I had a fantastic experience working with the jewelers here and I can’t recommend them enough! I had a custom necklace made a few months ago from family heirloom pieces as a gift for my sister’s wedding. They were so nice to work with and gave me really great advice on the piece. I came in with an idea of what I wanted and they really helped me tailor it to something beautiful and modern. Thank you! (P.S. my sister LOVES the necklace!!)

Would highly recommend. The staff is extremely kind and caring, they provide excellent customer service, as well as being a fair priced business. Got to work with a lady named Kathryn who helped me design my fiancés engagement ring without feeling pressed to make any sort of down payment until the design was finalized. There are other companies that will charge you for “hypothetical rings”, and it brought me a great deal of confidence to see that Worthington Jewelers did not. As far as price goes they’re certainly fair- didn’t feel over priced or pressed that “this is the best deal you’ll get anywhere” blah blah. They were honest and straightforward, which speaks volumes. They understand the weight behind expensive decisions and I never once felt like I was being pressured or being sold a sales pitch. It took a few weeks to get the engagement ring perfect and it was only when the design was finalized that I paid. I also had to go back and get the ring resized (it was a little too big) and it was absolutely free- again other places wanted $60-$80 for it to be resized. They also kept incredible communication with any and all updates of what was going on- when the ring had been made, shipped, stone set in place, etc. Would highly recommend working with Kathryn if you’re wanting something custom made. After having gone back to purchase wedding bands, and having the exact same excellent service, I have every intention to recommend Worthington Jewlers to anyone who is looking for an honest and genuinely caring business.

What a great experience! I came to window shop for an engagement ring, and next thing I knew I had bought the perfect ring, my fiancé can’t stop saying how it is just perfect. Kyle, the salesman I worked with, showed me 2 great options in my budget and wasn’t pushy at all. They made it so easy to come back in and get a new setting if my fiancé wanted. The best part, the ring was promised in 2 weeks, it only took about 5 days. Amazing service, great products.

I worked with Stephen the gemologist on finding an engagement ring. I had already done some research into color/cut/clarity, and I had an idea of the type of ring I wanted. Stephen did an amazing job reenforcing what I had learned; he even explained in even deeper detail how things such as the tiny inclusions are measured. He was really enthusiastic about finding the best diamond that fit my budget. Also if you’re ok with lab diamonds, you can get a very serious discount (compared to natural) for a very clean gemstone. In regards to the setting, I found a 3 stone demo ring I liked and asked about changing the size of the side stones. Stephen got out a box of various sized diamond and laid them out to help visualize how different sizes would look next to the gemstone we found. It was an amazing experience and I’m glad to have had someone so experienced know exactly what to do to get the result I wanted. I’ll also note I wasn’t pressured to go above my budget, he was very good at working within it. 10/10, will absolutely be going back again for the wedding bands

We thoroughly enjoyed the process working with Worthington Jewelers to take a family heirloom and repurpose it into both of our wedding bands. They balanced our wants/suggestions with a knowledge of what would look good and work the best. I do wish there wasn’t the middle man situation, since you talk with a salesman who then relays the information to the jewelry maker as opposed to the maker themselves. Regardless, we are very happy with the finished products, thought their pricing was fair, and were impressed they could meet the original deadline even with unexpected delays on our end. Would recommend!

We were able to incorporate family diamonds, find the perfect center stone, and design the perfect setting all within a budget that I stated up front. I've bought everything from estate jewelry to custom designing pieces for my wife. Everyone, including the owners Bob and Theresa, have helped me in some capacity. The staff at Worthington Jewelers, especially Eric and Tabitha, has gotten to know my wife and me so well that they are able to make suggestions especially for my wife. In several instances, they have saved me money by suggesting a different cut or size because it would be more flattering for her. And they were right. After a long confession of my deficiencies, and my just recognition of her chefly skills in the kitchen, green thumb in the garden, seamstress in the laundry, soft shoes on the dance floor, beauteousness under evening lights, maiding around the house, motherly nurturing of children, & playgirlishness in the bedroom, all in exchange for a smiling dumb old carpenter, it was time for me to tell my girlfriend “thank you” for 55 years of making it all work, by getting her something she never asked for but more than deserves, a special piece of jewelry that acknowledges my gratitude and gratefulness of all her abilities, staying power, and achievements. With that background , I met with Bob, the Owner of Worthington Jewelers, briefly expressed my wishes, and asked for his abbreviated Customer Orientation. Within a short period of time Bob showed me what I asked for in a diamond solitaire . I selected a yellow gold mount and said I’d be back from my bank iin two hours. I was .The perfect stone was set, all paperwork prepared, gemologist certification, appraisal, everything was ready, and perfect . I presented it to my girlfriend on her birthday and briefly returned to see Bob, who, in 45 minutes, had his Goldsmith resize it for a perfect fit. Start to finish, 24 hours ! I have never spent so much money, so quickly,, so willingly, so comfortably, and acceptingly in showing to most important person in my life , how much she is loved and appreciated. Bob’s participation took my celebration of love and gratitude to a whole new level of gratification, for which I shall be forever grateful . He’s a cut above! Grazie !

