Tasty gelato that melts in your mouth! they’re pretty generous with their scoops even in the small cup. It’s got a very nice, clean, air conditioned interior with good vibes. I got one scoop raspberry and one scoop strawberry which were both delicious

Stopped by here on my way back from a trip into downtown and the quality of the gelato is out of this world. The best of the best in terms of dessert in Seattle is right here for sure. I ordered the cappuccino and the new flavor whilst my girlfriend ordered the Creme Brulee and Tiramisu flavor. All were stellar!

Portion was decent for a small and Gelato was flavorful. Had a slice of the diplomatica cake as well and it was good. I give it 4 stars because the selection of Gelato flavors was very small in comparison to other stores with Gelato in the name especially after trekking through downtown Seattle to find the place. Staff was nice.

Sweet, creamy, delicious you can get two flavors in a small. It's a generous portion. My favorite was the rice flavor (which isn't something you see a lot in the US)! Pistachio was a closer second. They also have a selection of gelato cakes and cookies.

Gelato was very good but the most impressive was the strawberry cookie. I usually don’t get cookies from dessert stores because they rarely taste good. I was lucky that I tried this time. I look forward to getting other desserts from this store.

It’s not the cheapest gelato but it definitely stands out from others. The both rice and peppermint have actual “rice and peppermint” in it.

Delicious gelato! Lots of great flavors, and they are so kind to let you taste as many as you want. I had chocolate and maple pecan. They both were delicious! The staff are kind and friendly. A small one has two scoops, which is difficult to finish for one person. Great location, close to Pike Place market. The only downside is that they don't accept American Express cards.

I have only gotten their Gelato through pagliacci. My favorite is the chocolate chip cookie dough and mint chocolate chip. It is so flavorful, smooth, so creamy, it melts in your mouth. Seriously addictive, I wish it came in larger containers than pints!

After a spicy meal & long walk from Pioneer Square, we were craving something sweet & entered {Gelatiamo} to sample some of their offerings. After trying both Chocolate Hazelnut & Cappuccino, I took a scoop each from this Gelato place. Both were super smooth & had excellent flavours. While the Cappuccino had mild but noticeable coffee flavour, I still loved the Chocolate Hazelnut more, primarily cause of the crunch hazelnut pieces in the smooth & creamy chocolate gelato. These guys have a lot more flavours to offer & will take some more visits to do justice to the entire offering.

Authentic and superb artisanal gelato and cakes. There's a wide (but not huge...which is a good sign) selection of flavors, which change on a daily basis (another good sign). My favorite flavors so far: pistacchio, salted almond and chocolate, gianduia and zabaione. Seattle is lucky to have Maria (the owner) and Gelatiamo!!

This is my go-to place to get gelato. Its to dies for, the service is excellent as well. They seem to have some core flavors that are always available (like the rice one that i always get), but they also continually rotate some other flavors weekly/daily (like chocolate stout, wine custard, and sometimes green tea). Highly recommend all the flavors i mentioned along with the yogurt and berries flavor too. Cozy place that does get popping at rush hours.

It was so busy when we went there, but the staff was doing their best despite the crowds inside this tiny shop. Probably you won’t always find a seat, so expect to take your treat to go. But big shout out to the crew running this place who were friendly and helpful. Gelato was delicious.

Best Gelato in Seattle hands down!!! Love all of their gelato flavors, cookies and the pastries are delicious and all made fresh in house. My husband loves ice cream cakes and for his birthday I always order from Gelatiamo and nowhere else. I highly recommend this place; everything I've ever had here has been amazing!

Very cute aesthetic place on the corner of a street. Four stars because they didn't have a bathroom for customers to use in there store. Serving size of gelato was small but very delicious and unique flavours. For a medium sized cup you get 2 scoups of icecream

It was ok. They allowed us to try as many flavors as we like which was nice and the lady that helped us was friendly. The only thing was the flavors had a wired after taste to me which that could have just been me because my sister liked it. I did settle for the raspberry and it was good. Buy the way we shared and each got their own scoop.

Cute Cafe, Bakery, and gelato store. All I got was one of their puff pastry interpretations of a beignet, and it was quite delicious. No fuss, decent prices and relaxing atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more!

