The best jeweler ever!! My (now) husband worked with Garry to design all the jewelry for our wedding. I get compliments daily on how stunning my engagement and wedding bands are. Although we live in Florida, we use Windy City Diamonds because of their quality work and excellent prices. Plus they make the design process very easy by sending design options and mock-ups via email. Highly recommend!!

Two years ago my fiancé gave me a custom ring that was created by Denise Boksa at Windy City Diamonds. It is beautiful. Over the past few months I worked with Denise to create the perfect ring to give to him. We came up with a white gold x1, blue enamel and stunning diamonds. Two years to the day I presented my fiancé with this stunning ring from Windy City Diamonds. He was so happy and stunned. We both had such a great experience working with Denise and could not be more happy with the rings we have.

I went to Windy City Diamonds to look at engagement rings after trying another store in Chicago and also looking online (I initially thought I would end up buying online). I worked with Komal and told her what I was looking for in terms of style, size, and price, and we found the absolute perfect diamond and came out with a beautiful ring. I worked with Jasmin when I came in for an engagement ring. I brought a friend because I did not know much about purchasing diamond rings - please do your research ahead of time. Jasmin was great at helping me understand the difference in clarity, cut, and shape of the diamonds, and the bands themselves. He spoke to their practical features and how the ring would look from a 3D rendering. I was impressed when I picked up the beautiful ring. Jasmin provided a nice bottle of wine in addition to celebrate. I would definitely recommend Jasmin's services when shopping for your engagement ring

Love this place. I worked with Komal Dagaria when I was shopping for my fiance's engagement ring in 2020 and she was absolutely fantastic to work with. I knew nothing about diamonds, nothing about band materials, etc. and she took her time giving me an education on the Cs of diamonds, what to look for and helped choose one. I actually still have her written notes from my first appointment with her. She also was a huge help in every step of designing the ring that I ultimately had made. I would highly recommend Windy City Diamonds, but Komal in particular. She was not pushy or aggressive like you sometimes will find in sales people, a total joy to work with.

Learning about the different cuts, clarity of stones, etc can be a lot to process while also hoping the ring you are creating fits your fiancée’s style. Our experience with Windy City Diamonds couldn’t have been better. I can not recommend Windycity Diamonds enough! I worked with Denise exclusively to find the perfect engagement ring. During the first meeting she did an excellent job of explaining the diamond market. She has done this for a long time and is very knowledgeable. Words cannot describe what an amazing experience we had with Rose!!! I couldn't make up my mind on the diamond shape or band details, changed the ring four times during production and twice after the first diamond purchase. Komal was a wonderful specialist. She was very knowledgeable and charismatic, making the ring buying process easier without compromising on quality. Of course, do your research before going into the shop, but if you don't then she or a co-worker will guide you along the right path. As a man who knows nothing about rings I went to a few places in Chicago before landing at Windy City Diamonds and I wish I would have came here first! Victor is the best! My partner and I visited in December going in with so much trepidation and then Victor turned it around and we left the store very confident that we made the right decision to get our rings from Windy City Diamonds. A little background, my partner and I do not like wearing jewelry and have zero knowledge about rings. For our wedding bands, we only knew that we wanted them not to be thick. I was fortunate enough to already have a diamond when searching for an engagement ring and went to WCD to ask for a few ideas as to how to set it. There was no pressure from them and Victor seemed very happy to talk me through a lot of jewelry basics whilst I tried to understand how it all works! By the end of our chat, we'd gone through all sorts of options - including showing me a load of different diamonds so I could make sure I was happy with the one I'd got. In the end, he helped me decide on setting that I thought my fiancée would like and sent me off with the promise that if we had to swap it, then we'd be able to credit the whole cost of the first ring towards the second. I left fairly pleased that I'd chosen a beautiful ring and confident that even if I'd got it wrong, it wasn't a disaster. Sure enough, despite all Victor's help in selecting the ring I was after, I still managed to choose the wrong style! But none of that blame can be apportioned to anyone but me as it turns out I'd remembered all the wrong parts of the hints I'd be given! My fiancée and I returned together to choose a new setting that she was happier with and poor Victor had to go through the basics with her too, although significantly less basic info than when I'd first shown up! In the end, we ended up tweaking one of his existing designs and then he rushed the production through so that we'd have the ring in time for visiting family at Christmas. The results are great and we're both thrilled second time around! Sad that we have to wait a few months to head back to Windy City for our wedding bands - I really enjoyed my time spent in there!