And, when you first walk in and are warmly greeted by everyone, including the owners, you will know why you are there and that you made the right choice. You will want to go back again and again for all your jewelry needs, especially after your first meeting with Eric. He is one in a million in the BEST way possible. My husband and I first started trusting Eric with my engagement ring, and have never looked back. He is our go-to in the jewelry industry. From my initial engagement ring to my now upgraded version, Eric has been by our sides throughout the process. He will leave no stone unturned to get you what you want, the way you want it, and trust me when you first put on that custom piece of jewelry that Eric made a reality for you, you will understand this review so much more. If you’re looking for a place to buy jewelry and you don’t want to feel like you’re at a car shop this is the place to go! I first have to say my boyfriend and I went to Jared to find my dream engagement ring and the experience was awful. Our sales rep was very pushy and judgmental and I left feeling dejected and overwhelmed. So when my boyfriend found Worthington Jewelers and read their reviews and we decided to try it out. We had the pleasure of working with Ashonty and she was amazing! She explained everything to us and didn’t judge us based on our budget. She asked me what I was looking for and found a huge selection that matched what I was hoping for, she patiently watched me try on like 15 rings and helped me determine which ring best fit me. She never once made me feel foolish for trying on the same ring multiple times. She didn’t make us feel bad for what we chose. When my boyfriend does pop the question (they also helped us keep our proposal a surprise, I have no idea when my ring will be finished being sized) we will be headed back to Worthington Jewelers to get our wedding bands! It was also nice that the owner came over to us and introduced himself. Just all and all a great experience. HIGHLY recommend.

Then I realized that, during the time I hadn't been able to wear the watch, the battery had died, so I asked for the battery to be replaced. While I was waiting for that, I looked in the cases and saw some of the most beautiful jewelry I've ever seen. She immediately began looking into what had happened before she called me, and now has the ball rolling. Until this we were genuine “five star review” customers of Worthington Jewelers from prior experience. That is what made this so shocking to me. However, Theresa has restored the image and impression we have carried of Worthington Jewelers from the first time we walked in the door. I want to make sure that I provide up to date information and reviews so that folks can see for themselves what is happening and make their own decisions. Also, if I can take the time to write a negative review, then I can certainly take the time to make sure folks know when the store steps up to the plate to make things right. Theresa – thank you. Truly. You don’t know how much it means to me that you called me, and that my wife will get this gift. *** I am a repeat customer of Worthington Jewelers, so I am shocked that I have to write this review. I went in just before Valentine’s Day with a request to have specific stones mounted in a yellow gold cross. Each stone was specific corresponding to a special month between my wife and I. I started working with Stephen on this. It was going to take some time which I understood. Stephen starts the process to see what needed to be done with regards to the setting, how it comes, replacing stones, etc. I was expecting and update within about a week (per Stephen) which did not come. I had to call to follow up. That led to a return call and a trip in to the store to inspect the parts. Several adjustments were needed (that is also expected in custom work for jewelry, so I was good with this). Once the revisions were decided I left the store expecting get an update within the next couple weeks at the very least. No dice. After almost a month of no contact I called and left a voicemail asking for an update. This was about two and a half weeks ago. I received no call. I made a return call and left another voicemail four days ago. I still have heard nothing from the store. I don't understand why none has taken the time to return my call, or why I'm clearly not important enough to them to take seriously. The piece I am having customized may not be a $10,000 piece of completely custom jewelry, but I am a customer. If they are not interested then at least tell me. If they are facing staffing shortages and are running behind and can't get to the work I understand that as well. I'm flexible. There are no words for the level of disappointment I feel over this. It took me a long time to come up with this idea, pick the stones that had the most meaning, and put the entire idea together. This is not easy for me to do for various reasons. This is something my wife will cherish due to the meaning behind it. She has been through several very tough years and I just wanted her to have something that would show how much I truly love her. I will still get this piece made somewhere. I just don't know where yet. Very disappointed.

