If you’re in the market for a great experience from even greater people look no further than Alexander’s Jewelers. I stopped in to simply take a look around while on vacation in Columbus. I came back from Indy just a few weeks later and I left as lifelong customer and feeling like a part of the family. Shane was incredibly kind and helpful as we talked watches and wedding rings. He answered any questions I had and gave me thoughtful insight into different materials for my wedding band. Shane helped me put together my dream wedding band, as well as get my fiancé a beautiful gift to bring back from our friends at Alexander’s Jewelers. It's difficult to find someone with Shane, Alex and their staff's experience and knowledge. It's even harder to find someone who will share their knowledge so you can make the best informed decision, and purchase. Alexander’s is an amazing jewelry and watch store. They truly have something for everyone. I am blown away with the level of customer service they showed me. If your wanting to find a watch and jewelry store to build a relationship with, Alexander’s is the place. If your a watch enthusiast you need to stop in and check out the collection. They have a nice selection of Rolex, Omega, Panerai, Cartier, and a ton of other brands. They even have a nice selection of vintage pieces. Last time I was in, a vintage Omega Seamaster, and Omega Constellation caught my eye. I’ve mentioned expensive brands however they also carry great entry level watch brands like Tissot and Ball. It’s a truly incredible place, and leaves you feeling inspired. Go check it out!

Gabriele's service level was excellent. Highly recommend her and Alexanders Jewelers. If you are looking for a watch that's a little different than the typical brands, check out Muhle Glashutte out of Germany. Alexanders is an authorized dealer and I'm loving my 29er!

From the moment I entered Alexanders Jewelers, I felt genuinely welcome. Shane asked me about my car since I parked in front of the store. We’re both car guys. Once he ascertained my interest in watches, he introduced me to Alex, the owner. What a knowledgeable and personable man. He asked about the watches I had researched online. He said my first selection was a watch from the 80’s and wasn’t the best choice for a novice watch guy. #2 on my list was an historical limited edition and an excellent watch, but completely different from my #3 a bright yellow dial and yellow rubber band from Porsche Design. After a very interesting discussion with Alex, I bought the Porsche watch. As a former Porsche 911 owner, it just grabbed me. (It wasn’t the most expensive choice, but there was no upsell push at all!) This is such a first class operation that it’s a 5 star for sure! Shane even fed the parking meter I missed so I wouldn’t get a ticket! That’s customer service above and beyond.

The process of buying a watch can oftentimes be intimidating and frustrating at most retail outlets--especially today where inventory levels are either poor or non-existent. And while others might prefer to purchase a watch on line, my desire is to actually be able to touch and inspect what I am buying and ensure that it is exactly what I want before i buy. I am not one that typically writes reviews. But the service I received from Alexander Jewelers was beyond outstanding as was the watch I bought. First the watch was priced incorrectly on their website and they honored the incorrect much lower price. Second the watch didn't fit so they paid for overnight shipping back to them. Then they split the cost of the 4 links I needed, which they didn't have to do. Then they overnighted the watch back to me. I will only buy from them going forward. They are my Jeweler and they are in Ohio and I am in New Jersey. BRAVO Well DONE!

Such a positive experience over the past year working with Alexanders. After having a negative experience with custom jewelry at another Columbus jeweler, I went to Alexanders to see how they could help fix the custom engagement ring I had made elsewhere. Gabrielle and Shane worked with us and got us exactly what we wanted at an affordable price. That experience was just the start of a great year long customer relationship. We went back to Shane to help with a Mangalsutra, an elaborate Indian necklace, and Shane worked with us to customize a beautiful and modern necklace. This was his first time making such a unique necklace and he was patient, open minded, and brought his incredibly creative jeweler mind to help make something we could never have imagined ourselves. We used my grandmothers diamond in the necklace and Shane worked with us to replace my grandmothers ring with a new sapphire stone, and had the brilliance to refinish the gold ring itself to really make it look new. That ring was given back to my mother, with a new stone, and completely refinished. It was also beautiful. Overall, Shane and the team at Alexanders are wonderful. They put the customer first, are always open minded, and the communication never lacked. I can not recommend them enough and thank the entire team for making 3 lovely custom pieces for us.

