This has to be the best crystal shop in wicker park and probably the entire city!!! Very friendly staff and everything is nicely organized and inviting. Crystal bracelets are only 12$ and every piece you buy comes with an info card, that's amazing!! I love it here!

A fantastic place for all who love rocks, minerals, crystals, and fossils. Their collection is diverse and well sorted, and the staff are knowledgeable in all their wares. This place is just as welcoming for scientific rock hounds at it is spiritualists, which is a hard balance to find. Will certainly be coming back for more!

Stopped into Geology Rocks while I was in town visiting a friend and had some time to kill. Wandered the store for over an hour talking with Liz, the manager. She was super knowledgeable and helpful. Once she picked up on how much I know about minerals, she got excited to show off some of their coolest specimens. The quality was seriously impressive and I bought a bunch of little stuff and didn’t even break $75. Such reasonable prices! Had such a great experience, I want to visit their other locations. 10/10 would recommend.

Love this place! Such a privilege to have them in our neighborhood <3 The staff was so lovely and helpful and were super cool about answering my billions of questions. They have a cool little section of fossils for sale too! I bought a beautiful little cluster of azurite along with fossilized dinosaur poop, all for about $10. Can’t wait to bring our kids here someday!

I've been here twice so far and taken different friends with me both times. I'd love for more people to know what a gem this place is. The store is really well curated and organised. It feels fresh and welcoming- definitely different from how cluttered and overwhelming a lot of rocks and minerals stores feel. I'm particularly in love with their fossil collection and I saw how many kids loved that part! Talking to Liz was probably my favourite part about the store. She's super knowledgeable- both in terms of geology and also about spiritual characteristics of the rocks in their collection. She even helped me cleanse my rose quartz ring while I purchased this gorgeous Zeolite that looks perfect next to my plants! This place is all the best parts of a cabinet of curiosity and a museum gift shop! Everyone I love will now be getting rocks for Christmas!

I stopped by a few days when I realized I was getting to work super early. From the moment I walked in, I felt a very calming vibe. I was greeted by a young woman, who was incredibly kind, talkative and very knowledgeable! Ive been to quite a few shops in Chicago and Ive never received this kind of attention. Great shop, it's got a little bit of everything from basic small polished samples to more expensive ones. It also has fossils and meteorites. The manager was very friendly too. The store was a bit hard to find and there's not a lot of parking space so I suggest parking at the Jewel Osco that's close by.

geology rocks is really chicago's "hidden gem!" this place is absolutely fantastic for any experienced collector, crystal worker, or rock fan. the staff is incredibly warm and friendly, and always willing to help out when you want to learn more about the stone you're purchasing. everything is individually packaged at the register with a little placard put inside each bag, which makes it super convenient and easy to know exactly what you bought, where it's from, as well as its properties! i cannot recommend geology rocks enough, 11/10 wonderful shop!!!

We got to spend some time with the owner Justin , very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves to tell you all about every stone in the shop. I went in today for the grand opening, and had a great experience! Love the layout of the shop and the staff were all super nice and helpful. Liz greeted me as soon as I walked in and Jeff answered all of my questions. I am a big crystal and mineral enthusiast, and was really excited to see some specimens I have never seen before (check out the K2!). Great shop! They have a really unique selection of rocks and minerals, and lots of information about each specimen. For a small shop, it's very nice and open and I felt very comfortable. This place was absolutely beautiful! The selection of stones was outstanding. I really appreciated the insight into the chemical formals/structures of the stones (as well as the spiritual side). The cashier was also super sweet and was really knowledgeable. She showed me features of my stone that I didn't even know it had. The UV corner was sick! Def recommended.

Finally a great quality rock shop near me! They have a great selection of rocks, crystals, and fossils, ALL amazing quality and affordable pricing. My friend came in with a crystal she could not identify and the workers there were able to help her out. The timing could not be more impeccable... I’m happy and I can see myself spending all my money there. Their prices are so reasonably priced, and have such a HUGE variety of rocks. Staff there is so sweet and answered all my annoying questions as a beginner crystal collector lol. 🥰✨🥺. Overall the shop has very welcoming, good energy and I’m definitely going back. Just left here from there grand opening, and man was it cool! So many different types of rock, organized perfectly. They even had some crazy looking fossils. There is definitely something for everyone. I learned a lot just browsing. Staff was super attentive, talkative, friendly, and casual (not annoying sales people). As one of the regular customers the space is always nice and friendly, there's many different types of gemstones and crystals that have different properties that can be use for physical, mental and spiritual. It's also one of the most fun places in Chicago for awhile ( since the pandemic happened) I reccomend anyone stopping by and purchase a mineral could be fun~

I was in Chicago for a hot minute, and stumbled upon this little store. I’ve never been in a crystal shop before (because I usually buy online), but it was such a cute space to be in. There’s a vast variety of things to look at and discover, so making up my mind was so difficult. My only complaint is that I wish white sage bundles weren’t sold here, as those bundles are part of closed indigenous practices.

I haven’t had a chance to visit their shop in person yet, but I love their online store and social media feed! Not only do they have products but there is educational content on their website to help you learn more about what you’re interested in. Can’t wait to visit them in person soon!
