First time here but not the last. The most charming place with the sweetest owner. Most importantly, the ice cream is delicious!!! Unique flavors. We were able to sample several and had a hard time choosing. The vanilla bean, tangerine sorbet, toasted coconut and coffee marshmellow were awesome! Loved everything about this visit

We took an evening stroll and came across this lovely little place 💕 Lu Lu's provides fresh homemade ice cream made daily!!! So many flavors of ice cream to choose from. (They even have dairy free options) My favorite was the hot chocolate ice cream. They also offer locally made key lime pie that is made from a 200 year old family recipe. The store is decorated with adorable vintage finds sprinkled throughout the store. The owners were extremely friendly and kind to us.

I went with a large group and the ice cream was really good and the store itself was neat. I think the best part was the young person working. I don’t remember their name but I wish I did. He was in their dancing to the music, encourage people to ask for samples and listening to what our group was saying to offer them a sample he thought they’d like. He even got a few of us to dance as well. Truly a fun experience to cap off our vacation.

Went to LuLu’s and it did not disappoint. Had the pleasure of being served by the queen herself and she was so sweet and nice! We were able to sample the flavors and they were all soooooo good. I got Carrot 🥕 Cake 🧁, toasted coconut 🥥 and she threw on a scoop of coffee marshmallow! The waffle cones are made from scratch and the scent of them is heavenly and they taste so good! 100% will be back! All the ice cream is handmade and so creamy and delicious, 100% worth the trip! We will be visiting again before we leave town! Our whole family loved 🥰 it!

The shop is so charming & gives you a sense of nostalgia. Ethan was a sweetheart & was very helpful in choosing a gelato flavor. If you get a chance try the Lulu's namesake flavor, it was very unique & hit the spot!

Best ice cream shop in the state of Florida! Lu Lou’s is a must stop if you are in the Tampa area. The staff is always amazing and so helpful. They even had a SUGAR FREE option for my wife (who is diabetic). The smell of fresh baked waffle cones drifting from the door will draw you in every time. Do not miss this wonderful local spot. You will regret not coming.

Homemade Ice cream was amazing. The had some unique flavors. Strawberry Cheesecake was so yummy. I went back another day to get German Chocolate, but they had new flavors. I settled for coffee marshmallow which was delicious too! Ethan was very nice which was another reason we went back.

Quirky and whimsical, this venue is one of the best tasting ice creams I've had in a very long time. I don't always give 5 star reviews easily, but David put this one over the top! Personable and REALLY handsome, he made my day, my week, and my month. Toasted coconut and Southern Praline was a great choice, but if I was smarter I should have taken David's advice and complemented the coconut with chocolate. Next time David, next time. While there, I had the extreme pleasure of speaking to the owner on the telly. Wonderful lady full of zest and clearly passionate about her ice cream ! Yes, I would go back.

Great stop for homemade ice cream - no chain brands you can get anywhere. Truly something only available in Indian Shores. Spoke with owner for a while about how she makes the ice cream and changes flavors often, sometimes twice a day (and well drilling in Murphy, NC). Ice cream was delicious!

Great little ice cream place. They have old style candy from back in the day. Will say they are a little over priced but kind of expected being on the beach. Ice cream was delicious and the small seating area outside was nice to enjoy the great weather. Over all I'll be coming back to visit this place for sure.

Wow! Wow! Wow! That was by far the best ice cream experience I have ever had. Ethan hooked us up!! The second we walked in, he knew exactly what we wanted. What we needed!! He passed over three incredible samples (after asking about allergies, of course) and each one of them were perfect. We literally got scoops of all three. Ethan even made us an incredible make-shift banana split. We will absolutely be back. Get down to Lulu's asap!!!

Ethan is the man! My wife and I had a blast at Lu Lu's .We actually went twice while on our vacation. Both times Ethan served us. He is super friendly, energetic and keeps the vibe going with fun music. He is always suggesting combinations of flavors and toppings to order and will give you samples. He makes a mean milk shake to boot! I am sure he would have let me sample every flavor in the case if I asked for it. Such a fun experience and some really creative flavors you won't find anywhere else.

I'd give this place 100 stars if I could! Nicest owners!!! You can tell they really love what they do. They have quite a few flavors to chose from and they all sounded amazing! They just pulled out some fresh cinnamon rolls and we had to grab a couple for later. Even with our masks on it smelled amazing in there. This shop is so cute and quaint. I got the espresso fudge in a waffle bowl and my husband got blue raspberry chip in a waffle bowl. They were both delicious and creamy! Plus, the portions are very generous! I couldn't even eat half of mine. The blue raspberry chip reminded me of superman ice cream (we're from Michigan). Candy, toys, ice cream, cinnamon rolls and the sweetest owners on the planet make for a great experience! Not a lot of parking, but we were staying close by and could walk there. They also offer some outdoor seating. We will definitely make this a regular stop for us whenever we're in the area. It's definitely worth a try!