My husband and I had a great experience picking out a new wedding set for me. We visited the store during a trunk sale while waiting for a sample set to come in. Our sales rep Devon, was able to find some beautiful rings fitting my perfect style but we still wanted to see the sample for very specific reasons. She said they would make sure the additional rings would be available to view with the sample. However, there was a miscommunication and the rings left with the designers. Devon was able to get the rings overnighted so we would be able to see all at once. She was so patient as I kept changing my mind and adjusting the style of two sets. We decided on the sample ring set and picked the perfect stone. She checked on the pick-up date and the jeweler had actually sent the real rings. Therefore, they only need to add my stone and my rings should be available the following week. This was the best service I have had in a very long time. She thought of every detail, and next week, I should have a beautiful set of new rings!

I have used Worthington Jewelers to have the occasional piece repaired and cleaned. Recently, while visiting the store to have a piece repaired, I had my teenaged daughter with me. The baskets of Estate pieces caught her eye & she had a great time going through them, picking out charms, etc. While my bracelet was being repaired, another Estate piece came in that caught the eye of one of the employees, Eric Flannagan. Eric observed that this necklace was similar to my bracelet that they were repairing & showed me the necklace, when I returned for my bracelet. It was the perfect compliment to my favorite bracelet!! This small gesture of personal attention is, I believe, the cornerstone of what sets this place apart from other jewelry stores. And of course, while I was trying on my new necklace, Eric ( and another very nice young lady, whose name I did not get) spent a lot of time with my daughter. They showed her not only the pieces that were in the Estate baskets….. they brought out pieces that hadn’t even been priced yet!!! We all stood there together, sifting through jewelry, & picking out pieces we each liked. It was like a silver jewelry treasure hunt!! It was really fun! I did not buy my ring from Worthington Jewelers but the place I did, didn't do resizing. So when looking for somewhere that did I based it off of two things: if the resizing would be done in house, and pricing. I called a couple of places around Columbus and found some that did in house work but their pricing was way too much for my liking. Worthington Jewelers resized my platinum engagement ring for a reasonable price for excellent work! Another great part was that it was done in a timely manner, so I didn't have to go long without my ring! Didn't think that I would have to go back anytime soon but of course life happens, and one of my prongs bent after smashing my hand on accident while moving. I called them as soon as I saw that my diamond was loose and got a pricing for it. They gave me a couple of scenarios as to how they would repair after inspection of the ring and the pricing of each one. Great part, once again, pricing was great! I received my ring back a couple days after taking it in with it looking good as new. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Any time I go in I am always greeted with a smile and receive the best customer service. If you're looking for a jewelry shop that does all in house work with great pricing, wonderful work, and amazing service, this is definitely the place to go!!!

I took my wedding rings in to get an updated appraisal for insurance. I called the day before I went in and was told the appraisal would take a week, but after I went in they said the appraisal wouldn’t be ready for 3 or 4 weeks and this is one of the reasons I’m not giving a 5 star rating. My rings were cleaned very nicely & I received my appraisal when I picked up and paid for the appraisal. The cost of the appraisal wasn’t the highest quote I received, but wasn’t the lowest either. Some of the staff could use a refresher in customer service on how to treat and welcome you for your business. My first encounter when I went in wasn’t very pleasant. They were a little more welcoming when they were taking my payment for their services.

Great local jeweler in Worthington! After a co-worker recommended Worthington Jewelers, my fiancé and I visited them to get my great grandmother's wedding set (80+ year old set) unsoldered. I cannot emphasis this enough: I was very hesitant in leaving this family heirloom with strangers!! We were quoted one week for the unsoldering work, but it was completed and ready for pick up in two days. I'm still in awe at these rings! They look brand new! Today wasn't my first amazing experience with Worthington Jewelers, and I'm sure it won't be my last, but how I was taken care of today is indicative of a culture and service level that is simply best in class. My anniversary is Friday; my wife and I leave on a trip tomorrow morning. I had ordered a piece of jewelry for her to surprise her on our trip. I was unaware that the store was closed on Monday, so I was unable to pick up this ring as planned. I emailed Eric, letting him know I would be in next week to pick it up. When they didn't answer, Eric contacted the goldsmith who was working in the building to see if he could get me in the building. Upon entering, Devon warmly welcomed us and offered her assistance for any help we might need during our visit. We browsed for awhile and ended up being assisted by Kathryn. Purchasing a diamond that is ethically-sourced and conflict-free is very important to me. I was pleased to learn that their diamonds are responsibly sourced. Furthermore, you even have the option of requesting a diamond from a Canadian diamond mine. Towards the end of our visit we were introduced to the owners, Bob and Theresa. They were very warm and friendly. After we finished looking at engagement rings, Bob took the time to engage with us as we browsed the estate jewelry. I learned some neat facts about other precious stones from him. It's obvious that this is a store run by people who care about and are invested in what they do. The best part of our visit? This place is dog friendly, and we were able to bring our beloved Border Collie with us to share this special step in our relationship. I brought an antique ring passed down to me by my grandmother in to be resized. I had previously been denied service at Jared's since I didn't know if the stones were diamonds or not, and they wouldn't take on the liability. The Worthington Jeweler's sales associate helped point out that there was a broken prong that needed repaired, along with re-tipping. I asked if she could tell me anything about the ring characteristics since it was over a 100 years old, and the original owner since long gone. She took the time to review it with the gemologist and let me know the cut, stone type, etc. It's a very sentimental ring, and even though I knew it was being left in good hands, it was hard to part with it. When I picked it up from repairs (which only took a couple business days), it was absolutely stunning. They did such a great job, and the customer service was absolutely unmatched. I am so happy that the ring now fits comfortably and the stones are secured so I can one day pass it on as it was passed to me.

