Tried it for the first time after reading reviews that were so helpful. I never understood initially what ice and other items that were here. But upon trying it all makes sense and they are so delicious. I had tried the cotton candy ice and Chocolate strawberry concrete(a type of drink there with ice and frozen custard). Cotton candy as a flavor feels very enticing on the first few spoons but then it was too sweet for my palette, nevertheless it is a good one. The thing that i loved and will try again is the chocolate strawberry concrete. It was so milky and with the correct amount of sugar, that it can be slurped up real fast 😋. Talking about this location’s service, employees were real helpful and suggesting what can a first timer like me could get. You have to stand at the counter look at the menu and order what you would like , and sit in the area designated outside to enjoy your drink or ice. Perfect for Covid-19 phase we are loving with appropriate 6 feet distanced benches :)

A drive through amazing location. Ritas ice is always the best thing after just about any day. With so many rotating flavors, nothing ever gets old. Large ices can have three flavors at once! The custard is just as amazing! Sugar free and dairy free are doable. The cream ices are even non dairy.

Love their custard very good flavor. Beware if you say large in a waffle cone it is so full you wonder how you are going to eat it all. Also the cone doesn't support all that weight. I would say close to 1 pint of custard ice cream. Wow!!

This location is the BEST location in Columbus I've been to so far. This location offers more custard flavors other than Vanilla and Chocolate. They have a great set of staff and open multiple windows for service instead of one big long line. Parking is easy with a medium sized lot shared with other businesses.

The family loves this place and even better since they have a drive through now days. Not an ice cream shop, something very different and cool. They have a ton of flavors and different ways to get a nice treat. If you have never had one of their Italian Ice cups, you really need to give it a shot. Best on a hot day but still well worth it even in cool weather.

I never review places, but I had to! This place is top-notch in everything they do! The product was amazing, service was amazing, everything was incredible! Having been here, I will never go back to any other dessert "vendor." These guys have EVERYTHING you need! I HIGHLY recommend either the Mango Misto or Reese's Peanut butter Mudslide custard!!! Free samples are awesome! You'll walk away from this place with the best dessert you've ever had! 10/10!!!

The resses mudslide is peanut butter heaven and I will,definitely be going back. the prices are good for what you get, and the flavors are really nice. I do kind of wish they had a bigger drive thru though, just cause only two or three cars can fit at a time before were waiting in the street.

Great. Always a great place to go have Italian ice and custard. Great service, and a great variety of Italian ices, custard, smoothies, shakes. If you're looking for a place to have a refreshing treat at a good price, Rita's is the place to go. If I had to complain I would say it would be nice if they had Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc but that is pretty much it.

We visited during an social fundraiser for our kids school. It was very good custard, delicious. Service was good, slow because there were lots of us. However, there were no restrooms, we had to take the kid to the gas station across the street. It was also a hot sunny day and we were baking while waiting in line with no shade. Some umbrellas would be nice in summer.

They’re absolutely lovely and kind people who work here. The desserts are great and there are tons of options; they cycle through flavors, so there’s always something new to try. Highly recommend for everyone to try!

As always, Rita provided us with cold, tasty treats on a hot day! I'm always impressed with the new flavors they jave whenever we go. I got strawberry custard and mango Italian ice. Delicious! They also had standard vanilla and chocolate as well as cookies and cream and similar flavors. I think there must have been over a dozen varieties of ices, too. The servings seem a little smaller than I remember from back in the day, but it has been a while and the tastiness is definitely worth the price!

Man it seems like this place is always busy! Nevertheless, great product served by happy smiling people...what more could you ever want? I think the menu is a little too big, as some of the items are labor intensive. This causes a slower line than you might expect. But still - frozen Custard is awesome. My only complaint is that they hardly ever seem to have coffee custard - my favorite!

Delightful, as usual !! It's less than 5 minutes from home, so it's also a horrible temptation. A scoop each of Mint Chocolate Chip Cream Ice and Chocolate Cake Custard. And my favorite, Root Beer Ice, was on the board again today, so all was right with the world. Happy Birthday, La !!

Rita's is delicious! My husband had never had it and was skeptical it was "that" good. He said it was better than where we usually go for milkshakes. Just beware there is only some outdoor benches for seating, but there are parks not too far where you could also go and enjoy.

I come here with my dog regularly and they always give her a little custard and dog treat. The Banana Cream Pie custard is insanely good I always order it when it's available. The tropical ices are delicious and refreshing. I never regret spending my money here!

This location has a drive through which makes it easy for me to grab an ice cream with my dog. They do sell a dog treat sized ice cream (some soft serve topped with a dog biscuit) and it's free on Mondays for your pup! Use the app for the loyalty program. Love their custard here and the Italian ice is also delicious. If you like Italian ice, check the board when you drive it to see what's available that day.

5 stars for now being open year 'round & w NEW drive through....but the rich creaminess of the frozen custard they are famous for, that people pay a premium for, come back for wasn't.....quite...there ...this visit after the remodel. Maybe just an off night for me or them...I'll give em a couple more tries. -1 star for missing the mark on the taste n texture of their (usually) incredible frozen custard.

A nice summer treat....something different from ice creame. They offer a few options with no sugar. Also generally a litter option for those watching calories. The Key Lime is cool and refreshing. Parking can be a little scarce, simply due to popularity. There are some seating areas outside, which are a nice spot to sit and enjoy your summer-time treats!

This is a awesome place to take a date. I used to come here all the time during the summer when I lived in the neighborhood. They have very good ice cold treats. I usually got anything with ice cream in it. Only slight downside is you have to sit outside or in your car, as there is no indoor seating.

Love this place! Such a large selection of flavors and styles. It gets busy, but the lines move really fast. They have recently made changes to the parking lot so getting in and out is much easier now. I only wish they were open year round.

When I was growing up we always went to the Jersey Shore. And the highlight of the beach day was getting an Italian ice. My favorite was mango, and it was bliss on a hot day. I've tried a lot of Italian ice places hoping to rediscover that joy. I finally did after go to Rita's. One spoonful of mango ice and I was back in my childhood.

Rita's is a gem in the community. It's a hangout for both the young and young at heart. All the flavors of ice are bright and full of natural ingredients. My personal favorite is the cranberry. While sweetened, it still has that sharp tangyness you'd expect when you think of cranberries. Their frozen custard is top notch as well. It's body and taste puts the best DQ to shame. Smooth, thick and strong with vanilla or chocolatey goodness. When you mix the ice and custard into a gelati, you can't go wrong. Rita's, worth the trip.
