compared to Etsy/eBay alternatives for what you get. Prices on the basic items are very fair. Yes they have watchful staff at the store to stave off shoplifters because french quarter shoplifting is a real thing for them. Don't take it personally!

This shop is exceptional!! The lady Diane who helped my boyfriend and I was so patient and had a fantastic ability to zone in on our individual styles. There must have been hundreds of thousands of jewelry pieces available, and she knew exactly what suited us based on our style, sizing, and colors that worked with our skin. We were able to have our fingers sized, and all rings were resized for a reasonable price and everything shipped back to our home so we did not have to travel with nice new jewelry. The owner was amazing as well, he helped ensure that the sizes we chose were appropriate and considerate of the fact that our fingers had swollen a bit from walking in the heat.

While I personally am not into gems, my teenage daughter is and wanted me to stop by with her. She said the selection is amazing and the pricing was the best and lowest in town. Went today for the first time and had a lovely experience. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I had my daughter in a stroller and although it was a little large everyone was nice and helpful! I found such a beautiful variety of raw crystals in so many shapes and sizes. It’s like a lovely candy store and the prices were affordable. I will be shipping their again soon.

This store was amazing!!! I had the time of my life here when I visited New Orleans. The staff was so attentive, educated and talented!! I found the most beautiful Larimar ring in a very custom setting!! Fiona was absolutely precious and taught me about an old New Orleans saying "Lagniappe", she definitely went the extra mile to make sure I was well taken care of and made to feel at home!! This place has an amazing selection of stones, including lots of rare and hard to find things. The staff here is amazing- knowledgeable and friendly. And omg. The jewelry is stunning. They have some amazing pieces with Louisiana Opal (and some really cool specimens and spheres too)

This shop surprised completely surprised me! The variety was AMAZING and the prices were even better! There was so much to look at that it probably took me an hour or more to look at everything! When I finally took my basket up to pay and I was given the total, I was shocked! I'd spent FAR less than I'd expected! Always a pleasant feeling! The customer service was awesome. I didn't feel pressured or annoyed at any time. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked back out. The shop also has tons of jewelry, but the style just didn't fit me. I was far happier with all the stones and crystals. Unfortunately, they don't sell online, so I'll just have to make another trip to NOLA sometime soon!

Amazing selection and great prices. If you love crystals, this is the place to be. They carry both loose stones and jewelry, everything from $2 bracelets to $5000 solid lapis obelisks. Once, I brought in a ring with a loose setting. They repaired it so well! Not only does the stone stay put, but I can't even see where the break and repair was. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Amazing store. I love gemstones, and walking into this store is a gem lover's dream. So many unusual and rare stones (loose and set) you don't see in normal jewelry stores. Not to mention that prices on some of them are below average when you look them up at other stores. Plus, they'll resize your ring if it doesn't fit. Can't wait to go there again.

This was the best crystal shop I came across when in NOLA. The selection of stones was amazing but the price was even better. Tumbled stones at $2 each to bigger stones for $5 and $10. I found the price affordable. What I also lmoved about this shop is the aura of the attendants. Each one of them had such positive energies that I felt happy just being there and interacting with them. A must visit when you're in French Quarter.

Wonderfully helpful, and nice staff. It's a small store, so I don't recommend taking in a stroller of any size or anything else like that. Otherwise you won't be able to get much farther than the door, which would be a shame. It is filled with stones and other items. Take your time when looking, because you may miss something.

Very, very cool jewelry store. Tons of loose stones, unique pieces and very reasonable prices. My wife and I have made visiting the lapidary a regular occurrence whenever we are in New Orleans. My wife is a huge pearl junky and there is a selection of pearls here that rivals and destroys the available collection of any other store I've been to. The owner ( I think) is very kind and is willing to deal on the prices of certain pieces. They have an amazing selection of locally made pieces ( we've bought a very large tarantula broach/neclace here, multiple large and extremely well made stands of baroque pearls, amongst other things) as well as loose stones of all price ranges. Truly a very cool and unique place that is kost definitely worth the look!

This shop has a great combination of gems, jewelry, spiritual supplies, and oddities. The spiritual supplies are the slimmest pickings, but they have a few things I haven't seen at other shops, like animal tails and pelts. A bit pricey, but nothing out of the ordinary for a shop of this type.

They are extreamly good at what they do, it has been a "Old New Orleans owned" business for a good long while.. They have a incredible selection for All. I would say they only have Quality. Take time and really look around, Google minerals you don't know. From Louisiana Opals, to Tanzenite... from Africa! 10 times rarer than a diamond. Precious and Top rated semi precious cut stones. If your looking for a special ring, that is unique, that will always have what it has already ... consider the New Orleans factor.. just saying.. Beyond phenomenal jewelry selection. Perfect specimens. Rare minerals and crystals. Yes they do have a wide selection of Common affordable stones, minerals and crystals.

Allen and everyone that works there are wonderful. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They added a gemstone to my wedding ring for my 25 th anniversary. When we went in to pick it up they had a bottle of champagne waiting for us. ( chilled with glasses) I have recommended them to friends and family. I trusted them with my 1840-1860’s silver chatelaine. They made very subtle repairs and did not damage it in any way. Amazing. No jeweler in San Diego would touch it. I will be picking up a silver mesh 1920’s handbag in a couple weeks. I left it with them to be fixed. These are family heirlooms. I would not trust anyone else with them. We buy pieces from them every year during Mardi Gras. They have a beautiful selection of glass beads. Perfect as a gift for Mardi Gras. I love this shop, and everyone that works there. 💖

Do yourself a favor and go chat up the nice ladies that are always in the gem shop. They have some amazing stones and crystals. Also they sell sage, sweet grass, and Paulo santo wood. These are all great for cleanse of bad energy, or bad smell in your dwelling.

We found some smiling and very kind ladies at the horseshoe-shaped counter, with an impeccable professionalism, equal to that of the owner. They gave us baskets where we could lay stones and bracelets. A well-stocked place with stones of every quality. From affordable to less. We bought some colored stones (my children), and two beautiful bracelets, one of pearls and one of coral (me). Objects that I will jealously keep in memory of these kind people, of this laughing city and of our journey. Invitation to enter! Ci hanno dato dei cestini dove poter adagiare pietre e braccialetti. Un luogo fornitissimo e con pietre di ogni qualità. Da quelle abbordabili a quelle meno.
