So we stumbled upon this place by going to Sky Lanes. But Sky Lanes was packed so we didn't go and just said let's stop by here? Why not? This is our last night visiting.....Guy at the counter/window was super cool. Joked around and offered ideas. This is truly a hidden gem in Asheville. I don't know who owns it, operates it, but please keep doing what your doing and keep up the great customer service and delicious food!

This is the best dessert place in town! If you're looking for fantastic flavors, a wide variety, and epic portions, this is the place! They deliver excellence in what they do here: giving their customers the best damn dessert experience around! What makes it even sweeter is that the owners are great human beings and really care about what they do. We go regularly and will definitely be back in the future! Do yourself a favor and check it out!

I thought it was just a regular ice cream shop. Nope. It's an ice cream shop on acid. They start with soft serv and can either mix the ingredients like a blizzard, top it like a sundae, or blend it like a shake. From there, the ingredients and combos go absolutely bonkers. Yes, it's a chunk of change. $8+ for a Cookie Monster (essentially the fever dream of Cooke Monster) but this concoction is so much more than the sum of its parts. It's blue-infused vanilla soft serv in a chocolate syrup coated tall cup mixed with roughly a pound of chocolate chips, and topped with actual cookie crisp (cereal) and a chewy chocolate chip cookie. Child-me was losing her mind. Adult-me took a few bites and went into a diabetic coma. The portion is huge. Either share with a buddy or toss the leftovers in your freezer for a future drop kick to the face. The whole experience was very Asheville. Very excited to go back and give their coffee drinks a try.

Absolutely delicious. Super friendly service, great food. I had the deep fried Oreos and I think it might have been the best thing I've ever had in my life. It was like an Oreo inside of funnel cake. Absolutely stellar. My boyfriend got the Reese's Revenge, and I tried a bite. I have to say, they really nailed the "Reese's" part. It wasn't just a generic chocolate and peanut butter mix, it really lived up to it's name. I'm usually not a huge fan of sweets/desserts, so I honestly wasn't expecting this place to impress me- but they did!! This is probably the first place I've eaten at in at least a year that actually seemed to be worth the price of the food. This place really exceeded expectations, and again, this is coming from someone who isn't a big fan of most sweets to begin with- honestly I only went because my boyfriend wanted to go. But man am I glad he did!

Do yourself a favor and come and get a sundae or shake here. The ice cream itself is delicious and so creamy, and then the toppings take it to another level. Even so, the best part may be the warm, fresh, bubble waffle that lovingly cradles the ice cream. My personal favorite is the Vato Loco. The owner is also super nice. I hope they are around for a long time because this is the place to come for a sweet treat in the area.

My gf and I stopped by and got the El Luchador Shake. Very very tasty! The owner was asking about my decals on the back and made me feel unique as a customer. I believe he was into cars like myself! So incredibly delicious and great customer service! The fried desserts were fluffy and perfect and they have great combinations of toppings. I had a fried gingerbread pop tart topped with vanilla ice cream, fluff, and cookie butter drizzle. Out of this world

Me and my boyfriend were visiting from out of town and our friends took us to this spot. We literally went back 3 more times before our trip was over because the food AND service was amazing!! The CHURROS are the BEST I’ve ever had! And the gentleman running the shop was super friendly every single time! Can’t wait to make our way back to Asheville and visit this place again!

I love this place! They have literally every treat you could possibly imagine. Shakes malts, floats... But then, at checkout, they present you with the pastries! They are absolutely out of this world! Their cro-nut (croissant doughnut) is sooo good!!!

We happened to see this spot when we went to Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack so I decided to look it up and see if it seemed interesting. I'm so glad I did! It wasn't even on Yelp which explains why I didn't find it when looking for dessert. I quickly fixed this. Covid-19: I'm pretty sure you can order ahead and pay online. It's also a drive through though, so you don't even have to go inside. I wanted to try so many things, but we ended up getting two milkshakes: the Miklo and the It's Biscoff Bish. Both of them were delicious. I think I slightly preferred the Biscoff one, but both were very good. These milkshakes are huge. We should have split one! If you're in Asheville looking for some unique desserts, check this place out.

We love trying local ice cream in our travels so when we saw this it seemed to have a fun vibe that we wanted to try. When we arrived, we were disappointed to find it was closed for indoor ordering and it had just started to snow so we didn't want to sit outside. Not to be dissuaded, we went through the drive through and ate it in our car. I don't know what they put in their ice cream but it is a soft serve, custardy, frozen whipped cream amazing yummy concoction unlike any soft serve I've ever had!! Go get you some! We got the traditional Sundae. There are so many options though. The service is prompt and very nice. The lattes were delish too!

