Reviews of Little Man Ice Cream
Marlene Pierce
Friendly staff and great ice cream. They have multiple non dairy options. Despite a long line, it was a short wait.
They can be a bit pricey, but a sundae comes with unlimited toppings, which is nice. I appreciate that the higher price comes from the company giving back to charity with a rice donation.
A classic Denver stop!
Jim Maastricht
A don't miss in Denver. Wonderful ice cream. Parking is challenging on the street. You may have to pay to park, but it's worth it. There are several people serving ice cream within a giant milk can. They move quickly so don't let a line stop you. They were set up for Halloween when we stopped. Nicely decorated. Outdoor only seating so dress appropriately

This is a fantastic ice cream place with a friendly vibe to it. It is crowded almost always, and you wouldn’t wonder why if you ever get to taste a scoop. They are pretty generous about the portions. I didn’t like the Mexican Chocolate flavor as it has a strong cinnamon taste to it. However, Chocolate salted Oreo, German cake, Passion fruit, Chocolate Whopper and apple pie flavors are amazing.
It’s a bit hard to find parking there, even on a weekday evening. So, you might want to roam around a little bit.
On a side note, Little Man ice cream has committed, through its Scoop for Scoop program, to donate one 3-ounce scoop of rice/beans to developing countries worldwide for every scoop of ice cream sold. 100% of all proceeds go directly to food purchases.
They have donated 2 MiLLION+ scoops So far!

Went to this little landmark ice cream shop that is shaped like a giant silver milk can, after a dinner nearby on a breezy Saturday evening. There was a bit of a queue, but we got to the counter after a wait of about 15-20 minutes. There are a dozen or so flavors of ice cream, and prices between $2.50 for a "little dip" to $6.50 for a double scoop. $7.50 for a pint, if you are going to share. $1.50 for a waffle cone. The ice cream is good (16th Street Chocolate is a good one), there are a fair number of tables and chairs, and parking is only on the street or in a paid lot nearby. Great place for family and kids.

Arguably the best Ice cream in denver! My mom found a review that said “you know it’s good ice cream if there’s a line around the corner in the winter”. They always have 2 vegan flavors and 2 sorbets, along with ice cream sandwiches. I always wanna try the ice cream sandwiches, but I can never pass up a homemade waffle cone. I always get one scoop, split into two and love the funky flavors. Most recently I got a Mexican chocolate and a salted butter pecan. They have a salted Oreo, which is a fan favorite, but one of my favorites is a space junkie - black raspberry with brownie and marshmallow swirl. The line moves pretty quick, so don’t fuss…. Just know you’ll wait. Very worth it!!

Little Man Ice cream is located in a chic neighborhood in Denver. The line is often long but it totally worths it! Service is actually very fast and the staff is so friendly and productive! The salted Oreo and salted Caramel peanut butter flavors are incredible. I will definitely come back again.
Tyler J
The line only looks long. We got there and it was about halfway up the street, but only took about 15 min to the ordering window. I got the earl grey tea and it was nearly perfect. Just a subtle tea flavor mixed with small biscuit pieces. I wish there was more texture from the biscuits but those suck up so much moisture and the flavor was amazing, so I was happy. *tip* you can order 2 flavors in a small so get both!
Ling
It’s a really cute place with plenty of space to hang out with friends to enjoy your ice cream. Line can get really, really long but it moves quite quickly. Customer service excellent. You get to try as many samples as you like. And you can stack however many flavors of ice cream you want in your cup. I had the banana pudding (my favorite), mint chip (yum), salted Oreo (was okay, a bit too salty for my liking).
Josh Steichen
Arguably the best ice cream spot in Denver! This place is always worth the wait in line. The atmosphere is fun so it keeps you entertained during your wait. Must try if you're ever in the neighborhood or have the opportunity. I'm still waiting for the to make the Lavender Lemon Poppyseed flavor again. This is by far the best flavor of ice cream I've had.
Stephanie Mike
Taste-like-homemade ice cream which was perfect to eat after enjoying one of the several great restaurants that are near by. They offer an Express line with 8 flavors so you don’t have wait in the regular long line. Trust that the ‘salted’ flavors are salty (I noticed A lot of people giving them one star reviews because the ice cream was too salty but they offer you free tasting of any ice cream, so there is no excuse to order a flavor and then complain.) We had the 16th street chocolate, it had chunks of brownie, fudge and it didn’t have that sickly sweet taste.
Pranjali Sharma
Finally got here and wow, this place is super cute and crowded!! I tasted their purple cow, mint chocolate chip and the goat cheese ice cream which were all amazing!! But since I would never be able to have the blackberry honey goat cheese combo anywhere else, I got that and yum!! Very tasty and very good! Their portions are huge so even though we got the lil dip, we got a whole scoop which was a lot. The sitting area is fun but you can also walk around as the whole place is super cute.
Berrien Zhang
This is a wonderful place to explore different flavors of ice cream. The salted Oreo is said to be the most popular one. Banana pudding is also delicious. Will come back again!
Krysten Trujillo
This place was amazing! Friendly staff, very welcoming and they were awesome about us trying samples before we got what we desired!! I had the espresso fudge with homemade vanilla on a mini waffle cone and it was delicious!! My boyfriend had the banana pudding as highly recommended and it did not disappoint especially with those wafer pieces inside (knock out the park) I definitely would recommend this creamery to a friend!!
Matt Rojas
One of Denver's most highly rated ice cream spots! Go try them to see why!
Little Man is a Denver staple. If you're looking for a must try in the area then this is the spot. They are constantly rotating new flavors, making fresh waffle cones, and if it's summer, have a line stretching around the block.
I keep going back to Little Man for their Salted Oreo, it's a cookie and cream with just the right pinch of salt to make it salty and savory. They also offer Milkshakes and Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches which are both equally fantastic.
Wait at your own risk if there's a long line, it can take awhile but it's worth it if you've never been! If there's no line then don't pass them up!
Tracy Sung
A staple in Denver! We came around 2:00pm and the line was wrapped around the store. We were able to try a few flavors and I was impressed that their vegan options weren't only limited to sorbet. Lots of interesting flavors to choose from. Word of caution, the portions are absolutely massive. I got a small cone, thinking it would just be a single scoop, it was like 2.5 massive scoops, but it was definitely quite yummy.
Andrew Gulya
Had to come here from all the recommendations for this place, and was not let down at all! This place is worth every bit of hype it gets. The ice cream is sooo creamy and the sorbet is sooo fruity. As many tastes as you want before you pick is amazing! Service here is excellent, especially for how busy and popular this place is. Wish I lived closer to this incredible ice cream!
Samantha Garland
Homemade ice cream! I got the malted chocolate ice cream! So good. It had pieces of whoppers in it. Mom had salted Carmel resses. It was good but a little too salty by the time you had a few bites. They said the salted oreo flavor is the most popular. One thing about this place, you will wait. If you love ice cream, it will be worth it.
Samantha Sanchez
Very quick service with vegan options! Staff is friendly and area is nice. We ordered a couple of vegan ice cream sandwiches and they were delicious. The ice cream wasn’t overly sweet and the cookie was great. I appreciate that the cookies were not soggy. They were thin - but were chewy and a bit crispy. We both liked that the cookies had chocolate chunks versus chips. It tasted better this way and wasn’t overly chocolately either.
Adam Rabe
The line was easily worth the short wait. The ice cream was some of the best I’ve ever had. Many different flavors, wished I loved local so I could keep coming back. I had the salted caramel peanut butter cup and my wife had the salted Carmel Oreo.
Luba Kogan
Visiting Denver for the first time, I had many friends recommend this place, and spoiler alert: they were SO RIGHT! We came by on a weekday in the middle of the day, and there was a healthy line. Apparently, it was nothing like it's normally (around the corner/block), but it wasn't short ;) The wait was more than worth it. Handcrafted ice cream? Sign me up. I tried the Salted Peanut Butter Cup paired with Banana Pudding in a waffle cone. The flavors were so incredibly delicious together!! The waffle cone was the star - it was by far the best one i've ever tried anywhere. Essentially, Little Man Ice Cream can do no wrong.
Michael Noerr
Amazing ice cream. Not a large selection of flavors, but you can't beat the portions. We both got singles of banana pudding and Mexican chocolate (yes two flavors in a single). These things were massive. Prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is great. There are also several tables to sit outside and enjoy the weather.
Katie Kelly
Such good ice cream and great prices. I understand why there is a line down the block. But don't let that line fool you--it goes by quick! I had the salted oreo. So delicious! I'll definitely return when I visit Denver in the spring.
Quynh Nguyen
You could really tell how good this place is by its ratings and 4000+ reviews. Nice staff and delicious ice cream. Salted oreo seems to be a fan favorite and I really liked it too! Blueberry shortcake could’ve had more blueberry flavor but overall not too bad at all. Will be back to try the rest of their menu! ❤️🍦 …
Chirelle Pearson
Best ice cream around! Cutest building. Loved the details to everything. Ice cream is probably a little pricier than other places might be. Several unique flavors & unique atmosphere. I tried the honey almond & it was delicious!! Tons of tables to sit at. Definitely make this a stop on your list if you’re traveling through! It won’t disappoint.
Matthew P
I’m from Wisconsin and ice cream is a big deal here.
Little Man does not miss!!
Such creamy and rich ice cream. I don’t know what I can say that hasn’t been said yet.
Get the salted Carmel it’s so tasty here 😛
Richard Nelson
Solid ice cream place. This one had the banana split I was looking forward too and it was probably decent best banana split I had while in Denver. Most people love this places ice cream. It was good but I do think the salty oreo was a tad bit to salty just a tad. But still good.
Aisha Akhter
I’m a big ice cream fan and was looking forward to trying Little Man during my trip to Denver. It was a hot day and there was a line standing in the sun. Luckily, it moved quickly. The lady helping us was super friendly and nice. We were able to sample flavors and she did not rush us at all. We tried the blackberry honey goat cheese, space junkie, espresso fudge, and the 16th street chocolate. We ended up selecting the goat cheese and chocolate. I thought the ice cream was fine - fun flavors and appreciated sampling. I wish there were a dark chocolate not-so-sweet flavor! If the line was longer than 10 min wait (it definitely grew after we left), I would not wait around. Lots of tables and seating. Street parking.
Run-A-Way Bill
Denver, Colorado -
the “Little Man Ice Cream” 28’ tall milk-can is an attraction for the sweet-tooth tourist …
home-made yummy-riffic ice cream treats however you like them …
I selected a one-handed treat - a large strawberry milk shake with fresh whipped cream top with a smile from “Amy” …
“Run-A-Way Bill” was here!