I purchased an engagement ring through another jeweler which made finding a band a little trickier, but Victor approached the challenge with confidence, listening to my fiancée’s preference and tastes to find a ring that she’d really love. Denise was able to customise the ideal ring with us in patience when we couldn't decide on what it is and even when we took a 180" turn on the previous design. I read so many glowing reviews of Windy City Diamonds, I found it hard to believe the hype...until I met Victor Gomez that is. I am compelled to join the very long list of fans. Let me explain. My husband is absolutely averse to in person shopping. He bought me a very nice channel set solitaire from an online diamond seller. I wish now, that we had purchased from Windy City. Shortly before we married, he asked if I wanted the matching wedding ring (channel set) or a plain band. Any self respecting woman would speak right up for the diamonds. A couple of days before we ran off to California to elope the ring showed up. I didn't love it. It just didn't work. I called the online jeweler and they were very nice and were happy to let me return it. They didn't really want to create the custom eternity band I had my heart set on but said they would try but that it would be a non-returnable custom order. It just didn't sit well and they quoted a hefty price. I made my husband a deal. I would find what I wanted and he wouldn't have to be present (I'm not totally nuts, I did let him pay). That's when I met Victor. I showed him the ring, told him what I didn't like and he was ever so patient. Victor made wonderful suggestions, gave me a price and did not push me to do anything right then and there. I called Victor the next day and said, "let's do it". The result is absolutely stunning! Victor called to tell me it was ready and gave me the price which was exactly as he had originally estimated. I told him I was out of town. No worries. Today my ring arrived as promised and gorgeous. I have another little project...a family diamond that I want to reset. Guess who I'll be calling? Victor get ready, we're going to create a pendant together. As an aside, many years ago my now husband was in the market for an engagement ring. He had such terrible experiences with other nearby jewelers that he wanted to avoid Jeweler's Row like the plague. I really wish I could give them a 5 star rating but I did run into conflicts when we worked on my wedding band. I didn’t appreciate that Denise didn’t own up to her mistakes nor apologize for them instead put the fault on my husband and I. HOWEVER, I will give credit where it’s due and have to say that I will forever now choose a small jeweler over any Big box jeweler. I first got rings at Zales and right away diamonds fell off with me rarely wearing it. It was so bad to the point where we ended up returning everything and we came to Windy City Diamonds. During my visit to Chicago for my wife’s big award ceremony a week ago; I decided to walk down the magnificent mile to find something memorable to give to her as a gift. I stopped at this beautiful shop called Windy City Diamonds just a few blocks away from the Millennium Park. I was greeted by Victor Gomez, one of their sales associates, with a warm cup of coffee. It was great because the temperature outside was around 10 degrees. I told him what I had in mind and what my budget was. He promptly started searching for the best gem. Not only that, he started asking questions to make sure he understood what I needed/wanted. He showed me several items and even though they were beautiful, none of them were what I was looking for. He did not give up there though and finally found two beautiful white gold diamond pendants placed in a 14K white gold chain I really liked. I could not decide which one to get. He knew I was having trouble deciding so he searched around and saw a nice lady that shared the same body and facial features as my wife, based on what I had told him during our search process, and asked her if she could wear the pendants so I could see them on an actual person. That did the trick. As soon as I saw the pendant on her neck I knew which one was the one my wife would love. I decided on the pendant with the princess cut, fitting for a princess. They wrapped the diamond and chain in a beautiful box with a lovely bow. Long story short, my beautiful wife loved the present! I received praise from all her co-workers whom where there to witness the award ceremony. I could not have done it if it wasn’t for Victor Gomez and the staff at Windy City Diamonds store. I was referred to WCD by a friend and after checking out their reviews I decided to make an appointment. I had been delaying buying an engagement ring because I just felt so overwhelmed with trying to figure out where to start. I knew nothing about engagement rings and felt like it would be more of a headache than anything else. After my first meeting with Komal, my worries were put at ease. She took time to explain everything there was to know about an engagement ring from the 4 C's to the band. After leaving the first appointment, I felt like an expert and was confident in my decision to trust her with one of the biggest purchases of my life. I came back a 2nd time to view some of the diamonds she had selected for me based on my preferences, but didn't feel like I had found the perfect one. Without hesitation, she hopped on the phone and was able to find something to fit my needs. I'll even admit that I did not make things easy on here as I ended up being pretty picky about what I wanted. Komal kept in communication with me and let me know when the diamond had arrived, when the band was going to be made, and had me come in for a final inspection. I was blown away, and needless to say, so was my now fiance. If you're worried about starting the engagement ring process - give Komal a call and let her take care of it. You won't regret it!
