It was an absolute pleasure working with Simpson Air. I scheduled an annual maintenance and the technician, Jess S., called me to ask if it was ok if she arrived ahead of schedule. Once she arrived, she quickly got to work and was very knowledgeable and professional. She outlined exactly what she did (and gently reminded me about the importance of switching out my air filters regularly). She was also proactive and made adjustments to ensure that I would not have any issues moving forward. I was so happy with Jess's service that I requested that she handle all future maintenance. Mike is the best technician. He has a thorough knowledge of our 2 unit system and in meticulous about cleaning and maintaining it. Simpson installed our HVAC in 2004. We had a repair done by someone else about two years later. And essentially called Simpson to fix that. Never looked back. They have always been responsive, and professional. Today we replaced that 18 yo unit. It was still working well but old and tired. Kind of like me. We met with Leonard the sales guy Monday, agreed to the service and set up the appointment. Unlike my normal way of doing things, I never checked with anyone else. Why bother? I might have saved a few hundred dollars with someone else. But I wouldn't get Simpson service. Today Matt and Warren showed up on time, as usual. And got to it. Hotter than Hades outside and lugging and connecting everything outside and in and out all day, working their butts off in the heat. Professional in everything they did, well orchestrated in execution, and putting up with me the whole time. They recognized the initials of the original installer. Apparently he is still there and his installs border on legendary. Heck.. mine was still chugging ... I strongly advise anyone in need of a new unit or of service to existing AC to simply call Simpson. Someone else? Again, why bother? The new unit is incredible. Thanks to Matt, Warren, Leonard, and the whole Simpson team

You buy a warranty but you never know until you need them what the truth is. Well they showed up at the time promised and within an hour had our system back in tip top shape. Nice technician (in truck #48) who was professional and very personable and efficient. I can highly recommend them for a/c work. They honored their word and did great work, even late at night!

My review is a few weeks late but I wanted to advise that this place is a sure shot! Prior to calling them, I had Caldeco come out and they only wanted to sell me a new unit stating that the repair would be about $1,500. When Simpson Air came out, my technician Dave Perez told me the “real” deal with the AC, did the repair, and the cost was literally eleven times less than what the other place quoted me. I’ve had Simpson Air work on my existing systems since I purchased my house in 2012. When my primary system died late in 2020, I had them come out and install a new system along with new ducts. Just the first night alone was like having a whole new house, all the dead zones and poor airflow problems were finally solved. Leonard was great in explaining the different options that made sense for my old 2 story house, and Daniel and Mike were fantastic during the entire install process. I could not recommend them enough!

Today I had my annual AC maintenance service. I have to say that out of the five years with Simpson Air, the service maintenance technician, Sean O'Neil, was hands down great!! He informed me about the process he was going to take while proceeding to do the annual maintenance. He let me know what was happening during the process and kept me informed. I was very impressed today as he told me not to panic and that I would probably smell heat because he was testing the heater part of the system. I do not recall any other agent ever telling me about checking the heater during the maintenance on the air conditioner, which makes perfect sense. In the past five years as a customer of Simpson Air, all the service agents were always professional, respectful, had excellent customer service skills, and answered any questions. Sean, you are great, and thank you for teaching me about what should happen during my annual air conditioning maintenance!

Since our home was built in 2018 with Simpson Air installing the AC, they have successfully maintained our system and continue to provide excellent servicing and customer service to our family. We have a disabled adult son who is ventilator dependent. Simpson Air ALWAYS comes through whether it is during or after business hours. Jaquan came out expeditiously after hours on 04122022 and fixed our AC. He was amazing! Jess came out today and completed our annual maintenance and she was EXTRAordinary. Wish I could give 10-stars; Leonard was professional, very responsive, very easy to work with and listened intently to our circumstances/situation. Company was more than willing to work with us on all matters and were more than flexible. There were also extremely responsive. Up until this point, other company reps seemed to be very "sketchy" and we had been told several different "stories" as to what our issue was with our A/C unit. Due to the great conversation with Leonard, we opted to get our entire A/C unit replaced with a new one. Work was done in a day. Could not ask for a better company and Simpson Air is a great business to have within the community. We are very pleased and happy!

