Went with a simple Mexican chocolate and Marshmallow, delicious! The service was GREAT! The staff seems to be very conscious of staying busy and not looking bored, even when there wasn't a line. I would LOVE to visit again and try the other flavors. Also appreciated the COOL atmosphere on a hot Denver day. Enjoyed the retro decor and vibe. A true gem!

Have gotten ice cream here 1,000,000 times and will come back 1,000,000 more. SUCH good ice cream, great non dairy vegan options for my new diet, and the atmosphere is to dieeeeeeeee for. The CUTEST. My kiddo loves it here, and loves getting some extra to go treats for the road. The staff is always super patient with my son and his questions and topping additions. Treat yourself and stop in here. You’ll be transported back in time for a super memorable treat.

Vegan Chocolate Salted Oreo is my all-time favorite ice cream (vegan or not). I love to get it in a waffle cone with extra Oreos on top and walk around Congress Park or sit on one of the benches nearby. I take all my visitors here!

Very good ice cream!! Loved the salted Carmel with peanut butter. Rude, strange and dismissive employees. I’ve been there twice, solo and and with friends and we all left feeling weird. A bummer, I go here less often as it’s always awkward.

Fun, new place to go for ice cream. Not great parking, had to go into a residential area to park and walk there. Still not bad. Really cute interior. Feel bad for the employees that they have to wear ridiculous outfits, but it flows with the look of the store (I guess). Only thing was their counter is huge and there is not much room to move around for guests when in line. Also, not much seating. Looked like there is more outside but better for the summer. They had good flavors of ice cream, but not too much to chose from. Also sell chocolate truffles and candies.

First time here, enjoyed rich, savory vegan ice cream. There were five flavors for vegan, and more for regular. The place is also stocked with chocolate treats and candy. They also have sorbet and sweet dipped waffle cones. Parking is along the busy street neighborhood. Will return!

So much fun and their ice cream sandwiches (gooey cooie's) are rated #7 nationally. We stopped by here with kids and grandparents after visiting the Denver museum of history and science. It was so cute inside and it was a perfect way to end the afternoon. I posted photos and now all of our family members want to try it! Flavors can be odd, so definitely ask for samples. I ended up with a vegan horchata ice cream because it was the best tasting! My dad had salted oreo and we all agreed we wouldn't do that flavor again. My husband had both lemon lavender poppy and blackberry pineapple sorbet. They also have standard chocolate and vanilla flavors for the kids. An assortment of standard, sugar and waffle cones are available. It was a home run for both the foodies and the kiddos. Free small cookies and lemon water. Fantastic place!

Great new ice cream shop. 10 classic flavors. Sorbet and vegan options. Also serves taffy and cute chocolates. It’s a nice place for families or a date. Plenty of seating inside on cute turquoise booths and outdoor patio chairs with umbrellas and sparkly lights. Easy parking. More upscale than Bonnie Brae’s and on a quieter street. And just better than Nuggs...sorry Nuggs.

Sweet Cooie's is a great little neighborhood ice cream parlor. This is a great place if you have a sweet tooth, and or, want to take someone who has one. They offer around 10 regular dary options, 3 sorbets and, my favorite, 3 vegan options. They make their waffle cones in house and they are delicious. They also have donuts that you can put ice cream in, take a moment to understand how great that is. The shop interior decoration is that of an old school ice cream parlor. The employees are nice and all of them sport a bowtie and a hat which "ties" the whole look of the place together. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I'm not sure If I missed anything, but you should check for me, I don't think you will regret it. Enjoy. The same owners as little man in the highlands.

This place was quaint and a throwback to ice cream parlors of yesteryear. The ice cream was served by friendly young teens with attention to detail. The ice cream is absolutely delicious! The line was long, but we were waited on within 40 minutes. A must if in the area on a hot summer night!

