This place is so good, that we have to wait in the line for at least 20 mins to buy ice cream. There were many flavors and varieties of ice cream available here. I have visited this place twice. The first time I had ordered triple parfait and this time I had ordered banana split with coconut, pistachio and Italian chocolate ice cream. It was mouth watering..! I would definitely recommend this place to all the ice cream lovers.!

Delicious ice cream with gourmet flavors on a quiet lane in busy Winslow. The interior is bright and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Great stop for an afternoon break.

A little ice cream place hidden away. I got the Mora flavor, their signature, and the flavor was excellent, but I really wish there were less seeds. I get it, the berry has seeds, but they didn’t add any flavor or texture and, to me, were just a general nuisance. I would’ve loved the flavor sans seeds. But very delicious.

If you take a ferry to Bainbridge Island, you must stop by for gourmet ice cream here. I had ordered a Blackberry and Lavender ice cream, it was delicious. It is so good that you will have to wait in line to get ice cream but it is worth it. You must stop at this place!

I've eaten a LOT of ice cream in my long lifetime, and I honestly think this is the best ice cream I've ever eaten. Rich but not too rich, and very flavorful. The flavors are unique (with the "comfortable" basic flavors available as well of course) and the ingredients are high-quality. But don't worry when you see the word "unique" - I'm not talking about wildly mismatched crazy flavors like "lemon cajeta bubble gum" but lovely pairings like "dulce de leche with shaved chocolate". For chocolate lovers like me there were several options. And I LOVE that they have cake cones! And gluten-free cones for my celiac friends! Staff were super friendly and didn't rush me at all. I recommend the "split single scoop", which was plenty big enough and lets you try two flavors. I don't travel to Seattle very often but I'm hoping to make the Bainbridge Ferry and Mora Ice Cream regular stops....

We took a quick ferry ride to Bainbridge Island while in Seattle and found this ice cream shop. It was busy the entire time we were there with the line out the door. Always a good sign and it was well worth the wait. Great place for a sweet treat if ice cream is your thing.

Delicious ice cream place in Bainbridge island. I would definitely recommend to try out ice cream here if you are coming to Bainbridge island. We tried the Cheesecake with berries and hazelnut chocolate, both were amazing. There are many different flavors available to try out. They also have sundaes and milkshake. The rates are reasonable considering the quality and quantity.

There ice cream is good, but it’s not as good as the gushing praise you hear around here might suggest. Also, despite offering inside seating, Mora wrongly keeps its bathroom closed to guests. For the first part of the pandemic, Mora claimed the bathroom was closed for health and safety. Then it was “under repair” for countless months. Now you just can’t use it. You have to walk a block to use a public restroom at the little open air mall.

When we arrived, there were about 20 people in line waiting. When we left, there was about 50 (the ferry recently arrived). The ice cream is good, but I don't think I would wait much longer than we did (15 - 20 mins). Pro tip: you can order ahead and go straight to the cashier to pick up, no wait required. In hindsight, I would have done this. Anyways, nice portion sizes and expansive selection of flavors. Give it a try.

Only ice cream we had. We had bailey’s coffee icecream here Expresso mocha, pistachio, chocolate mint and all utterly sublime. I had the cinnamon one…..not for everyone but I like cinnamon so suits me fine;) Great price! $5.85 single scoop . Was a big one

The best ice cream! Cheesecake with swirled raspberry was to die for! Seriously!!! The dark chocolate was good too. A cute little friendly ice cream shop. We had our dog with us, we rode over on the ferry. They had little benches and bistro tables on their sidewalk & it was lovely to hear all the birds singing. They had a few umbrellas to make shade. The other store fronts had water bowls for dogs. This is a must stop.

Once we landed in Bainbridge Island I have seen a couple of mentions about Mora Iced Creamery. Even though I had a heavy lunch, I wanted to try these guys & headed towards there store. It’s not difficult to find, there are obvious sign boards. When asked what’s their signature flavour & I was recommended to try their Swiss Chocolate. Took a scoop on there waffle cone & it was heaven from the first taste. Beautiful rich chocolate with accents of caramel (though not a big fan) made thus creamy, icy ice cream, more delicious. A perfect accompaniment on the journey back to the jetty, especially on a rainy day. Heartily & heavily recommended, don’t miss it.

While visiting Bainbridge Island off Seattle, we decided to get some ice cream. They had a nice indoor space, as well as outdoor seating. It is always nice to have a seating space, especially on a really hot or muggy day. We had a scoop of Banana Split, and Mexican Chocolate. The scoop was quite generous, we each got a nice portion. Banana Split was so good, it really tasted like a banana split! And the Mexican Chocolate was like a “cold hot chocolate” with the spice. Both of them were soooo good! One of the best banana split ice cream around! And I always enjoy a little cold hot chocolate, and this one was pretty darn great. I will definitely visit again!