I'm leaving this review for my parents since they aren't very tech savvy. They were having a issue over the weekend and luck enough Jess was able to make it out and get the problem taken care of asap. My parents were so amazed by how courteous and personable she was while she was at their home. I think Simpson Air has just made a customer for life!! I purchased a 13 year old home in Florida last fall and The home still had the original HVAC system (living on borrowed time).I talked to 5 different HVAC companies to explore pricing, timing, availability of the components, financing options, and time to install. Steve from Simpson was very patient as I worked through all the options. I decided to use Simpson based on price, quality of components (Carrier), financing, and Steve’s ability to be persuasive, but not pushy. The installers were 10 star. They installed a completely new system in about 3.5 hours. Everything looks and works perfectly. Steve came out to get the install certified with the county, all in real time (kudos to Pasco County) and I have a scheduled follow up in 10 days to verify that everything is performing to manufacturer’s specification. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

They don't want to con you into purchasing more than you need like some other companies do. We were quoted $11,000 to change out our entire unit. Simpson Air was able to fix it like new for $300. David was our Technician and arrived at scheduled time. He diagnosed that the compressor wasn't working. He did more checking and found out there was a wire burnt and loose causing compressor to not stay on. He found what was not working and checked to see what was causing compressor not to work. He could of said it was the compressor but was very honest and professional on checking everything and replaced the broken wire fixing the AC unit. He represents Simpson Air Very well. Simpson air has serviced my AC several times and they never try to upsell me things I don't need. Steve May from sales came out and realized I didn't need anything but help clearing a drain line and repositioning my AC float switch. He walked me around my AC and suggested a quick DIY fix that will save me money, gave me tips on how to keep my drain line clear and stayed a few minutes to make sure the unit started working properly. All for no additional cost than the service repair call! I will not use any other service than Simpson Air. Quality, professional, reputable folks.

This company is the best. From the time we received an estimate from Leonard to completion of the project by the great team Matt and Christine. it was A+ service. I am big on customer service and these guys are the bomb. They were professional, got the job done quickly, and cleaned up after themselves which is very rare these days. Simpson Air installed our new three-ton air conditioning system this past Wednesday at our home. The manufacturer is Carrier Corp. Firstly, Mr. Simpson sent his technician Robert to look at our old system and make sure it could not be repaired. And since we had a different A/C system installed by them 8 years ago, Mr. Gary Simpson himself extended us the courtesy of coming with his salesman Mr. Leonard Cooperman. Leonard is indeed an expert in recommending the right system to customers. In no time, he prepared the estimate which I accepted right away. The installers, Matt D. and Christine B., are so good in what they do. They took out the old system and installed the new system very efficiently, professionally and seamlessly. They came in time and finished the work in 3-1/2 to 4 hours. They cleaned up spotlessly inside and outside the garage once they were done with the job. I will hesitate very much to give my contract to anyone other than Simpson Air. THEY ARE INDEED THE COOLEST GUYS IN TOWN.

I got 4 quotes in total. One from Home Depot, Lowe’s, and a friend in the business. They all tried to sell me something I didn’t want, because they didn’t offer Carrier. All of their prices were More than Simpson Air expect for the Lennox A/C from Lowe’s. I did my research and the Lennox product was very inferior to everybody else. You get what you pay for JS. Leonard from Simpson Air was very knowledgeable of the products and didn’t beat around the bush with price. He gave me the deal I wanted right away no questions asked. His team was on time and respectful. They removed the old system and cleaned up after themselves properly. I’m very satisfied with how Simpson Air handle the job.

They put a new concrete slab and bolted down the AC unit, changed breakers, and changed all the hoses and installation in the interior AC component. Everything was labeled and paperwork attached to AC interior unit. Everything was clean, organized, and sealed to code. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I truely appreciate the wonderful work they did and the time they took to make it all perfect. I feel their pricing was very fair. Some may say that maybe I could have gotten a better price somewhere else, but I am certain that the quality of work these men did is worth so much more. I definitely recommend them for AC troubles. We had a great experience and are very happy with the result!