It wouldn’t be Denver without LM. This place has become incredibly popular. In the summer, expect waits of +30min. The line is often times up the block (it moves fast though) !
GAME CHANGER: An “express dip” counter with 6 of their flavors. Able to do cup or cone, no toppings. Highly recommend if they have your flavor you’ve been eyeing.
Jennifer Barish
Woooow. Some of the creamiest ice cream I've ever had! We purchased 2 pints; banana pudding and 16th street chocolate. They are so good. Love the aesthetic of the store front. We will definitely be back to try more flavors.
Geryll Anthony Agno
A not-so-hidden gem of an ice cream spot. We went here went it was freezing and we couldn't believe how their lines just wouldn't go away! Their flavors are all great.
They have a few spots around the mini-building where you can stand around and enjoy your ice cream. If it's freezing outside, like when we went, they also have a few heaters/warmers to help.
Jose Garcia
One of my top places to get ice cream. Will drive or fly from California to this place! I’ve had it so many times. They have a variety of flavors that are all amazing! Expect a long line in the evenings but it’s totally with it!
Maya Lara
I love Little Man Ice cream, people say it’s over rated, but I highly disagree. The workers are always nice, they give generous scoops, always have cool and interesting flavors, great waffle cones, and of course a wonderful ambiance. I’m never disappointed coming here! Overall I spent $18 with tip, I got two scoops and my friend got one.
Alex Fidel
The ice cream is out of this world! We waited 20 min in line, but it was well worth it. Salted Oreo and Toffee Coffee were both delicious flavors.
Cecilia Ramirez
The cutest little ice cream place! We are from Texas and had thought about checking it out and was not disappointed! Definitely worth it! The ice cream was so good and the fall vibes were perfect outside.
Marilyn “Queen” Russell
I was finally able to get my banana pudding ice cream after 3 years! I discovered this gem while stationed here for work in 2019. It's located in very modern cozy area; has great restaurants within walking distance.
DJ 60 Seconds
This place is simply the best! The ice cream every single time I go there, is equally delicious and the staff is always friendly, some of the best ice cream and service in Denver!
Toni King
A must when you visit Denver! Not only is the ice cream DELICIOUS, but Little Man also contributes a scoop of rice/beans to a country in need for every scoop of ice cream they sell! The line may seem too long to wait for an ice cream, but TRUST ME, it is worth the wait! (And the line tends to move pretty quickly, too.) If you have time to hang around, enjoy sitting on the patio as you lick your cone - the ambiance is great! Especially around sunset when you can enjoy the twinkle lights and cool temps.
Josette Saldana
There was a long wait in line prices are a bit more expensive than a regular ice cream shop. the taste amd wait is definitely worth it
Traveling from San Diego California
Eat your ice cream outside the seating area is a vibe at night
shawn m
Went here after having an awesome dinner at Linger. First, be prepared for a line. We walked out of the restaurant at 8:30pm and got in line at Little Man which was about 15 people long and the line was even longer after we got our ice cream...it's a very popular spot because, second, the wait is definitely worth it!
A little pricey but delicious and the serving size is more then ample.
rashmi nimbalkar
One of the best places I have ever visited for Ice Cream. I waited for 1hour in line, but it was worth it. I loved that they have a lot of classics as well as seasonal flavors, and guess what? They have a vegan option too.
The ice creams are creamy and delicious the waffle cones are fresh and crispy. I had a scoop of Dulce de leche and Chocolate in a waffle cone. My husband had pumpkin cheesecake (I forgot to take a picture, It was super yummy)
The staff is super sweet and friendly, and they answer all your questions, give you suggestions, and even if there is a long line, they don't rush you. You can sample the flavors and then decide which one you want.
It's a must-visit place in Denver! Just be prepared to wait in line for 20+ minutes on weekends and holidays. If you want their regular popular flavors, they have an express line that is usually smaller than the other line.
Stephanie Nelson
Delicious treats! We got the German chocolate cake ice cream and a root beer float. The only downside was I wish the ice cream was more frozen as it was already melting by the time I got it at the counter but it was also very hot outside that day. Lots of outdoor seating and shaded tables. Definitely a must try!
Merrell Wood
This place is a local hotspot and a must visit if you’re in the area craving dessert/something sweet. It gets packed around peak times, but it’s a local hidden gem and has an awesome outside patio!
Don Lee
I got the banana pudding and salted Oreo ice cream. Excellent quality and it wasn't overly sweet. Highly recommended.
Jasmine Feng
Great ice cream with huge portions. It seems there's always a long line but it moves quickly. Plenty of seating outdoors to enjoy your ice cream.
John Y.
The ice cream was good. Service was great. Ordered a kids scoop and they gave it to us in a larger cup so that it is easier for little kids to eat with a spoon. Will be asking for larger cups next time! The area is nice, there is a park across the street for kids to play. Lots of room to sit. There is free 2 hour street parking around and a paid parking lot across the street. Lots of restaurants in the area. Roads not too busy.
Sally G
A must-visit if you love ice cream! Still dreaming about their salted Oreo flavor. Soooo yummy. Caramel Samoa was really good too! Super friendly staff and they offer free samples. Portions are very generous and you can ask for more than one flavor in a single scoop :)
Nathan Bantle
Hand made waffle cones are the best! Great selection of ice cream. Loads out outside seating. Great flavor options. Fun swag if you are interested. Great to check out on a hot day!
Amanda Petrie
I was just around the corner from here and I saw the line going up the street. I figured it was worth a try.
They have a decent selection of flavors and many dairy free options. The scoop sizes are pretty large. The ice cream is good. It’s definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.
Michelle Silvia
The building is so cute! The price is very worth it! However, the service may be a bit long. Overall, its great to walk n eat ice cream there :)
Phat Girl Eats World
This is a charming, tiny ice cream shop in Denver. It is very unique looking. The scoops they serve are HUGE! Not a whole lot of seating room, & you will have a little bit of a wait, but it is totally worth it. It brings back the fun of being a kid again & getting excited over giant scoops.
Sarah C.
It’s kind of dangerous that this place is so close to my house! Some of the best ice cream that I’ve had - and yes, I’ve had a lot of ice cream in my day. The fan favorite is definitely Salted Oreo, but I also enjoy some of their other flavors like Salted Maple Pecan (reminds me of my time in Vermont), Cookie Dough and S’mores. My husband enjoys that there is usually a good non-dairy option, but they could offer more variety in this area. Yes, the lines are usually quite long, but it’s a fun “event” and good area for people watching. If you’re not too picky, you can take the Express Lane, which has a more limited selection of their flavors. I also appreciate that they still require employees to wear masks, even though a lot of places don’t seem to be taking Covid precautions any longer.
Abraham Rodriguez
Worth the wait, Max 20-25 minutes.
Ice cream was great and the price was great as well.
Two people $13 plus the seating and music is great.
FYI flavors change on a daily basis.
Lourdes hidalgo-askargeh
My nephew recommended me not to miss little man ice cream when visiting Denver. The customer service was great. The kids who were serving the ice cream to the customers helped me with directions to go to union station. If you are on diet, you can order the souffle cup size. (Awesome). For me the flavour of the ice creams was not unique, but enjoyable for a summer day.
Britney Fuqua
My husband and I came here on a Saturday evening, there was a line but it moved quickly. The staff is so kind and patient and the ice cream is delicious. I got a buttermilk cupcake with sprinkles in a waffle cone and my husband got a BlackBerry pinapple sorbet with oreo crumbles.
Karl Olsen
The ice cream is very good. Kinda pricey, and the line is essentially guaranteed to be long, but it's worth it to try at least once. Sometimes they open up a small shack for ice cream only (no sundaes, shakes, etc) with limited flavor options, so you may be able to get what you want without waiting 20 minutes.
The saltiness in the salted Oreo really stands out, but it still tastes great. I also had some caramel pecan situation that was super good.
Smiley Travel - Rebecca
Coolest little ice cream shop ever! And it was dang good too. I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch!
Mireya Baltazar
The ice cream was great! I got the salted caramel peanut butter cup. It was extremely sweet, so I would get the smaller nice next time I'm there.
Md. Zahidul Islam
Wow! Awesome place for handcrafted ice creams. A wide variety of flavors are available. Must try place for ice cream lovers 😄 …
Tatiana Cortes
Line was long but they had very fast service. The blackberry ice cream was delicious

This place has one of the most delicious ice cream flavors. They have many types of flavors that are all great. This place generally is busy but they open late, so it is worth it to come here if you are craving some sweets at night
Steve “Stevie G.” Gallegos
This is a fun location if you are looking for a different ice cream experience. Tonight they had live jazz/swing music on the patio which makes the 20-30 minute wait in line seem like only minutes. The ice cream itself is good, but not out of this world good. If you want a fun and different experience with your ice cream, add this to your list. But if you are in it for the ice cream, there are probably better options. I would have rated this place 4 stars but there was an awful stench, like backed up sewer water, on the patio and it interfered with our experience. Too bad, cause the music was enjoyable.
Diana DeJesus-Medina
This felt like an outing all it's own, rather than the last activity in a jam-packed day. Fantastic ice-cream (banana pudding and Mexican chocolate are my faves!) is topped off by excellent customer service and just a general fun vibe on the line, talking with locals and visitors alike. It's fairly close to Coors Field. There is seating, punctuated by a gorgeous mural. We had a blast relaxing their with local friends.
Blaine Liming
Little Man Ice Cream is fantastic! They are open late and they offer an express line at specific busy times to make the line move more quickly. I would always recommend bringing friends that come to town here! They know ice cream! They have a 6,000-foot tasting room and kitchen! Support & Enjoy Local!
Jason Haas
Today was my first time at Little Man Ice Cream. There were 3 younger girls there and all of them had the absolute best customer service and smiles the whole time. They treated every customer amazing and they should be recognized! The ice cream was incredible! I will be back with my family
Gabriel Agostini
The line is insanely long in the evening, but it's an event in and of itself and the ice cream is great quality. The chocolate peanut butter flavored ice cream was really good and well-balanced between the two flavors.
lauren HR hr class
After a hard day at the airport- I had to stay the night at a hotel in Denver Colorado. They had the most amazing ice cream I've ever tried!!! Shout out to you guys!!! Thank you for making my night better WITH salted caramel peanut butter cup. 🍦. HAPPY New YEAR!
THANK YOU

