My favorite food in the world is peanutbutter ice cream& this peanut butter pie (flavor name) ice cream far exceeded all expectations & ranks in my top ice cream ever. My husband does not love ice cream as much but could not get enough of the maple walnut. The vanilla creamy is her fave and it was the best too. The shop is cute with a drive through on one side and pick up window on the other. There are some seats outside & ample parking. All of the staff we encountered with our party of 5 were pleasant, helpful and patient.

A Vermont gem. I was an occasional customer every summer as a full time Vermonter, but now every summer back in VT Village Scoop is a must. A mint chocolate chip ice cream in a cone and a chocolate ice cream in a cone for my 92 year old "grandmother" friend thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend

let me start off by saying I consider myself an ice cream connoisseur. I think I consume more ice cream than most people. While visiting Burlington we went to the Village scoop and I think I had the best ice cream that I have ever had. Prices were very reasonable, you get a lot for what you pay for. The staff was very friendly. They were also extremely helpful in determining what flavor I got. Letting me try a few samples 😀. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. If you’re in the Burlington or surrounding area a trip to the Village scoop is worth your time and your travels. 🍦🍨

Sorbet! Mango and Blueberry pomegranate flavors. Yummy! The mango was too sweet for my palate but delicious. The blueberry pomegranate was spot on not too sweet. Huge servings and great prices. 2 scoops for $3.50. Great staff-- be sure to tip well-- ita a college fund tip jar.

Was here on vacation and looked for the best ice cream in the Burlington area. I'm glad we ventured out to this place because everything we got was delicious and fresh. The Coffee Buzz sundae was the best thing on the menu; they make their own chocolate covered espresso beans that we're phenomenal. A great place to stop for ice cream.

You don't even need to get out of your car it's a drive up window and if there's a line they come to your car and take your order ..you can go inside if you like but I'd rather do the drive thru

This is the best place for ice cream on a hot day. The line that wraps around the building and down the street should not deter you. This business knows how to move people in and out. Although a traffic light might help at exit the choice of flavors will keep you coming back.

We visit cousins every year and the visit isn’t complete without one (or two, or three) visits to the Village Scoop! The ice cream is great, servings are generous, and prices are reasonable. Staff have always been friendly and upbeat. The fact that they have a drive thru is an added bonus! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Colchester area!

I haven't been here in years. I tried it again and loved it. I haven't gone because it was a bit pricey, but during the pandemic, not all ice cream spots reopened, so I had to give it a try. To my surprise, I loved it. I tried the hard ice cream this time and it was great! The prices are still a bit pricey, but they gave me some big scoops and that made me feel that this treat was worth it. The day I went, they had the girls come out to take your order from your car, while in line. That seemed to speed up the process, since they usually have a line outside waiting to place an order. They also took the money or credit card you were paying with. I thought what a great idea, almost like the old drive in fast food places that they took your order from your car and you'd eat in your car with your familys. Nice touch! I may not go a much as some that are closer, but definitely won't pass it by like I used to. I give it a two thumbs up.

Use the drive through and be prepared for a short wait in line. The ice cream is delicious so there is always a pretty decent line but the staff works fast and they are very friendly. Keep an eye out for their ice cream cakes.

One of the best Creemees in Burlington. They work very hard here. They are well organized and have a wonderful staff. They had a drive through order setup that worked very well. You can also walk in and get Creemees. They had a wife variety of flavor options and toppings. I would highly recommend, and would go again.

If you find yourself in Colchester Vermont, you just have to stop by for a cone or a sundae. 3.30 for a single scoop cone, in my opinion, can't be beat.

I have never had a bad experience here. Hands down, the best ice cream cake in the entire world. The six inch sounds small, but it feeds our family of four every single night for a week. Fully customizable, pretty, and fun, they are the perfect birthday treat. Add in some phenomenal customer service from friendly folks, and there is no need to go anywhere else for ice cream

Always great! Try a waffle cone with two scoops. Awesome flavors! Soft serve vanilla and chocolate or twist. Don't let the line scare you. It makes the ice cream taste better!

Whenever visiting Vermont there is always "best creemee" opinions, most of which are from tourists who fail to travel just a few miles in for something amazing. This was the best creemee I've ever had in my life. During a visit I went twice, I had to try the other creemee competition and although some are close, Village Scoop is the best. The sizes are huge! I've never seen a creemee size suggested by swirls and it makes a lot of sense!! Thick, cold, flavourful, all amazing! It's no wonder why this drive thru stand always has a line. Loved it!!

I stopped off after my bike ride on the rail bike trail and boy I'm glad I did. Being a creamy connoisseur I can say it was the best creamy I've had in a while. I highly recommend the visit but be prepared for a long line during peak hours but definitely worth it. Can't wait for my next bike ride!

The variety of flavors and amount you get for your buck make it worth going out of your way for this stop. They offer both drive-thru and walk up service. The ice cream and the options are amazing. Love the drive thru feature with a 3 year old. The young girl at the window seemed like she was to busy to help as though as she forgot one of ice creams we ordered, and told me a different price than what she charged my card.

WONDERFUL!! I really wanted my sister-in-law to try a creemee while we were in Vermont (which if you don't know, is soft serve ice cream) they were visiting from Seattle & we were on the last day of our 5-day vacation and had so far not been able to find any that were open. On our 5th or 6th try we came across this place and it was PERFECT. Thankfully it was still open at 8:00 p.m. which is apparently not normal for most of these places (or at least pre Memorial Day anyway) they had regular ice cream and creemees, and best of all they had Vermont maple which is what I wanted her to try! There's nothing like a creemee made with Vermont maple syrup. The people that work there were very very nice, the ice cream was delicious, there's place to sit outside all around on the green, there's plenty of parking, and there's a drive-thru area. HIGHLY recommend!!

I've never had their ice cream before, my Uncle in law told me that this place is the number one ice cream shop in the State of Vermont so I decided to try it out. (I drove to the State of Vermont from California) Hands down they are the best ice cream shop I've tasted in Vermont, and in California to be honest. I'll probably come back another day since you guys are LITERALLY around the corner.

one of the few places that has lived up to its hype since we moved to the area. prices are fair and the portions are HUGE. i always get a medium and forget that maybe i should just order a small next time haha. edit: i didnt realize this place served gifford's ice cream... which is all well and good, but i for some reason thought it was all scratch made ice cream which is a huge bummer. the value is worth it, but when it is summertime, i get snobby with my ic cream stands. we go somewhere else for scratch made ice cream. leaving it 5 stars but really rounding up from 4.5.

Great service. Expect long lines in winter. Small place but many hands making your delicious ice cream fixings. There is a drive up window. They also have a nice outdoor areas with many seats to to sit enjoy your ice cream treat. It’s expensive, but the portions match the price! Def worth a visit. Awesome and original ice cream sundaes. Great for sharing, or a personal indulgence. If it's busy you'll see cars parking on the side of the road, if not it's easy to drive by. Its just a big white house turned drive through only scoop shop. These guys give Ben and Jerry's and Burlington bay a run for their money.

It's always so good and they even have a drive thru !!!! Get there early because they are always a full house but the wait is never long !
