This place is delicious!!! Possibly some of the best gelato I've ever had. The staff was so friendly and helpful including being patient with picky kids. There's a parking garage behind it with free parking. There are a ton of flavors including fruity flavors plus they turn your cone into a flower. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it due to how tasty it is.

This was such a worth it moment. The staff are nice and the gelato was very different from what I have tasted before. The flavors were all amazing! I could definitely taste the ingredients in each one. It was pretty crowded and I went here around night time close to 10pm. If I recall it was on a weekend. The staff who took care of me separated the flavors very skillfully. I was able to get to each gelato flavor easily.

If you craving for good and fancy ice cream post dinner or anytime, this is the spot to try. Cup or flower scooped cone! The ice cream was all quite yummy and need to go back to try more. Up to 3-4 flavs per cone and done quite fast as well, even when there is a line. Smaller shop but good enough for a post dinner walk and ice cream ! Enjoy

The ambience was great. Everything was affordable. The ice cream was delicious and they make cute roses out of ice cream which was kinda cool and amazing. The milkshake was okayish (maybe i should have chose different flavors it wasn’t sweet enough for me). Had a great time here. Best place to go on a cute little ice cream date.

The aesthetics of this place is amazing! It wasn't too crowded when my friends and I entered here. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming to my group. They have a ton of flavors to choose from and apparently it's recommended to have 3 scoops for the sharable cup but I got 4 scoops (for myself). Each scoop I can definitely taste the smooth texture and rich natural flavor! I can't recall the last time I had gelato but this experience makes me want to come back for seconds! They also have macarons and other desserts which looks so good but I don't want to spend too much in one go. Would I come back with my friends or family to try this place out? Definite yes! 5/5

This place was amazing, they had those cute little cookies, I think they were called macaroons. They let you taste the flavors before you get your ice cream to make sure you like it. I got a mandarin cherry flavor and chocolate sorbet. I decided to get a cone with topped dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts but they have cups too. They made my cone into a cute little rose, it was so adorable 🥰. The coconut and lemon were also really good but I just sampled them. It was a little pricey, around $10.00/person. But so very delicious 🤤.

Cozy gelato place in river oaks district. There was a pretty long line to get in but the gelato was worth the wait. Lots of flavors to choose from. Their coffee, dark chocolate and dulce de leches combination 'the signature' is really good. Definitely recommend.

Rose-shaped gelato? Count me in~ this is a foodies IG/TikTok worthy place to showcase just how pretty these desserts are! Amorino is located in the River Oaks district and it’s always a perfect time for gelato for any occasion~ it is a small gelato shop, but there’s outdoor seatings for you to enjoy as well! Make sure you absorb their menu as they have an abundance of flavors (also an assortment of other desserts and coffees too). It can get a bit hectic during the weekends, so be patient as the employees try to accommodate you as much as possible!

This is probably the smoothest gelato I’ve ever had. When I say this ice cream was moist, I mean it. Highly recommend to anyone with an appreciation for the finer things in life. Great location and great staff!

this is a beautiful little spot to come with family and friends and have a cold treat on a hot day. They serve not just gelato, but sorbet and a few pastries like: fresh made waffles, single serving cheesecakes, and macarons. They have plenty of different and imaginative flavors, but all of them made from natural ingredients. You can tell that the gelato flavors are made from quality ingredients. Sometimes the line is a bit long, but it's worth it!

I came here for macarons and they were super good!! The texture was amazing!! I also tried the sorbet shake and it was less sweet but still yummy. A bit difficult to park, but worth it if you have time.

The flavors in Amorino are so amazing and fresh! I always tend to order the same because I don't like them anywhere else. You must try the passion fruit flavor! The staff is super nice and patient. The good thing is that you can try different gelatos before you commit to your flavors. That is how I found the coconut flour and the blueberry one, which aren't my to-go flavors, but they are now. Don't forget about their coffees, which are so delicious. The cappuccino is always on point. The lattes are also good. The affogato is also good. Parking can be a hassle in that area in general, but so worth it! It's always good to get a gelato and walk on a good weather day.

I absolutely love this place! Amorino has so many delicious flavors to choose from! Every cone is made with care and into a beautiful flower topped with a macaron! We got a pistachio + dark chocolate ice cream and chocolate macaron from here. Both of the ice cream flavors were good. Pistachio had delicious smoky flavor. Dark chocolate was on a little sweeter side to my liking. Macaron was delicious and flavour was well balanced. Be prepared for long queues during summer days. This place is small so you might experience some crowding inside.