Line was pretty long on first visit in early evening. The rest in my group got ice cream, sorbet and an ice cream sandwich that looked awesome!
*We returned during week long visit for blackberry honey goat cheese ice cream which was a favorite. A small waffle cone with a single scoop was huge. I got a little dip of salted maple pecan on a sugar cone. Just a sweet treat without stuffing me.
Lee Moseley
Excellent Ice Cream, Floats & Shakes, amazing variety of flavors. Reasonable prices. BUT what really ROCKS was they stayed open a few extra minutes & waited on everyone in line at/just after closing time! Great job!
Fei Yu
so many flavors to choose from... try a sample or two. I got the split scoop of the local double chocolate and banana pudding. Yum.
P H
It's a nice place to enjoy ice cream in the summer. The flavors are not too fancy and have a good taste, though mine was a hint too sweet. They could also use more sorbet flavors.
Le Va
Hellooo!!! We went there on a week night about 9 pm and there was a one block waiting line. I ordered strawberry and vanilla. Honestly I did not find these flavors amazing but I liked the simple concept of the store.
My girl loved it so we came back next day. No line around 1 pm. I ordered the smallest eatable cone but this time I let the staff chose my flavors. Coconut and coffee or something close to that. Much better. Thanks a lot. See yall soon!!
Logan Houchens
This place is well worth the wait. I got a medium half chocolate salted Oreo and half salted Oreo and it was the best ice cream I’ve ever gotten before. The chocolate salted Oreo had a super silky texture and tasted a lot like brownie batter, I highly recommend it! Also the prices were actually incredibly reasonable compared to other ice cream places.
Sam Szabo
This place is life altering. I saw the matrix when I had their space junkie. Next day had a different flavor and somehow equally as perfect. Seriously the best I've had. I bet Willy Wonka wants their secrets.
And the staff was phenomenal! Would go back to hang out even if the ice cream wasn't as delicious to hangout.
Hannah Bennett
Crazy long line on a Sunday night but fortunately we kept walking and saw their “express” stand that had several flavors of ice cream with no wait. Overall good ice cream - especially the black raspberry brownie flavor - but not so special I’d wait in line 30+ minutes for it.
Melissa Castillo (Mel)
If you want to enjoy the city, you have to taste little man ice cream while you take a walk with your friends!
Nicholas Burke
Good & large scoops... But this place is overrated. Tough parking, long lines & nothing life changing.
Yashraj Ahir
One of the best place I have ever visited for Ice Cream. The history of this place dates back to 1950s. For the first time in the US, I saw a huge line of people waiting for their turn to order ice cream here. We had Salty Oreo ice cream and Peanut butter vegan Ice cream, both single cup size. The total bill generated was about $12 for both of the ice cream combined
Sam Schliesmann
Little Man Ice Cream is the epitome of a neighborhood staple. The milk can is the heart of LoHi. Their flavors are always rotating to try something new but they also keep their tried and true flavors well stocked. Banana Pudding is by far their best flavor!!
Tarasa's World
Also a great time at little man. The rootbeer floats are great. But I've never had a bad ice cream from there. Oatmeal cookie is my all time favorite.
Olivia Kohrs
We had Little Man Ice Cream at our wedding in August 2022 and it was a hit. People are still talking about how delicious the Salted Oreo flavor was. The perfect way to end the evening!
Amber B.
There was a long line which I didn't mind because it moved pretty fast, multiple registers open. I ordered the mint chocolate chip ice cream, it was average. A nice ambience to take your kids, a date, or hang with your friends.
Ashley Barlow
Amazing ice cream, vibe and atmosphere. There is always usually a line here and its worth the wait! One of my favorite ice cream spots in Denver.
Natalie Klima
I went to Little Man Ice Cream while visiting Denver and I loved it!! I ordered Salted Oreo & Banana Pudding flavored ice creams. The staff was incredible, both helpful and engaging. I went towards the end of September and they had everything decorated for fall which made the experience more fun. I’ll be coming back for sure!
Hanna Dotson
Always great! I tend to eat a kids size cause the scoops are so generous! Banana splits are our favorites with the awesome cherries on top
Renee Divine
Last time we were in Denver this place closed before we had a chance to try what looked like an amazing selection. Well we were not disappointed when we finally experienced Little Man! I had to try both of the vegan options and my husband (who got the regular ice cream) agreed that the vegan flavors were just as good as his. I also had to sample his French toast and banana bread which were delicious. A fun atmosphere with super unique flavor options...a must visit while in Denver!
Christian Dahlberg
Super high levels of service at this fun outdoor shop. Great ice cream with lots of options, beware those that try every flavor, lines can get quite long!
Eric Garcia
Amazing ice cream all original flavors.
You must go !!!!!?
Bryce Hwang
Interesting building - generous portions of tasty ice cream. I had the blueberry honey with goat cheese (ok) and vegan chocolate (yummy).
Malise Behne
Delicious flavors. For a long time I've been looking for a certian flavor I got at the store and after years of never finding it, this place had it and it was so much better. Apple pie Ala mode. Yum!
Jason Evans
If your visiting, or have never had the opportunity to try Little Man ice cream, this local business is an absolute MUST try. They also have vegan ice cream available (which does NOT taste any different from traditional dairy ice cream) for those that are lactose intolerant.
Elaine Washam
Cute little joint. The ice cream was good, but don’t miss the hot fudge topping, that is really what made it. Don’t think I’ve had hot fudge that good before.
Victoria Huang
I am here almost every week, it is a real problem for me how good their vegan ice cream is. It’s also a fun spot for random pop up activities! During the summer they have salsa dancing, and last Christmas we bought our tree here. Then got ice cream, of course 😉 …
David Jordan
Are we ice cream aficionados? Probably not. But do we love it as much as any food and drive great distances just to enjoy unusually good varieties of it? Absolutely.
As a result, we were especially pleased with our experience during our first time visit to Little Man last night. Honestly, though- at first we were surprised and disappointed to discover a line of 30+ customers on the sidewalk in front of this small establishment. However, we took it as a good sign that the quality must be worth the wait if that many people wanted it.
They were right. Our patience was rewarded with some of the tastiest ice cream around, served in unusually generous portions. There is not a huge selection of flavors, but everything we sampled was excellent. Even though the line was long, the wait was relatively short since there are three service windows and the staff is friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful.
Eat here soon, you’ll love it.
Zach Amar Stritzinger
Pretty great ice cream, lots of fun flavors. Somewhat busy, but the line moved fast! I got the honey almond, which was really nice and subtle. My kid size was plenty for how much i wanted!
lashona birks
I love their icecream because its fresh. You think that that sizes are small until you start eating and realize its the perfect size to not waste. We had the oreo, cookie dough & sherbert....all was delicious. The location is visually nice. There is a welcoming sitting area.
Amy J
We thoroughly enjoyed every item we tried here. Truly delicious. The staff were super friendly and it was a huge bonus that they had a slide for our kids to play on. Very relaxing.
Brooke Hall
Super fun atmosphere and beautiful setup for sitting and enjoying your ice cream. They have fun flavors and their portions are pretty big. Not the best ice cream I’ve ever had but glad I gave it a try. Their salted Oreo flavor was SO salty that it was not enjoyable and couldn’t finish. Kind of tasted like you were sucking on a stick of salt. The staff wasn’t super friendly to us which was a little disappointing. The line moves fairly quick.
Zhanna Koch
The staff was incredible! I told them it was my first time in the city and to Little Man Ice Cream, and they took their time to tell me what the most popular selections were, what they liked, and asked about my normal preferences. I ended up getting the strawberry ice cream (made with real strawberries) and small tastes of the two most popular flavors, both of which had salt and I was scared about trying. But all were so delicious!
Jordan C.
Overhyped? Nah, just hyped enough. We visit Little Man Ice Cream anytime we are in Denver, but this is the first time our kids came with us. They loved the kids sized picnic bench and the slide- great for passing the time during a long line. By the way, the line was quite long, but moved pretty quickly.
The kiddos got a strawberry shake, root beer float, and red velvet ice cream sandwich. The float and the sandwich were good- the cookie was soft and the cream cheese ice cream was very unique. The strawberry shake didn’t have a strong strawberry flavor- it needed some strawberry purée or something.
I got the banana split, and of the flavors I chose, the Mexican hot chocolate was the best! Strong cinnamon flavor which was super yummy paired with the almond slivers. I will definitely order this flavor again next visit!
I appreciated the covid precautions in place and the hand sanitizer that was readily available at all registers.

