Danny and his technicians did great work of installing a 4 zone ductless mini-split Heat Pump. The work was completed in the estimated 3 days given before the project began and everything was done neatly. Price was reasonable considering the increase in materials lately. I hope to use their service again when I need to upgrade/zone the rest of the house. If you are looking to install a mini-split system I recommend inquiring with Danny and his team!

Danny’s technicians (the “Primos”) replaced my old furnace and aging, leaking AC condenser with a high efficiency heat pump system which included a new condenser, an air handler and two indoor floor units, all manufactured by Samsung. The two floor units provide additional heating/cooling to two upstairs south-facing bedrooms that are usually warmer than the lower level of the house. Danny came every day to oversee the work done by the technicians. The cost was not cheap, but it was not substantially higher than a quote I received from another contractor that included lower efficiency/lower rated equipment. Note - Material and equipment costs have risen substantially in just the last 4-5 months. All indoor wiring for power and communications and conduit for refrigerant and drainage was wrapped and concealed in plastic. All outdoor wiring and conduits were covered with slim duct. The installation and all modifications made look very clean and professional. Danny is very detail oriented and takes great pride in the quality of the work. I did not find anyone more knowledgeable of the industry or with more experience in dealing and communicating with equipment vendors than Danny. I would highly recommend Danny and Pacific HVAC to anyone considering the purchase and installation of a heat pump system (standard split and/or mini splits).

Danny is a very knowledgeable individual in the HVAC field. He came over my house to give me an estimate and the installation was done 2.5 weeks later. It was supposed to take 3 days, but they ended up finishing in 2. They are the guys to call when you want a ductless mini split system and want it installed the proper way. I had gotten a few estimates for the installation, and even though Danny's price was higher, I was a lot more comfortable in working with him. It is the quality of work you pay for and you definitely do not want to cut corners when installing a ductless unit. I was very happy after the work was done, and I got my money's worth. I recommend Pacific HVAC highly and if you are looking for a ductless mini split, you should only call these guys.

We have a fussy HVAC system (Fujitisu mini-splits) and they were installed poorly by a contractor. Many HVAC companies don't want to work on jobs installed by others, and if they do, are confused and can't cope. NOT DANNY! In deciding how to approach the problem, Danny was thoughtful about designing a solution that was economical, functional and aesthetically pleasing. I have been working with Danny since 2009, when he installed two Fujitsu units in my apartment. One of them has been working very well, the second had a lot of problems, but Danny has always been there. In May I decided to change this unit and Danny responded immediately, offered the installation date for the same week I wrote and spent 7 hours making sure that everything would work properly. The following week I discovered a strange smell coming out from the unit installed in 2009 and Danny was in my place the next day. Excellent service and very good contact with the client. He started the work a week later due to vacation schedules. The job took three days to complete. Could not be more pleased with the service I received from Pacific HVAC Air Conditioner. Danny and his team were on time, worked very quickly, stayed until 10pm so that they were certain everything was tested thoroughly. They cleaned up everything and left our home in mint condition. We had 3 in-wall Daikin Air Conditioning units installed, and a compressor on the roof (a brownstone in Manhattan.) Their prices are extremely competitive, and they always answer calls on or before the second ring! Any communication via email, text, or phone has always been immediate. We had an issue with the pipes that a DIFFERENT company installed years prior, and Danny was at my home in 25 minutes with a crew . In no time at all, our A/C was blasting arctic air once again! I've done my research, collected a lot of bids, and these guys come out WAY ahead in every aspect. Our neighbors in the same building hired them after my sincere referral and they are equally as pleased with the quality of Pacific HVAC's work. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

3 years ago my mini split air conditioning system was in rough shape, the company I had install it for me was nowhere to be found, but Danny of Pacific was able to repair so that it was working almost good as new. I called Danny because I was experiencing major deficiencies in my current system. The actual Fujitzu units were very good; however, there were major issues with the installations of the indoor units as well as the the outdoor unit connections. The units were not properly insulated and leaked down my walls. The outdoor condenser units were missing proper "flare" caps and it was obvious that no unit was ever properly/annually cleaned or charged. Danny came in and performed an assessment of my current system and made recommendations for optimization of said system. He and his team did a systematic evaluation of equipment, plumbing, electrical and reviewed our personal home cooling needs. He was professional, honest and very helpful. He explained the issues in detail and proposed solutions for future care. We also engaged Danny to install another unit in our recently completed additional room. Danny provided a very high quality product at a fair price. We love it and can notice a real difference in the quality of cooling usage. Danny could have told me that he would not work on another person's project; however, he agreed to remedy my problem. For that I am eternally thankful. He came in and fixed everything; he installed better pumps, he reconfigured the electrical, insulated the pipes and he optimized the efficiency of all the units. He even made a few cosmetic changes to the area(s) around the units so they are no longer the eyesores they once were. Post visits, Danny checked in to see if the units were working and performing well. (The original installer did not want to be bothered to maintain the units and did not acknowledge the numerous issues my husband and I identified.) Danny was attentive to our concerns and even addressed a few "dormant" issues. I cannot recommend Pacific HVAC enough; I have the utmost respect for Danny and his team and give them the highest review! I look forward to continuing to utilize Pacific HVAC Air Conditioner and highly recommend them for your AC and heating needs.