I usually write more for a review, but literally all I can say about this place is that I love their coffee. I love their shakes. I love their macaroons. I love just about everything that I have tried from here. I have nothing bad to say at all. I mean it's always busy but who can complain about that when the service is so great and the food is immaculate?

Amazing Icecream! The place was crowded like pre-pandemic era! We ordered pistachio and dark chocolate. There were 4 servers preparing order at a time still there was a line backed up till the next store. I saw them preparing a gelato flower was so pretty. I would visit again for the delish icecream. There was a fly on the brownie kept in the dessert section. The server threw the piece out immediately after I mentioned it. I appreciate the quick action.

Do you love ice cream? Do you like macarons? If you answered yes to any of the above then you'll love this place. Their ice cream on the cone is flower shaped topped with a macaron. The ice cream is soooo so goood, not too sweet. The place has a comfy casual setting. Great place to cool off or get some sweets after a meal.

It was my first time going there last night. The cashier was very nice. She told me that I can order as many flavors as I want. I was too Shy to order too many. Lol now I feel I should’ve ordered more so that I can take advantage of the various varieties. I was shocked how good the macaron was. The texture tasted as soft as so many people’s description, girls' breasts (not that I purposely touched anyone’s). I also somehow felt “coquettish” can be the word describing it. It’s so pretty and flirtatious waving at me constantly after the first bite. The gelato was chocolate, vanilla, yogurt and pistachio. Total of four flavors included two basic and two kinda special so that the level can be tested yet hopefully they didn’t feel I was a horrible customer that requested too much. The chocolate IS my FAVORITE! It’s one of THE best chocolate flavor I’ve ever had. It had strong chocolatey flavor and stays in for awhile after eating it. The vanilla was alright. It might have been better if I didn’t eat the chocolate first. It got washed away too much. I barely tasted anything although I did love to see the mini vanilla bean dots. My husband loved the yogurt the most. I didn’t ask why. I’m assuming it’s very refreshing. The cone was freshly made. It was crispy and milky. I felt I can eat a dozen of them alone. Overall it’s a bit pricey if you only see the price. However, I felt it’s worth it. To make it a better deal might be ordering the cup rather than cone since it seems to be able to contain more ice cream.

Cutest ice cream spot. The flavor is extraordinary and their art astonishing. They put so much care and effort into creating the perfect gelato cones in flower shapes. Their macaroons are so yummy - my favorite was the pistachio flavor and raspberry. They are located in a beautiful area in Houston, TX - made me think of the Design District in Miami (my town). I will definitely go back to Amorino next time I am in town. Their service is excellent! Prices are a bit on the high-end, but it is definitely worth it.

I had been in many Amorino in USA and Europe, and this one was one of the best. The employees are very friendly. Social distancing is enforced, mask is required, and there is no indoor seating, however, there are benches outdoor which was very convenient for us. I loved the pistachio flavor the most.

I would give this place 5 stars but there was something that kinda threw me off. I love the flower design and the flavors were amazing! The only thing that we didn't like was that you basically have to scarf the ice cream down if you get a cone because it WILL melt onto your hands. The funny thing is that the workers know this and when they handed me the cone they also handed me a good stack of napkins... Now I know why. Next time imma get the cup. It looks really pretty though and very appealing to eat.

The gelato are shaped into flowers, which are so unique and pretty!!! I personally don’t like sweet gelato, but I wished this gelato taste a little sweeter - That would be perfect!! But overall, the taste is pretty nice. You can tell they use fresh ingredients to make their gelato. No artificial flavors. The texture of the gelato is quite soft. 4/5 ⭐️

Don't let a long line on a Saturday night deter you. This little gelato spot is worth the wait! You'll be posting your waffle cone rose of flavors on instagram. They have lots of well-labeled, vegan options if you're lactose intolerant or vegan, including a delicious dairy-free chocolate. The lime and basil was delicious too. It's reasonably priced considering the quality, and family-friendly.

Amorino is located in the beautiful River Oaks district. It is beautiful and has covid safe feature such as social distancing and Pyrex glass between the cashier and you. I love their rose gelato with a macaroon on top. It looks cool and it does taste very good. It doesn’t have my tiramisu flavor though but there is plenty else to choose from. The price is decent. Anyway, I am definitely coming back especially to show off how beautiful river oaks is to a friend or family.

