I needed to liquidate a few gold and silver items and chose the Honest Gold Buyer because of the excellent reviews I saw on Google. I was not disappointed. The owner, Whit Kincaid, was a joy to meet. I felt like I met a new friend today. His stories about the interesting antique documents he owns and displays in his shop were fascinating! His business is very secure and I felt very comfortable there. Whit definitely offers a lot more than a pawn shop experience. He evaluated our pieces and tested them in front of us. We had a few pieces that were silver plated, and while they are of little value he was more than happy to let us know what kind of pieces we possessed and even recommended a couple of ideas for selling them. The pieces he was interested in were weighed (also in our presence) and were paid by the current market value. I would not hesitate to go to Whit again and would recommend him to friends and family!
