Their Espresso Brownie ice cream is really good, just very rich in flavor so I’d pair it with a plain flavor next time to offset. Also I really like the decor here (pretty gold accents). Come check it out!

Dropped in during a little visit to Magazine St. This is truly exceptional ice cream. Rivals the best I've had, including Toscanini's in Cambridge MA. Mexican chocolate has a real kick but at a level that's just right. Mix with peppermint bark and it's sublime. Did not have a chance for any extras on this visit but would add next time. If it's this good on a dreary mid-December day, I can't imagine what it's like on a warm summer afternoon. You won't regret it.

It's like time traveling to the past! The decor and presentation is quite whimsical of times past. The mint ice cream was refreshing in a taste never had before. The chocolate shake was also worth a $10 dollar shake.

This was a “new-to-me” place I noticed while walking down Magazine Street. I’d just had lunch, but no dessert, so a look and some ice cream seemed like a pretty good idea. Very clean, cute place. I loved the blue and white color scheme. Kelsey, the young woman working was very pleasant and believe she said the place had been open for less than two years. I asked for her ice cream flavor recommendation, and she offered, “Toasted Coconut Dark Chocolate Ganache Swirl”, so that’s what I got. I mean, doesn’t that sound delicious? It was!

Easy to find and cute atmosphere. I came here after ramen because the ramen spot didn't have dessert. There could be more diversity of flavors. I settled on roasted strawberry. That was good. I also liked the home made waffle cone. It had a nice crunch and it was fresh. Would come back!

I usually don’t leave reviews but I absolutely have to for this spot. When I say this is the best ice cream I’ve ever had, I absolutely mean it. Holy hell. The espresso brownie flavor blew me away. So gooey and rich, but also super creamy and smooth. The perfect chunks of brownie in every bite. I am simply so impressed with this place. As I do not live in NOLA and am only visiting, I am deeply saddened to know that I can’t take this back home with me. You MUST try this place!!!

This place is truly spectacular. I got a recommendation from a friend to check it out and I’m glad I did. I got the Lavender London Fog ice cream and it was amazing, and the Mint Chocolate was great as well. Definitely recommend anyone check this place out.

Waffle cone=amazing. Cookies and cream with the brown butter cookie dough=perfect combo. Flavors are super rich but not overwhelming- as a self proclaimed ice cream sleuth and connoisseur. I give this place my stamp of approval. Oh and friendly staff with the cutest decor gives it an over 5 star rating. For me at least.

Best ice cream by far that I have ever had. It is so creamy and fresh. Roasted strawberry and cookies and cream is the best combo. We would come here every night if it was closer to our house. Infinitely better than creole creamery. SO GOOD.

Absolutely exceptional ice cream. I've been excited all week to try the "back to school" seasonal flavors, and they were well worth the wait! The pb&j has the perfect ratios of each, as well as pieces of toasted bread, which makes it really stand out. Service is always friendly. By far my favorite ice cream shop in the city.

We walked in the door and were immediately enveloped in the smell of freshly made waffle cones; heavenly. We had been looking for real ice cream since we arrived in NOLA Thursday afternoon and this is THE place. We stopped by last night but they were closed due to making some upgrades but we were told to come back today and that it would be worth it; it WAS! We were given samples of their decadent flavors; chocolate, roasted strawberry, toasted coconut and speculoos, to name a few. I chose the Speculoos and Chocolate (in a delicious waffle cone) and my boyfriend had the Mexican Hot Chocolate and the Creole Cream Cheese flavors in a cup. The portions are very generous and priced just right. Imagine a rich chocolate where you can 'taste' the delicate flakes of chocolate in every bite and that is how I would describe their chocolate ice cream; it was by far THE best chocolate ice cream I have EVER had, hands down. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed. If we were locals, I know where you could find us at least once a week.

It was hot and I wanted to get some ice cream and sit in the nearby park with my dog. All the ice cream looked amazing, but I really wanted the salted caramel no matter what :) The guy who worked here was super nice and even made a tiny whipped cream for my dog, even noticing that she's stupid small and made her a tiny one. My ice cream was delicious and more than I could eat even though i got the second smallest cup. 5 stars :)

I’m a Midwest boy who has enjoyed much of the freshest ice cream that dairy farms have to offer. But these all pale in comparison to the delicious, delectable, rich, creamy ice creams that Kelsey whips up at Parish. When guests come into town and ask what sites they need to see, I tell them to skip Bourbon street, forget the WWII museum, kiss Frenchman farewell, and go directly to Parish. I’m especially fond of the espresso brownie and their summer seasonal blackberry cheesecake flavors.

