I have been coming here since I was a child. This is the only place that I will buy water ice from. The quality has stayed consistent. They have lots of fun flavors and the taste never disappoints. The pizza pretzels are delicious too.

Been coming here since childhood! When I come to town in the summer I always make my way and I’m not disappointed! They are always polite and courteous. I love that they have kids working in there....And the beef pepperoni option is a plus!!!

Summer staple. There's nothing like having Tranzilli's water ice and an authentic Philly pretzel toasted with sliced of cheese. I'm a lifelong fan. And in recent years they've begun taking credit/debit cards for payment. Pro tip: whichever size water ice you choose ask for it in a cup the next size up. That way you get your full serving portion and less mess, especially when driving.

My family and I have been coming here for years because this was our favorite place to get water ice. It's been a nice while since my last visit until recently. The water ice that I had (green apple) for some reason doesn't taste the same and the cheese pretzel wasn't as good as it used to be. The pretzel is always toasted but this time around it was just hard. Disappointing.

Real Philly water ice and the best soft pretzels! The cheese pretzel is toasted with a slice of American cheese on top. The water ice is scooped and not slushy. Sweet enough and not syrupy like some other water ice spots. Definitely one of Philly's gems!

Enjoyed the Blueberry and Red Raspberry. Cherry is in the freezer for later. Mango Gelati tasted like CreamSicle which is not a bad thing. Grape had an aftertaste. Bluberry was okay.

OMG! You have not had a pretzel until you've had a pepperoni pretzel from here! So fabulous and bursting with flavor. This was topped with mozzarella cheese then pepperoni and baked to perfection, yum! The water ice was extremely pleasing to taste, sweet, cold and so delicious!

During a pandemic the fact I see some of you bashing the workers at this establishment is astonishing. I apologized yesterday for some of the ways I saw customers attitudes towards workers. Coming up to the window with no mask on and have the nerve to bash a worker about the wait. I’ve been coming to Tranzillis for years! And never once had a bad experience. The workers are quick and swift with orders. The young man told me it’s the quart orders that take long. Wait your turn if it’s 10 people in line what do you expect for everyone to be done quick and easy. I would hate to put up with some of the attitudes I see people display to these young people. Y’all so quick to bash them! Try being in there position for once.

As a Philadelphia native I must say Tranzilli’s has THE best water ice in the city. Hands down! 🙌🏽 This is not up for debate. Literally the best water ice. I’ve traveled a lot of places and the quality is unparalleled. I hear about the other places Philadelphians rave about and I’m honestly not impressed! Tranzilli’s is it. Don’t even get me started on that cheese pretzel. I could go for days. 😊💘😩🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Tranzilli’s has been around forever and I love their pretzels and water ice but the kids they are hiring today are so rude and have a horrible demeanor about them. Whoever is hiring them needs to let them know they are representing the company and shouldn’t be in customer service if they’re going to have a bad attitude

I've grown-up in West Oak Lane since 1957. I returned to this area 16 years ago. I've been going to Tranzillis for the last 6 summers as I drive right pass Ritas(No comparison - hands down)lol. Tranzilli's is family owned, great customer service and has the best water ice and pretzels(toasted and cheese) in the city. You've been standing in the wrong line at Rita's. Robin from Sumerville. Getting a bucket for my birthday, too!

Can't say much about the decor since I only stopped by for Water Ice last summer, but now that Rocco's Italian Ice is no longer in business, I think I'll be making trips to Tranzilli more often when I want water ice instead of going to Ritas. Not that I hate Ritas, but if that's the only water ice you've ever had, then you're missing out on some GREAT stuff. If you're in the Germantown/West Oak Lane/Mt. Airy area, then a trip to Tranzilli during Spring and Summer will be more than worth it.

It's still good quality products, however; my recent visit was literally 30 mins from line to order to receive. It was only 2 customers ahead of me with minimal orders as well. They lost 2 customers that came after us. It makes you wonder how many were lost throughout the day. There were 3 people working that I could see. The young employees definitely need training or a system in place. The hotter days, they'll definitely be overwhelmed!