What a decadent treat! The ice-cream favours here aren't the most innovative ones. But their quality is top-notch. You can immediately feel the quality of the ingredients. Mexican chocolate flavour (chocolate with nutmeg & cinnamon) is luxuriously creamy. It's too sweet to be eaten often. But it's perfect as a once-in-a-blue-moon treat. Cantaloupe sorbet one is good too. Feels like eaten mashed frozen cantaloupe. One scoop in a cup costs $5.40. Considering how the ice-cream's size and this place's location, that isn't bad at all! It's a reasonable price.

Nice ice cream shop tucked away from the main street. Deliciously churned treats with plenty of ice cream, sorbet flavors as well as seasonal selection. Sadly the service was on the slow side as there was only one attendee at the counter, leading to a queue to form all the way outside!

Ice cream was soooo delicious! Prices a touch high...and customer service was just baseline. If you work in a place that has a lot of tourist traffic....workers should probably expect tourist questions (like...what restaurants would you suggest around here.) I know the questions probably get old..but again, it's a tourist area...we can google things...but sometimes its nice to hear the more locals reviews of places. Again, ice cream and variety of flavors...top notch!

Delicious fun flavours will absolutely be going again. I highly suggest to anyone visiting Seattle that they take the Bainbridge fairy to see the skyline and while they’re there to try Mora. This place made the list of places to take my husband in 2018 when showing him the area in an effort to show him it was the right place to relocate. We moved out this way in 2020 and recently took my baby sister visiting from England to try it. I’m not saying the ice cream convinced him to move but I’m not *not* saying that…

This is our go to bakery in bainbridge island. We always get the bread toast, which comes with dollop of butter and tasty homemade jam. I would totally recommend it, I know its basic. But it's super awesome, trust me!

Tried this ice cream shop while on Bainbridge. A bit hard to find but when I finally found it it was worth it. Quick friendly service. A lot of unique sorbet flavors. I with the B.A which was a Dulce De Leche with a swirl. It was so creamy and delicious. Had a coffee undertone which I loved. Great place to try on a warm day in Bainbridge

Mora is always delicious! Their iced creams and fresh fruit sorbets are as good as any other I've had. That said, three stars indicates my expectations were met for this visit. Meeting my expectations earns a solid three stars. Should I have been pleasantly surprised by some aspect of the experience, I would have awarded an additional star, or if exceptional, two. Disappointing me will result in lost stars.

Located on Bainbridge Island. The most amazing seasonal flavor is Lavender. The line goes out the door as this is ‘the spot’ to go to. I happen to stumble on this place and seen the line so the mosey me had to check it out since it had to do with food 🤣 Ironically, I’m lactose intolerant and it didn’t affect my stomach. Not sure if it’s the quality of the mill or my stomach is learning to adapt to my eating.

Got the italian chocolate and was really yummy 😋. We got here in time for the big crowd so was able to get 5 orders in no time. Ample parking outside and parallel street parking are really just mins walk. Process is a bit backwards, comparing to other ice cream shops usually you get the ice cream first then pay, but the sign says otherwise. 🤔

I went to this place because of all the great reviews, somehow my opinion is a little different. Wondering if I missed their most popular flavors. I found them too strong and too sweet & saturating for my taste. I tried BA and Swiss chocolate. I've had better. I'll try some other flavor next time. Long line but worth the wait. We got the molten cake with Swiss chocolate ice cream. The Swiss chocolate had chocolate shavings with dulce de leche mixed in which went well with the molten cake.

Listen to this! We visited two weeks ago Seattle and rain forest with my husband. And on the way back to Seattle when we were waiting for the ferry, we tried MORA ice cream (flavor mora) and it was beyond goooooood. Now back to New York City, my husband made a surprise and ordered ice cream delivery from MORA. I got it today! Omg! We can try another flavors!!! And believe me, I ate a lot of ice creams in my life, I’m from Europe and my favorite are Italian ones, but MORA is to die for !

Definitely one of the best ice cream (gelato) places I've been in the States! (And I've had gelato in Italy and all over Western Europe). It comes very close to my favorite gelato place (Amorino). They have a great selection of flavors (anything from french vanilla to mojito, cheesecake with raspberry) and even house made fudge. Definitely check it out if you like ice cream. And c'mon, who doesn't like it in the Summer!

I love taking my family here to get premium ice cream with unique local and seasonal flavors. Our favorite is the cheesecake brownie ice cream, but everything i've tried by them has been delicious. Only downside is parking can be limited at their locations and it can get pretty busy.