I got two different flavors in one scoop. It was really good. I had the peppermint bark and cookies & cream flavor. It was very soft and the flavor was divine. There were so many flavors and I wish I could try them all. The employee was very friendly and patient as I thought about what I should order. The vibes are very chill. The area was very clean. I can't wait to come again.

Excellent! I got the Lavender London Fog it taste just like the TEA. I was blown away. The waffle cone was fresh and just the right crunch. The lady I was with got the Cardamom Saffron, she said her's was fantastic as well. Great service, cute store, such a relaxing atmosphere.

Fantastic ice cream with fresh ingredients. The mint tasted like fresh mint. Espresso Brownie and Cookies and Cream were also amazing. Has a great mouth feel - stretchy like booza (middle eastern ) ice cream which is difficult to find. A must try !!!!!

I LOVE this place! I’ve stopped in for ice cream a few times (my favorite is the cardamom). The place is not far from where I live, and I found out today (called ahead) that they would allow me to bring my dogs in! Oh boy - that means we might be going even more frequently now that I know we can stop in our our daily walks! The nice person behind the counter even offered my pups a treat!!!!!

I don't kid around about ice cream. This place is delicious. I had the coconut fudge ice cream, and it was so smooth with rich, not overly sweet chocolate chunks. Perhaps the best part, though, are the waffle cones. I would (and may) come here just to eat a plain waffle cone -- that's how good they are. Also, they're very dog-friendly and give out pup-cups. Love this place!

Parish Parlor is the finest ice cream I have ever tasted, no question. The amount of detail and thought that clearly goes toward making each of the varieties amazes me every time I come here. Everything is made in shop and everything is delicious with incredible fresh flavors. I especially enjoy their pecan pie ice cream but they do the basics so well- vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, that I’d recommend not skipping over them. If you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out!!!

Just tried a scoop of the mint chocolate chip and it was the best mint chocolate chip I’ve ever had in my life. It’s made in-house and that means real mint! So if you like the taste of real mint, get it!

Very unique items. They look plain, but it's not. Not at all plain. The chocolate ice cream is textured even though it's really simple looking. They do a great job in hiding the surprise. Stop the presses -- the coffee bean ice cream is white like snow but trust me it's coffee. Location is a bit far from others. And the scoop size is okay not generous like Creole Creamery. They also have chairs outside.

This place had great vegan ice cream options! The ice cream wasn't too sweet either, it was just right. This is a great place to grab a scoop or two and then wander around on Magazine to check out some of the shops nearby OR just hang out in the ice cream shop for a bit and cool off, especially when it's hot and humid outside.

A lovely ice cream parlor on Magazine. Finally, an ice cream parlor in the LGD! They have a delicious Belgian chocolate flavor and housemade waffle cones that are the best I've ever had. They seem to have about 16 flavors to choose from, including vegan options. As it Christmas they had a gingerbread cone that was very tasty. Friendly service, a nice atmosphere, and it's feels very adult. They may have seating in the rear.

Great guys with an inspiring background. Handmade ice cream with some unique flavors. We stopped in for hot chocolate since it was 40 degrees outside, but we sampled a few flavors of the ice cream. Hot chocolate was extremely sweet but enjoyable.

It may sound like an exaggeration, but Parish has some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted. All of the flavors I've tried are bold and full-flavored; no non-committal weak attempts here. And they are all incredible. The salted caramel I got last night tasted like I've always imagined salted caramel SHOULD taste like but disappointingly never does. And finally a butter pecan that doesn't just taste like vanilla with a couple of nuts thrown in. Bravo!

I was lucky enough to be a "beta tester" for some of their ice cream. Yummy! The blackberry cobbler was awesome and the Mexican hot chocolate was kind of addictive - started out with a rich chocolate cinnamon flavor and then smacked you with jalapeno heat.