angel c
really good, the Mexican chocolate taste like abuleta chocolate bars and the Mexican hot chocolate they had a while back tasted like champurado! it was amazing having those as ice cream, the lines usually pretty long but definitely worth it
Khoa Vu
A wonderful treat! Perfect for a hot day. Perfect for a cold day. I really like the variety of flavors available in the little shop. While I still want to visit to the little man ice cream factory, this little shop satisfied my need for a dessert, especially on a hot day. In the future, I want to go back and try some of the other flavors.
Alyssa Burnett
We came here one afternoon on our trip after it came highly recommended by many people who have visited. We lucked out because it wasn't very busy and they offered our puppy a pup cone. It was perfect size with a little tiny cone for him to munch on after. I ordered the strawberry ice cream which tasted super fresh. It's a cute little place and definitely seems like a Denver staple.
Kaitlyn
A must visit for tasty ice cream. Winter or summer!
Favorite flavor was the salted caramel peanut butter cup.
Hanjong Yoo
Not sure a long wait worths. Yes it was cheap and the atmosphere was great but 30-45 min wait for this ice cream? No thanks. I had a salted oreo and a cookie monster but they weren’t special. Over-hyped. If there is a long line, don’t wait. Not worth it.
Brandon West
Great ice cream. Long lines in weekends and warm evenings. Go off-peak and you won't wait. I like the banana pudding and butterscotch, but the flavors always rotate.
Ken Tucky
You can tell an ice cream place is good if there's a line waiting out in 30° weather for it. The salted oreo was tasty and the waffle cone was really delicious.
A B
Tried butter pecan, banana pudding, almond honey, chocolate and strawberry, all were great. The ice cream is thick and creamy. Service was fast and friendly.
Anisha
Heard about this place and was worried it'd turn out to be just another overhyped place but I was wrong. The ice creams are unique, delicious, and you get what you're paying for. Huge servings. There's long lines but it is definitely worth it.
Sachiko Moore
There was article I read saying this place was the #1 ice cream in America. Well I was in Denver with friends and I said how can I not go here? My husband and I got here around 9 pm on a Thursday and the line was down the street. I've heard this place is always packed so decided to get in line. We stood in line for around 15 minutes which was not bad at all. I got a scoop in a waffle cone (half scoop black and white coffee and half scoop space junkie- this has rasberry and some other berry with brownie bites). It was delicous!! Super creamy and smooth. You can tell these are "homemade" and not processed. I have to agree that it may be the top 2 ice cream I've ever had. Definitely worth the wait. My husband had the vegan chocolate and mint chip. Don't knock down the vegan options. They are actually really delicious!! And my husband is NOT vegan. Great options for those who are dairy free!
Parking is plenty around the neighborhood, just be sure to read the signs. You may have to park a few blocks away, but they are not metered.
Now go get ice cream!
Cindy Pena
Crowded local place with amazing ice cream and great customer service! The line to order was about 10 minutes, but very much worth it! They also have an "Express line" for certain popular flavours, which is helpful if you're looking to avoid the longer wait. I always come here for the strawberry and southern butter pecan icecream. There are plenty of fun and different flavours though. There is also plenty of tables to sit and eat your ice cream, and even a slide for the kids (or if you're like me, a fun adult who enjoys slides!) Highly recommend this place
Mounica B
Best ice cream spot in Denver!
You’ll definitely love the relaxing atmosphere.
Worth the wait and price is very reasonable.
All of their flavors are damn good and my personal favorites are purple cow/space junkie/salted Oreo/almond coconut/butterscotch/cookie dough/strawberry cheesecake/vanilla/strawberry/bar snacks and pistachio.
I totally loved their ice cream cake and you all must check it out. It’s little pricey though - 40 bucks for 6 inch.
Rashid Alyousif
✅ Amazing place and one of the best ice cream 🍦
👤 Employees are wonderful and nice
🪑 Seating area is perfect if the weather is nice
💲 expensive
🚗 Hard to find parking
Emma Choi
I loved their atmosphere! Lots of chairs and tables lying around for customers and great music. I had purple cow, salted oreo on double cone. This Ice cream is huge!! Double can easily be shared with 2-3 people. I wish Salted oreo had more sweetness than saltiness.
Scott Rogers
Epic as always!
Love this place, the best ice cream.
Super friendly people working here…thanks!
Mel Orillo
What a great Ice cream shop. These girls are fast with service. Vanilla and Chocolate flavors are JAM packed with flavor!. Another must visit location!
Christopher Chesnut
It's so retro!! It's classic old school magic!!! Excellent location as well. You won't be disappointed. Make sure to walk around back and check out the mural and the whole lot!!!
Joy Chen
Mentioned that it was my first time and they let me try sooo many flavors! I think I tried at least 6. Ended up going with the Mexican Chocolate (my favorite of the bunch), Salted Caramel, and Oatmeal Cookie. Their ice cream is fairly fluffy and I had no problems finishing a large.
There is really nothing like eating ice cream in 30 degree weather (no indoor seating). Your ice cream never melts! But I wimped out after like 5 minutes and ran back to the car. And then my ice cream did melt.. :<
Leah Day
Delicious ice cream with giant portions and lots of flavor options! Will definitely plan on going back!
Guneet Chadha
They have such unique yet amazing flavors .... I got the "salted Oreo" ... which is one of their most popular flavorsI'd definitely go back again.
They are very patient and encourage you to try lots of flavors before ordering !! 5 stars in a Old Highlands neighborhood :)
Samantha Clem
Little Man is the best ice cream shop in Denver. The atmosphere is amazing, and they have friendly staff.
seth morrow
This was genuinely the best ice cream I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of ice cream in my life and travels (I'm not sure eating a lot of ice cream is something I should brag about?). We went a couple times on a trip to Denver. One time during the weekday and it was empty, and another time on a Friday evening with a line down the block. Both times the staff were so incredibly kind and helpful, the ice cream was insanely creamy, and the servings were beyond generous for the price. Like seriously a small is massive, the double is like a pint haha. I'm going here every time I pass through Denver.
E M
New flavor ALERT: Tres leches 🔥
We stopped by today and got a scoop of the Tres Leches flavor with their classic Salted Oreo flavor. It was delicious!
Note: Be prepared to wait in line for a few minutes.
Victor Torres
Some of the best and unique flavors one can find with ice cream and the red velvet cream cheese ice cream sandwich was such a great surprise. Ice cream hits differently in the cold.
Tobias Cruz
Little man has some of the best workers! They're always so lively and knowledgeable about the ice cream they serve, and it's always super delicious. The location is absolutely amazing, and the view of the city is very fun to watch at night. The only downside is that it gets super busy sometimes and can form a line that reaches the end of the block, but that goes to show how worth it Little Man Icecream is!
Michael Sorg
Very good creamy ice cream. My chocolate milkshake had a perfect chocolate balance. The strawberry lemonade sorbet was tasty not to sweet. Only downside was service is slow but that's their setup
Victoria Chapin
First time in Denver, and my friend REQUIRED us to go here! We both got the Lavender Lemon Poppy Seed Sorbet. REALLY strong flavors; might have been better as an ice cream in our opinion. But the workers were rad and it was a lovely area!
Jesse Sparks
This place is so good. Its bombdiggity! They have great flavors. Always keeping it fresh, and delicious. The line is always long but they do their best to keep it moving. Whenever I travel to Denver I make it a point to stop there. Dates, for kids, and adults. Who doesn't love a sweet treat?
Sung Park
Decent ice cream with generous portion. You can share single cup for two and will still full both. Variety of flavors and Purple Cow was very good. You should expect very long wait in the evening. They had a jazz group playing in the area.
Hollie Smith
So cool and delicious ice cream. Parking was not great, but there was a lot across the street that you could pay for.
RENJANA PILLAI
Love the fact that they allow you to mix endless numbers of flavours in the same cup. Would recommend it on your next visit to the city.
Chase Nelson
Easily the best ice cream I've had in Denver. I'd love to hit this up in the summer.
Julia Near and Far
I had an awesome salted Oreo ice cream cone at Little Man Ice Cream. Plenty of outdoor seating areas, but more shade from the sun is needed.
Kassie B.Davis
The line is always worth the wait. Very delicious ice cream. They do have an occasional second fast lane for a few flavors. Definitely reccomend for anyone traveling from out of town/state.
Chloe Bailey
Such fun flavors!! And great staff that offered great recommendations for us first timers. My favorite flavor was the space jam one (I can't remember the name exactly). But I loved the black raspberry and chocolate. My friend got the shake recommended by the guy working there that was a banana with chocolate ice cream (I think she got the 16th street chocolate one). Can't wait to visit Denver again and go back!
William Kewer
Wasn’t feeling full after an underwhelming meal at another establishment so I decided to go big. Had a large dipped waffle cone with sprinkles. Yum! Strawberry, Espresso fudge and cookie dough were the flavors. All delightful. A bit melty but creamy and went down easy. The dipped waffle was great. Good service.
Josh Davis
Traveled to Denver and was told by several people that I needed to stop by The Little Man Ice Cream and it was absolutely amazing! We ordered 4 different flavors for our family and they were all fantastic! I text multiple people I knew after visiting telling them they must stop by! Must stop every time I come to Denver.
Divy Vasal
Popular local handmade ice cream shop offering many flavors. I had the double chocolate cone. The portion was decent (just a single scoop would have sufficed) and the ice cream flavor was quite good. The texture was a bit more gooey and dense than I expected. Will definitely give it a second try the next time I am in Denver. Went there after dinner and there was a huge line outside, but they had set up a small kiosk serving a selection of their most popular flavors right outside the actual shop. The tall ice cream can shaped building made of steel is easily recognizable from a distance.
Saralyn Voltz
Super cute little area and ice cream is delicious. Thankfully they set up multiple areas to help with crowds and wait time.
Went for swing night, which is always fun. A little tough to dance on the bricks but always good to dance to live music and for free!!
Joshua Harris
It was good ice cream. Nothing seemed overly unique but I liked that I could get a really small taster size.
Syerra Noel
Hands down THE BEST ice cream in Denver!🍦 A must try!
There is usually a line, so anticipate waiting about 10-15 minutes. It's so worth the wait though 😄 …
Brianna Gonzalez
Love this local ice cream favorite! Line is usually long but moves quick, ice cream is delicious and they don’t skimp on portions and they had live jazz playing the night we visited.
Cathy Verbrugge
So delicious!! Great home-made ice cream. They usually have a few sorbets too!! Regular and waffle cones, milk in a box!!
John Strode
As a family, we search out good ice cream wherever we go. We recently moved here from Kansas City where we had our “go to” ice cream spots. This is now our “go to” spot here in Denver! Best in all of Denver!
Bunny King
What a perfect little ice cream shop. Great variety of flavors to choose from. Delicious vegan options. You wouldn't even know are vegan. Great decor. Friendly service. Prepare to wait a short bit in line. It moves quickly. Worth it for sure!
Chris
I love the atmosphere here. The giant bilk jug structure and ample outdoor seating alone make this a gem. The small batch ice cream here is great. Unfortunately they were out of some toppings when I arrived, but the ice cream itself was great. The lines are massive, but they move quickly, so don't let that dissuade you
Cherry
One of our favorite ice cream place in Denver. They have variety of flavors to choose from. We recently tried their new Earl Grey tea and it was really good. Would recommend it to try and so the espresso fudge ice cream.
Worarat Pichpongsa
I heard that usually the queue is very long. However, today is very cold. There is no queue but people constantly stop by to get either take-home or just have it there despite the cold weather. Very good texture and really tasty ice cream. Highly recommended.
Andrew Dunn
This ice cream is super yum! The vegan rocky road was one of my favorites and its dairy free! Check it out if you are near by the Highlands! Seating is also outdoors but they do have propane heaters if it gets really cold.
G M
Ice cream just just as good as all the hype. Very fun friendly staff. Will definitely return
Jenny Barrett
YUM! I ordered a “lil,” and it was literally a condiment cup 🤣. Still good tho. …
Nola Lu
Some of the best ice cream I have ever had, anywhere. We tried a few different places in Denver and this was by far the best. We even came back twice within four days! And not only is it delicious, it's so affordably priced as well! Get Salted Oreo; you won't be disappointed. However, expect super long lines during the weekends and peak hours, though they will put up their side stand for limited flavors to help with that.
Jonathan
Staff was very kind and helpful and food was delicious.
Just prepare to wait in line for over 30-40min
Ashley Emily
Amazing ice cream! Staff is friendly and area is nice. Prices are pretty reasonable and we ordered a couple of vegan ice cream sandwiches and they were delicious. Service here is excellent. Love it!!
Sara L
Delicious icecream in Denver, loved the different flavour options. There is always a lineup but it moved quite quickly. I love that they have a good amount of seating around to allow people to sit and enjoy their ice cream without it melting all over the place. I tried the dulce de lece on a cone and it was lovely, just enough caramel flavour without being super sweet.
Jackie Reynolds
Ice cream was wonderful.
I took my Grandchildren, for their first time, I loved the variety of entertainment for them. Everything went well. The only issue I had, was being treated so rudely by the employees working on the ice cream being scooped into Quarts and Pints, and cake decorating.
I just asked if they decorate one of your freezer, where before I could get the question, he shouted I'm not doing it! the older gentleman was not very nice
nick doman
My favorite ice cream in Denver. They just need more vegan flavors!
Peter Phakonekham
Great staff and service 👏!! I came here because i saw it on social media (tik tok) app and gave it a try. It was so delicious and well worth for a nice warm day. The salted oreo was great!! …
Christy Bligh