My husband and I stopped in tonight to Lu Lu's Ice Cream. I knew their ice cream was homemade and they had great Google reviews which is why I planned to check it out. Jess (hope I remembered that right 😉) was super pleasant, gave us recommendations and allowed us to try some samples. We each selected the blueberry cheesecake as well as the black raspberry flavors. They both were delicious! The owner Paul asked us how we liked everything and what we ordered. He was very personable and offered a couple of samples of new and popular flavors. Every sample that I tried was great! I get the impression that stellar customer service is very important to their business which is exceedingly rare these days. I highly recommend a visit!

Ethan has a so nice! If you like peanut butter, you HAVE to ask him to make you his off-nenu peanut butter shake ....oh wow!! You will not be disappointed!

We loved Lu Lu's! Not a HUGE selection of flavors but more than enough to choose from and at least a few gluten free options plus gluten free sugar cones and plenty of candy! The employees were very nice and seemed knowledgeable about gluten and celiac disease. We felt safe eating there and will absolutely return!

Ice cream was very good, outdoor seating area could really use some sprucing. Parking was a little bit of an issue, there are very few spaces. Also we accepted a cone with a flavor we didn't order due a misunderatanding. But the employees are friendly. They make their own ice cream. Some unique flavors (like carrot cake, blue raspberry marshmallow, and blueberry pie).

The best ice cream! I love this place. Such a fun atmosphere. The retro candy took me back to my childhood. I found myself looking forward to which flavor I was going to try next. They make their ice cream and waffle cones on site. They also offer gluten free and dairy free options that taste great. The staff is great! Beth and Paul make you feel like family.

A few nights ago, my girlfriend and I walked past this little ice cream shop. The smell was entrancing but we were stuffed from dinner. We planned right then to come back. Today, we finally stopped in. The shop owners were incredibly welcoming and the ice cream was delicious! We each had homemade waffle bowls which were great too. We’ll definitely be visiting LuLu’s anytime we’re back in the area.

Absolutely incredible! We spent 3 evenings in a row at Lulu's because we were lucky enough to stay next door. The hospitality, the ice cream, the atmosphere, I can't say enough great things. This place was so wonderful! From the ice cream, to the service, to the hospitality! I was overjoyed with the amount of kindness that we experienced here. The coconut, praline, and coffee crunch were our faves but ALL their flavors are delicious! If you’re looking for a great place to stop and have a great memory and experience, stop here! WILL DEFINITELY COME AGAIN! Update: We came back again and the quality, hospitality and deliciousness of flavors hasn’t changed! Lulu’s is amazing! We visited at the recommendation of a family member and it definitely did not disappoint! The store is super cute and spectacularly clean. The owner is soo nice and welcoming. They have a good variety of flavors (we tried a lot of them 🙄) and the waffle cones are made fresh every day. They also have a few sorbets and dairy free options, so there is really something for everyone! There is a nice patio right outside the door, perfect for enjoying a scoop with the family, and closed off from the parking lot to ensure safety of the little ones. We will definitely be back before vacation is over, and will be sure to visit in future vacations too!

I had to leave one last review. My family and I are leaving Indian Rocks Beach with a heavy heart this afternoon, and I felt that it was necessary to leave this here. Lulu’s was the cherry on top (sorry not sorry for the pun) of our trip. The warm, delicious smell of waffle cones greets you at the door followed by the wonderful vintage toys, candy, and decor. After perusing around, hopefully, you’ll be lucky enough to encounter the most genuine, soft-spoken gentleman named David. If you’re lucky enough to talk to David and be on the receiving end of his ice cream extravaganzas (my dad likes to call them “David’s Picassos”), then you’re in for the treat of a lifetime. Their fresh ice cream flavors bounce around every day but have some steady flavors like Captain America. Whether you’re stopping in for a sweet treat after lunch or wanting to end your night with a little frozen magic, Lu Lu’s is the place to be. We’ll miss you David.

This is the best ice cream anywhere! Lulu's is in a cute shop across the street from the beach. What more could you ask for? How about great service from the super friendly owners . Unbelievable ice cream 🍨 flavors!! We had the pleasure of staying in a wonderful Airbnb for 6 weeks and one of the best parts was Lulu’s was directly in front of Seashells! Lulu, the owner, is one the of most friendly ladies you will ever meet and her flavorful ice cream is just the right treat for any day of the week. Of course the best flavor is the Lulu!! Make sure and stop by if you are visiting Indian Shores as you will not regret it! Absolutely DELICIOUS and a DELIGHT to visit.

