My son and I like to visit from time to time to see what they have - customer service is great, and there are always some really cool finds for collectors young and old and price ranges low to higher. Last time my son got to hold a meteorite even though we didn’t buy it - they really are very kind and helpful!

I love to shop here for crystals and rocks, but I’m always so impressed by the staffs’ breadth and depth of knowledge on all collectors items. The store is welcoming and helpful. The selection of crystals is second to none that I’ve found in town and prices follow suit. Happy shopping!

It only took me once going to each of the coin shops in town to figure out that Central Iowa coin and bullion has the best prices (buying & selling) in town. Plus, they get in new interesting stuff all the time...and they price it much much cheaper than online! I haven't bought silver or gold from any other source in two years.

They close before 5:30 which is the listed close on the site and on the front door. I came today after a 30 min drive to see they were closed 45 minutes early. Just very inconvenient for people. We will see how there pricing is and i’ll update.

This was my first time at a shop of this niche. I felt a little apprehensive going in but that feeling quickly dissipated as I was approached and led to the area for jewelry. Being a first timer, I had several questions and each question was answered clearly. Jerry was very helpful in explaining his process of buying gold and silver jewelry. Although I came at the end of the day, Jerry was patient and did not rush or pressure me to make a decision. He wrote notes so that things were clear and there was no confusion which helped me a great deal. I took the information with me and came back to Central Iowa Coin & Bullion where I received excellent customer service and left a happy customer. I will certainly return and recommend this shop to a first timer or even the most experienced!

They were quite knowledgeable and when I traded in my scrap gold and silver. They gave me the scrap prices for it all. But the coolest things in there is the polished rocks, crystals, and geodes that are all different shapes, sizes, and colors for pretty pretty cheap prices. The old coins they have are pretty neat as well. Definitely will be going back if I get the chance to.

The ONLY shop in town that I will both buy and sell silver and gold. The Owner has always treated me with respect and appreciation for my business. The prices that I pay when I buy and the prices I recieve when I sell are always based on the Current Silver or Gold Market price. Premiums or commission varies depending on the current market. I have always found the Owner to be very fair with the tiny commission he earns. Way better to do business here than on eBay. They know coins quite well and have a cool selection of beautiful minerals.

I shop a lot so I know many of the owners and staff of the small stores around this area. I do not know of any other store where long time customers volunteer to help the owners just because they like to hang around the shop and help. That says a lot about the owners and the atmosphere. Family owned. Very knowledgable. A nice selection of coins, gold and silver currency and jewelry as well as rocks/minerals. I have seen the owner spend as much time with someone shopping for nickles as he would spend with someone buying gold bullion. They appreciate their customers and run their shop with integrity.

This is the best stamp store that I have been in over many years.With a huge selection you always find lots of great stamps to buy from foreign to usa. The owner on the stamp side is Jerry Sr. He is one of the most knowledgeable you will ever find.He is always smiling and very friendly. With a huge selection and very fairly priced you will never get a better buying experience. We shop here every week for jewelry and sometimes coins and silver. They have a lot of regular customers so they are obviously doing something right. We've gone to a couple of similar stores in the area but have found them to be more expensive and less friendly. The staff at Stamps n Stuff take time to answer questions about coins even if it doesn't seem that the customer will spend much money. That is good customer service when the people with $20 to spend are treated with the same respect as someone with a fat checkbook or high credit limit. It's family owned and they run their business with integrity.

Wow, one of the best stocked Coin, Stamp, and Currency stores I have ever seen. You will find what you are looking for here, need supplies, no problem they have anything you need. This is an awesome store to visit, just be prepared to spend some time shopping because the inventory is massive. This is a family owned business that really cares about their customers, you will be treated well here. I am not an experienced coin collector but Jerry treated me right when I brought in a silver dollar collection that I inherited. I visited other stores as well and none of them beat his offer. One of his other customers in the parking lot randomly came up and started praising Jerry for his fairness. They don’t wear masks in the store, but he gladly came out to the parking lot and did the whole deal on my tailgate, which I greatly appreciated.

I have passed this place for years while living in urbandale/clive, and I finally had the idea to stop by while I was out today. The only negative experience I had is that I had not actually taken the time to visit them sooner! Outside of immediately being greeted by their adorable shop dog, They have an amazing selection of minerals with information from the location and hands-down the best pricing I've seen in Iowa. The staff was friendly and informative, even when busy. I can't recommend them enough!

Went there today to buy a small amount of silver. I was met by a young man who informed that the silver I had been buying had been almost exhausted. I was specifically looking for that silver at $16 an ounce. Anyway he told me that the price of silver had dropped and that it was actually cheaper now. He could have just gone to the bucket with a $16 1 oz Bullion, but instead give me the lower price. I would have never known the difference. My opinion of this business just increased, greatly. I will probably work with them the rest of my life if everything stays the same. Trust is a very difficult thing to earn. They now have mine.