I absolutely LOVE Little Man Ice Cream. With their ever-changing, unique ice cream flavors in a distinctly all-outdoors Colorado setting, there's a whole lot to love. Little Man holds many fun events year round, from October pumpkin carving to a Christmas tree lot during the holiday season to dancing and outdoor movies in the summer, there's always a good reason to head to Little Man (even if it's just to hang out and eat some ice cream, let's be real).
Lora Sal
The ice cream is great!!! So delicious!! Their flavors were a little unusual - in a good way - but very very delicious. Even the sorbet! The day we went there was a HUGE line (which is what attracted us, we took it as a hint that the ice cream was exceptional! Some 30-40 min later we found out just how good! Well worth the wait!). The shop itself is sooo adorable too! It's inside a milk tin! A GIANT milk tin!
Meg Short
Ambiance 10/10 and my husband's pina colada was the best dairy free ice cream we've ever had! Pro tip, just go to the express line shack around the corner and look at the flavors they have there before you wait in the 40 minute main line.
Shelby Pedersen
Delicious ice cream! Try the unique flavors, you won't be disappointed. We had the blackberry honey goat cheese flavor and it was outstanding. Classics are great too. Expect a long line.
Jon Slack
Loved the different flavor options. The ice cream was great and it's a nice little spot to stop and cool off. Highly recommend.
Jon Bawden
Big fan of the salted caramel peanut butter cup ice cream. Great service
Andi Lutz
The staff is so lovely and the ice cream never disappoints!
Rabia Abdulmajeed
The line seems long but the wait isn’t too bad. I think it’s worth the wait. Hubby and I ordered two waffle cones. One with Mexican chocolate , vanilla bean and the black and white. The other cone was chocolate birthday cupcake and the salted Carmel peanut butter cup. All amazing!! I would only say the salted caramel is really salty. After a little time. It becomes too salty to continue eating it.
Rich Bromberg
Long line but well worth the wait. Some of the best ice cream I've ever eaten. Had the salted Oreo, their specialty. And Mexican chocolate. Both were incredible
Huge portions as well.
Tamara Green
Cute little ice cream place that looks like a milk jug! The ice cream was very creamy and delicious. We had the salted caramel peanut butter cup and the rocky road in waffle cones. YUM! Parking is on street but we didn't have any issues finding a spot. There was a small line that moved quickly. Highly recommend!
Bryan Clark
Great ice cream! Be prepared to wait 15+ minutes during peak times but know it’s well worth the wait. Awesome patio to enjoy the ice cream and the company you are with.
Justin Lee
This place is fun, zany, and the ice cream is worth the pilgrimage for. Staff is passionate and full of recommendations and willing to share tastes for you to find your favorite.
Arun Raj
Authentic and delicious! Had an amazing experience and the staff were really friendly. I believe every flavour is genuinely unique and the portions are generous for the price. Definitely worth the wait.
Kenn L.
Neat little ice cream spot with relatively big servings. The strawberry lemonade was kinda bland, but the blackberry goats milk was superb
Kurt R
This is one of the best ice cream places I've ever eaten at. They constantly change around their flavors, so you can get quite the experience every time you go. They change up the decorations seasonally and same with their flavors. They have vegan options for ice cream that are to die for! I'm not vegan but I still would eat those if I had a chance. Also, in the summer, they have small dance parties from time to time on their plaza. Usually it's swing themed, as they are trying to keep with the classy feeling. It's best to go to this place during the week days, or expect a line! Even when there is a huge line, it still moves faster than you would expect. The people that work here are some of the nicest people. I always tip near 80-100% on it. Tasting ice cream is free, so don't be hesitant to ask!
Mike Sperry
Their ice cream is fantastic and they will let you taste as many flavors as you want. It's a fun place to take company too on a hot day, or in the middle of winter.
Denise Mast
Best ice cream in Denver! Always greeted warmly by the staff and love the addition of the express area with a variety of flavors!
Jake Yarmoff
Little Man is truly some of the BEST ice cream I've ever had. Portions are generous, flavors are amazing, and the atmosphere is great. The staff is so incredibly friendly; we went back a second night and Bryce took care of us, the same guy who helped us the first night. He remembered what we'd chatted about the night before, and even through a bonus item into our order, on the house. Can't say enough good things about the place.
Chelsea Allio
Always love their ice cream! I recommend the salted Oreo if you're into that sort of things. Is a perfect balance!
Nathan Wengert
Long line means it's great! Though the ambiance is robbed a bit by a sewage smell coming from a manhole in the middle of the seating area. Free water at a fountain. Excellent service!
Kyle Bennison
SECRET TIP: Go to the stand to the left of the giant milk jug stand. It serves the same little man ice cream, but only a few of the popular flavors, but with a way shorter line. Unless you want something really specific, just go to the smaller stand for scoops.
The vegan chocolate Oreo is great and unique. Order a small or a kids - it is SO dense and you won’t need that much!
Vishnu S
It was one of the best ice cream I had in my life. We stood in a queue of 100 ppl at 10pm and it was raining. There was a different counter with less ppl waiting for only 4 varieties. We decided to take the shorter one and taste one in that 4 varieties and it was good. If I go to Denver again, I will taste a different flavor
Yixing Liu
Delicious ice cream with multiple flavors in cups, waffle cones, and shakes.
Aparna S.
The line was extremely long but well worth the wait. Friendly staff and lots of interesting ice cream flavors for folks who like experimenting. I tried the purple cow ice cream (black raspberry with dark and white chocolate chunks)... it was delightful and gratifying.
Kenneth Bass
Awesome place with amazing atmosphere. Good ice cream with quirky flavors and the old familiar favorites too. They have vegan options for those who are either lactose intolerant or dont want dairy. Great place and will definitely visit again. When you go be prepared to wait in line and look for a parking spot. They are busy.
Joshua Rodriguez
An amazing ice cream spot next to Linger. We went here after dinner and WOW was it good!
They even had Vegan ice cream. Not all flavors listed on their website are available at all times so make sure to select a backup choice.
Sharayah Marie
Little Man's deserves the line they have! Always a variety of creative flavors that are always delicious! They cater to lactose intolerance, vegans, you name it! Always a nice treat after a walk in the park. Bear really loved his first time here as well!
Amasa Smith
Little Man makes amazing ice cream that’s always worth waiting in line for no matter the season. They rotate their flavors often, which is another reason to come again and again. Their more traditional flavors, such as chocolate, are incredibly delicious, and more unique flavors like Space Junkie (as seen in the attached photo) is truly out of this world. The staff is always friendly and happy to let you try samples of amazing flavor after amazing flavor. You truly can’t go wrong with whatever you choose.
Holly Barnett
While visiting Denver, we noticed the long line everytime we passed this spot. We finally braved it, I think it took about 35 minutes on a Saturday night for us. Quicker than expected. It was well worth the wait, though! Delicious and creative flavors, perfect consistency, the sweetest staff and such a fun date vibe! We miss it now that we're back in Arizona.
Cherie Van Duyn
Even though the line (to place your order) was quite long, it moved quickly. The ice cream was fantastic! 😋 …
Brian Baker
Interesting little shop with great ice cream and very friendly staff! Parking was a bit hard to find without paying $ though, and wished there was some indoor seating out of the cold. Otherwise, we would definitely come back!
Jesse Jacoby
Other than the long lines on weekends (because they are popular), there is nothing bad to say about this fabled establishment. Delicious and a great setting to relax.
Madison Marie
Delicious!! My friend and I visited Denver this week and had been looking for an icecream place to visit, but hadn’t found one that especially caught our eye, until we came across Little Man. It is a shop designed as a giant tin bucket sitting in the middle of a suburb of Denver, and when we got there the line outside was so long! This was the first sign it would be delicious. We waited for probably 15 mins, but that was okay because it gave us plenty of time to look at the unique menu. There are basic flavors, chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, but also unique ones like Bailey’s and chocolate peanut butter! There are also vegan options. We ordered double waffle cones and they were huge! We only paid 5 dollars for them too! This place is a must-see in Denver!
Cristal
Long line to get ice cream but it's definitely worth it. The scoops are pretty big and worth the price. I would've loved to have seen more flavors available or for the chocolate cones but even without these, it did not disappoint.
Thomas Radde
Truth be told, I personally did not eat here, but my compatriots and the MASSIVE line of people waiting to order their ice cream from this unique and lively little stand would probably say that the ice cream was worth the wait. My five stars is for the atmosphere really. The place had a ton of outdoor seating, a slide that kids were loving, there was a random swing dance class going on in the square and a giant cream jug serving ice cream. What's not to love?
Dana Hughes Jr.
Our first trip was great. It was a beautiful day so the line was long, but the service and the ice cream made it all worth it.
Garrick Russell
Outstanding ice cream. Similar in quality and style to salt and straw, but more affordable. Love their use of salt.
Zach Ritschard
Fantastic little Ice cream shop!! Well worth the wait and they have an express cart with select/basic flavors if your in a rush.
John Parsons
Wow, great ice cream. The salted caramel peanut butter cup is amazing. The line is typically long, but moves quickly. Lots of places to sit. Try a couple flavors, they don't mind. Single size is actually a good amount of ice cream and with a single size you can get two different flavors.
Michael Canfield
The ice cream here was absolutely fantastic. The space junkie (blackberry brownie) was the best ice cream I've ever had. They have a huge variety of tame and interesting flavors. And there's always a vegan option or two on the menu.
It's a little hard to park right by it, but use the REI lot across the street. The building itself is an old fashioned milk container. Be prepared to wait in a long line (40-50 people some times). However it's consistently worth it.
Ya Han Li
Tiramisu was soooo great! Also you can have a try before buying any ice cream, which is wonderful for people who are difficult to choose🤣 …
Connie Galvan
Yum! Long line but worth it. Wish they'd share their menu posted throughout the line cause you have to panic order when you finally get to the front haha. My panic order was still delicious, purple cow! Raspberry with chocolate chips.
Stan Prothero
Awesome ice cream but like any ice cream vendor, some are better than others. The salted caramel Oreo is a flagship and hard to beat
Natalie Hawley
Truly scrumptious ice cream with plenty of options, including vegan options! There was a line, and I imagine the wait could get lengthy during the summer. There is only outdoor seating, but the space is really cool.
Kirt Kingzett
How can ya go wrong with Ice cream. The location is perfect with plenty of seating around the area. Salted Oreo is great! They even have a few vegan options. You can ask for a sample to be sure you get something you really like. Cone, waffle cone or a cup works! Enjoy cheers. The line might be intimidating but it does move quickly.
Lorena Rivas
I'm in love with this place! The staff are so nice! We went around 9pm and the line was crazy!!! But it moved pretty fast. I tried all kinds of flavor and it was hard to choose! I ended up with Space Junkie OMG! It was mind blowing. Totally recommended!
Dennis Bloom
In the mood for an exceptional experience? Try Little Man Ice Cream! Hand crafted product, generous quantities! We will be back!
Matt Cook
Good local ice cream in a neat part of Denver. Usually there is a line but it moves fast and it is fun to just hang out and do some people watching.
David Kumar
Great ice cream place. Friendly staff. A popular spot in town. There are some out door seating by usually people buy their ice cream and explore the city. Reasonably priced.
M V
Salted Oreo is the greatest ice cream I've ever had. Love this place!
Chris S.
Love. This. Place! Lots of cool flavors and then the basics. Be ready to wait in line though. It is a great area so you could go to a nice dinner and then have dessert here after. There are also a lot of outdoor spots to enjoy it. Tip: make sure to check there smaller distribution spot not to far from the main window; you can get their main flavors without the long line.
Fonz M
It’s no secret. This place has fantastic ice cream. There is a line even when it’s cold out. Good selection of unique flavors. Great social spot during the summer. Parking can be a little tricky but well worth the visit.
Deidra B
Really good ice cream! The line is super long but it moves pretty quickly. The outdoor dining space is great. I can't say this is the greatest tasting ice cream I've ever had, but it's delicious.
Marcia Pike
Nice outdoor space with good live entertainment.Very busy. Several flavors of ice cream. Do not plan on parking close. Parallel on street parking is what is available. Fun experience.
Felix
Good ice cream no doubt. Just on the pricey side that's all
B D
Best ice cream I've had in a very long time! and honestly, it's better than Ben & Jerry's.. coming from someone who lives in Vermont, home of Ben & Jerry's..
The Vanilla alone is just out of this world!
Tanya
The ice cream is sooo creamy!!! This place is amazing. The salted oreo is a must try🤤🤤
They have an express to help things moving because the line to main window can get pretty long …
G ! Daddy
The vegan salted chocolate oreo is pretty great
Don “C60CARBON” Meckel
Plan ahead it's so popular it's usually packed. It makes for great atmosphere. You Hanna have to test the ice cream 🍦 for Yourself 🙃🍦 …
Heather Glocke
Tip: if you want a shorter line they have an ice cream cone or bowl line with specific flavors. However, the wait is worth it. I couldn't decide so I went with two different scoops in my cone.
Drew S
Truly a staple of Denver. As such it is definitely a tourist trap, expect upwards of a 30+ minute wait if you visit Thursday to Sunday, especially if it's hot out. Not worth the wait for locals otherwise it's a great spot.
John DeMartino
Got the 16th st chocolate, they had a lot of good flavors but nothing really stood out and made me want it. The chocolate brownies, in chocolate ice cream, so if you want your chocolate fix this one is for you.
Mike Singh
I’ve been to Denver twice, stopped here both times. You just have to. Their ice cream is creamy and delicious. It’s a small place and you sit outside. There is usually a long line but I’d say around 4 people helping customers and helping things move along as smooth as possible.
Lauren Miller
One of the most popular ice cream shops in Denver for good reason! Unique flavors, creamy ice cream and great ambiance. Feels like a good old fashion ice cream stop on a summer day.