To change a battery for quartz watch is $20, which is a bit more expensive than most places. I did ask a few questions regarding my watch and they tested to see what the stone is on another piece of jewelry I brought in. I considered the $20 as a price for all that service included. Probably won't go there for a battery change though ;) The person was nice for doing all that but I didn't actually feel very welcomed considering all those high ratings talking about how friendly they are.

My experience with Alexander's was truly second to none. As a queer woman buying an engagement ring for her girlfriend, I was terrified that I would face discrimination during an experience that is supposed to be happy and fun! I had even considered just buying a ring online to avoid an awkward encounter... Ultimately, I picked Alexander's due to one small review here saying they were LGBTQ friendly and I'm SO happy I did. From the moment I stepped in the door, Gabriele and the rest of the employees made me feel extremely welcome! She was incredibly supportive of my relationship and asked a bunch of questions about my now fiance, making me feel at ease and truly cared for. This is something I didn't expect or receive from any of the other jewelers I went to. After purchasing the ring, Gabriele texted me to check on how my plans for the proposal were coming along and she was even one of the first to know that my girlfriend said YES! After this experience I don't think I'll go to another jeweler again!! They are AMAZING. Thank you again, Alexander's and Gabriele!!!

I had an amazing experience at this jeweler after months of frustration. For quite some time, I searched for someone to help me find a setting for a loose diamond I owned. Believe it or not, this is not as easy as it sounds. The place I began my search with, located in Toledo, decided to not return my calls at all. Another in Columbus never followed up on a message I left inquiring about their services. I began to search around and read reviews about other jewelers in Columbus. The amount of great reviews is what honestly lead me to Alexander's Jewelers, and I will say they did not disappoint! I work nights, so I left a message detailing what I was looking for in a setting for my diamond. Within 12 hours I received a response. I was invited into the store to meet with Gabrielle the same day. She was prepared on all fronts to help me find what I was looking for. After some time, we arrived at the conclusion that what I wanted needed to be custom made. Gabrielle had a setting made for me that was exactly what I wanted all along. The customer service was top notch, she kept me updated on the progress periodically and even provided a mock up of what my ring would look like. When the setting arrived, I provided the stone, and the ring was made same day. It looked amazing and was everything my fiancee and I were looking for. My simple advice to those looking around, customer service matters! Alexander's will give you exactly what you want. They will not push something on you or ignore your ideas. I will definitely return for the wedding ring.

I am giving this place 5 stars because of their quality and more importantly their service. I have bought an engagement ring, a wedding band and a matching 5 year anniversary band. The reason I keep going back is because of the service I recieved from their staff and Shane the year I was overseas. I was overseas for an entire year as a service member in Korea. My 5 year anniversary was coming up and I knew I wanted to add a band to her ring. I emailed the store seeing if they had my previous purchases on record because I forgot the ring size and other elements. Shane responded to my email (the same day) and found everything! I told him that I wanted the exact same thing as my wife's wedding band and was curious if he could do me a favor and ensure its prompt delivery on our anniversary date since I would not be there. Shane had the ring ordered and ready to go months in advanced and made it so easy when my plans changed and I was able to come home and be able to pick up the ring myself. It was exactly what I expected as an identically matched ring to the wedding band. When I went to pick up the ring, I was shocked that when I told a coworker of Shane's my name to pick up the ring, Shane immediately recognized my name (even though it was over several months and he had never met me) and said "welcome home!" I was stunned as he didn't know me and we chatted. As we were chatting I noticed a calendar with to do's on the wall. It caught my eye because I thought I saw my name, which I did. It was Shane's reminder to overnight my ring to my wife! He then said "he refused to let something this special to fall through" and he then showed me a couple more reminder notes he saved to ensure that my wife would get her ring on time and preserve the romantic gesture I intended. I was a little worried that it could have been messed up originally, but after meeting Shane and still receiving the quality at an afford price, I know I will never shop anywhere else for my wife's diamonds or jewelry. This is the exact American Dream store built on respecting the customers and building relationships instead of their pockets. Couldn't have been happier with how my experience went. I love this store.