Great selection of ice creams (including non dairy). I had the Dulce de Leche which was the best mix of milk and caramel flavor. They also let me try samples of the mora and the Irish coffee flavors which were both so delicious. Highly recommend their ice cream!

Ordered two scoops of dark chocolate and dark chocolate mint ice cream in a cup. It was good. Now, I'm a plain jane when it comes to ice cream so regular flavors from B&Js, Tillamook and Haagen Daz' are all I need to satisfy my ice cream fix. So if you're like me, Mora will not be in your 'must try list.' There are more than enough artisanal ice creameries peppered around Seattle for you. But, if you fancy yourself an ice cream connoisseur, then take the ferry and cross the Sound for Bainbridge's yummy frozen treat. Tips: Park at the ferry terminal and walk to downtown (10-15 mins leisurely) - feel less guilty for scarfing down all the ice cream treat you can't help yourself to. Cheap lunch or dinner at the hot foods section of Town & Country market also in downtown. Bring extra cash (some stores are cash only).

Lovely local ice cream store in Bainbridge. Less than 10 minute walk from the pier. Strawberry sorbet & Cheese cake ice cream are nice! Good place to get something fresh during your walk in downtown.

Such good ice cream!! I went with a large group and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Every flavor was so good! Definitely a must go to place when going to Bainbridge island!!! I had the cheesecake with raspberry jam and speculoos. So yummy!

Spectacular place. The first ice cream shop that we have been to that had Gluten-Free ice cream cones. Majority of there ice cream is Gluten-Free. I felt so safe with eating it and watching the staff do everything they can to not cross contaminate. 1 scoop is huge. Well worth it!

I read the reviews on their site and was definitely expecting a little more. The ice cream was good, but not worth the hype in my opinion. We tried the chocolate hazelnut, cheesecake with brownie, mojito sorbet, and raspberry sorbet. The raspberry was definitely the best, but I wouldn’t get the others again. The store employees were really nice and helpful though!

I don’t know what Mora does to their ice cream, but I’ve never been let down on any flavor (there are a lot.) It’s to the point where I don’t care how long the line is, if I’m on Bainbridge I must have some Mora.

Outstanding ice cream. Server was not very friendly though. I got the raspberry and Mexican chocolate. It is expensive, but the portions are big. The raspberry was phenomenal and the Mexican chocolate was delicious. The texture was just right and it was not too sweet. Highly recommend.

Amazing ice cream, though the line gets a little long. Make sure to ask for plenty of samples before you make your mind up and remember that you can always get two flavours in a "single scoop".

Creamy, luscious and scrumptious. The pistachio and strawberry flavors were superbly crafted. Mora clearly blended actual strawberries and pistachios into the ice cream and used a minimum of essence, which naturally leads to superior ice cream. Best ice cream ever. Worth the trip to Bainbridge, and worth the premium price. It is very rich, so I recommend starting with a "single," which you can split into two flavors if you want. My favorite combo is chocolate-peanut-butter-moreo with brownie-cheesecake!

As a child, we spent many years growing up and picking raspberries on our grandparents berry farm on Bainbridge Island so I had to get the raspberry cone! Coming back for Mora this!!

My husband and I are visiting Seattle for the first time and met some really nice people who advised us to take the Ferry to Bainbridge Island and visit Mora. Everyone was so friendly in the shop. I loved the three sorbet flavors I tried — it seemed like there was a lot of fruit in them! But, while that made them tasty, it made the texture uneven and soft. The ice cream’s texture was smooth and dense, but the flavor wasn’t quite as standout as the sorbet. The waffle cone was all right. The shop itself was cute, but all the tables were sticky and crumby, which was unappetizing, but it was too cold to enjoy it outside.

Amazing ice cream. We tried 4 different flavors and each one was excellent. The staff was fine, but I find it a bit tacky to ask if the customer wants to tip. Just put up a sign or something less forward.

After having some difficulties at the Poulsbo location earlier in the day (with their grainy pistachio ice cream that they said was perfectly fresh and normal) we decided to give it another go and end the day at this location before we headed out to take the ferry. While getting our ice cream my mom told them about what happened at Poulsbo and they took it seriously saying that, that meant the pistachio actually was going bad and that they want to have a talk with them. So yeah, the people who work here are very considerate and sweet cause even we didn’t think it was that big of a issue at first. As for their ice cream, that’s a no brainer, they have the best ice cream in the pnw, I personally love their Swiss chocolate and their classic Mora flavor.

