I called AAA for a travel money pouch. I know they sold them years ago. I wasn't sure if they still did. The young lady who answered the phone answered quickly and professionally. She knew the product I was speaking of and acknowledged that they sold money pouches in the past but no longer do. She gave me the names of a few places to look. She wished me well on my search, and we ended the phone call. I have been a member of AAA for decades. I no longer own a car, but I keep an AAA policy even though I have towing and lock out with my car insurance and most of my credit cards. Surprise, you don't need to own a car to carry car insurance or an AAA policy.

I was just about to drop AAA for car insurance. Long story short my card expired that card was linked to auto pay so my insurance was not getting paid I never received a latter about cancellation. I opened the app and it said no insurance I was upset. I reached out to AAA to get current with my car insurance. Some of the representatives I have encountered I noticed unworthy representatives or it could just be undereducated. I had one representative tell me if I pay the amount I may not be covered another said I have to pay this amount and then a manager decide wether or not AAA can cover me or not. Remind you this was the first time my insurance has fell behind. I was given different amounts to pay. What turned this negative experience around was a representative Roberta she cleared it up and helped me understand the steps to get me current. Thank you Roberta for not giving me the run around and being truthful as far a AAA please train more knowledgeable when it comes to insurance or reinforce truthfulness with your representatives. for the customer don’t waste your time call Roberta

Went to pick up my International Driver Permit. They take walk in and offer passport photos for a small fee. The whole process was quick and painless. Aulani was super friendly and made sure all my questions were answered. $20 fee for the license and you can pay with card.

I went to the triple A on Nimitz to get an international drivers license. Called to see if I could get an appointment and left a message. Someone actually called me back and had me come in day of. Holly was my associate and she was beyond professional. Had the paper work ready to go and the camera set to take a photo for my license. She kindly dealt with another women who was pretty rude while Holly was working with me and Holly politely helped the women while not skipping a beat with me. I was in and out in ten minutes. She is the definition of what customer service should look like.

Super helpful and friendly staff! Tiffiny helped me get a bunch of maps for our upcoming road trip! Office is surprisingly large with lots of agents, and beautiful travel BOOKS for sale, including for kids! Marked AAA Parking immediately outside their office door is free, unlike rest of parking area. Other services are available like insurance and travel agents, and i think a notary public (but call to reconfirm).

Went in for International Drivers License and my wife and I were out with licenses in hand in less than 20 minutes. Super friendly staff and very accommodating. Even helped us get set up with a travel agent who could talk us through travel insurance.

You'll find the friendliest, helpful and knowledgeable people at the AAA. We've been members for 30 years - worth every penny. Still waiting for an insurance quote from them - it's been about 3 weeks. Deeann assisted us with passport photos today. It was such a pleaseant experience. It was the first time my wife has been to the AAA branch. She was impressed. I told her they're always nice.

I have been with AAA over 30 years and would never ever consider hitting the road without them. The services that they provide, towing if your car has mechanical problems, flat tires, overheating, dead batteries and almost any situation that can cause you to have a bad day when you are out and about. The services don't stop there, vacation planning they got it covered, need a hotel, rental car and help with booking flights they got you! Locked out of your car they got you covered, need insurance the list of services are mind blowing. The most important thing that the company has provided in my time with them is dependability for over 30 years and many thousands of miles of travel they have never failed to help!

Today I was caught in a snag, I was working and had to be at my next appointment but my battery had died. I called triple A and within the hour they sent out Garret who gave me a charge and told me exactly what the problem was. I ended up buying a battery which turned out to be cheaper than what I was gonna get. Garrett showed me the issue, and replaced it all within thirty minutes, super nice guy and gave me some water too. Great customer service!

AAA is the best!!! Never had a bad experience! Car wouldn't start and suspected a dead battery. They came within 30 minutes because they were going to dispatch for a replacement if charge did not work. Took them 10 minutes to diagnose and replace my dead battery. Pricing was good with free install. I am a loyal member and will be for a long time!