Service was quick. The menu has lots of options, but no prices and you don't know what's in the Latte Names. It would be better if this place had a better menu. It would also be helpful to have a top three fan faves, especially for those of us who have never been here before. Prices are a bit expensive for what you order. No-one wears masks or gloves.

Fair warning: this is not a “grab a cup of coffee and sandwich to go” breakfast spot. That’s my fault for not better researching this place before we went, so not something that I’m particularly taking away a star for. They have over 40 different flavors of lattes you can choose from and nine different variations of avocado toast. This is a great leisurely morning spot, because the toppings are so generous you’re going to have to eat them with a fork and knife. The server was very friendly and accommodating to the variation I asked for. There were a few others inside studying and enjoying breakfast with their kids. This is definitely Hey come and stay for a while spot, especially while you explore the items for sale in the shop side of this location. Bring your Instagram people, these are some photo-worthy noms!

Amazing shakes! Boyfriend got the Cookie Monster ( cookies, but with a dash of cinnamon?) and the fruity pebble shake (strawberry and fruity cereal). We loved it and will be back as soon as our pancreases recover.

El Diablo avocado toast: perfect. Memphis Belle bulletproof coffee with cinnamon and maple syrup: perfect. Peanut butter toast with banana, brown sugar, and cinnamon: friend said it was perfect! Environment: 15/10 (beyond amazing) with the warehouse door open on the most comfortable rainy day ever. You're missing out if you haven't been here yet.

Super quick service and very friendly staff! We’re so impressed with everything from the funnel cake, fried oreos, cinnamon bun iced latte, Cookie Monster shake, dipped waffle cone and the kids loved their vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. We don’t have anything like this near us in Florida. So glad we found this cute little place on our trip to these beautiful mountains.

We enjoyed our morning visit to 10th Muse while spending a long weekend in Asheville. The location is slightly off of the beaten path, which was nice because it wasn’t as busy as many of the establishments we visited. The coffee was great, they have a nice selection of avocado toast and the atmosphere was really fun.

There is a large selection of specialty drinks that you can have hot or cold. Tried the Sith iced (a dark chocolate and coconut flavors) and it was delicious. The atmosphere is great- a nice place to sit and chat. Staff were also extremely friendly and genuinely interested in customers having a good experience and enjoying their coffee.

First time eating at this place my son bought me a fudge brownie in a container where you would put hamburger and fries in . OMG the brownie was rich but so good I could probably eat that maybe every six months to a year so good will go back for other treats. A must try

Didn’t even know this place was here just happened to pass by skylanes and saw it and I’m glad we did! We got the deep fried oreos and funnel cake and it was delicious! Reminded me exactly of the fair and you can get it all year round what’s not to like about that!? They also have a huge selection of hot drinks and ice cream options, not to mention fresh made donuts! We will definitely be here again and I’d recommend it for anyone in the area!

I've been meaning to come here for a long while, since it's very near our house. I took my nine year old for a strawberry milkshake and his review is as follows "This milkshake is a masterpiece. I'm serious, it could be in an art museum". It was gigantic, tasty, and beautiful. My almond milk ice chai was also great but honestly I just coveted my kid's milkshake the whole time. This place is the definition of Treat YoSelf.

My wife and I took our girls here for ice cream tonight. This is not your average ice cream and the sundaes are creative and delicious. It is so rich and creamy. We couldn’t make up our minds so we ordered a bit of everything. The serving sizes are huge. My wife and I could have split one and felt satisfied. Next time we will come on an empty stomach and make dessert our dinner instead. It was so good everything was...even my daughter chocolate milkshake. Try a funnel cake with strawberries too. I don’t think you can go wrong with any option here. The owner was great and made you feel instantly like you’ve known him for years. This is officially our new spot on our “cheat” days. The best part is they are opened year round!

Wifi, ample seating/outlets, a chill playlist, and a garage door open to the street for natural light make 10th Muse a fantastic spot for hanging out and working. The owner concocts very impressive latte creations with ingredients like cookie butter and horchata (!!!) and came over to our table to top off our coffee. The staff were quick, and incredibly kind. They were wonderful about covid restrictions and I love the drive thru. The prices are more than fair for what you get as well. I love supporting local and their quality and service far outshines any chain competitors. Their ice cream sundaes are unique and I love how they incorporate cereal into them. Its almost powdered then blended and dusted on the sundae. It makes for almost a whipped ice cream which is delicious and doesn't melt incredibly fast. Its the creamiest ice cream I've had in town.