Ok so I never leave reviews for anywhere but this place is a must!! We visited twice in our week long stay at Indian shores and was absolutely amazed with their selection!! 5 stars is not a high enough rating for this gem of a place! Paul and Beth and their staff are absolutely amazing, not to mention their proprietary flavors are some of the best ice cream you will find anywhere. The great ice cream coupled with the amazing customer service make this an absolute must if you are ever in the Indian Shores, FL area. We have been every night thus far on our vacation and plan to stop by and have dessert for the remaining nights of our vacation. The way they treat us as their customers is honestly unique in this day and age and to say they have gone above and beyond to take care of us is an understatement. The experience and taste is truly unique and you need to see for yourself!

Edit : We went for our second time yesterday and sampled the chocolate chip peanut butter ice cream cookie. I’m not a fan of peanut butter but I really did enjoy the ice cream and the cookie was a perfect texture balance. YOU REALLY MUST GO HERE! I wish I could give this place 10 stars, customer service was PHENOMENAL, you can definitely feel at home here. Ice cream was absolutely FANTASTIC. I got half strawberry and half blueberry cheesecake, by far the best ice cream I’ve had in a very long time. I will definitely be coming back and making the hour drive VERY soon.

Easily nicest people I've ever met! My family walked there late, they were about to close but they welcomed us, gave us samples, and just talked with us. We then got our ice cream and eat it outside on a bench they had. One of the best I've creams we've had in our lives! A few seconds later they came outside to return our credit card we forgot in there! They then talked to us outside the rest of the time we eat when they could've just gone home. When we were about to go, one of the employees asked how far away we are staying because we walked, so we said .4 miles. He said "wait right there," and he goes back into the shop. He comes back out with a free ice cream bar to bring back to our place.

I can definitely see why Lulu’s was named best ice cream in this area! Not only is all their ice cream hand made and hand dipped, they give you huge, generous amounts for the money! The ice cream sandwiches are big enough for 2 or 3 people! The atmosphere of this wonderful shop is fairytale like. I will definitely be recommending Lulu’s to my friends and family!

We found this little gem tonight and glad we did! The ice cream was delicious and the portions are enormous. My friend got a larger cone and I joked that it looked like she had half a gallon of ice cream, but in all seriousness it was at least a pint. I had the chocolate temptation and it was TO DIE FOR. You HAVE to try it! The owners were super-nice and were glad we found this place. We'll definitely be back!!

It was simply average ice cream at an extremely expensive price. I got the brownie sundae which was a store bought brownie, heated Hershey’s syrup, a single scoop of ice cream and “homemade” whipped cream from a store can. This was 8 dollars. Total rip off and they didn’t have any classic flavors either. Underwhelmed.

What a fabulous place. Homemade ice cream that is delicious. Probably the best pistachio ice cream I’ve ever had. My wife said the chocolate marshmallow was absolutely to die for. She made us taste almost all flavors, almost all of them were incredible (and I come from Argentina, land of the best ice creams in the world, only after -perhaps- Italy). TL;DR: Lu Lu's ice cream was the best ice cream we ever had in America. Seriously recommend it!

Still, the price does not take away from the quality of the ice cream and service. If you are into carrot cake, this place is for you. When me and my friends first walked in we where greeted by this wonderful lady, my friend asked, “hey, so are you lulu!?” with excitement and curiosity. This wonderful lady, as she held open the door, looked us in the eyes, and with an enticing and welcoming smile replied eagerly, “yes, I am LuLu”. From that point on I knew our experience in this magical smelling small town shop would be one to remember!..... Wow. Stopped to grab a soda at the small c-store, but the smell of fresh-baking goodness was wafting from the small ice cream shop next door, so I had to check it out. I was straight-up blown away with the folks inside— so very kind they wanted to make sure that we understood that their offerings were uniquely constructed and the flavors were hand-spun and homemade. The coconut ice cream was divine, but I elected to get the mint oreo because I was missing my wife and kids on this trip. It was really tasty. I had a great experience inside and I learned that all the waffle cones are made in store — and that’s what initially got my attention to come in! What a great little ice cream shop with great owners. We drove to our first ice cream stop and it was closed before it was suspose to so we ended up at Lu Lu's. Beth and Paul met us at the door and took us in like family. Gave us as many samples as we needed to make our choice, gave us the story of how they make their ice cream and their whole history of how they ended up with Lu Lu's. They dished up a nice serving of ice cream as we continued to talk. We started sharing pictures and talking about our families and even though it was past closing they never once hinted they wanted to go home. The ice cream was wonderful the candy selection was eclectic and was going to grow.