My family and I have had a membership with AAA for 15 years for our 3 cars. I am so grateful and extremely satisfied with their service. We have called them many times When I've run out of gas, battery died, or locked keys in the car. When we bought a brand new car from Honda in 2016 we were given a free roadside assistance which I thought I'd never need however we were sold a defective New car and every time I called Honda they could not come out...on the holidays...in the evening....or weekend....But AAA always came out within 20 minutes. Recently my New battery from Honda... 1 year old died for no reason.. AAA came out and rather than trying to convince me to buy a new battery from them because the battery was at 0%... he charged me and encouraged me to go to Honda to have them exchange it with the warranty....he even followed me to the service center to make sure it didn't die again. Well again Honda did not honor the warranty, and would not even charge the battery...But AAA did come out again the following day and charged my battery 100%... and now it's running fine. I have found Every one of their technicians extremely helpful and have gone above and beyond to assist me. Now that my teen daughter will be driving I feel secure she will be in good hands should we need AAA to help.

808 Towing is outstanding! Excellent communication from there dispatch office, detailed and considerate of our safety and confirmation of Technicians arrival time. It's such a relief when you know you're being rescued by the best! My wife and I have called on 808 Towing atleast 5 times in the past 3 years, and everytime there employees have shown us respect and professionalism. 2 of there drivers, Jesse and Justin are exceptional at there trade. My friend's car wouldn't start when she was trying to leave my house this morning. We called AAA and they sent someone out right away. We were initially quoted a 90 minute wait when we were on the phone with the mainland customer service rep. But, after about 5 minutes, we got a call from the tow truck driver. He was on the H-3 and would be here in 30 minutes. And he was, right when he said. The young man who came out was Preston, and he got my friends car started in no time. He was very personable, polite and professional. We couldn't have been more impressed with the service we got. Really and truly, what could have been a stressful situation, turned out to be so simple. Thanks AAA, and thank you Preston.

My 2016 Tacoma's battery died and Monroe from AAA arrived that morning at my residence and conducted the diagnostics. He was very friendly, courteous, and professional. The battery needed to be changed out and he advised me about double checking the battery warranty before I make a decision to pay for and change out for a new battery. He advised me that he was pretty sure the battery was warrantied for 3 years and it's been 2 years and 11 months. Just in the nick of time. Well he jumped started my car and I ended up driving it down to Servco Toyota where in fact it was fully warrantied yet and they ended up installing a brand new battery. Want to send a much kudos and mahalos to my AAA driver Monroe as he did an excellent job that morning and saved me some money. Well worth being a member of AAA after all these years.

Go see Steven Ly or Lani at the Nimitz Hwy. AAA office near Best Buy and in 25 minutes time your car insurance is renewed you can also opt to get renters insurance with a bundle type of deal and end up saving money in the end, not to mention $120 per year for Roadside Assistance coverage.

Somewhat efficient. A busy, cluttered space with people waiting to get help and people working to get people the help they need. Staff is friendly and tries to be helpful. AAA offers a lot of travel services as well as auto services. I went for an International Drivers Permit and was prepared for the required documents including photos, etc. They can take your photos there if you don't have them. They were at a bit of a loss as to where I could get a Chinese Visa and suggested some place, but weren't sure. All in all, got what I went in for and it's just another busy business in Honolulu. Nothing outstanding or off putting.

The service has been quick every time I've needed them. I've called them for dead batteries and flat tires over the last two years and always had speedy service. The travel discounts have saved me $100s of dollars over the years as well. Totally worth the membership fees.

My boy friend Jason recently used our AAA service to have his older Lexus towed to s service station. The service station told him his car was done and the engine was messed up. It tow truck driver encouraged him to use a product called Lucas. He used Lucas today, and now his car is running like a champ! Thanks to the tow truck driver giving him great advice now his car is up and running again. We can't remember the tow truck drivers named we will call this week and find out but we want to give him an excellent review as well. We thank you so much for all the advice and help.

On big island hours and sometimes, hours and hours and hours. Out of 4 service calls two were acceptable service times of less than 2 hours. One other was hours and hours. The 4th never came after 6hrs. Update The service times have gotten better recently

The good folks if AAA have been with me from Colorado to Hawaii and been my insurance provider as well I dont know how they grade Insurace Companies, but I can tell you AAA has never let me down through ice storms, thru hurricanes, being run off the road and accidents.