Amorino is the best Authentic Gelato I have consumed in Houston, periodt!! There is no other Gelato I have tasted that compares or even competes with Amorino. They use a minimal amount of ingredients in their gelato with no artificial flavors which makes them stand out. They offer dairy and water based gelato along with Organic, Vegan, and Gluten Free options which are unique. They also offer tasteful pastries! Their gelato is always fresh and they make a beautiful creation of a Rose which is their unique signature! Their staff goes above and beyond in their customer service!! Recommend to anyone!

This is a ice cream shop worth visiting. Not only do they serve the ice cream cones in a flower petals style-shape, the intensity of the ice cream flavors were so good. Service can be a little slow than a typical shop as it took time to build the flower petals. The shop can get crowded at times. Worth a re visit!

Great selection of Gelato. Service was great and they walk you through your order. Big bonus are the samples and you can get multiple flavors at no extra charge. Had the blueberry cheese cake with a coffee macaroon. The macaroon was full of flavor and a pleasant addition to the gelato. The lines started getting long later in the night. Highly recommended.

Delicious Italian ice cream, even though fun fact first Amorino comes from Orly a city near Paris, France. The ice creams and sorbets are delicious, very very flavory and creamy, my fav is to turn the amorino chocolate into a milkshake! Also many pastries and little toffes We went around 9.30 pm on Saturday and the place was completely full, we had to wait in line for a while but it goes quite fast. Also toilets are quite clean, is funny because they have a speaker inside the toilet, I guess to keep your privacy.

First time here. Staffers were welcoming and explained the offerings and how to order. We got two small gelato cones: one with yuzu pineapple and coconut and one with blueberry cheesecake and hazelnut. Gelato was pretty good and the way they serve gelato on cones is pretty, too. Besides gelato, they also had pastries like cheesecakes. Parked at the nearby River Oaks District Parking Garage, which was free (there was limited parking in front of the businesses here too).

Good lord, it was delicious! I tried a few flavors including organic chocolate, coffee, chocolate hazelnut, pistachio, and coconut. Every single flavor was just amazing! My favorite was the chocolate hazelnut. The cone was fresh and crunchy. Staff was very friendly. Yes, it is a bit expensive but it's totally worth it! Will definitely be back here! Highly recommended!

Love the flavors here. But it can get crowded. The line isn't always organized. It's a bit small inside. The way certain workers make the ice cream isn't consistent. I could order a regular size and it would look like a large. Which is fine since I would be getting more for my money. But not fair for the person behind me if they have someone else making their ice cream scoop.

Its a pretty place in a nice neighborhood. Grab a bite from a nearby place then stop by for a delicious treat. They have many options and tasty gelato. My fav is pistachio. Parking needs to be in the cinema’s garage or nearby streets. A few mins walk. It usually has a long cue so expect a 30 min or more wait just to get into the place (weekend time estimate). Staff is super friendly and welcoming. More indoor/outdoor seating would definitely be a plus.

The Gelato is very good but honestly the best part of our visit was the guy behind the counter. Trying hard to remember his name but can't. He was surely the best service type person to help us on our visit to Houston so far. The shop is nicely decorated and their coffee was good as well.

There's an unnecessary line because of the Gelato flower. Ask customers if they actually want a flower or not. Service was mediocre at best. I got a Gelato milkshake and a kid's cup. The milkshake was liquid so I had it remade. I wasn't blown away by the soap taste of anything.

Great place for ice cream, great flavours and an amazing way with the cones. The more scoops you have the more flower petals are built up by the server - I couldn't guess at the limit but it's stunning to watch. If you have lots of scoops best to stay inside where the air conditioning will delay the inevitable melt. Very very tasty. Friendly people. Well done!

Line can be out the door sometimes but I think it's well worth it. Best tasting gelato & is worth the drive for us. Don't underestimate the sizes of their cones. Almost couldn't finish the rose size. Definitely add the macaron to your order!!

Neat experience and the gelato was incredibly smooth and full of taste! The ginger blood orange was amazing! Long line but they move it through quickly. Most beautiful creations ever! Tasted amazing as well. The Tiramisu is my absolute favorite! But it can be very messy so make sure to get a few napkins. Definitely will recommend to a lot of people and will definitely come back for many more times. I got the Tiramisu with Coffee in the picture with a coffee macaron.

