From beginning to end, Air Max has been an absolute pleasure to work with. After my brand new HVAC system was installed incorrectly by another company, I went back to the original contractor and subsequently 2 other HVAC companies. The original contractor and another one refused to fix the system because they did not want to put in the work, and the other charged me and arm and a leg and still did not resolve my issues. Then came Air Max! Not only did they fix my issues, but they went above and beyond. I was more than happy to hire them to install ductless and a completely separate system for another zone after my initial experience. They took the time to diagnose and properly fix the issues and not just bandaid things. Their technicians are incredible. Every system is different and finding a company that would take the time and knew what they were doing was important to me. They’re neat and clean, and take very good care of your home. From their management staff, to their installation techs, maintenance techs, and office staff, I cannot say enough about this company. They truly know their stuff, and I can say that coming from working in Commercial HVAC. Look no further than Air Max for your Long Island HVAC needs!

AirMax just installed a brand new LENOX heating system and replaced all my ductwork at my home and I am happy with the experience. From Ron, the owner, who initially came over to review my needs and provide estimate and answer all my questions, to the jaunty upbeat Kathi in the office who managed the setup and billing, to Dan and John who were my main install engineers - each was pleasant, polite, respectful and focused. I was impressed with the thoughtfulness and organization of the team. The installation was on time and neat and efficient. I am so relieved. This was a big ticket item and we feel we got treated right and I am glad to have cemented a long term relationship with AIRMAX.

I have been using Airmax for the last 11 years to service my central A/C and they have always been on time, responsive and affordable in all our transactions. Air conditioning went out last night and called this morning and had someone at my door at 10 am this morning and was repaired and running by 10:45 am making a hot 90 degree humid day bearable as it was getting very hot in the house. Highly recommend them for any need you might have and Cathy who been there forever has always been amazing in helping me. Don’t write many reviews but know how difficult it is to find and know someone will do a good job when these things come up. Airmax is def. your place to go. Thanks Cathy and Airmax!

We had a GREAT experience with Airmax when they recently installed our new Lennox XC20 Air conditioner, air handler and smart thermostat. From Ron at the initial appointment, to working with Kathy to schedule, to Patrick and his crew for the install, the entire process was smooth and seamless. Ron visited and learned what we were looking for, and delivered an estimate the same day. We had a few questions, which were answered accurately and promptly. Once we agreed to move forward, Kathy contacted us to schedule the install, which occured two weeks later. Another member of the team, Mike, came and did a waklthrough to scope out what materials would be needed and any other info for the installers. On installation day, the crew was supposed to begin work at 8. They showed up at 7:30, and were working at 8. The install was done professionally and they were very neat, covering all floor surfaces and cleaning up after the work was complete. After teaching us how to use the new system and online thermostat, we were good to go! We've been in our home for 20+ years, and I must say that Airmax was one of the most pleasant and professional companies we've worked with. For us, they did what they said they would do, when they were said they would. Promises made, promises kept. Our experience with Airmax was hassle-free, and we will recommend them to family and friends.

I have used AirMax Long Island for several years and as a widow it is difficult to know if a job is good. BUT I never have to worry about my heating system they come and clean and do a great job. Recently they connected a new washer and dryer on my first floor and the young man Kevin was wonderful. He did the job quickly had everything up and running with no problems for me was pleasant and cleaned up after he was done. I would had have recommended them to both family and friends. Thanks again Kevin for a great job

From the start in scheduling with Kathy, who was the most pleasant, professional and patient person I’ve ever dealt with to Sean and his crew who installed my unit in an orderly, clean and efficient manner, this company made the whole process a breeze. Ron was honest and helpful in assisting me in deciding on which unit was right for my home and their prices were beyond reasonable. They showed up on time, made no noise or mess whatsoever and took great care in removing the old units and installing the new ones. In an industry where HVAC companies are a dime a dozen I am grateful that I choose Airmax due to their competency, professionalism and high grade service. Simply put Airmax Long Island Inc. started with an on-time appointment to discuss a complete rebuild of my central air conditioning system. Everyone associated with this company from the top down was professional, prompt and courteous throughout the entire installation. The installation team was remarkable with their knowledgeable and friendly approach to making sure I understood what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. They cleaned up after themselves each day and made this a extremely pleasant experience. I did shop around and Airmax was very competitive with their price as well. You will not go wrong using Airmax.

