Great place. Very convenient and easy to find location at basically 29th & Arkansas. It's a southwest style home made into a restaurant, very decorative, with a nice iron fence surrounding a large patio with seating and there's plenty of parking! Service is great, super nice ladies are usually running the register. You order under the "order here" sign then will pick up at the other end of the counter after your foods made. The ice cream is amazing as well as my personal favorites the pop-sickles. All types of dessert, made fresh with fruit!!! Nice menu with some delicious food. Personal favorite is the al pastor tacos! There's also tons of seating inside, even for large groups, so give it a try!!

It's always a good sign when you walk into a Mexican restaurant and they're playing telenovelas and music in Spanish. Had a steak and ground beef tostada with rice and beans. All was delicious. This place also serves ice cream that is very popular.

I love this place! Friendly staff, excellent food, and fair portions for the price. Bonus: they have awesome ice cream and frozen treats! When you enter, you order at the counter, then you can sit and they will call your number when the food is ready. My favorite... Crispy Tacos!

Absolutely excellent authentic mexican food, chicken tacos are outstanding with a dash of orange hot sauce and lime juice. Then you have to top it off with some of their famous ice cream. Strawberry is always my go to! Excellent eatery.

First, I want to mention how clean this place is. We have been going there for a couple years and I'm always impressed. The wait staff is amazing they're very friendly. Makes it a very nice experience. We have never had any bad food there. Their tortas are amazing. The burritos are awesome as well. And there are lots more items on the menu. Besides ice cream they offer shaved ice and many Mexican Specialties made with fruit and other items. The only reason I gave them 5 stars because there's no way to give them 6.

The food is amazing. I'm addicted to their chips and salsa. The chips are thicker and incredibly crispy, and the salsa is a fresh blended style. I recommend trying the espiropapa (spiral cut fried potato) with chile and hot sauce. The meats are all delicious, and the prices are good. Then, there's the homemade ice creams! There's too much good to say about this place!

Food was abundant and delicious, personally loved their mango fruit cups. The chili powder is a beautiful touch, though pleasing to the eyes and mouth, nothing compared to the homemade Icecream. With a huge selection they resemble something like Braums, but I assure you, the difference is uncanny. Overall 13/10, I'll recommend visiting, and returning for more.

Fun, family-friendly traditional Mexican food restaurant and ice cream shop tucked away in north Wichita. They make their ice-cream on location. I would recommend the strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Also, for those who are sensitive to dairy or food dyes, they also have water based popsicles that are very tasty. My kids love this place!

They have rajas con queso which is hard to come by. The food was safe as in most would enjoy it. The burrito was well made and satisfying. Chile Verde was the highlight. Rice was not dry and they make whole beans. Their ice cream is what they're known for and for good reason.

Delicious authentic food with friendly services they have THE BEST Barbacoa in the World! I start out sharing a durro preparando without queritos (pickled pig skins) I get their smothered burrito with barbacoa and without smothered green sauce(it's super spicy) but only eat half so you have room for strawberries and cream. Barbacoa sopes are delicious also.

I wanted to get a Mangonada and the girl who was helping me didn't know what that was. I think she was new. She was extremely friendly though. I was confused with what I wanted with all the fresh food shells coming from there kitchen. They had a huge selection of over cream. I need to revise this place with more time in my hand.

Great authentic Mexican food, and some of the best ice cream in Wichita! I especially love their Barbacoa. As for their ice cream, they have unique flavors such as Pinenut, Kahlua, and Grape (with real grapes in the ice cream!) as well as other fruity and classic flavors. My personal favorite is their Tequila ice cream :) They also have a nice patio area.

The torta is average; other lite fare also available. The real reason to go here is the excellent ice cream, all homemade at very reasonable prices. I had tequila, yes tequila ice cream. The Magoniada -- mango blended with chile and a hint of lime -- is interesting but not my cup of tea. Will have to try the grape, the eggnog, and the coffee on a future visit. Many flavors to choose from, none of them ordinary. [Palateria alludes to ice cream on a stick, but they have bowls and cones as well.] Menu is 99% bilingual. Plenty of indoor seating, ample patio space, and a couple of arcade games, to boot.

Try the single entrees to discover what you like. We recommend the gorditas, and sopes, and be sure to try all the different meat options. The barbacoa is excellent. And when you're done with supper, save room for ice cream. All the flavors are dense and creamy. So many interesting varieties to try. I had the eggnog, which is basically a rum raisin custard, and my daughters had mango. Next time we'll try the tequila flavor, and the cookies and cream.

The gordita al pastor — mmmm. That is some of the best al pastor I’ve had in Wichita. Reminds me of Guadalajara. The pork with red chile sauce was an excellent filling as well. I’d go back any time just for that. I actually wasn’t particularly impressed with the ice cream. The mango didn’t have much of a mango flavor. The pine nut was nice but nothing special. But never mind that, it’s an excellent meal with fast, friendly service.

It is an excellent place to live and eat, they have a wide variety of food, desserts and they have very good service, they are excellent people. I love the pineapple water that they prepare as well as their different desserts, such as the impossible cake or the ice cream, what can I say about the buritos that are super filling, I recommend them... a great place to enjoy delicious Mexican appetizers .