Lee Black
It is much talked about. Frankly, the selections did not appeal to me. Wound up getting vanilla. I would not stand in line again for their product.
Angela Sheldahl
Cute spot in down town Denver. A variety of different & unique flavors of ice cream. I enjoyed a banana pudding malt while my husband had the 16th street chocolate scoops. Little Man also partners with an organization for every scoop sold, it donates food to less fortunate countries.
Aleesa Parsons
Double scoop was huge! You can get a smaller amount and still try three different flavors. I had Salted Oreo and Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Cup. Both were amazing, super creamy, perfect texture. The Oreo was a bit on the salty side. Want to try Purple Cow next time. Worth the wait!!
Dustin Vance
Amazing ice cream! Love the outdoor atmosphere, don't think twice... Just go try it for yourself.
Ezhi Subramanian
Denver's one of the best ice cream spots. Their salted Oreo and 16th St Chocolate are one of the best ones.
Jason Campbell
Yummy, affordable dips served with a smile! Also, a side of live, local music! I loved the setup of the outdoor shop, with seating (coverage for rain) and a bathroom.
Read about this Denver "must" in CultureTrip and it was definitely worth the track from downtown.
There was a line, so I decided to go to the express cart. It's the same creamery, but only serves the basic flavors. I'm not basic, I just hate waiting in lines!!! Salted Oreo was too salty but loved the vanilla.
There are lots of restaurants around, so stop here for an appetizer or dessert ;) and the lovely park is nearby to walk off your calories. Enjoy.
Chris Lorance
If you prefer a milkier ice cream to ones that use thickeners (eggs or worse), than you will really enjoy this place. The purple cow is my favorite. Note, thickeners are for amateurs.
Jessica Fields
Always very good, almost always a line. Flavors often change. They do events often, just don't expect them to run on time. A 1-3pm event went until 5, and of course there were prizes so we stayed.
I love that they are charitable and offer a variety of vegan options.
Lindi Mills
Delicious 🤗 I had a meeting there and there was lots of seating and no line at 6:30 and when we left at 8 there was a huge line and no seating so keep that in mind …
Maths Ren
Ice cream sandwiches are amazing. Can't decide if I like the Peanut Butter Chocolate or Red Velvet more! Watch out for long lines in the evenings, especially weekends....but totally worth it!
Cody Boren
Killer good homemade ice cream. I had a pumpkin chocolate chip and honey almond double cone.
Abhishek Bhattacherjee
Great tasting ice cream. Select any flavor and you can never go wrong! Long lines (because this place is very popular) but worth the wait.
Mayra Cadiz
Probably the best ice cream I have ever had. The Salted Oreo is delicious! This was one of our last stops before heading to the airport, so I had to get another scoop before leaving. Will definitely be coming back whenever I come back to Denver!
thomas wood
LM always has the flavors to cap off the night. The line is long, but quick. I even learned how to dance to swing music while I waited...
Tricia A
little ice cream, big flavor! a little spendier than the average ice cream place but an iconic thing to do while in denver. though the line is long, the staff is very friendly and attentive!
Caylee Steenbock
This ice cream spot is awesome! My friend had been here before and recommended we go while we were in Denver. The ice cream was delicious! Such a neat place!
Johnna Gale
Really amazing ice cream from local churners. An iconic place to visit in Denver.
Expect to wait in line, so take a friend.
They have vegan options!
Katherine Regardie
Little Man has been my go-to ice cream place for years. I have never had a bad experience. Once a year, they do a sale on the coldest day of the year for $1 pints of a selected variety of Ice Cream. The line was down the block in 11°F weather because everybody loves Little Man
Abby Reyna
Nice place for ice cream.... why 3 stars?!?.... pricey for "just" ice cream.... but it was popular.... line was around the corner.... give it a try... you might like it.... a plus.... waffle cones were made right there and the smell was simply amazing.... friendly staff.... and they have different daily night venues....
Farima Fani
Great ice cream and good service, there was a line down the block but they had quick service and we waited only a few minutes.
Samantha Shepard
Very cute spot with great ice cream. I tried the Strawberry and loved it! They had some fun and funky flavors and I loved the cream jug structure!
Justin Nash
Denver classic, this ice cream shop is a must try and has such a fun environment to enjoy your ice cream.
Katie Sproles
The best ice cream. Flavors change pretty regularly but it’s delicious! Lots of options to try always and great waffle cones
Thea Dirani
Best ice cream I ever had in my life!
I got the hot cocoa vegan ice cream, and my girlfriend had the chocolate covered strawberries and cheesecake brownie. Absolutely delicious and really good portions! We were going to drive back 30 minutes for another serving if we didn’t have to be at the airport at a certain time.
I wish you would deliver to Florida.
Lauren Nicole Salgado
When we told our wedding planner that we wanted to skip the cake and do an ice cream bar for our wedding instead, she did not hesitate to recommend Little Man and we are so happy she did. The entire experience working with them was wonderful - they were so easy to communicate with and they provided an adorable tasting so we could pick our flavors. The day of, they had their cute bicycle at our venue and it was a huge huge hit with our guests. We are so happy with how this turned out and Little Man was so wonderful to work with!
Hannah
The icecream was absolutely amazing! I had salted maple pecan and it’s truthfully some of the best icecream I’ve ever had! I also love that Little Man Ice Cream donates a scoop of rice for every scoop purchased. There are two minor, but identifiable, drawbacks. The line is incredibly long and slow moving (we probably waited close to 45 mins on a Thursday night) and you have to be careful what line you get in as each flavor is only served at 1 of the 2 stations (super inconvenient if the person you are with wants a flavor at the other station).
Brian Bruns
I live in the ice cream capital of the world, so I eat a lot of ice cream, and I can honestly say this is the best I've ever had.
It was well worth the 30 minute walk, and the 30 minute wait in line.
Jason Sedillo
This is a wonderful place to bring friends and family while in Denver Colorado. Little Man makes all off their ice cream fresh daily. Their seasonal flavors are an ice cream lovers dream. Some of my favorites are pumpkin pie, salted maple pecan, and blue berry goat cheese to name a few. Not only does Little Man have splendid cream, but the ambience adds to the mystic of this icre creamery. From live music, to late night movies this place is a true Denver Gem!!!
Steve Rice
Delicious. Be prepared to wait in line...but it's so worth it. I had pineapple upside down cake shake. Wanted to try every flavor. Good thing I don't live locally, I'd be big as a house.
John Coronado III
The young lady messed up my order but I'm not the one to complain about petty things - the environment was great and the crowd gave of good vibes great atmosphere
olivia M
Yum! Fast service and great flavors. The best mint chocolate chip ice cream I’ve ever had! Their German chocolate cake ice cream and red velvet ice cream sandwiches were fabulous as well.
Sherrill Huelsman
Best ice cream I’ve ever had! Wonderful service and a super cute building/atmosphere.
Avery Kobzina
Ice cream is okay but not worth the wait at all. Tourist trap, owner is contributing towards gentrification in the area (seriously look into this person). If anything I just wanna go here to try and offer those poor workers real jobs so they don't get stuck in that horrid tiny can. Can't imagine how horrid the employee winters must be
Gayle V
Great ice cream. Fun place! Ice cream 🍨 is outstanding with lots of flavors and cone choices to choose from. We recommend bringing the kids (or adults) here while in the Denver area. 🍦 …
Andrea Shaver Carpenter
We lucked out with a 25 minute wait the afternoon we went. Ice cream is delicious. Highly recommend checking the express board upon your arrival to see if there is a flavor you would like there!
Molly Katolas
A fun place to stop if you're in the area. On nice days there's always a line, so just be prepared to wait a bit, it's part of the whole experience. Plenty of tables and chairs if you want to hang around, or you can take your ice cream on a walk over the bridge into downtown.
Raymond Monson
Line around the block. Torn on if it was worth it but the seasonal pumpkin ice sample was delicious. They offered more samples but I wasn't going to be "that guy" because the line was freaking long and I already waited. Just wanted my ice cream.
Ordered the old faithful mint chip cone and wasn't disappointed. The building is definitely unique and i could see it as a cool place to bring kids.
Christopher Moore
Great location in a cool neighborhood. Many delicious and unique flavors. Long lines, but that’s just part of the experience. Particularly love the live music and swing dancing in the summer. I bring visitors to Little Man all the time.
dah sky
Really great vibes here, there's live music to dance to if you're into it. The ice cream itself is pretty great but the line is quite long. Who cares though, you've got music to listen to! There's also a little slide tucked away if you want to feel like a kid again.
Rylee Berti
Fantastic ice cream and an adorable atmosphere. Can be crowded but moves fast
Casey Lu
Such a sweet spot! Really fun flavors. Plus, we were there on cinco de mayo and there was a folklorico dance presentation which was lovely as we sat and ate our ice cream. Always seem to have a long line, and the salted caramel was a tad bit too salty, but overall definitely worth the visit!
Joel
Iconic Denver Highlands parlor. I don’t care how long the line is, it’s worth the wait. FYI, There is an express line with limited flavors that are always changing. Perfect for the family, a date night, or just to take in the beautiful atmosphere of the area.
Amber Recker
Cute spot to enjoy some delicious ice cream! The slide is fun for kids.
Haleigh S
Awesome ice cream stop downtown- local flavors and the unique building draw a crowd but worth the wait
Ericka Birdsong
Great ice cream! My entire family loved it!
Jessica H
Best ice cream ever! The salted oreo is by far the best flavor. Bring the pup for a small scoop of vanilla. My pup loves it
Tim Nitschke
Loved the ice cream and atmosphere. Perfect for those hot summer nights. Be on the look out for the express booth that has half the flavors when the regular line gets extra long.
Andrew Evans
It gets very busy so be prepared to wait but it is very good. I got an Almond Joy malt and it was very delicious. Employees were very nice.
Robert Frazier
They have a great selection of ice creams and friendly customer service. They also provide vegan options for ice cream. The only downside was them running out of my first choice in ice cream.
Adam Ton
Little man brings to mind Willy Wonka and his Oompa Loompa’s, small in size, big in flavor and charisma! This place is simply phenomenal, the ice cream tastes exceptional. Not to be missed while in Denver!
Jeff Dickens
Great ice cream, friendly staff, cool atmosphere. Not much else you could ask for.
Lok Yiu Wong
Great ice cream. Usually there is a long line but there was no line when we went. The cashier was nice and even gave us a free scoop of ice scream. The banana split was so good !
Jeremiah B Israel
This is by far one of the best ice creams spots i have ever tasted. You can taste the freshness and homemade quality. I will keep coming back. If you see a line for ice cream in the cold just know its worth it
Alex Hamborsky
Ice cream was a fair price for the amount given. Highly decorated outdoor seating area with ample room. Ice cream was pretty good, very rich and smooth. Parking is difficult in the area. Had a huge line but moves steadily enough. Really need to modernize and start posting available flavors online.
caleb kangas
Great ice-cream, got the mint and the vanilla in a waffle cone. Will go back again
Munchkin Galbraith
Best ice cream and love customer service.
Iowa Reviewers
A good place for some very tasty ice cream. I've been here several times, and the ice cream is always delicious! Because many of the flavors rotate, it can be fun to try different ones--you may find a new favorite! Seating is limited for the amount of people who often are here, and the line can get long at times, but the ice cream is worth it--enjoy!
Serena Weber
The best ice cream in Denver!! And thank you for always having vegan ice cream options!!
Deborah Longnecker
Been going here since 2011 and they always have the BEST ice cream. The flavors are always wonderful.
Worth the wait every time.
Philip Burtt
Best peanut butter ice cream I’ve ever had. Atmosphere is awesome. You won’t be disappointed.
Tanya Cardwell
Best ice cream venue in Denver. Movies are projected on the wall during summer. My husband's happy place.
Sofia Lozada
Very very cute place and really good ice cream. I am giving them 4 stars because there is always a line and its not the best ice cream I've ever had but still really good.
Ann Santos
First time there...although the line was long, it was moving. Service was great and the dulce de Leche was great. Great atmosphere
Justina Poliakova
This place is so cute and ice cream is delicious with a lot of options! Had salted Oreo and salted caramel peanut butter cup that was goood!
Ryan DeGregorio
Ice cream is phenomenal, and the people that served us were so friendly! They asked us where we're from and wished us good travels.
Nasty Jay
Great ice cream but not great service. The kids behind the counter are unsupervised and incapable of making a simple chocolate shake. It is a 40min drive for us so there is now no reason for us to come back again.
Will
Overrated salted ice cream— way too salty and I love salty foods… chai ice cream was weakk. Crazy long line
Loan Phan
The wait is always long but the ice cream is always DELICIOUS! We had the salted oreo cookie ice cream sandwich and double scoop of salted caramel peanut butter cup and coconut caramel samoa!
Kacie Morgan
While the ice cream is delicious and staff are super friendly the parking is horrible in this area of town. Line wait was about 45 min when we went but ice cream was worth the wait. They do have a few vegan options as well.
Tina Watts
Great ice cream. Great vegan items.
R J
So much flavor, so clean, wonderful staff! Love this place
Maham Boghani
The vegan chocolate salted Oreo here is some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had!!! The line here tends to be rather long, so def take that into account. But def worth it!!!
William DeWitt
Very good ice cream and the fall themed open air seating was very festive!
Shannon Sage
Delicious ice cream and fun atmosphere. We went at an off time, 5:30pm, to avoid any long lines. We were able to walk right up. There was a small selection of ice cream flavors that included the classics chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Was nice to have the option of sizes in either a cup, sugar cone or waffle cone. More flavor selections in the form of an ice cream sandwich. Free 2 hour street parking around and plenty of places to sit and enjoy.
Jenna Rose