Everything about our experience was excellent! The ice cream was delicious! I had the salted Oreo and my niece had a brownie sundae with butterscotch ice cream. The service was great. The employee was very friendly, patient and helpful when we were trying to decide what to order. I have already recommended them to friends and will definitely be back. It's a good thing I live across town or I might have become a regular 😂

What a FANTASTIC ice cream parlor! My friend and I came here the other night and this place is truly fantastic! I had a sundae that was made from Purple Cow ice cream, had some marshmallow creme, and some whipped cream! The ice cream was so good that my taste buds were singing, however, that wasn't the best part... The staff at this location goes above and beyond your expectations. Our ice cream chef, Ann Charlotte did a wonderful job, and she made the experience delightful. The staff at this shop truly loves their jobs, and they make people happy. If you are visiting Denver, or a tourist, this shop is a must see! Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

Heard this was the spot to go for great ice cream. While they do have good ice cream it’s a little on the bland side compared to other shops close-by. I will say that this shop is quite adorable and the staff is equally sweet though. The decor is beautiful and it’s fun to just soak in the atmosphere here. They also sell Tony’s chocolate, which is my favorite, so that was a pleasant surprise. Not bad at all, just not the best in the area.

Very charming ice cream shop! It is styled like an old-time soda fountain, which is very fun. The ice cream is very yummy and they always have a great mix of flavors, along with usually at least four vegan flavors. I would recommend the salted oreoit is one of the most delicious ice creams in Denver! The ice cream is Little Man's, so I think this is a nice place to come if you don't want to wait in line at Little Man's for 9 hours. There isn't a ton of seating inside, but plenty of benches and tables outside during warmer months. Would recommend!

We biked past this place around 9:30 pm on a Friday night and made an immediate u turn based on the smell. YOU KNOW THE SMELL: freshly made waffle cones, wafting out the front door. The ambiance and the color (and the fact that it was the only open storefront on that side of the street at 9:30 pm at night) also caught our attention. This shop is about a year old (I think?) and bound for success. The decor inside and out is great-- clean, great colors, and lots of small details that make it on point for an ice cream parlor. I got bananas foster and my guy got strawberry. DIVINE. RICH. INDULGENT. We met an 8 yr old kid who arrived for late night ice cream in his bathrobe. And a couple that gave us some tips on other places to eat in the area. The lady that scooped our ice cream was awesome, and apparently sings Disney songs through some shifts. We had lots of fun here, and we could tell that it is a local favorite spot.

I love the look and feel of this ice cream shop. So retro, yet so modern. The wait for the ice cream was out the door, but it was so worth it! I got the purple cow flavor. It’s a blackberry flavored ice cream with white and dark chocolate chips. The price of the ice cream is definitely cheaper than most places. I will definitely be coming back here!

The shop has great character, free samples, great flavors and friendly staff. Get the gooey cooie you won't be disappointed. They had a great ice cream selection. Scoops of ice cream we're larger than expected and definitely worth waiting in line! We will definitely be back! I've been vegan for a few months now and I'm still trying to prioritize my LOVE for ice cream, and Sweet Cooie's has some of THE BEST vegan ice cream I've ever had. The Rocky Road was phenomenal and so creamy. Highly recommend!

What a pleasant surprise to have found this place. We had just finished looking at a rental home for our son and they suggested we enjoy the moment with some ice cream. So, based on their recommendation...we went to Sweet Cooie's. It was busy and the staff had the crowd totally under control. They offered a sample, based on my wife's flavor inquiry. Everyone was incredibly helpful and our order was made promptly. The portions and flavor quality were way above our expectations. We sat curbside and absolutely enjoyed the cold treat and the perfect evening. You've earned our business and the next time we are anywhere close to this shop, we will be stopping in for dessert.

Great neighborhood ice cream shop!! We occasionally visit here on summer evening walks with our dog. They have a great selection of changing ice cream flavors (from Little Man, they are owned by the same guy), great waffle cones and bowls, and though we haven't tried them they also have decadent looking chocolate truffles. There's almost always a line, but it's worth the wait!

My favorite place in Denver for ice cream. They have a short list of ice cream flavors which give you the right amount of choices. At the end who cares for tones of ice cream flavors. Ice cream always brings joy and makes our inner child very happy. Aditionally, I love the decoration of this place, it looks like a 1920's ice cream parlor. Take a look at the lamps. They are amazing.

Everything is decorated in old 50's style, the ice cream flavors are original and delicious but then most of all the attendant is amazing. Now, their vegan menu isn't extensive but it is GOOD! I tried their salted chocolate oreo ice cream which was amazing! I make homemade dairy free ice cream, Niquely-Made Creations, so it's always great to find places that incorporate that into their menus and it tastes just like the original flavors! Parking isn't ideal but their location is the cuuuutest little set up!