I have eaten here a few times as I love that there's a drive-thru and I don't have to go inside. I love their bubble waffles. Their ice cream is good. But, I won't be returning since the past 3-4 times I have gone, no one working there wears a mask even though Buncombe County has mandated it. It makes me wonder what other health and safety measures they choose to "cut corners" on. Another thing that kinda bugs me is their overwhelming menu. It's great to offer choices, but I feel like I need an interpreter to figure out what to order. When I ask the guy at the drive-thru window (I'm assuming the owner or manager) he always pushes to add more toppings or other menu items. It's just not a pleasant, happy, safe experience for me. I sure wish The Hop had a drive-thru.

Extreme ice cream and treats here! We ordered a Reese's Revenge Sundae, and it was thoroughly loaded with Reese's PNB cups, crushed Reese's cereal, and PNB sauce. They also have all manner of shakes, funnel cakes, and coffee drinks and super nice staff, too!

Great soft-served ice cream. It's a nice spot to hang out at. There's not a ton of seating inside, but the outside seating is nice. The ice cream was great and everyone in my party was happy with what they got. The staff were excellent and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone that doesn't want to struggle with Tastee-Freeze's tight parking lot.

Yep, pretty much in line with all the other reviews. Been in Asheville for 5 years and hadn't been. Stopped by and was surprised and pleased. Very good ice cream. Good flavors, friendly service ( they asked if it was my first time and explained the menu and how it works) the place doesn't have much seating inside ( 3 tables), grab some to go and enjoy.

The 10th Muse Coffee is a great addition to the Asheville's coffee shop scene! I loved how it wasn't your typical coffee shop, their menu is unlike anything I've seen before. All their drinks had an awesome pop/comic theme. Definitively, worth trying if you're near the Biltmore Village area...

This place deserves a 5/5 for two main reasons - 1. Deep Fried Brownies - they take balls of chocolate chip brownie batter and dip them in funnel cake and deep fry them. What you end up with are, gooey, rich, chocolate-y treats that will change your life. The soft serve that it’s topped with doesn’t taste as flavorful in comparison, but it’s perfect creaminess provides the perfect balance. I also topped mine with crumbled Reese’s which melted from the heat the freshly fried brownies - so amazing! 2. The friendly people. Looking at the menu and sampling the flavors made me crazy excited. The girls at the register seemed to appreciate my awe and were patient while I figured out exactly what I wanted to order. They also check in with us once we were a few bites in to make sure we were happy. There are other great things about this place. Just like all of my favorites, it’s casual. I love the decorations inside, lights - it feels like an old ice cream shop. There are only about five small tables inside, so things could get crowded. But there’s also outdoor seating which will be perfect when we return later this summer. Also, their whole thing is they offer FLAVORS of soft serve. Not just chocolate and vanilla! I think they offer about four at a time and they change weekly. While the peanut butter I tried was nice, the caramel and the brownie batter flavors ended up making it into my sundae. They also for the flavor blast - vanilla soft serve cone with a blast of flavor around the edges. I sampled the cherry and it was super good! Maybe I’d get that one with my fried brownies next time....can’t wait!!!!

Place is inside an old ice cream shop. Coffee and latte was amazing. Doughnuts were cold and mediocre at best. They just opened so maybe they still have some kinks to work out. I'll give them another shot in a few weeks.

Lots of options and good treats. Still no indoor seating, though. They have an open drive through that you can also walk up to order at and a few outdoor uncovered tables. Our large party tried cones, cups, sundae, float and funnel cake and everything was great. large portions and no one actually finished their dessert. Kids were happy. Will return.

Neat place! Coffee is really tasty- I order their Almond milk Mocha Latte and it’s probably the best I’ve had. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it! The place is in the same building as a cute little record shop and from one side it’s kind of hard to find but the location is correct on google maps.

Before frostbite entered my life I thought I hated soft serve, no longer! The ice cream is amazing, they have a really nice selection of toppings, insane portions for the price, and you have to try the coconut dip (which you can get POURED onto your ice cream if you don't want a cone)...I dream about this stuff.