Bought a new house recently, and my compressor failed in the middle of a heatwave. The system was very old, so another AC company quoted me for a new compressor and airhandler. It was a bit higher than I expected, so I decided to get a few more quotes. Long story short, Airmax was $1900 cheaper than the next lowest quote for the same quality units, so the decision was a no brainer. I hoped their service matched their reviews, since they were so much cheaper. The guys came bright and early, were clean, courteous and efficient. They took out the old units, taking good care of the walls as they did so, and installed the new air handler into the attic with no issue. They wired up my thermostat (fixing the messed up wiring the previous homeowners apparently), and included a free year of their service contract with the new install. They also replaced a few of the outdated lines up in the attic without charge. When they left, they cleaned up after themselves so well that I wouldn't have known they were there. If I had to find something to nitpick, it would be the wait time, as they couldn't install the system for over a week from the first visit, which was pretty rough in the 90 degree heat. But I knew that going in, I'd imagine they are quite busy this time of year. I couldn't be happier with the service. Its nice to find a trustworthy contractor that doesn't try to exploit you in the middle of a heatwave. Highly recommended.

Today my wife informed me the AC isn't working. I know the busy season is just about here. I had Airmax install my system years ago and when I had an issue they came, found the leak, charged me nothing because they were honest and told me it was a braise they did. I knew I would use them in the future. WELL THE FUTURE WAS TODAY! I called and was greeted by Cathy/Kathy. She was spunky and a pleasure to speak to. She called me back within an hour and told me that she squeezed Nick in to come here. Nick was here, diagnosed the capacitor and replaced it all in an hour. My wife will be happy and so am I. Nick is very professional and I would recommend Airmax Long Island and Nick.

10/27/2020. I have an amazing Dakin ductless a/c -heating system. 6 inside units run by 2 outside. We installed it in 2012. Works fantastic. Never an issue. I clean the filters once a month during use and vacuum the coils afew times a season. This year noticed a huge mildew/mold build up on the inside fan wheel. No way to get to it myself. I am a big DIYer. My installation company is gone. The manufacturer gave me Air Max number. Walter took my call, explained my situation is extremely common and will send a service technician out. He quoted me a price which was very reasonable. Mike showed up on time and was soooo nice. Very meticulous. Following all covid protocols too. Units are sparking clean. And work great. Highly recommended.

Having tragically losing my friend and air conditioner services last year, I had to find another company to repair my unit. I found AirMax since it was local. Naturally, during a heat wave getting service in a timely fashion was an issue, but AirMax managed to get to me within 2 days. They replaced part of the unit and charged a fair price and all was well until a year later when during the tropical storm – no power – and no AC. Well after the power was restored and the AC was running again all was well, until 5 hours later the unit stopped working. Once again, during a heat wave and during storm cleanup we had no AC! I called AirMax, told them my problem and they said they would try to get someone to me within a day or two, since the storm had stressed their repair schedule but they said they would try. Their empathy and courtesy made me feel much better about a bad situation and we resigned ourselves to try to keep cool anyway we could. A few hours later I received a call from AirMax, and Walter said he had a technician in the area and asked if he could stop by. I was astounded and so appreciative. Within 10 minutes Mike came by and after careful analysis in a hot attic determined that it wasn’t the unit that failed, but the electrical panel that had an electrical arc and had ‘fried’ a neutral wire that connected to the AC control unit. He could have told me to call an electrician, since the unit was fine but knowing my predicament and the slim chance I could ever get an electrician during the aftermath of Isaias for days or weeks, he decided to fix it and we were feeling the cool air circulating through the house! I can’t say enough good things about this company, I am just a residential customer but they made me feel like I was the most valuable customer they have! I was treated like family and would recommend without exception AirMax to anyone, residential or business as they treat their customers with the honesty, respect and genuine care we all wish we would receive. And during a pandemic and tropical storm! They are the best and I am so grateful for their exceptional service.

Airmmax was great, as i needed a Central AC replacement- Sales Person Harold was very knowledgeable not just a sales guy.... Then Mike came for a walk through to take measurements etc.. and told me we had to put the Air Handler in a different place, because where it was located would not be serviceable if anything happened and he did not want to put his good name on that. He explained it all and I was in total agreement, he honored all pricing even though it would be a little extra work on his team. They were complete professionals, the team of Kevin, Joe and Anram did a great Clean !!! Job. Thank you guys I can't say enough good things I would highly Recommend Airmax

Had a problem with a new Rheem central ac system. Airmax was very responsive, diagnosed and corrected the problem. Rheem, the manufacturer, is another story. They were tough to get a hold off and seemed reluctant to authorize the necessary parts swap out. It I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't choose Rheem. Better to spend the additional dollars on Trane or Carrier.

They replaced my central air. They said they would begin at 8 am n the door bell rang at 8. A crew came in and in half a day replaced everything and cleaned up we were very happy, from the price to the men and of course the air conditioning system they deserve 5+