I love this company! In my 75 years, I can honestly say that I've never dealt with another like it. It all began with my call to have someone come out about a new air conditioner for my home. I was in no hurry, since my old AC was still working and keeping us quite cool, but it was pushing 40yrs old (the result of a complete annual maintenance) and using the discontinued R22 Freon refrigerant. I decided, rather than wait, I'd start getting quotes on a new Carrier, now. So, I started with Simpson Air, a very highly rated company according to online reviews. I went to their website and completed the form requesting a visit. Right away, Leonard called to set an appointment. He was at my door to the minute of our appointment. My intention was to shop Carrier dealers, but after the time and patience that Leonard showed us, and his special humor and personality, we decided our shopping was over. There was no way that we were going to chance working with someone of less caliber. And were we ever so right! Even after the new installation, Leonard has still been quick to work with us and answer our questions with complete patience. A complete and thoughtful gentleman! The next surprise! Even though we weren't in dire need, as if our AC was out, Leonard scheduled our installation right away. The crew of two, and that's all they needed, too, was at the front door at the very moment of the appointed time to begin the install. They were Christine and Matt, a perfect team. It's hard to recall a more instep, coordinated team of workers. Fast and courteous, yet neither one minded our incessant interruptions and questions, and both took the time to answer us, in detail, making sure that we fully understood what it was that we were getting and how it worked, or why they did certain things the way they were done. In our opinion, they went the extra mile for an old couple. Maybe, you don't know this, but some elderly people can be just a little difficult. They explained, before leaving, that our next visitors would be a technician, to go over the equipment for quality control and to fine tune if needed, and the permit inspector, to make sure everything was by law. Two perfect and seemingly happy workers. First to arrive, right on time wouldn't you know, was Dawson, the technician, who earned the nickname of "Awesome Dawson!" This, not only because he was intently quick, but because he patiently answered every question that my wife asked until she fully understood and was happy, and he did this always, as if it was the whole purpose of his life, and it made him happy. From that day forward, Awesome Dawson became our technician of choice. Next came the permit inspector, timed by Simpson Air to arrive on the same day. He arrived within 5 minutes of Awesom's departure. A good man, he showed me everything that he was looking for and why. Everything was done perfectly, he told me. Then said that he never expected anything less from Simpson Air. They never had permit problems. The next day, I called the office for a personal request, a little silly to me, but not at all to Deb, who took my call. Not only did she take good care of my request, but she stayed with me to answer every question that I had about their services, maintenance, and warranties. What an exceptional person, and she had nothing personal to gain for it! Happy? You bet! On their trucks is the phrase, "The coolest guys in town!" I'm going to add, "With the coolest customers in town!" Conclusion? You can't do better than dealing with these people. They are what makes Simpson Air such a highly rated company!

He also let me know that my unit was not registered, and that meant I only had a 5 year part warranty and not a 10 year. What really impressed us is that we were not under a contract with Simpson. We had a maintenance contract with a different company, but they were booking calls for warranty and service contract customers 2 days out.

Angel came to our home for a regularly, scheduled maintenance visit. He was extremely professional, personable, knowledgeable, and hardworking. After he completed the regular maintenance, we asked him to look at the discoloration on the ceiling around the second-floor vents. In spite of the rainy weather, he went out to his truck a couple of times to get a step stool, ladder, tools, etc., without complaint. Upon inspection, he took pictures to get a second opinion which was in agreement with his assessment. He removed the grates, cleaned and dried the area, and explained to us how to prevent the situation from happening again. Angel was truly exceptional!!! One of my AC units kept randomly shutting off due to an emergency shut off valve activated by our condensation line overflowing. Glad it could correct itself obvi, but even in the Florida winter we needed that thing working--especially because I had family staying in town for Christmas. I called Simpson Air to have someone check it out and they had someone come out that same day! Now a technician was already in the area so that helped, but still. I was expecting it to take a few days. Jess, our friendly technician, was incredibly knowledgeable and knew how to fix the problem immediately. She also checked out our second unit just to be safe and thank goodness she did because turns out we had a small clog in that one that would have required them to come back eventually anyways. She fixed everything and gave me a few tips for keeping things cool/not sticky moving forward as well. She also reminded me that if you pay their annual service charge, they will come out and fix common issues like we had for free and not just during standard business hours. Huge bonus that I didn't know about. Seriously, in a world that just keeps getting hotter, I'm very thankful for AC, but it doesn't do any good if its not working...So thank you Jess and Simpson Air!!