I went to Worthington Jewelers on the recommendations of friends, Yelp, and the fact that they were open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. I was very impressed! I had just lost a small diamond out of my wedding ring at the gym and I showed up basically in running clothes. I was treated just as well as if I was wearing work attire. William said no problem, gave me an estimate on cost and time frame (a week), didn't rush me and we had a nice chat. The work was done TWO DAYS later. The price was more than fair AND they gave me a very nice discount (coupon that went out to regular customers but being new I wasn't on the mailing list yet). I also had a bracelet I had received as a baby put on a new chain so that I can wear it now as an adult. William gave me a lot of options and when I didn't like any of them, he said he'd order something more "my style." He guessed and let me tell you, he guessed perfectly! Everyone that I have encountered her is very pleasant and I would recommend them to anyone. It's a bit of a drive for me living on the East side but I'm totally sold. One satisfied customer here!

I stopped at this jewelers to get my engagement ring examined. It is an estate ring--it belonged to my fiance's great-grandmother--and one of the stones was loose. Worthington Jewelers brought to life the full breadth and depth of their capabilities when designing mine and my wife's wedding rings. From scratch, from our drawings and inspiration, they crafted the beautiful art we now wear each day. Being a Material Engineer, the metals used and the construction were paramount. The artisian jeweler we worked with discussed on the level we expected the science and the structure, while not losing focus of our ultimate goal of a symbol of our marriage. I should also mention that prior to our wedding rings, I had the opportunity to custom build, with much Worthington Jeweler help, an engagement ring for my wife. Knowing very nearly the stone I wanted, a selection of potential options was brought before me, each with it's own unique character. Some were smaller, some larger, some with less or more quality characteristics. This singular act showed me that is was not just about getting the biggest, highest quality, most expensive, but really finding that perfect fit of look, quality, and affordability. In the end I chose a stone somewhere in the middle in size, but higher in quality. The stone was set, sized, and mailed to me, since I lived out of state at that time. Everything was beautiful, but I realized quickly that due to my wife's very small size ~2.75, that the stone setting wasn't quite right. I contact Worthington and they immediately worked with me to get the ring back to them, have it corrected. They were able to help me with this extremely tight timing as I was planning to propose that next week. As a wrap-up to the little story, my wife and I are very happy with both the engagement ring and the two wedding rings, happily married for nearly 7 years. We know that jewelry is expensive and should be personal, so when we chose to get, or make!, something special, we will always go to Worthington Jewelers.

We bought my engagement ring and band set from Rick, then came back and worked with Lori/Tabitha for my fiancé’s wedding band. I got discouraged by the service we got from other jewelers, but everyone at Worthington went above and beyond to get us exactly what we wanted. The band my fiancé wanted ended up not being possible, but Lori did a lot of research to try and find it. We found something else that worked well. Their overall selection is fantastic, especially for me not wanted the typical halo style ring that seems to be popular right now. Their maintenance plan is great, I could even just stop in for a quick cleaning no appointment which was very nice. We are very pleased, and can’t wait to work with them again in the future.