Danny and Gavino(sp?) came to my newly purchased home and provided an excellent service. Danny is very knowledgeable of ductless mini splits and when he suggested Mitsubishi because of the ceiling mount unit, I began doing a lot of research on Mitsubishi. I decided to go with a Mitsubishi 45k BTU 5 zone system which looks great. We had a couple of issues installing a ceiling mount unit but Danny and Gavino were able to execute the installation. My advise is to make sure you know what you want and how you want it installed by doing your due diligence on the products you decide to install.

The Michelangelo of HVAC. Danny and his guys just installed a state of the art Daikin VRV multi-unit multi-room system that is nothing short of glorious. I've used Danny before and every time I see the work he does I am blown away by the just how well organized the systems are in terms of not only function but also the installation. Everything is laid out in a clean and efficient manner. Every pipe is wrapped meticulously and when they are done, they sweep and vacuum up and you are left with little to do other than turning on the AC and going to sleep. Genuinely love the guy.

After checking out several brands of ductless air conditioning systems, we decided on Daikin split multis, and got quotes from a couple of local dealers. We went with Danny at Pacific HVAC Air Conditioner because he gave us a good price on an excellent system and because he clearly knew what he was talking about. He recommended two compressors with three units each, and told us the specific sizes that would work best for the areas they would be in. The price he quoted us beat a competitor by $3,000, and the other company turned out not even to be an authorized Daikin dealer (which Danny is). Danny worked with us to set up the systems exactly the way we wanted them, and he and his team did an excellent job of installing everything. A few months after installation, one of the systems had to be partially dismantled for an extended period of time to accomodate some unanticipated work that had to be done on the house. Danny did a great job of taking it down, sealing it all up and then putting it all back together after the work was completed. There were no leaks or electrical problems, although there was an issue that caused the units to spontaneously shut off. He did a great job of troubleshooting and found the problem, and everything is working beautifully. Danny really knows what he's doing, he knows these systems inside out, and he is able to optimize them to give the maximum cooling (or heating) with the minimum energy expenditure. He works hard and makes good on what he promises. Even though our job ended up being quite a lot more work than he anticipated, he never went back on his quoted prices. We are very happy with his work, and recommend him highly.

I have nothing but praise for Danny and his crew. I had been considering a mini-split system for a few years and he met with me and my wife a few times to discuss the possibilities and process. So he gets points for having patience. He is extremely knowledgeable about the various systems and recommended what he thought would be best for our situation. And he spent extra time to make sure that the system was as unobtrusive as possible, both inside and out. There is no doubt that he uses the best materials. The line set covers he used on the exterior of our home blend in beautifully. I have seen many other installations which don’t look nearly as good. I am a member of the church in NYC and I meet in the Manhattan meeting hall. Due to the limited space and life cycle cost analysis, the church decides to use mini split system for the first floor on the main meeting room. The church selected three bidders in May, 2011, and Pacific HVAC Air Conditioner was awarded based on the final cost and qualification. The installation was finished within a week. Mike is very professional on the installation. He also avoided to drill any unnecessary holes on the wall and did a very neat work for the electrical connections. Danny is very responsive to any questions during the installation and operation after the installation. Using Pacific HVAC Air Conditioner is a good chooice and Daikin units work very well on the first floor.

Danny and his Pacific HVAC team were great. The work was done professionally, with clear attention to detail. The team cleaned up every day when they were finished and all came out well. When the team hit a snag, which is bound to happen with an old house like mine, Danny was there to come up with workable solutions. When we needed to bring in an outside trade to complete a portion of the job Danny worked out all the details with them beforehand. I would definately recommend Pacific HVAC to anyone, especially those with older houses who have been told by other companies that the job is too dificult and therefore very expensive. Danny installed a single Fujitsu RLS2 ductless AC for a bedroom in May 2013. The unit worked great from May to July. Unit cooled the room fast and was very quiet. Installation was clean and professional. We loved it. Around July the Unit would no longer blow cool air. I called Danny and a week later he came by found the leak and replaced a tiny valve. I would give five stars except that a valve leaked within 3 months. The fix was simple replacement valve and recharging the refrigerant. I'm hoping that there will be no more issues. I was relieved that Pacific responded and honored the warranty within a timely manner.

Pacific HVAC installed our amazing Daikin system which has been trouble free for 6 years and provided comfortable heat throughout this last brutal Winter in NYC. Recently we couldn't start up the system and Pacific HVAC came over and tested and subsequently fixed the problem - we also had our routine annual cleaning of the compressor coil and checks done to the system. Now it's set for the cooling mode...

Careful electric install, although a bit overpriced. Very good deal overall - they advertise with reduced prices on ebay.