Hands down the best tasting gelato in Seattle!!! The quality of the distinct flavor of each gelato is so on point, smooth, and fresh. Two scoops for $5.xx, three scoops for $7.xx, $12 for pints. Try their affogato (gelato and espresso shot). Dine-in is allowed, they have other pastries and gelato cakes I also buy their pints at pagliacci pizza and metropolitan market. Gelato was quite tasty. The chocolate was very chocolatey (in the best way), the hazelnut with the chocolate tasted exactly like a ferrero rocher. Creme brulee delicious and all of the ice cream was very creamy. The only complaint is their smalls aren't very small.

Nice little spot, no WiFi though. Their rice flavor and cappuccino flavors are really good. Moderately priced for the sizes... a small will get you two scoops that you can have as different flavors. The only thing is they don’t bus tables very quickly, and the woman working the counter was very pushy. I felt really rushed when trying samples, she asked me whether I wanted a “small or medium” three times while I was still deciding.

Number one place to go in Seattle if you are an ice-cream fan. The best is probably 3 scoops, if you order more it may be too sweet for one coffee. There is no reason to write which one is better because all of the flavors are absolutely stunning.

Lovely gelato place in Seattle downtown. Walked in and tried their famous rice+pistachio and hazelnut+chocolate small scoops (gives u an option to pick 2 flavors) with waffle cone. My favourites were the pistachio and hazelnut. The rice flavor was different, it had bits of cooked rice in it but was not very flavorful and it had a different texture. It was nice to pair with the delicious pistachio flavor but would not enjoy eating the rice flavor alone. Thats my personal opinion. The hazelnut was delicious and the chocolate was nice and rich too. The waffle cone was nice crunchy as expected. They have loads of indoor and a few tables outside. Service was great too. Ill come back to try their strawberry sorbey and other flavors.

Very delicate ice cream infused desserts. Some light and sweet options with some very heavy very creamy and filling options as well. Overall the ice cream was made with love and care and they switch up the menu occasionally so that you can taste all the flavors of the seasons. Go there now and check out the ice cream.

The flavors and quality of the gelato here is superb! I got the lemon gelato and the raspberry gelato and they were so tasty. The lemon was nice and sharp in tartness while the raspberry was fruity and sweet. This is the place my family likes to go when they are visiting me in town. Simply the best! Cheers :)

The store was very nice and the employee we interacted with was very friendly and helpful, and made great recommendations. We had the cannolis and diplomatica cake, along with a macchiato and a chai tea. It was all delicious and a great start to the day.

Customer service is ALWAYS so pleasant! The Gelato cakes, the delicious 😋 finger treats are to die for! I TRULY Love this place! ALL of their treats are oh so delightful! Extra yummy gelato with excellent customer service! The flavors are amazing. The other day, I had a medium sized cup with three flavor: rice, strawberry, & green tea. Many other flavor options. Great place to have a nice espresso drink. Well-designed space. Modern interior seating. When it's warm, they open their outdoor section. Grateful for the plastic partitions, hand sanitizer, and napkins at the register.

The gelato was soooo delicious!! My fav is lemon sorbet and salty caramel gelato!!!! Love the chocolate too very dark and creamy!! So delicious! They have a rotating selection of fruit based gelato (my favorite) as well as "sweeter" options like chocolate and caramel, etc. They also have seasonal flavors like this month's Pride flavor which was lovely. There is a small area for outdoor seating which is perfect for good weather. Overall a great place to stop if you're in the area! It's also right on the way to Pike's Place so perfect for a sweet treat after some shopping.