One of the best and cutest Ice cream places I’ve ever been to. I love the vintage feel with the music and decor. The staff was very friendly and patient with me while I took a while to decide what I wanted haha. I highly recommend space junkie( black raspberry ice cream with brownies and a marshmallow swirl). It was truly out of this world!
Shin G
So the ice cream was absolutely delicious, and service was great! Smores flavor was out which was a bummer, but I got chocolate and chocolate chip cookie dough and really enjoyed it. Only real complaint is the lid on the ice cream was really sharp, I cut my finger open trying to get to my ice cream! So enjoy with caution, but it's tasty!
Ryan Reger
I can understand why there were so many people in line. This place was awesome. Some of the best ice cream I've had
Aditya Gupta
They definitely have good flavors for ice cream. If this is your first time, make sure to try different flavors and not go by name
Jake Dodge
Super cute little ice cream shop! The ice cream was honestly just average, but it's the rest of the experience that makes it stand out. The staff is all friendly and it's a cool place right in downtown Denver. You just feel good being there. Definitely worth visiting!
Shehnaz Shaik
Have been told about this must try ice cream place in Denver. Tried their Strawberry flavor and Vanilla with chocolate fudge and oreos. Loved the vanilla with choc fudge oreos but the Strawberry was disappointing, it was too sour to enjoy the flavor. Another thing I liked about this ice cream is its not heavy on your tummy, made me feel light and no weird aftertaste.
There's always a long line but, it moves in no time.
Will definitely try their other flavors and chocolate with fudge and brownie, they ran out of brownies when we were there.
The quantity was generous like everybody else mentioned and the staff was super cool.
Tabitha Pinter
I went on a Tuesday evening, on a mid summer evening. It was a bit crowded and parking was near impossible, but I didn't give up. I kept circling the block until an overpriced parking spot became available in the 8 dollar lot. As I approached the line, I thought to myself, "Man, this better be worth it." The lines went faster than expected. A tourist pushed his way in front of me to get a picture of the tin, Rude! His parents didn't teach him manners, and that's not your fault, but, it was the experience. As I got to the window to decide my fate between a "purple cow" or a "16th street chocolate" I overheard a a man complaining about the weird flavors. He just couldn't wrap his mind around why a shop would put chilli and mango together. He wanted to know why this little tiny place couldn't have "normal" flavors such as vanilla and chocolate. His kid told him to shut up. That's when I knew this place was to hipster for him. Also, kids have no respect these days. I decided to go with the chocolate. It was delicious. Reasonably priced too. You may just encounter a baby boomer with crazy demands, such as just mango with no chilli pepper.
Delaney Brummond
I love Little Man’s ice cream so much. The flavors are so fun, and I can’t wait to try more of them. Space Junkie is incredible. I wish there were more ice creams like it. Recently tried the mexican chocolate, really good. Nothing is quite as good. It’s more expensive than the grocery store ice cream, but always good for celebration.
Joy
The BEST ice cream in Colorado. Definitely recommend visiting here. There is almost always a line, but it is certainly worth it! Delicious rotating flavors, tons of options (ice cream sandwiches, toppings, cones, etc.), yummy ice cream (made by them!!), an awesome building, and a great location make this place one of my all time favorites. Despite long lines and busy days, the staff is always so nice and they never rush you, even letting you sample the flavors!
Kyle Smith
Best ice cream I’ve ever had! Great Vegan options! The Vegan Salted Chocolate Oreo is my favorite!
Chris Groen
They are a great sponsor to the event! Because I am on a special diet I couldn't try the ice cream, but everyone around said good things about it!
russell kauhl
Cool little ice cream parlor! Definitely checkout the milk can shaped one!
Don
Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. We listened to the live band as we waited and they were excellent. If I am ever in the area I will stop back. It was late when we went and there was a long line however it went quickly. It’s well worth it if you are interested.
Ivan Vrabie
Great place for ice cream. A bit busy but the line usually moves and it didn't seem bad and definitely worth the wait.
Drew Potter
Love the space they are in. From the cobblestones they saved from the old street to the awesome shape of the building. There is a slide as well. Oh. And ice cream. Delicious, delicious ice cream.
The salted Oreo ice cream sandwich is not to me missed.
Deborah Fogelman
Fun place to go for unusual and delicious flavors of ice cream, but be prepared to wait in a line to get your taste. It moves quickly, though and it's worth the wait. I had A scoop of Raspberry Love today; refreshing on a hot day!
Kathryn Domagala
We came from out of town- and this place had the most unique flavors and many instagramable moments.
Not only do you purchase your dessert from a giant milk can- but the surrounding seating area was themed and decorated.
Plus the Space Junkie ice cream flavor was a one of a kind experience
Bubblie Blondie
Same pricing as a regular ice cream shop, good flavor. LONG LONG line
Jasmine Schley
Best ice cream ever! They had a raspberry flavor that knocked my socks off
Jim Crofter
Great flavors, great staff, fair prices, good value. Delicious!
Cyndi Connett
Lines are too long, prices are high and the icecream is no better than what you can buy at the grocery store
Daniel B
Great Location and ice cream
Andy G
The line is worth it. They have rotating flavors so there seems to be plenty to try
Tracy Wade
Best Ice Cream ever. Expect a long wait. Super delicious !
Chris Tuscan
The only ice cream you need, and it's quite reasonable compared to other shops in town
Amie Humphrey Facendola
Cute spot, yummy ice cream!
Danielle Sulva
Great place to chill and eat some ice cream! The ice cream is so good, many flavors to choose from. Cool area to hang out and they are always playing 40s 50s music. Definitely recommend!
corey p
By far the best ice cream I have ever had. I am drooling right now just thinking of it. If I'm in Denver I never miss a trip to little man, even if it's out of my way.
Branden Taylor
Great ice cream with huge portions.
Jerry
Neat little ice cream spot. But we got the cinnamon roll ice cream & the cinnamon roll tasted like it was stale.
Bon Manhkong
All hype. No flavor to their ice cream or sorbet... More about the location, decor and hipster factor of this place that makes it popular ...
Tine Schempp
Fantastic ice cream definitely worth the wait! The line looks intimidating but moves quickly. I had the blackberry honey goat cheese flavor and it was phenomenal, perfectly sweet with a hint of savory goat cheese and super creamy. The atmosphere on a nice weather day is great, lots of outdoor seating in a casual setting. The staff were super nice and friendly. I highly recommend!
Kim Tan
Many unique flavors of ice cream can be found here. I had my root beer float which is yummy as well.
Nick Bube
Awesome ice cream with unique flavors, and a nice bluegrass band while we were there...really cool place and totally worth the wait in line
Matthew Vandergrift
My favorite ice cream shop in Denver. The location is perfect for a walk and the staff is very friendly. The flavors have all been good so far and they seem to rotate regularly. I do miss the Rocky Mountain Mint! Prices are reasonable and portions seem generous to me (and I like ice cream!)
They sold xmas trees this year too. Didn’t buy one, but I was tempted since they looked so nice.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and need to satisfy your ice cream cravings.
Juan Herrera
Vegan peanut butter scoop was amazing! I'm not even a vegan
Brea Samp
Cool atmosphere if it's warm outside. I was told that the ice cream here was the best. I thought it was good but that's about it. It was not the best. Will not go out of my way for this place again.
Al Scates
Very good. More like a cross between custard and ice cream, which I like a lot. Cheap for lots of Ice cream. The "single scoop" here is a massive double at most places where I'm from for $2 less, was $5 each for a massive cone I almost couldn't finish. Servers were friendly. Definitely hit up the express line if you don't want/care about toppings, just read both menus.
Chirag Bhat
This is one of the best ice creams ive had. The flavors are umique and amazing, the staff is very friendly and the quantity is huge. I bought the kid one and it still had 2 scoops. Keep in my the lines during night can be very long and upto 30 to 45 mins. Either ways, its a must try and you wont regret standing in the line!!
Kiefer
Been here like a million times, quality is fantastic, they have so many unique flavors, & the employees are always super friendly!
Nothing I can say that hasn't been said before. Just come here - ice cream and shakes are amazing!
Abbey Welch
Delicious ice cream at such a fun spot! Got the pumpkin chip and salted Oreo. Both flavors were very good, but the salted Oreo was very salty!! The building and experience is so fun!
Patrick Freitas
It's all about the atmosphere here. I just like looking at the milk pail thing, it's neat.
Mayuresh Kange
Would not recommend velvet cheesecake sandwich…looked good, but lacked in taste
John Laramie
Some of the best artisan ice cream anywhere. Unique flavors like Salted Oreo and Mexican Chocolate.
sami Bmi
Nice guys and a huge variety of ice cream bigger lane thought like 20 min easy
Chris Warrick
Ice cream was very good and nice atmosphere. Line long but used the express counter at bottom of the hill (have 8 flavors and just cone/dish options) and in and out. Would definitely go there again if in town and have the chance!
Georgia Ipsen
Loved it. Great ice cream and sorbet with a cool slide for the kids!
Kevin Hinton
Great ice cream in a cool area of Denver. Many flavors to choose from and huge portions! Hard not to love this place!
Cliff Smith
A staple in Denver and a must visit if you were tourist and definitely I must visit if you're a local because the line doesn't wrap around the block for no reason
Michael Boyle
I LOVE this ice cream. It’s the cutest outdoor spot. Typically pretty busy. The ice cream is phenomenal. I would go over and over and over and over if I lived in the area.
There are always a good mix of “normal” flavors, fun flavors, and even options for the dairy free/gluten free/vegan crowds.
thomas lalka
Neat little place. We enjoyed our ice cream.
Mysheadlines
This is my favorite ice cream shop in all of Colorado! A family friend Paul is the one who opened this place. But this review is not biased. I am proud to see how amazing Little Man has done since the opening. Their prices are reasonable, their customer service is top notch and the atmosphere is super cute. I also absolutely love the rice program they do to help other people in other countries. Paul has such a good heart and has brought that into this business. I am vegan and I love that they feature a vegan flavor each month. Every vegan flavor I have tried has been amazing! Definitely a must visit ice cream shop if you are in Denver. You may have to wait in line but it will be worth it!
Rachael Toth
Always great ice cream and sorbets. Love the service too. Try the express line if you don't want to wait as long.
-- Update: My previous review is still true! Don't forget about the express line if you don't want to wait and like the favorite flavors!
Sara
Asked for flavor recommendation from staff, Banana pudding was it, and I was not disappointed! It was amazing! Best ice cream I've had in Colorado in two years. I said it. It's true. Oh, and the serving size is out of this world. A single scoop in a cup is massive! Sad we don't live closer! Come up to Collins pretty please!
Erik Bjorge
I mean, of course the ice cream is great, and it's a cool area, but wow, it's popular, and the line is amazingly long, even on a Monday
Jessica Yoguez
The flavors are so unique but have never let me down. The music sets a wonderful ambience - tones of Sinatra and Edith Piaf make moments feel nostalgic and lovely. Certainly an experience worth trying if you’re in the area!
Joshua Hux
Delicious creamy delight. Unique flavors done well. The brownies tasted homemade and fresh from the oven even within the ice cream. Would deffinetly go again.
Nicole Perry
We recently stayed in the LoHi Neighborhood while on vacation and we kept passing this ice cream place. The lines were always wrapped around the corner so we figured we'd try it on our last night in town. Sadly, what we ordered was not good. Both type of ice cream my husband and I ordered were VERY salty. It was not a good flavor... I understand a light salting on some things give it a new twist but these were inedible. Maybe we ordered wrong and there was something better we could have tried. I wanted to like it because it was so cute!
Yash Tiru
Variety of ice cream flavors. Staff were nice too.
Christopher Walker
This place is legitimately awesome. Best ice cream I've eaten in years, and all very fresh and full of flavor. Several of us got the Salted Nutella, which I'd absolutely recommend. We were spooked by a very long line, but things moved along pretty quickly, and the girls behind the counter were very sweet. Definitely go if you're nearby!
Melissa Meyer
Oh yes, you need to try the ice cream here honestly it was the best experience, and best ice cream I've had since well, I don't know when. I don't think I've ever had ice cream that good my 4-year-old had the best day and it all started with an amazing cup of chocolate ice cream. Little man's ice cream is honestly the best I've ever had and I can't wait to have some more
Thomas Evans (tmecolorado)
Pretty much the definition of outstanding ice cream! Delicious combinations and flavors
Maaz Ahmed
Spectacular! However do be prepared to wait in a long hefty line... Ice cream is extremely worth the wait though! Great views of downtown Denver from Little Man Ice Cream just the perfect scenery to keep you busy in line while you get your heavenly Ice Cream.
Clyde vanSchmitt
The iceam is sooooo delicious
Evan McLean
Good place for some sweet ice cream. The space junky was very marshmallowly sweet
Randy Dolin
Love coming here ever time. When you see the giant line don't fret, it usually goes very fast. Diff flavors every time I go and always impressed. Cute little are and even park across street makes this one of my favorite ice cream shops in Denver.
David Owen
While they don't have the most flavors out of some ice cream shops around, it makes up for that with flavor and vibes. The building stands out, the staff is super friendly, and it makes for a good time to grab some ice cream and chill...all pun intended!
Sally Wu
Delicious ice cream at all times of day. Highly recommend coming at 11am so you don't have to wait 30 minutes!
Pablo Q
Finding the line(s) was confusing at first due to the amount of people there. I would recommend it. They also have plant based options. The picture I included had lavender. Delicious
Robert Withrow
Best ice cream we have had since Jeni's in Columbia Ohio.
Lowell Aird
Nice place to sit and enjoy the delicious ice cream. Not a long wait to order. Scoops of ice cream are generous.
TJ Gills
Servers are very kind and they are very dog friendly! I ordered a kid sized with extra toppings and they gave me one size up so it would all 'fit'. Of course the ice cream is top notch as well.

