I took in my wedding ring set to be soldered together. The service was fast and friendly! I couldn't be happier with the end result - the rings still look like individual rings inside and and out and the craftsmanship is perfection. My ring was also ready before the original estimated completion date. The employees of this family-owned business take a lot of pride in their store and each other. I did not have a local jeweler before this visit...but now I do!

The staff was absolutely amazing with helping me figure out the best design but left the ultimate decision up to me. If you have a custom job, they are very artistic and knowledgeable about style. I have had several pieces of my mother’s jewelry redone and was very pleased with their craftsmanship. We have lived in this state for two years and asked some locals for recommendations for a local jewelry store. Everyone said Hendrickson’s Fine Jewelry. We went for our first visit this week. My wedding ring needed rhodium plating and cleaning. I also took my grandma’s thin platinum wedding band with tiny diamonds from the early 1920’s to have made larger and shined up. Hendrickson’s did a beautiful job on both, and best of all, they are incredibly welcoming and friendly. We are so happy to have found them!

Hendrickson’s has been so amazing to work with! My husband upgraded my center diamond for our anniversary this year. Shortly after that though, I began to lose side diamonds because the palladium was wearing down. I took my ring to Hendrickson’s (my grandma and mom have been coming here for decades!) and they redesigned my ring in white gold and it is STUNNING! All hand placed diamonds and gold work. I couldn’t be happier. Everyone has been so kind and sensitive and communicative. They gave me a quote and were able to accommodate a quick turn around as I was heading out of town. The owners, Dean and Sara were more than thrilled to make something work. As they quickly created an outrageously gorgeous 1 karat diamond ring, I watched in amazement as they created it front of me! The ring was for my wife on our 5th anniversary on December 31st. They captured the perfect representation of how my wife has become shining and beautiful, inside and out, in these last five years! They absolutely Nailed It! I was unaware when I stepped into the store that it was in the last hour of closing for the for the 2022 year and not to open again till 2023! Also they loaded me up with extras like a bottle of wine in a nice wine bag and movie tickets and potpourri and gift wrapped it wonderfully, I couldn't be happier with this experience, I can't thank them enough!! Top of the line repairs! I brought in a VERY intricate tennis bracelet that is difficult to repair. Jade helped me and assured me they would find a solution to where I wouldn't even have noticed it had broken. I picked my bracelet less than a week later and it was even better than ever! I decided to have them restring my pearls and again, never looked better! They even fixed a part I thought I would have to replace. They could have easily hosed me but didn't! HONEST FOLKS THERE!

I had an old engagement ring I brought in to be re-set on a more modern setting. I started this process about 6 months ago. I went through a lot of confusion on both the jewelers and my end to get to this point. To be fair to the owners, I don't know anything about engagement rings and was not able to provide every single detail necessary to achieve the best look and most practical setting. In the end, we did get the exact look we wanted and love the final product but at the cost of much headache and miscommunication from this company. You will definitely get 5 star craftsmanship here - but the internal organization and communication of this business left room for improvement. Some details: I brought in an old ring to be re-set. The rep. I was speaking with notified me that it was cracked, I acknowledged, and we came up with a new plan together. Bear in mind, I have literally no clue about the ins and outs of rings and the rep. was aware of this. I put my trust in them to guide me towards the most practical setting and ensure the security of this diamond. Initally, they said it was not big deal and proceeded to set the diamond in a high-profile without asking me (I didn't know there was a difference). Later, another member from their team notifies my SO that the integrity of the diamond absolutely does not allow for it be set high, and that it must be re-cut to get rid of the flaws. We play a quick game of he-said-she-said between me and the original rep. I worked with. In the end, they accept the error on their end and fix it free of charge. Several months in to our business together, Despite having contacted my SO previously, they misdialed their number and had to reach out to me to confirm her number again. Then they called her to confirm her number. It did not build confidence in their business management. On another occasion within a few weeks of our wedding, they called and left a voicemail saying the ring will not be ready for several more weeks and apologize for the inconvenience. Soon after that call, they call again to say that message was for another customer and apologize for the confusion. Kind of a stressful mistake for a bride to bear within weeks of the wedding. We had issues ensuring both the wedding band and engagement ring were the same size after the initial order. We notified them of the change in the size of both rings. They didn't match the sizes of both rings and we had to make another trip to the store and a few more weeks of waiting to clear up this scenario.