Edit: Mike, the service manager called to rectify this situation. He came out and identified the actual issue, which turns out to be the evaporator coil, at no charge. He went above and beyond to get our unit back into a working state, and even knocked off a bit for the replacement part and installation. Long story short, if you have an issue call Mike first. He is professional, respectful and very responsive. I have edited my review up to four stars, the only reason it's not 5 is do to the initial frustration with the technician. Originals post: Please do yourself a favor and read all of the fine print. Purchased the service with one year guarantee / no hassle maintenance in April for my almost 10 year old system, did the "required" additional repairs to the tune of $420. Called them in June when my upstairs was over 85 degrees, guy comes out says a mess of cables are falling apart and caused the fault - pretty sure if he had actually assessed the entire system instead of just the components known to go bad quickly this would have been identified in the first visit. Charged me another 60 bucks to replace it. Have literally had nothing but issues since I began using this company. My upstairs unit won't cool below 78 during the day and it has been getting as hot as 89 on warm days. I'm not even going to call them again, really do feel like I was screwed out of almost $500.

On the evening of August 4, 2020 I had called Simpson Air regarding my thermostat not working and it was very warm in the house. After speaking with my son who is an experienced Carrier person in Illinois, he had walked me through some things and they were all negative but he concluded that the outside drain was probably plugged and that I needed to call Simpson Air which I did. We noticed our outside unit wasn't working about 7pm. We called the night service and a technician called us back immediately. He was very helpful and after speaking for a few minutes, we decided to wait and call for a regular appointment when the office opened in the morning. I called just after 8 a.m. and even though they were pretty booked for the day, there was a service tech, Mike, at my door by 10 a.m. He had the unit up and working within the hour. Had a problem with my fan turning off and on every few seconds. I replaced the thermostat but, it did the same thing. Now I figured I was looking at a big repair bill. I scheduled an appointment with Simpson Air for 2-4. Ron C.was able to arrive a little after 12 and immediately got to work. After checking everything out he determined I made a mistake wiring my new thermostat. After correcting that he checked on my compressor, and pronounced everything ok. The repair was only a little over $100, when I was worried I could be looking at 10 times that. The service was excellent from a very knowledgeable technician.

Mike Terski visited us today on a maintenance visit, to tune up our A/C system. Not only was he friendly but he was also professional. I have had many technicians from Simpson, come out to check over my system and all were excellent, but Mike was truly the best. Upon his arrival he made sure to introduce himself to everyone including or elderly Labrador retriever Sydney. When he had to move through the house to check on things, he took his shoes of so as not to track anything in. (We had to tell him it was ok to leave them on.😁) The important thing was that Mike, had consideration for us and our home and that goes a long way. He was thorough in his checking of the system including catching a patch to our heating board that caused our system to not have an operational heat pump, that we were unaware of. Steve was 15 minutes early, and was waiting outside in his service van for the appointment time. I convinced Steve he would be greatly appreciated by him starting early. What we didn't realize, was that a special part was needed from Carrier in order for it to be integrated. Not perfect but they work hard to make customers happy. I had issues with the 1st service call. It seemed like everything went wrong when they came to diagnose my problem. I wrote a review detailing the issues and my disappointment and a service manager reached out to me. He apologized on behalf of the company and after we talked I realized some issues may have been caused by miscommunication and misunderstanding, like why the diagnosis went so quickly and why i was incorrectly informed my equipment wasn't covered under warranty. The service manager was patient with me and made sure to stay in touch after i explained i was getting a second opinion. I hired them to replace parts on my air handler because they were able to do the work on the same day. The other company had a 3 day wait. They came early and the tech was respectful, quiet while working, organized and efficient. They also charged me a few bucks less than the other company. It wasn't enough to change my opinion about hiring anyone, but it's good to know they can beat and compete with the competition. It was a bumpy start, but I think their respone to my issues and eagerness to make me happy shows they are not in it solely for the money AND despite the issues we had, ALL of their staff were professional and patient witg me. They're a class act. Would recommend them easily