Unbelievably good ice cream. Me and my girlfriend stopped here while visiting Denver and she loved it and what's good with her is great with me. Followed you guys on Instagram And received a free scoop of ice cream. Thanks so much for the incredible customer service.

One of the best ice cream spots in Denver. The wait is worth it. The ice cream and the shakes are delicious, super creamy and rich. Waffle cone is also really good! Line moves pretty quick and everyone is spaced out and wearing a mask. Customer service is always polite and easy to communicate with. They’ll even give you opinions on favorites of their ice cream if you ask. For sure up there with some of the best ice cream I’ve had around the country.

Strawberry ice cream is delicious. Line was ridiculous and the salty Orego flavor was way too salty.

Great place, friendly staff , iconic, super good ice cream.

I'm a heavy man that can put away some serious food but the portions here overwhelmed me. The flavor and richness were off the chart.

I don't know how they do it, but Little Man continues to impress with its ice cream flavors. I'm a big fan of their mexican chocolate and churro flavors. And their seasonal eggnog ice cream sandwiched between ginger cookies is one of the best combinations there is. Their salted oreo is controversial, as some say it's too salty. I'm unfortunately one of those people.

They gave hefty portions of yummy ice cream!

I had lemon lavender. It wasn't my fav.

I love the ice cream! They always have delicious, unique flavors that they rotate out regularly. If you see a long line wrapping around the corner, don’t worry the wait is worth it for the quality of ice cream. Always a great place to stop from dessert after dinner in the Highlands!

We love this place. I've got 2 kids with gluten and dairy allergies but Little Man's constantly has ice cream for them! We went a few nights ago for my birthday and I ordered a milkshake, of course my son with the dairy allergy wanted that to and the sweet girl at the counter made it for him with root beer instead. The line may be long sometimes but it's so worth the wait. Great ice cream and staff!

This place is one of my favorite ice cream spots around the metro area, yeaa it's a bit touristy always but that's great for business. I've loved every flavor ive tried here and will even stop by rain or snow!. I want to start a petition to keep salted oreo year round though...

Great sorbet and vegan option. I really enjoyed the blueberry shortcake!

Grate place! Very busy but worth the wait in line. Fall/Halloween decorations are cool but not scary. Cute place to take the whole family. My son enjoyed it as well.

Space Junkie was some of the best ice cream I’ve had in awhile. I was hearing Take My Breath Away from Top Gun while enjoying.

Always a favorite! Located in a courtyard just below Linger, shaped as a milk can, you can't miss it. There's often a line around the block because it's amazing! Lots of great flavors, even vegan options. A must visit when in Denver.

The ice cream tastes of great quality and flavor. The portions are large and the lines long. As far as scooped ice cream, this place is unbeatable. Please don't change. It's rare to find a place of this quality and value.
