Although I was not a direct user of the Brian Stevens agency, my sister, Pat Johnston was. She passed away late last year and I was tasked with tending to her estate. My interactions with Brian and his staff was so positive in helping me understand what my options were during this stressful time. First off Bonnie is the best, she listens and really is just a great person. I have never heard her say "sorry we can't do that". We have had a few incidents in the last 10 years and she is always there to tell me it's going to be ok. Just a great human being with a heart of gold! If I could give her a 100 star rating I would! I've been insured with Brian's office for over 15 years and with State Farm for over 22 years now. My husband and I love the great service that Brian's office and this company has provided us over the decades. State Farm's claims service has always been there when we've needed them. We also love our low rates! When it came time to buy a car for my 18 year old stepson, I thought there was no way we could afford to insure him with State Farm since they're such a top rated company. We checked with other companies and were shocked at the cost. To make myself feel better, I called Brian's office to get a quote fully expecting it to cost more than these other companies. I was completely blown away that they were half the cost of other (even substandard) companies. Tyler was awesome to work with in getting us the quotes and adding him and the car to our policies. I should have never doubted that State Farm would always take care of us, even when we have teenagers to insure. If you have better coverage or value with any lines of coverage, they will not push or get aggressive when my life insurance or AAA roadside had better savings potential on my budget. (and we have had all those experiences with them!) We have numerous lines of insurance with them, and growing, and they will explain everything to me, even the dumbest questions that I may have! Let's just say, it makes sense to shop at different supermarket once in a while. We have had our personal insurance with the same agent for over 17 years. In fact, our original agent retired and passed us along to his successor. You think you are getting the best pricing because isn't that what your longtime agent should be providing you? March 9th, 2016 - we were informed that water was pouring out of our front door , garage door & back patio doors. As luck would have it - we were in Dunedin, FL. I immediately phoned our Agent, Brian Stevens - State Farm. The wheels went into motion as soon as we arrived home that night at 11:30pm. I phoned the Mitigation Company referred by Brian's office - they were at the house the very next morning by 6:30am and would have come the night before except that the running water was turned off - I had laid down all the towels I could muster up until Mitigation arrived (40 Air Vacs & Dehumidifiers for 7 days & nights). Brian Stevens, himself, came to the house the next day - along with the Appraiser who took photos of the entirely damaged house; the water worked itself into every crevice imaginable. The On-Site Appraiser gave us an up-front check to help with the Contractor's fees - the Contractor was amazing and worked to get us back into our home in about 5 weeks. When I had any questions/concerns - I drove over to Brian Stevens' office and received all the assistance I needed to transmit information to the Adjuster, etc. Brian Stevens and his Staff truly helped ease our distress and did everything they could to make a disastrous situation comforting for us. My husband (Mel) and I are extremely appreciate of the kindness extended to us at a most traumatic time in our lives. Thank You, Brian and your Employees for everything you've done for us.