Wow! My family and I fell in love with this place while visiting my sister in Seattle. Having lived in Europe for several years, we are always on the search for the best gelato in the USA. We found it! We told my sister to come try it, and she became a huge fan. Not only is their menu delicious, but their customer service is outstanding. We had to cancel plans for my sister’s big birthday due to covid. I wanted to send her something special, so I emailed to see if any companies deliver for Gelatiamo. They not only emailed me back promptly, but they called and offered to deliver a cake and gelato pints for me! They went so above and beyond to make my sister and me happy. Thank you! Some of the best Gelato I've ever had, hands down. I ordered a "small" that came with two scoops. After tasting nearly all of their wide flavors and realizing I couldn't just take the lot, I chose Chocolate Coconut and Pumpkin. Both were full of flavor, creamy, and not just a ball of sugar. There was an excellent texture and complexity to it. On the way out I bough a box of assorted cookies for my family and they devoured them later that evening, so I'm guessing that those are also excellent. Great shop and definitely a must-visit

Some of the best gelato I've had in the US. Asked if the sizes allowed for multiple flavors and found out the large provides 4. Little did I know it was 4 whole scoops! Tried the Pistachio, Red Velvet, Chocolate and Strawberry. The Red Velvet was good but nothing outstanding. The other 3 however, were fantastic! Strawberry tasted full of fruity sweetness. The Pistachio had a delightful and fragrant nutty taste. The Chocolate was rich and full of dark chocolate flavor.

This place is the real deal. Not only is the gelato super excellent, they come up with some unique flavors that are great. The inside is upscale yet casual, and there are no homeless people hanging around. The pastries are good and all made downstairs. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Prices are great for the location.

Come here for the waffle cones. They're the best waffle cones I've ever had. I should know, I worked at a ma and pa ice cream shop 10 years ago....so I know. Don't come here and expect to only sample one flavor. You'll want to sample all of them.

If you want REAL ice cream, then this is the place to go to when in town. They have fantastic choices and they have great coffee and desserts too. My fiance and I just shared a medium sized gelato which comes in 3 flavors of your choice. We had red velvet, chocolate coconut and tiramisu. So yummy!

Wonderful little store with a perfect selection of treats. Unlike many other sweets shops, they have a simple selection of what they do best, and the results are amazing. I strongly recommend a scoop of the rice gelato (yes, I said rice) paired with a scoop of traditional chocolate. The rice is especially fulfilling if you have just eaten at Wild Ginger opposite Gelatiamo on 3rd St. After eating here, I can honestly say "gelato, I love you!"

I wish I had pictures but the pastries and gelato were too incredible to think about pictures. Such incredible flavors. I especially liked the cream puffs. This is a must for dessert for anyone living or visiting Seattle. Easy to get to after some delicious food in pikes market. Sample the gelato first. Most flavors are amazing but some might not be a flavor for you. Flavors change frequently so feel free to go often. Worth it every time.

The location is super convenient if you are going to a show downtown. The gelato is okay, I can usually find one flavor I like. But I'm always surprised at how many of the flavors I don't like. I don't have this problem at other gelato shops in town...

Came here on a random stroll once. My god, it was the best thing I think I ever had. Started off with a cannoli and a pastry I had learned about, “diplomatica.” Hot chocolate to add on a cold and rainy day. Let me tell you what, I was there again later that day because I could not stop thinking about how good it was. it made me crave more. The gelato is amazing. The pistachio and creme brûlée mix is to die for. As well as the experience diplomatica really provides you with that crumbly outside and creamy and soothing inside. Comfort in every bite, regardless of what you get.

I've been to so many gelaterias but this one is by far the best ever. The girls working there are super nice and have a great service attitude, and they are fast on serving you. The flavors overall are what you would find in any handmade gelateria but they have some flavors that for sure you wouldn't think would be as amazing as they are. The best choice: honey lavender. You will see how amazing it tastes after only one spoonful.

I was in Seattle during PAX Prime and I went here a few times to try out their coffee and gelato. The cafe latte I had was amazing, super good flavor. The blackberry and lemon gelato I had both times I went was also amazing and super delicious. The service was great too. They were more than happy to give out samples and help decide which coffee I wanted to buy.

I have been coming here 7 years plus. They make great Gelato cakes for office birthday/work anniversary celebrations. I love the coconut and the chocolate stout. My favorite thing to get here for an afternoon pick me up is an affogato (espresso shot over a scoop of gelato). The staff provides excellent service. If you can't get to their downtown Seattle location you can always go to a Pagliacci Pizza and pick up a pint there.

