If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! I came here a few days ago hoping to acquire my first watch and right when I walked in I was instantly impressed with how welcoming and friendly the staff here are. Kristy Wu is the BEST salesperson I’ve had the pleasure doing business with. She showed my girlfriend and I some outstanding watches and jewelry pieces; not to mention how knowledgeable she is with the pieces she showed us. I was lucky enough to have been able to buy my first timepiece here and we had such an excellent experience with Kristy Wu who had been so helpful and professional. This is definitely the place I’d recommend to anyone who is looking to buy luxury watches and jewelry pieces in Chicago. We look forward to coming back and purchasing more pieces in the future.

Great experiences every single time. First time I went in even got to meet Mr. Razny himself and was offered great advice for navigating the luxury watch world. Thomas has been great at finding amazing pieces for me, and beyond that, the helpful and friendly relationship makes shopping here worth it every time. The people at Razny were so helpful in helping me buy my first luxury watch. I had walked into their Oak Street store, and the employees treated me with such kindness and respect. I spoke to Rebecca, who made me feel like a regular even though I had never been there. Rebecca helped me pick out my first watch and told me the history, the fine details, and the heritage behind the brands. Unfortunately, they did not have the specific watch I wanted in stock, but Rebecca took down my information and gave me a call when the watch came in. Rebecca greeted me personally, did a box opening for me, sized it, offered me a drink, and congratulated me on my first watch. 10 out of 10, I am going back, and I highly recommend them.

Great experience with Kristy Wu who always takes care of me on any of my purchases. If you’re in the market for high end luxury jewelry or watches this is the place to go. All the staffs were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Luxury experience along with a great personal touch and kindness. As an watch enthusiast I must say the employees at east coast location are really knowledgeable in horology. I was assisted by smart Kristy who even inspired me for Patek and beyond. Just few days back I got some rose gold diamond jewelry and she helped me to assist with the right piece. She is very knowledgeable in different Diamond cuts, their scientific and industrial meanings. I am sure every customer at Razny feels very welcome unlike some other places who demotivates customer for high end timepieces as if they need to pick it from the moon. It was a pleasure doing business under the assistance of Kristy (the humble.and kind tall girl) with Razny. Looking forward to more soon. I cannot say enough great things about Razny. My fiance and I feel warmly welcomed every time we walk in. We work with Rebecca who has made every purchasing experience a joy! We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding a year, and the wedding band I had originally chosen was discontinued once we were ready to purchase the second time around. Rebecca worked closely with the designers to custom-create almost the exact same ring (but better, in my opinion!) so that I didn't have to choose something else after falling in love with my first choice. She made the experience wonderful and I could tell that she was just as excited to reveal the ring to us as I was to finally see it after going back and forth trying to find the ring after postponing the wedding. A year later and Razny's Gold Coast, and Kristy Wu specifically, has shot above and beyond what my expectations were for the family owned store. I would be remiss to not also note that seeing and cracking jokes with Officer Reyes is always a part of the experience. I proposed to my now fiancé with a beautiful engagement ring that Kristy helped me design and am in the process of picking out wedding bands. My knowledge of jewelry was completely elementary and Kristy was great about introducing me to Razny's offerings. She even recommended that I take a picture when the ring was ready, which I would have never thought to do - details like that mean a lot! The wedding band process is much easier with my fiancé leading the charge. I have also picked up two Rolexes in the last year. My impression of Razny's for watches still stands - despite being a mainstay authorized dealer for Rolex and Patek in Chicago, the folks at Razny's are straight shooters who treated me the same on my first visit as they treat me now with a few purchases under the belt.