The gelato here is excellent. The texture is smooth and it isn't overly sweet. They have stracciatella which is my favourite flavor! I also highly recommend the limoncello and the Hazel nut gelato. For those who want a fancy picture they can make a ice cream flower on a cone (each petal is a flavor) and for a few extra dollar they can add a macaroons (I saw several girls with gelato flowers they looked pretty Insta-awesome)

Fantastic place to get a variety of desserts, from baked goods, small chocolates, coffee drinks, sorbet drinks, and delicious waffle cones with tulip chaped sorbet, you can't go wrong. The best most amazing hot chocolate I've ever had before. It is thick and if you're a dark chocolate fan, you'll be in heaven! Don't get it with the whipped cream though. The place has the best gelato in Houston and Austin. On top of their Hot chocolates are amazing especially the one with Hazelnut. Do try their pistachio chocolates, I tried one of every chocolate they made in house and they all tasted great. But my favorite was Pistachio. The gourmet cups are splendid as well . If you are in a mood for a milkshake . Amorino got you covered there as well. You can pick two of the gelatos as your milkshake options and they taste AMAZING!! Amorino is my go to chill place.

This is the best gelato ever!! The flavors are absolutely delicious and the beautiful way they put the cones together is amazing. It is worth noting that this is the only place around that has stracciatella available, so you know it's good. There are also dairy free options available - the strawberry and the lime bergamot flavors are my favorites. I also really appreciate that you have the option to select multiple flavors instead of having to choose just one. If you're feeling fancy, you can also add a macaron on top! Every bite is flavorful and I always leave with a smile on my face. I highly recommend a visit!

My only complaint would be the last time I went my ice cream presentation wasn’t the beautiful flower as usual. I don’t really mind since I am going to eat it. rt or ice cream? I thoroughly enjoyed Amorino Gelato. The whole thing was an experience. The line was out the door, and Houston weather doesn't play around. Still, the line moved relatively fast. There were SO many flavors to choose from, I almost had to say never mind. This place was not made for indecisive people. Luckily, someone else chose for me! The server crafted our gelato into perfection. Each few petals had a different flavor and all were delicious. Raspberry (or was it blueberry?) was definitely one of the highlights. The texture of the gelato was creamy and the portion size was good for two people. It started melting as soon as we left the building so we only got to snap a few pictures, and then it was a race against time. I probably wouldn't go to this place by myself. Unless if it were Single Awareness Day. But definitely a cute date spot! These might even be better than flowers.

Some of the best gelato in Houston and great ambience. Usually somewhat of a line formed outside but it doesn't take more than 10 to 15 minutes to get the gelato. It's definitely worth the wait though no matter what. Some of the really popular flavors include chocolate hazelnut, blueberry cheesecake, pistachio and a lot more. You can also get macarons on your cone as well. They have a good selection of dairy-free options as well. Highly recommend!

The flower cone is very cool. The flower is actually ice cream tho, not part of the cone...this means it melts super fast! They need to have the little paper drip trays on these cuz it’s super messy and no way you can eat it before flower is melting. I like the different variety in unique flavors as well, just beware even traditional vanilla and chocolate have a very different taste.

We went on a Saturday night around 9 PM and the line was out of the door with about 30 people ahead of us. It was very worth the wait, which didn't take long by the way. I had the mint and chip with tiramisu and another gelato that I can't remember on top of a dipped cone topped with whipped cream and a vanilla macaron made with Madagascar bourbon. It was a not only a work of art, but it was a tasty as it was beautifully crafted. It was hard for me to choose which flavors to try and which deserts to sample. I'll be back to try the espresso and waffle specialty menu items.

The flavor is great but yesterday I had a weird experience. While the lady was scooping for me, the gelato kept falling out and touching the side(the metal side, where they open the window to get into the gelato). I politely and simply asked if she can not give me that piece, I can't believe she brushed it off and refused, still ended up giving that piece to me. I was in shock and still took it but I should've insisted and said something to the manager. Hello owner, thank you for your reply. It was at your location, River Oaks district. The "window slide" your employees open to get the gelato, and when they scoop to shape into a flower petal. That's when she kept missing it and it kept coming out to touch the side. It's not ok because it's disgusting.