Sweet Cooies is the bomb. This traditional ice cream shop sells one thing, joy. The vegan selection allows pretty much any one enjoy the finer things in life. Thanks staff goes out of their way to make ever customer feel heard no matter the line. The decor is retro but in the best possible way. I love the homage to the owners mother and could spend every day there. They are a little expensive but the trade off is worth it. It makes the neighborhood a little more lively and enjoyable.

Very popular ice cream shop for good reason. The decor is set up to look similar to a much older ice cream shop or drugstore. The number of flavors are limited and change often, but they're better than most ice cream shops. It can get busy on summer weekends and even some winter weekends. The seating is limited, so plan on waiting in line for a bit, then standing with your cone(s) if you're going during a busy time.

This is by far the best ice cream in Denver, and the fact that it’s vegan is mind blowing and so amazing for us. They only offer a couple of vegan flavors at any one time, but if you’re lucky enough to be there when chocolate salted Oreo is on the menu, your life is going to change. I can’t accurately describe how incredible this ice cream is - it’s an experience. And the single scoop is easily big enough for two adults to share. Less than $5 for a giant scoop of the most incredible vegan ice cream in a waffle cone (ask for the un-dipped pre-made cones) is one of the best deals in Denver. Not to mention the atmosphere of this place is always so amazing. We love Sweet Cooie’s!

Fantastic upgrade!!! We didn't know it changed owners and we're prepared for the same grumpy service as last year( or was it the year before that?) What a happy surprise to see the whole place has gotten a very esthetic and stylish face lift. Which didn't just include the interior but also the staffs' attitude. Absolutely love this place..... But, when I went the other day with my son to grab 6 shakes, my son slipped on the ice on the way back to the car and his shake busted and he slammed his head..,... I went in to ask for another one, explaining what had happened and they totally charged me full price! Which, I do understand to an extent..... Yet in the other hand, I just spent close to $50 on shakes and it would have been nice that they, at least, offered to make him another one. Maybe even half price.... And maybe make triple sure they over do it on the ice melt...... That sucked. Luckily my son was ok.

A long wait for pretty standard ice cream. Creative flavors, but nothing crazy or special about the quality. In my opinion, it is comparable to Liks and not as good as Nuggs. It is a cute store/location if you are in it for the atmosphere.

Almost gave 4 stars, but the ice cream is great! Very cutesy & trendy for Denver. The reason I hesitated 4 or 5 stars. Asking customers to tip is uncouth one. Two, you're serving me for 1 minute! The employer should pay a Liveable Wage Period. Not have employees Begging for tips. Bad taste. I'm all for gratuity to ppl in service. Who spend time with customers, but a 2 minute transaction? No. Just NO.

It's pretty darn good. Too good if you ask me. The clothing store is happy though because I've had to buy a new belt. I think the owner has stock in belts. Or clothing stores. They have cool swag too. Their coffee cups are great souvenirs.

This place is what you might imagine a "classic ice creamery" to be. For example their sample spoons are actual tony silver spooons. They have thought of everything to give you an authentic and romanticized ice cream experience! Great area to grab a cone and take a stroll through the neighborhood.

They haven't great tasting homemade ice cream here. The only downside is that they give out paper straws with the shakes and you have to pay $0.50 for metal straw.

It's like the manifestation the Little Man can's dream of making it in Hollywood... Or a delicious homage to an obviously remarkable and stunning mom (aka Sweet Cooie). Gluten free waffle cones, if only too large, are worth the splurge. The vegan salted chocolate will crush even the fiercest carnivores... If you're not a runner or possess the metabolism of a hummingbird, consider lacing up for your visit - something resembling a creamy sexy donut is also a specialty and I don't think your fat jeans will forgive you after more than one. However you opt to get there, get there. It's fabulous.

Great place with classic ice cream flavors like bananas foster. In case you're wondering what a "Gooey Cooie" is, it's an ice cream sandwich between two halves of an old fashioned doughnut, heated on a panini press covered in glace! It's warm and toasty on the outside, cold and sweet on the inside and oh so Gooey in between.
