They go above and beyond to try and help you make your watch/jewelry dream come true. Big shout out to Haiden over there as well. Best Rolex AD around in my opinion. So if you’re in the market for a luxury watch, or fine jewelry. This is your place to go!

Exceptional service. I needed a ring resized and they got it done for me on time. They also cleaned it so it looks beautiful. I’ll take away one star because I was disappointed that I couldn’t get a cheap ring box to put it after the repair cuz they didn’t have any! Not sure why?! Presuming they do ring repairs often enough, it would be useful for you guys to have some inexpensive boxes for your customers so customers don’t have to stick an engagement ring in their pocket when they leave. A small investment that matters to your customers. Granted they gave me a necklace box to put a ring in and that was great but not what I needed.

Follow up on a previous review - have recently purchased from Hal Davis and I absolutely stand by my 5-star rating. Have mostly worked with Kara but have met a lot of the other staff members as well…everyone I’ve talked to here is incredibly professional and courteous. Showroom is a very welcoming environment and there is plenty to look at. As a previous reviewer pointed out, this is a great place for a watch enthusiast. That being said, there seems to be a good selection of other jewelry as well. Would highly recommend!!

Greatest jeweler on three continents! We were on a quest to buy a Rolex for our second son since we had gifted one to our first son before the worldwide shortage. We visited authorized dealers near us in New York City and Greenwich, CT. My husband tried to find one on a trip home to Caracas, Venezuela. Out of stubborn determination, we went to more than 30 stores on a recent trip to multiple cities in Switzerland and Germany. Not a watch to be found. We were considering other gift options when I had a brilliant idea: Call Hal Davis Jewelers in Boise, Idaho. I grew up in Boise and know Hal Davis Jewelers to have the very best customer service. The incredible Kara Dulhanty listened to my story and agreed that she would keep me in mind if they were lucky enough to receive any watches. Imagine my surprise to get a call from her several months later alerting me to the fact that they were expecting to receive the exact watch we wanted. We now have the watch in hand and will give it to Kid 2 this weekend. We are thrilled (though not at all surprised) that it was my hometown jeweler who came through for us. Hal Davis Jewelers offers the kind of customer service and follow-through that aren’t common these days. I would give them more than five stars if that were an option!

Purchased my first Rolex from Kara and the fine team at Hal Davis. They were an absolute delight the whole way through. A couple of years ago I went into Hal Davis on a weekend trip to Boise, with the intentions of being just a window shopper at the time. They treated me with absolute respect and kindness, they didn’t pre judge or make me feel unwelcome. They put me in the system and listed my desires for wanting to purchase my 1st Rolex from them, even though I had never bought anything from them before. I would call and talk to them every few months to check in on my request understanding that to get a yacht master was no easy thing. They always talked with me and were very open about how it wasn’t easy to get one at the moment. A few months ago I decided I really wanted a datejust, called Kara and she told me to buckle my seatbelt. I got the call a week ago that they had one in and drove over to Boise to pick it up in store. They were so sweet, professional, and generous. It was a big day for me, and I’m so thankful they were there to assist me.

I accidentally submerged my watch with the winding stem out. It was sometime before I realized what must have happened. I took it to Hal Davis to be serviced. Once it was examined they identified there was water damage to the mechanism. They sent it away to be cleaned and detailed. I picked up this morning and it looks amazing-basically a new watch. The staff is very informative and courteous. I’m very pleased with my experience at Hal Davis.

Hal Davis is definitely a watch lovers shop. I have been lucky enough to have picked up a few unique pieces. They took the time to fix a strap that a dog ate on a piece from a competitor’s line. Which I felt was above and beyond. They ordered it in and had it back in rotation a week before promised. The staff is knowledgeable, and courteous. I found it especially nice that David remembered my name after not having been there in almost a year. Thanks for the fix, and all of the unique pieces you have shown me over the years. Keep it up.

Hal Davis is in a league of its own in Boise. I'm speaking as a male, who is most interested in luxury timepieces, and the (sad) fact is there just isn't anywhere else in Boise that carries high end Swiss watch brands. Hal Davis has Rolex, Tudor, IWC, and Omega. The big boys. If you are looking to purchase a high end watch for yourself or a loved one, this is the place to go. Period. Great inventory in a time where supply seems to be a big issue. Their staff is very knowledgeable and have all the updates and latest news regarding mens and womens timepieces. Buying can be an intimidating and confusing process, but the people at HD understand and cater to everyone's individual situations. Also, I'm not a big jewelry guy/dont know much about that world, but my wife and I bought our wedding bands here and had a fantastic experience doing that as well. Overall Hal Davis seems to be operating on a different level than other jewelers in town. Can't say enough about it. If you're thinking about it...go check it out! You wont be disappointed.

Hal David is the reason Boise has all of its glamour. Without it, I wouldn’t have seen the people rocking rolexes in the streets, and diamond jewelry in restaurants. It sets the stage for what an up and coming Idaho looks like. I worked with my rep Kara who has been doing a tremendous job with all of my needs in the store, she is always there for me whenever I need to clean up my rings or get a fine polish she takes care of me. I was in Boise visiting friends and managed to bend a pair of heirloom gold hoop earrings to a point that they were unwearable. When I brought them in the staff set realistic expectations that they might not be repairable and might even get broken completely in the repair process. I appreciated the candor and was willing to take the risk. I was also told that it might take as long as a week to get them back. And here’s the way it played out: took them in on a Tuesday, got a text the repair was finished on Wednesday, picked them up on Thursday and had to work hard to find the section that was damaged. They under promised and over delivered much to my delight. Everyone I worked with was exceedingly cordial and made me feel welcomed. Exceptional service and quality craftsmanship.

I previously went to Jared’s to get my engagement ring sized. It was my grandmothers ring so it’s an older one. About 40 years. And the guy there told me I shouldn’t even be wearing my ring because of how thin the prongs were holding in the diamond. He told me they could replace them but there was a small chip in my diamond and “there’s a good chance it would crack during replacement” I was in tears when I got home. My mom found Hal Davis and said they specialized in refurbishment of older jewelry. We took the ring in and they told me the guy at Jared’s had been lying to me. My prongs were thin but not enough for me to worry about losing my diamond. They recomended and different crown for the diamond though. But she assured me I could continue wearing the ring without it. I decided to go with the new crown just for ease of mind and thy fixed it up within a day and now my grandmothers ring looks even more beautiful than it did before. And I’m so happy. I will be going back to Hal Davis anytime I need anything. They’re the best jewelers in town.

I have yet to take the plunge and purchase a Submariner Date just yet but each time I've come in there has been no pressure, they answer all my questions and allow me to try on multiple timepieces. Other shops in the valley are very high pressure and always try to add on to their sale. When buying a $6,000 timepiece the last thing you want to hear is "hey don't you need two watches or doesn't your wife need an upgrade on her ring". Comments like that make you feel like the $6,000 you're already spending isn't good enough for them or you're purely just a sale. We have used them for repairs, both antique and new. They have a large offering for last minute gifts- you can walk out of there with awesome pieces same-day, which I wasn’t expecting, as I am very particular. We have used them for special orders and custom jewelry creations too. They go above and beyond in customer service - Ashlee, Kara, and David were all exceptional - working so hard to help me with just the right thing. David even called/emailed me more options after I left, when he found an even better option. Parking is easy, and their location is so convenient.
