A+ repair! I took my soon to be wife's antique wedding ring here to replace a lost stone. This silver ring was over 200 years old, and was missing one of the five foil backed garnets. The ring had no material value, but it's age and the fact that this is what I proposed to her with made it very special to us. I made it clear that I didn't want the ring cleaned up or made to look new, and that I simply wanted a replacement foil backed garnet. John Fish Jewelers assured me that they could handle the job, and roughly 10 days later called to say the stone was replaced and it was ready for pickup. The work required a lapidary to custom cut a garnet from a similar color sample, apply the foil backing, and then re-set the new stone in the ring. As promised, the ring looks amazing, and we can't even tell which of the 5 garnets was the replacement. We're so happy with the repair! We even bought a fun and unique piece of estate jewelry from their display case while we were there. We will definitely be back!

I messaged the owner prior to coming in to inquire about pricing and he gave me the quote quickly, was very responsive and answered all my questions. I set up an appointment and when we got there, they said it would take an hour but they we're very quick and took only like 40 mins. Very happy with the service and they did really good at resizing my husband's ring.I recommend this place and this will be our go to for all our jewelry needs from now on.

I had a very pleasant experience here today! I walk by often and decided to pop in to have my wedding ring cleaned. They offered assistance immediately and also noticed the setting was loose, so they fixed that as well. I was helped with some other items and the staff a was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They had some beautiful items on display but you can also sift through a catalog of jewelry to order. I will be back to pick up my order in a few weeks :-)

I brought my wife’s wedding ring in to have a diamond replaced that had fallen out. They also went through and checked all of the other tines to make sure there weren’t any other loose diamonds. Finally found an extremely knowledgeable high end watch repairman. Was given a thorough estimate to fix my son's watch and went forward with the repair. The work was done on time and at the estimated price. A year's warranty gives me peace of mind. The staff is helpful and friendly; so much so that I had a new stone put in my wedding ring and a pendant made from the old diamond. Special thanks to Steve, Pedro and John! Yes the location can appear a bit questionable but this place is truly a hidden gem. Their jeweler is highly experienced and has never let me down. I have had simple work done such as a resizing and have also had a custom made hand crafted wedding ring done. No job is too small or too big for this guy, he took the same care of my everyday silver rings that he would with someone's heirloom jewelry.

These people are fantastic! A small, unassuming, but beautiful family-owned jewelry store in the commercial center. I went in on a Wednesday, brought many pieces of jewelry, mostly costume but some not, and Stephanie sat with me for 3 hours going through every piece I brought in as if each was as valuable as the next. I was incredibly impressed with the care taken to look in detail over every piece. All testing for gold & silver was done right in front of me, as well as the weighing of gold and silver. When I left Stephanie thanked ME for my patience, while I was leaving appreciative of THEIR patience. I couldn't trust people any more than I do those here at John Fish jewelers. I have lived in Vegas since 1995, and can't believe I didn't find them earlier!!

This is way more than a hidden gem.all I can say is wow the jewerly repair guy is a beast lol. I had my rings sized and cleaned perfect.and had many watches polished and look bran new now. And there prices are very cheap.i also had them order a bran new breitling leather band for my breitling and it came very quick and again very cheap price as well and they put the new band on my watch.i will never go any we're else for jeweler repair ever John fish for ever thanks guys.

I was very impressed when I visited John Fish Jewelers today to check the value of some old jewelry I had. I'm not very directionally savy so I needed to call for directions and John directed by lost soul FYI: this place is inside Commercial Center and right next to Tiffany Cleaners. I was the only customer in there on a Monday afternoon and John was so nice! We chatted for an hour about how I acquired some of the unique pieces and he weighed and tested authticity of the gold and diamonds. I turned some old ugly chains and rings into $435 and discovered I have an E grade diamond worth $3,400 =) WOW! I'm gonna hand on to that one. I would recommend this place to anyone buying or selling. Thanks John!

Outstanding customer service from beginning to end! I went in there to sell jewelry that I have not worn since my wedding 16 years ago. My marriage didn't last as long as the beauty of the jewlery, but despite not wearing it, it still represented a special hope to me and were more than just a piece of jewerly to me. I truly appreciate how Stephanie handled my jewlery, like an artist, not just examining every detail for it's value, but for it's beauty as well.