My fiancé (now wife) and I walked into Razny’s back in August to meet with Julio in hopes of securing a submariner for our November wedding (my dream watch to commemorate the special day). Kristy D was my sales associate, and she was exceptional! With this level of purchase, I expect every question to be answered satisfactorily, and quite simply I expect a certain level of customer service. Kristy D excelled in everything: she was kind, assessed my needs as to what I was looking for, and then led me to the PERFECT watch/es that I may not had found with someone else. She did this with her gracious charm, while answering every question I peppered her with, and there were many. tl;dr: I didn't walk out with a purchase - but did cancel pending appointments with other jewelers and intend to funnel all my timepiece and jewelry purchases with Razny going forth. My mother recently passed down my grandfather's vintage Rolex to me - and my affinity for both him and this watch that I saw him wear daily for decades exposed me to the world of watches and specifically, Rolex. After months of research and talking to coworkers and friends already sucked into the dark hole of horology and watches - I identified the first Rolex that I wanted to purchase. I called Razny Gold Coast and was connected with Kristy Wu. Kristy spent half an hour chatting with me - listening to my story and introducing me to Razny's offerings (Rolex and Patek). We made an appointment for me to stop in and I did so that Saturday with my girlfriend. Kristy was with another client when I walked in - but Rebecca, the manager, greeted me and immediately struck up a conversation. When she heard about the specific watch I was looking for, she pulled up her sleeve and showed me that she was wearing it! She graciously let me put it on without hesitation. Her enthusiasm for the watch showed me that she was a true aficionado. Michael was also in the store and offered refreshments. We chatted and he told me a bit about his background. Once Kristy was finished with her client, she showed my girlfriend a few ladies' pieces and then took us upstairs where she introduced us to Razny's large collection of jewelry. When she found out we were Taiwanese, we started discussing our favorite restaurants around the city. Her sincerity and enthusiasm sealed the deal for my girlfriend and I. We didn't feel pressured at any point to purchase items - even after we admittedly told her we are both early in our careers. After walking out of the store, I told my girlfriend "I'm only going to go to Kristy going forth - she's either an expert saleswoman or genuinely somebody that I can see us hanging out with on weekends." The specific watch I am looking for is a highly sought after piece but Kristy assured me that they would do their best to keep an eye out for it. Looking forward to reporting back. Overall, I would highly recommend Razny. Don't be intimidated or deterred by their location in Gold Coast - a genuine and unpretentious team.

