that ooey gooey brownie is one to remember. when it hit my tongue it felt like a chocolate delight. I've got to recommend the sundaes, two thumbs up. place is smalll, but the taste is huge. got to love that sweet cream.

YES!! Yes, yes, yes!! Ultimate ice cream was fantastic. The service was so friendly and the flavors were really unique. I had the chai ice cream which I’d never found before in an ice cream shop! It was delicious and my husband, who does not typically like hard ice cream, couldn’t stop talking about this place all week. So great!! I did see some comments about ice cream melting. It seems they have a super small shop in an unfortunate sun-facing position. The gal working there said it’s an issue sometimes. I hope they can move someday in the future and have better temperatures for the ice cream and the employees!

Was in need of some late night icecream and this place did not disappoint. The person working the counter was very nice. We sat outside on the benches and ate our icecream. It was so tasty!

Excellent flavor-Madagascar Vanilla Bean Customer Service-Excellent-I loved how he packed it in there and not just put scoops in until it filled up. I wish I would have gotten his name but it was on 2/17/23 around 2ish.

Very strange vibes from the worker at this place I felt it immediately. I asked for an ordinary chocolate cone and the person told me that they have dark chocolate Belgium. Fair enough. I look everyone in the eye and as I looked at him, he seemed intimidated and "put off' by my attention?? I was simply waiting for the next thing they were going to say. The tension got strangely thicknas a knife. I asked for the price of a large cone and 'he' stated that " our prices are printed on the board". I looked at it briefly, but said thanks and walked out. I really tried to be polite. As I got into my car, I saw him mouth the word " A**". Very strange encounter. Perhaps they were just having a bad day... Still.

I'm leaving a 5 star review because I love this place, and I've been here many times. Today when I was served my ice cream, the guy had a cut on his finger (which i didnt see until he handed me the ice cream), and it was uncovered. That's pretty gross, considering he was handling my cone. Even if you're not bleeding, cuts should be covered when handling food- That's just common sense.

To me ice cream is preference...so try it. It was a little icy and not as flavorful as I prefer but the quality was good. Service was good as well. Just not my favorite. Vegan and GF options too.

The ice cream was fantastic. They have some fun and funky flavors that are fun for the whole family. I definitely recommend the Kahlua ice cream, it's pretty incredible.

Pretty good ice cream but variable across the flavors. We got salted caramel, vanilla, oreo cream, and sweet cream. While salted caramel and vanilla were very creamy, the sweet cream in particular was almost "icy". The brownie sundae is just a brownie they put in a microwave, not sure if these are baked fresh that day. The one we had was a bit tough.

The staff here are friendly and helpful, and the ice cream is easily the best I’ve ever had!! I’ve been coming here for over a year, and I’ve always been beyond pleased with my experience and the flavor options. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who is thinking about giving it a try!

Sadly ate the ice cream too quickly to even provide a pic!!! really tasty flavors, had the salted caramel with banana pudding and dark chocolate . the salted caramel works so great with other flavors but may be too salty by itself. seems to be a local favorite, and personally one of the better ice creams I had. social distancing means ice cream is currently served out of the window

Best icecream in town. Just stop by and try the flavors. Even their simple vanilla is great. There is little seating, but you will find some outside. The kids running the shop are perky and happy and make great conversation. Be careful when you roll up in the parking lot, it's on a busy road.

I live nextdoor...so thats cool for me lol. Run by honestly young guy, seems he's trying to pay for college with his ice cream shop... Mad respect. Took my family there, saw other families who had dogs my son loved, so I'm saying it is a good environment for family...and yeah the iceceam is the bomb, I just wish they were stocked on ALL the product on the menu. But it was still good with friendly service. Thanks ultimate ice cream

This ice-cream shop has unique flavors mixed with local ingredients. The staff are friendly, and they have Vegan friendly options! They serve ice-cream at events, such as Leaf festival (right on the water.) During fall LEAF I like to visit them and enjoy their delicious Pumpkin pie ice-cream!

Ultimate ice cream has the best ice cream around!!! The texture, flavor, consistency. All of it out performs any other hand scooped/local made ice cream. The staff at both locations are also very friendly. Must try!!!

Fun flavors, great workers, and the boss is super nice! My favorite flavor is chai! From what I understand, it seems they make the cones fresh, but they also have cups, too. They also have coffee and things you can buy to-go or to take home with you, so you can bring local flavors to sleepovers, birthday parties, etc., without having to all make a trip there if needed. Very cool place!

Great ice cream, the fresh strawberry was a bit runny but was still great. My girlfriend got the Cup of Joe flavor and is honestly one of the best coffee flavored ice creams I have ever tasted!

I like to come here for specific flavors because some are definitely better than others. Over all, most of their ice creams are very hard and more icy than creamy. And not all the flavors really delivered the punch and sweetness I look for. But I found that that Oreo and Maple Chai were more impressive and really stood out from the others. Plus, both their brownies and blondies are awesome! They warm them for you, of course. And this makes the chocolate chips gooey and the dough chewy and soft. This is an extra tiny place! It’s not unusual to visit in the evening to find one person working by themselves with a line of four or five people that takes ten to fifteen minutes to get through. Just a heads up.

This is the best ice cream place in Asheville! They rotate flavors, so if you find one you like, get some to take home. Also, they have the best waffle cones I've ever had. And the servers are always super friendly and welcoming!

Went to this little shop on a whim and had the best ice cream, probably, in the entire southern united states. It was perfection on a cone. My girlfriend had a sugar free cone and it was equally as delicious. Local ingredients and personalities make this shop what it is and that is something special.

Awesome ice cream. Love that they benefit a nonprofit through a flavor. Big pet peeve though: the server is also the cashier, while two people were sitting laughing saying "good job" playing with the music while there's a line out of the door.

A neighborhood ice cream parlor. 15 or so flavors of ice cream to choose from at any given time. Interesting flavors are commonly on the menu of which endless free samples are available. I always get a milkshake.