Staff was unusually gracious and cordial for the city late at night. They handled sudden crowds with patience and proactivity, and smaller parties - and those like me wanting to try all the flavors - with similar kindness. The gelato is decent and served beautifully. The latte steamed to a perfection I rarely find, espresso nutty and good. Prices at market rate for Seattle: $4 for the gelato, $3 for an 8oz latte. Try the rice gelato flavor. It's sweet and refreshing.

And along with that newfoody came a rude attitude that I would ask if they had chocolate in the back. Hands down--The BEST gelato in town! Until I find something better, I'll keep coming back. I needed myself a treat after finishing yet another performance review and delivering it to one my direct reports and by golly, there isn't a better place than GELATIAMO! I come here solely for my ultimate favorite flavor: Rice/Riso. It's smooth, creamy, has the perfect sweetness, and I simply LOVE the texture of the rice on each and every bite! Rice is my thang. I have to have rice with almost every meal. It's extremely difficult to eat a meal without it. I know, it sounds a little weird (maybe a lot weird), having rice paired up with gelato, but for some reason, it does it for me. Call me a weirdo or whatever, but come try it before you knock it! Just in case you won't like it, I suggest you pick a second flavor (that you think you might like), with you order so it won't be a total disappointment...lookin' out. Oh, almost forgot to mention the affogato another favorite of mine. I lied, I go here for two things, haha! This location has 16 different flavors to choose from. All look amazing and worth checking out. You can sample the flavors of you can't decide visually, what to get. There are 8 tables with 2-3 chairs per table inside and about 6 tables outside with 2-3 chairs. The ambiance is relaxing and refreshing. Great place to chill for a little while. It sits at the corner of the block and there are a lot of cars and pedestrian traffic. So if you're one of those peeps that enjoy and entertained by these things, then this is a great spot for that. This shop is clean and the staff are helpful and freindly. They serve coffee, and offer a variety of other things including: cakes, cookies, biscotti, baked goods, and other dessert items (see my photo uploads) to satisfy your sinful cravings :-o. On top of that, they have background music playing and can that help put you in a good and happy mood. I mean, what more can you ask for, right?

I went here to treat myself with dessert on my bday, and the lady in the store was happy enough to offer me to try out and taste all the gelato flavor because I couldn't make up my mind. The best place for Italian desserts in Seattle. I haven't had a single bad gelato flavor here. This place is fairly ethical - if you're into that - as they source most of their ingredients from Washington. They also bake their own Italian pastries (which are all delicioso) on-site. The location is staffed by the loveliest and sweetest women who will help you with your flavor combination dilemmas when getting two scoops. There is limited seating available on busy days, but they will pack pints for to-go orders. Waffle cones are only a $.50 upgrade, which seems like a no-brainer to me. Always get a waffle cone when offered. It's rare that they have mint chip, but if they ever do, get it. Otherwise, you really can't go wrong with anything else. Peach is one of my favorites, but it's seasonal. Try some samples and find the ideal two-or-three scoop combo. Just remember what Larry David said: don't be a sample abuser.

I'll start with this. Going to Gelatiamo is an Indulgence. High Quality, Good Taste, with a bit of a price tag. We're talking a bit more expensive than Haagen Daaz. Don't let that turn you away. Their gelato has both an excellent taste (even the slightly strong flavors) as well as being very high quality. That's why I call it an Indulgence. If you're on a Diet, it will berate you for your transgressions. Their pastries are nothing to scoff at either, so don't pass up trying some of them out. They range all the way from nice soft and flaky to a very smooth and tasty filling. I've yet to be disappointed with their pastries, even if I haven't tried them all (yet).

Chose a dessert with fruit on top which looked nice. It was so hard I wasn't able to eat it. After my plastic spoon broke in half while trying to eat it I took it back to the counter to tell them it wasn't edible. They said it's kept frozen at -20° and I needed to wait a few minutes for it to thaw. I already had. The other 3 adults and 2 children I was with had finished all their gelato by this point. They replaced it with a small scoop of gelato. Why sell ice cream frozen so hard it can't be eaten while in the shop? If it's meant to be eaten 30 to 40 minutes later have it labeled to that effect and say something instead of making your customers frustrated with their order.