Great customer service! I came in to have an engagement ring resized. It was bought at a size 7 and I needed a 5.25! Guess I had smaller hands than I figured! Anyway, I was greeted with great service from the moment of walking into the store. When I wasn't sure of my ring size, the associate helped me choose one that made since for me, even allowing me to try on her ring to test the size. After I decided on the correct size and everything was put into lace I was told it would be able a week. To my surprise I had a phone call 2 days later! A few months later the black diamond solitaire actually cracked across the top from a natural inclusion. It was the most upsetting day for both my fiancée and myself. I bought my wife's engagement ring here, and we both bought our wedding rings here. When my wife pointed out an engagement and wedding band set she really liked at Worthington Jewelers after visits to several other jewelers in the area, I came in the following Monday to place the order. We were leaving for a trip to visit her brothers in China, and I planned to propose to her on the Great Wall. They told me it could take around two weeks for the ring to come back and for them to set the gem in it, and since we were leaving in three I was naturally concerned for delays and whatnot. The saleswoman I worked with told me that since the diamond I was buying was already set in another, simpler band they had, they'd let me take that to China to get engaged and we could then just bring it back to have the diamond set in her actual ring. Fortunately it never came to that, but that level of service and trust in a relatively complete stranger sold me on buying the ring right then and there. Move ahead a few months and we're buying her matching band, as well as my band. We were too late for their spring sale, and too early for their fall sale, but since we ended up buying all three rings through them they let us use the fall sale, which was 50% off the lower priced ring. I cannot say enough good things about this jeweler. They were kind, took their time with us, and went above and beyond what I'd consider good customer service. I'll absolutely be returning to them for future jewelry purchases.

We went to Worthington Jewelers for our wedding bands after having the most unpleasant experience for the engagement ring at Andrews Jewelers a few years ago. We met with Lori (I believe) blonde hair, bright blue eyes and vey bubbly (I'm terrible with names). She was absolutely amazing. She spent a lot of time with us the first time we were just browsing in February and then we went back in July to figure out a plan for wedding bands. I had a custom made engagement ring with an infinity type band and it was immediately complex what we should do for a wedding band. We discussed mounting the diamond to a new ring and band altogether and several other options. Needless to say, she and her associate were extremely patient and not annoyed that we spent 3 hours in there with them working through some quite thoughtful complex ring options. She brought numerous options to the table with figures of cost and let us decide what would be the most desirable and cost effective option. She helped design my wedding band with our input and we went with 2 separate shadow bands custom made from the wax mold of my engagement ring. The process was due to take up until September 1st to be complete and done (6 weeks) as it was complex and required time knowing they would be available only 6 days before we departed for our wedding location; however, I was shocked to recieve a phone call on August 19th saying they were completed and ready for pick up with appraisals done and all. We were absolutely thrilled! When we got there and I tried the bands on with engagement ring, it was stunning and of utmost quality. They under promised and over delivered. Exceptional service, exceptional staff, exceptional timeliness and exceptional quality. I would recommend to anyone!

In the past I have uses Worthington Jewelers for ring sizings, a necklace repair etc. and I was never disappointed. This time I brought them a broken beaded necklace that had belonged to my husband's mother. It was very old had an unusual clasp so I wanted to see if it could be repaired. As usual I was met by a most pleasant and knowledgeable associate and she helped me with my project. We both realized that there was no value in the piece itself, only in what it meant to my husband, but she worked on it as though it was worth a fortune to match very old beads with new ones and it turned out beautifully. Wonderful experience! In a day and age when honesty and good work seems in short supply, i took my wedding ring in to be fixed as my diamond was lose. They said they would need to check if the sodder was lead or gold and it would take about a week. If it was lead they would not be able to fix it, basically meaning i would need a new ring. They called in a couple days and said it was ready, they were able to repair it. Saved me alot of money. They will have my business in future and i will recommend them to others. I have had a couple of things designed at Worthington Jewelers for me. I bought a gold signet ring in Florence, Italy in 2010 and the jeweler designed a cross with the Holy Spirit upon it and applied it to the top of my ring. This is my religious ring as I have just retired as a Catholic priest from active parish administration. The other item that was made for me was from my parishioners, and it was to celebrate my 4oth anniversary of my ordination in 2013. It was a flat gold medallion with a double bar lines forming a cross and with a chalice and three loaves of bread applied to the center of the cross. The designed was taken from my ordination invitation, which I designed 43 years ago. I have had other items repaired there and I am happy with their work. Fr. Charlie

I was helped by annie. She walked me around the store and showed me everything. It was fun and I learned some interesting things about gemstones from her. I ended up with an amethyst ring to wear now and a purple garnet to save for myself as a christmas gift. (So my husband doesnt get mad that I went overboard and got 2 today) she even wrapped it up for me. I will be returning definitely.