I had a necklace of my grandmother's that had a diamond pendant on a chain that wasn't quite my style. You see, I have been desperately searching for a jeweler to re-plate a family heirloom piece of jewelry that over time, and with loving wear, has lost its luster. Knowing how he is when it comes to research and comparisons he does when shopping for any kind of major purchase I went with confidence and found exactly what I was looking for at a price that one would be hard pressed to beat, just as my friend had said. Fast forward about 12 years and you will find, as I did, Hendrickson's is still an experience that is tough to beat. I have a treasured ring that belonged to my dad which had lost a diamond that was central to its design. I took it in to Hendrickson's to see what it might cost to replace the missing diamond and was again reminded why I do business with them. They quoted me what I considered to be a very fair price for a beautiful diamond, as well as the labor to complete the work. I couldn't have been more pleased when they contacted me days before I expected, as I had never seen this priceless ring look better. The diamond was not large but of beautiful quality and luster and the craftsmanship flawless. I'm really a stickler for good customer service and theirs is most excellent and prompt. Their offerings are beautiful and varied and the value is just plain hard to beat, in my experience. We have been going to Hendrickson's for years now. The first time was when we had a gold ring with rose gold pattern on it that needed sized larger. We had taken it to several jewelers and they wanted to cut it and add a gold piece. Finally some one suggested Hendrickson's, they were able to use a laser making it larger with out ruining the pattern. One of our daughters smashed her wedding ring, it has a torsion held diamond. She went to the place where it was purchased to have it fixed. When they were done it didn't look right. So when she came to visit we went to Hendrickson's and Dean ( the miracle worker of jewelry repair ) was able to fix it and lower the main stone to where she really wanted it! It looks beautiful! Another time I had purchased a diamond band from them to go with my wedding set. When I wanted a matching band years later I couldn't find one due to its shape. That's when Dean said he could make one, which he did. My ring is now the way I have always wanted. I now have an engagement ring, with a wedding band on one side and an eternity band on the other. I am thrilled! Hendrickson's Fine Jewelry does all this and at very reasonable prices, They even take in trades or will purchase your old unwanted jewelry! When I asked some of my neighbors for a recommendation for a local jeweler to clean and repair my wedding ring, Hendricksons Fine Jewelry on State Street was suggested. I was specifically looking for someone who did not send out their repairs. I went to Hendrickson's with an unusual request. My wife had a pair of opal stud earrings that she loved very much which were a gift from her late mother. About a year ago, she lost one. I asked Steven Sonoda at Hendrickson's if they could reproduce a match to the one earring that my wife still had. Steven assured me that they would be able to do it, but said that it could be a challenge to find an opal that matched. Steven got to work right away and coordinated with an opal supplier to find an excellent match for the opal. After receiving the opal, Hendrickson's created a perfect replacement for the lost earring. The price was reasonable, the service was excellent, and though it might have been a very simple jewelry job for a talented jeweler, it had a ton of sentimental significance. Thank you Steven!

I have a money clip that my mother in law gave me as a gift 35 years ago. It never leaves me and over the years it has broken from constant use a couple times. I took in a rose gold wedding set to have rebuilt. The crown was not square on it. The ring had been to two other jewlers in Boise. When it was first built. The ring was way to soft. Diamonds were always popping out. Took it in several times. Their answer was it needed to be white gold. Second jewler I took it to said the diamonds needed to be only half way down the band because it weakens it. That was not really what I wanted. But I listened. Then almost a year later I took it back to be sized. When I got it back I noticed the crown was not straight and had a wrinkle in it. Clearly it had been like this from the beginning. Also told me I could add my diamonds back in. Everything I had wanted from the beginning. He was the only jewler that could successfully create the ring of my dreams that was a 25th wedding anniversary gift from my husband.I picked it up today. It is so beautiful. WOW, I went to another jeweler in the area and it was going to take 6 months to get an appraisal. Henricksons was nearer to my house, so I stopped in. I had 5 to 6 pieces, they looked them over and said that the three most valuable pieces were worth doing an appraisal on. Got them back in 10 days. Since then I have taken several more pieces, after going thru the jewelry my mom left me. Great service ever time I walk in the door!

The web site is certainly not a good representation of the actual store. The store is beautiful.. The jewelry is high quality. The customer service is amazing. Ring sizing prices are the lowest in the city. They have a small but exquisite collection of estate jewelry. They can create anything at a reasonable cost. All my visits there have been fun and definitely entertaining!