Amazing ice cream flavors and staff is always very nice. Yesterday's flavors were vanilla, chocolate, Cap'n Crunch, mixed berry and waffle cone. The flavorburst flavors (vanilla with a flavor swirl) were something like green apple, dreamcicle, black cherry, coffee and a couple of others. Shakes, sundaes, fried Oreos, funnel cakes and a wide variety of toppings including Nutella are available. Lots of amazing choices! Ice cream flavors change about once a month.

A critical review from a family who’s been to every coffee shop in the surrounding 20 miles! First of all, the atmosphere is good. Nice antique shop/unique wares location. A bit of a mixed bag (Brittish flag, Beer for President, painted jeans, old furniture, skulls, Star Wars & vinyls) but that’s not a bad thing! Secondly, the people running the place are super kind and helpful. They are an asset to the place and may be the reason for repeat business! This alone makes me feel bad about saying anything negative because they were truly great. We only got drip coffees this time, which is sourced from Penny Cup- our favorite, but they were good. Critiques. Way over-priced for some things. Starbucks is cheaper.. Avocado toast for $6 to $12? Cinnamon toast for $3.50? The specialty lattes sound delicious & quality (not just syrups) but also $6. Although recyclable cups are great and all for the environment, if I’m gonna stick around for 20 minutes, I want a real cup. Maybe its just me? Finally, for cream & sugar- your only option (set out) is refined white sugar (sorry, not snooty, just care about my health) and a pitcher of creamer. I like to see options- especially for sweetener. I see in photos that they use to have a cool chalk board menu for their drinks.. now they have this printed paper gimmicky looking one that looks like it belongs on a third grader’s science fair project. Just sayin’ *Did I mention they have a tv going and a collection of board games? Our little ones love that! All in all, I was critical, but the place has a lot going for it and I think you should check it out and decide for yourself. Obviously from the other great reviews and the many people we watched come in & out- people love the place!

So yummy! On vacays I don’t like to visit the same place more than once and we came twice to enjoy their hearty healthy breakfast toast, and of course the coffee is delicious too. The thing that makes it all come together is the service. Christian, the owner, comes around to check on you, and won’t let you walk your trash to the can, he will intercept you. Super great atmosphere to study, hangout with friends, or chill by yourself. I recommend the Christian dogwood and the boojie toast. I liked the sith latte, and espresso with a dollop of froth.

Asheville is pretty rich with good coffee shops, particularly in the Biltmore Village area. So why go to 10th Muse? There are several reasons. First, it's in a really funky space as seen in my photo. There's a ton to look at while you're waiting for your coffee or if you just want to hang out or browse. Second, the owners are outstanding. I had a great chat with them when we came in early on a Sunday and it was really fun. They have a great story as to how they came to open 10th Muse. Third, I love the themes with the flavored lattes. Most of them were Star Wars related when we were there. Fourth, the ingredients are excellent. Mine actually had nutella and cookie butter in it. Not nutella or cookie butter syrup. Not nutella or cookie butter flavoring. It had actual spoonfuls of nutella and cookie butter. Fifth (finally and most important), the drinks are outstanding. Everyone loved what they got. My son doesn't normally like coffee drinks, but he loved his because he loves nutella. I can guarantee that anyone who likes sweet lattes will find something to like here. The next time we're in Asheville I think that we will likely go out of our way to get a drink here. It's that good.

I love going to 10th Muse! They are one of the few places I know that can blend really thick ingredients like nutella and cookie butter! They are a bit hard to find, but I like the "hole in the wall" idea of it, too. It is a nice hangout spot with friends, and I love that some of their drinks are named after Star Wars references! They also have lots of cool artistic items for sale. And the tables to sit at are super cool; some have chalk for doodling, and one is a cool gaming table! Their food is also amazing: light but filling. Definitely check it out!

10th Muse is easily the most creative espresso haven I've ever frequented and I've traveled all over the United States, from coast to coast. An admitted white mocha addict, I'm still working through the menu options for the chocolate mochas alone. (So of course I keep coming back.) And there's only one size, the right size: LARGE. Life is complicated enough. Why should I struggle with the size of my espresso drinks? Keep it simple. Make it large every single time. The only difficult decision to make is which latte to try next. Can I make a recommendation? Well, I keep thinking the Grouchy John is tops (white mocha and Amaretto), but then the next drink I try is arguably just as good. It's a great espresso-inspired argument to have with oneself. So if you see some jerk holding up the line during menu deliberations, it's probably me. (Sorry. I feel bad, but this is important . . ..)