I love this place. The Gelato is delicious. They have seriously long lines. We came on a weekend evening and could barely move. Just insane. I had ordered a coffee with cream and they forgot to add the cream. It and was such a hassle to get the attention of the employee because there was so much going on and I finally got her attention and she seemed annoyed. Not my fault it's super busy and plus my order was not complete. The product is great but the customer service should be at 100% here.

We go here pretty often, but we likely won’t be returning if they don’t take the safety of their customers into account. Six feet social distancing is NOT BEING ENFORCED AT ALL!! They have social distancing stickers on the floor but workers are not making customers wait at the markers. And I spoke to management about it, and they said “we’re doing the best we can” (shrugging shoulders), yet are calling customers from behind to cross over waiting customers in front of them. We like the ice cream but can easily get this from another gelato shop. Please for safety of your customers and employees, you should follow safety guidelines.

Came in as a group of 4 on a Saturday night. The place is small, but the staff are friendly and all the flavors we tried were delicious. I personally tried the Ecuadorian chocolate, coconut, walnuts and figs, and the custard with cherries in syrup. They were all DELICIOUS. I especially loved the walnuts and figs combination, never thought of that as a gelato flavor before. I also tried a chocolate macaron. It's very small and for $2.50, I'd skip it. The gelato is also a little pricey. A small cone (and they do really mean small) is $5.50. You can only get the rose shape on a cone so if you want to get a picture get the cone and then ask for a cup to move your gelato into. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is due to the way they take their orders. I feel that it's very ineffecient and not the smartest way for a place that's so tiny. When you walk through the door, there are tables immediately to your right and people are standing in line to your left. Once you get your turn, you choose a cone/cup size and anything else you want and you pay. You move along the line to choose your flavors and that's where there's chaos. Because you pay before you get your cone, they allow you to try as many flavors as you'd like. I think you can start to see why this is a problem. People that came in before you will come up to your spot to try a flavor that's in front of you. There's a little pushing and shoving while people move around the line to get to the flavors they want to try. I feel like it would be better if they had a system similar to Starbucks where they take 1-2 customers, have them try out and choose the flavors they want, and then serve the next customers. I would love to come back, I just hope they implement a new way of taking orders.

So I feel a bit silly recommending a gelato place as it feels cliche and something a younger kid or preteen would do. However, this place is so crazy delicious I feel compelled. I don't even really like gelato (I've tried it on 4 continents and probably half a dozen countries without much fanfare), but I find myself going back to this place over and over for what is the most light and tasty flavors I've ever had. Great for a date, if a friend is in town or just to treat yourself if you want a little something. The lines can be long on the weekend and especially evenings post dinner time, but move fairly quickly. Try going during the week mid day and be sure to try the classics and the salted caramel or dolche de leche.

I have been to a few gelato places in Houston, but this one is my favorite so far - beautiful presentation (if you get a cone they mold the gelato to look like a flower) and delicious flavors. I got the Classic size and picked 3 flavors - chocolate sorbet, stracciatella, and biscotti. The chocolate sorbet has a bit more of a bitter flavor and is not as sweet and creamy as the regular chocolate gelato, but I preferred this chocolate sorbet because it wasn't too sweet or too chocolatey. It was the perfect balance. All 3 flavors when eaten together was almost like an ice cream cinnabon....AWESOMELY DELICIOUS!! I HIGHLY recommend this flavor profile if you enjoy chocolate, cinnamon, or love cinnabon. I'll definitely be back here again!

We discovered Amorino in Boston and finally we have Houston location. European stile icecream & sherbet, beautifully presented. One can choose up to 3 flavors and top it with delicious macaron. Not cheap, one serving may run up to $10. But so worth it. Where else in Houston you can find blackcurrant sherbet?

You know a place is popular when it's 40 degrees outside and people are lining up to get gelato! This place popped up on my radar recently when someone posted a picture of the flower gelato. I though whoa that looks cool. It is the trendy dessert spot that just popped up in the River Oaks District. This area really needed a dessert spot and I feel this filled that void. When you enter, you have to pay and pick a size of cone or cup. From there you go down the line and pick your flavors. We opted for a classic size (large). We got 3 flavors and 1 macaron. Pistachio was in the middle, and salted caramel, and milk was the pedals and they placed the macaron right in the middle. The dessert is a piece of art, but even more so it tasted delicious. The milk was the best flavor.