Just amazing. I had no idea there was such a thing as "iced cream," much less that it was so much better than ice cream! I had a hard time making a decision, but the staff was super nice and accommodating. Just a heads up that you should bring some cash for the tip jar. If you pay with a credit card, there's no opportunity to add a tip, and the staff definitely deserves it! If there's a line, it's totally worth the wait.

Ice cream is one of my favorites, so I've tried many brands & places all around the country. This place is the best I've ever had, EVER! Quality is just the best! Premium ingredients & no skimping on things like nuts, chocolate chips or berries that might be part of the recipes While I heard about the well-deserved crowds at this place, I went shortly after opening on a Saturday morning & it had absolutely no line. I paid first, as others noted, then a very nice, helpful staff really did let me to try any and nearly all flavors, probably close to 10, before I picked the double scoops I paid for earlier . Note-they'll allow the splitting of a single scoop into 2 , so by getting a double scoop, you can actually get 4 different flavors & the split portions are close to a full scoop! Will visit this place every time I am in Bainbridge! Go earlier in the day to avoid the crowds to make for much more enjoyable visit!

Their ice creams are very very good - rich and creamy. They are also very generous with their portions. It is sad that they are all the way in Bainbridge island. I would have gone here much more often if they had branches in Seattle.

It's nearly impossible to choose.😂 we have a sail boat at Elliot bay near the cruise ship terminal and we always sail over for the afternoon there's a park by the waters edge and a cute little town to explore and you can easily get the ferry to bainbridge island from the Seattle terminal I would recommend this place to anyone with kids or just wants to have a fun day/evening I would recommend eagle bay an Mora ice cream!!🍦🍦😀😘

When we were checking out Bainbridge we had to see what all the hype was about for this place. Very long line outside for their ice cream. I feel they kind of have the counter set up backwards because you pay first then pick your ice cream. They were out of so many flavors (more than half). My boyfriend ordered a vanilla milkshake she rang it up and then we mentioned that there was a dot for vanilla ice cream and asked if we can still get a shake. She then realized that they were out and we had to change our order. What would have happened if she rang up a vanilla milkshake, charged us then we went to order it and were told after paying that they were out of the only flavor we wanted? Seems backwards. And how can you be out of vanilla?! We got a scoop of orangcicle ice cream instead. It was good but not sure the 45 minute wait in 90 degree weather was worth it.

Not only do they have the staple ice-creams, they have some good selection of gourmet ones too. If you don't like anything off the menu, the polite staff will be more than glad to whip up a custom one for you. Probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The dulce de leche with chocolate shavings is so good. They have like 4-5 different types of cone choices and when you ask for it in a cup one scoop is like 4-6 ounces. It’s very generous. The chocolate fudge sauce is thick and good it’s actually great. Instead of chocolate chips they do chocolate shavings. I really like that. They give out samples too.

It's kind of a strange business template. You pay for a size first and then sample, after done sampling the people who are handling the Ice cream (separate from the cashier that you have already visited) ask what size you brought.... There's nothing stopping you from saying something different to the scooper compared to the cashier... It's kind of confusing if it's a double or single scoop bowl because either way you can get two different kinds of I've cream. But either way their product is unmatched. Delish ice cream!

If you're on Bainbridge Island and it's at all warm, make the trip to Mora. They have, in all honesty, some of the best ice cream in town, decadent and smooth. I originally wrote about a negative experience I had at Mora but after being in contact with Mora’s Chief Brand Officer in regards to the review and our experience, I must admit our negative experience must have been in isolated experience. Mora completely turned around our negative night at the Bainbridge location and have earned another very happy customer. I even have gone to their website about ordering their product and having it sent to us half way across the US as their ice cream – is that good! I can’t give enough kudos to this location for turning around the bad experience and making it a good one. This place is great – thanks again!

I was so determined not to have too many sweets today. But then we came to Bainbridge and I realized I was near Mora. I can't leave Seattle and not give them a try! I was mostly drawn in my the Chocolate PB Moreo - chocolate ice cream with swirls of PB and chunks of Oreo. I sampled first, as I always do, and it did not disappoint! However, I needed to do just a little more investigating before choosing the one and only flavor meant for me!! I have to say that the Cheesecake Brownie and the Banana Split flavors were both quite impressive. But at the end of the day, that PB was calling out to me! I got one scoop and it was pretty sizeable. This ice cream is UBER creamy and smooth! The chocolate was rich, the PB was plentiful and salty and the Oreos were in softened and decent- sized chunks! And I have to say that I haven't seen this flavor offered anywhere else, so it's definitely going down in the books for me! Give them a visit!!

Great day trip from Seattle; grab a Seattle/Windslow ferry and walk into town for the best ice cream around. While I grab a pint of Stracciatella my wife goes to Church Mounce across the way.