I've received somewhat cold responses from other dealers when asking about a specific sports model I was looking for. Not the case here. I visited the folks at Razny Jewelers on Oak Street in the Gold Coast this past week, and there is just something about their warmth, passion and incredible horological knowledge that sets them apart from all the other Chicago jewelers. Their extensive insight about the watch industry, and their willingness to get to know me as a fellow watch enthusiast, left an indelible impression. Location (Gold Coast): Upon entering the shop, one cannot help but notice the vast array of Patek Philippe watches adorning the left side of the store, and an equally stately assemblage of Rolex watches on the opposite side. It was a watch lovers paradise, with every inch of the store being immaculate and impressive. Additionally, I was surprised to find that the store has three floors: The second floor houses various products, including sophisticated watch winders and safes. But what really impressed me was that it contains two private viewing areas that allow customers to examine watches in total privacy, without having to deal with all the busy activity on the main floor. Both rooms were well furnished and tastefully decorated. It’s such a nice touch. Unfortunately, the third floor was closed due to repairs. So, I cannot comment on that. Staff: The team managing the Gold Coast location (Julio Rodriguez and Rebecca Daugherty, in particular) deserve their own review section, because they did nothing but make me feel at home. What’s more, it soon became apparent that the entire staff had a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of fine timepieces, and — despite being an authorized dealer for Patek Philippe and Rolex — they weren’t afraid to discuss other watch brands, which I found totally refreshing. At the same time, I was impressed by their lack of pretense. But what I valued most were the conversations. Even though they didn’t have the watch I was looking for during my visit, the Razny team still took the time to get to know me as a person. Never once did I feel pressured into buying something else, nor did they make me feel second-rate. In my observation, this treatment was further reflected in the other customers who walked into the store, many of whom were known to the staff on a first-name basis. Lasting thoughts: Overall, the Razny team is doing something special here in Chicago, and they’ve done an excellent job building a great community of new and repeat customers. Razny Jewelers Pros: Professional, Respectful, Customer Service Oriented Cons: None On Sunday May 28th 2017, I stopped by Razny Jewelers on 109 East Oak Street, Chicago, IL 60611 to window browse and shop for a new Rolex around 12:30 pm. Roberto the salesman greeted me and my son with a smile, and proceeded to provide me with excellent customer service as he showed me around the boutique. I was looking for a specific Rolex GMT Master II BLNR, which in most cities require your name be placed on a waiting list to obtain. While Roberto checked inventory in the safe, he introduced me to a gentleman who was sitting in the boutique who turned out to be Mr. Stan Razny, the owner of the jewelry store. Mr. Razny was not only very down-to-earth, but he went above and beyond for me in order to get the timepiece transferred from one of his other stores. Mr. Razny personally handled the logistics of getting the timepiece to the downtown store on a Sunday afternoon before the store closed for the Memorial Day holiday, so that I could have the timepiece sized and shipped to me overnight the following business day. I returned to the store at 3:00pm and Susan took care of sizing the watch for me as well as handling the sales transaction. Her attention to detail and willingness to handle and care for the watch exactly as I requested demonstrated the superior customer service that the employees of Razny Jewelers provide. On Tuesday morning, I received a text message from Roberto with the tracking number for the package that we due to arrive to me on Wednesday. Upon receiving the tracking number, I attempted to have the package held for will-call at the Fedex distribution center in my local area. Fedex customer service would not allow me to hold the package, so I again contacted Michelle at Razny’s Addison location, and she stayed on the line with me to ensure that Fedex would hold my package as I had requested. Another example of how the employees of Razny Jewelers went above and beyond to ensure that my experience from beginning to end was top notch. Upon receiving the package, it was bubble wrapped and protected just as I expected that an expensive timepiece should be handled. Razny Jewelers has earned a client for life, and I will refer all of my friends and family who are looking to purchase a Rolex or Patek to Razny’s.

I purchased a brand new SubC non date from out of town when I was on vacation recently. Stopped in here because I needed the bracelet adjusted and at the time my watch was still in mint shape out of the box with all the plastic protectors all over it. I called before I arrived and was told their watch maker would have no problem adjusting my strap. As soon as I walked in and spoke to Iryna, she called Matt (watchmaker) down, but when she inspected my watch and noticed all the plastic protectors on it, she started ripping it off my watch without even asking me before hand; I was so stunned at her actions that I was lost for words. Fortunately, Matt was down pretty quickly and I handed my watch over to him. I also told her and Matt that I preferred to take the protectors off on my own. I was still a little baffled by what had just happened, when she then told me that she was surprised that a Rolex store had sold it to me with all the plastic protectors on. This rubbed me the wrong way as I did not purchase from them, but went in for an adjustment. I could not believe how overly enthusiastic she was about ripping the scratch protective layer off my watch; as if it were her own purchase. She probably thought I was a gray market reseller looking to profit off of a mint watch. This completely ruined what would have been a great experience here for me. Matt on the other hand is completely down to earth and professional. I would definitely service my watch here in the future if he worked here but the experience with Iryna left me a little salty.

Rarely does one meet a Retailer as accommodating and professional as Michael Razny of Razny Jewelers on Oak St. in Chicago. I was visiting Chicago and had in my possession an exceedingly rare Patek Philippe watch. Needing a Certificate of Authenticity from Patek in Switzerland I stopped into his store to see if they could be of assistance in obtaining one. Not only did Michael express delight in seeing such a rare timepiece he had his certified watchmaker open the watch to obtain pertinent information for the application. He took several pictures and forwarded them to Switzerland with my application. When I offered to pay him for his services he politely declined any remuneration. Surprisingly due to his diligence I received the Certificate within 10 days instead of the normal time of 5 to 6 weeks. Thanks, E.

We were walking around and to be honest, almost every store on Oak street is out of our price range. We didn't thought we would find anything when we walked in.