I am a homeowner in Harbour Isle. A couple of weeks ago four of your employees replaced the air conditioning unit in our observatory. I have been meaning to write since that time but got caught up in everyday life. I hadn't been looking forward to the ordeal or intrusion, but your employees made it seamless from the start. I was caught off guard when they first arrived as I was scrambling to take my daughter to school. I wasn't expecting them on that particular day. I must admit that I may not have been my usual friendly self when I first opened the window. I told them (perhaps a little harshly) that I'd be back after the school run. Nonetheless, I was met with big smiles and cheerful attitudes from your guys. We have lived here since 2013 and have had plenty of tradesmen traipse through our home. Never have any been so respectful or acted with the kindness, and professionalism of your crew. Our observatory is actually my daughter's playroom. I apologized for the mess upon their arrival and they assured me it wasn't an issue. They proceeded to do a stellar job while being careful not to tread on the numerous Barbies and lego. Imagine my surprise, when I discovered that the playroom was actually cleaner after their departure than before our shiny new air conditioning unit was installed?! We have used several air conditioning companies since we moved to Harbour isle but you can be very sure that moving forward, we will be loyal Simpson customers. I called around 10 in the morning to have my A/C fixed. By 1 in the afternoon they called to tell me a serviceman named Mike was on the way. He arrived around 1:30. Service was prompt and efficient. He didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff and even let me use a coupon that took 25 dollars off. I asked him straight forward questions and he answered them as well as helped me understand what was wrong with my unit in lamenz terms. He quickly identified what was wrong and told me what I needed without trying to pressure me into spending money on services I didn't need or replacing the system. I have to share a story with you. It’s a little long because I want you to have the full backstory as well. I’m very blessed that my 87 year old mother is healthy and is still able to live independently. Recently, when her AC went out, she called the number of someone who had come out and serviced the unit when she bought her condo. She called me after they left. She was upset because the service person had told her that the unit could not be fixed, it was too old (it was original to the building in 1999) they don’t make these units anymore and he would have to tear out an entire wall to get the old out and the new one to fit. The service person was going to contact the COA, find out what to do, and his supervisor, and get back to her. In the meantime, she has no AC/Heat. Once she calls me, I say, hold on, why didn’t you tell me this was going on? I have a great company that we use, if anyone can give us a straight answer on this they can. Simpson Air to the rescue! Calvin came out with another tech he was training. They found out what was wrong (the float had been triggered, so the other technician did not look too hard) and fixed it! They also explained to my mom that they did still make units like this, that the unit was original to the construction of the building and that she was on borrowed time with the unit and she agreed. She asked them if she could get an estimate for a new unit and they explained that they would refer this to a salesperson and they would provide her the estimate. Calvin and his tech were polite, clearly explained the problem, the repair and the next steps, and didn’t talk down to my mom. They won my heart for that one! Leonard come out and it happened again, another great experience with Simpson Air! By now she had so much confidence in your company that she didn’t even want me to be there when he came out to give her an estimate. She and I discussed the pros / cons of buying now, verses when it’s even hotter outside and the AC decides to give out and she decided to replace it now. Now the replacement is scheduled and Daniel and his tech come out and they are wonderful! They told her what they were doing every step of the way. It wasn’t an easy fix, when the apartments were converted to condo’s they just built the wall around the units. I cannot say enough good things about this business. I originally went through my home warranty company to try and have my air conditioner fixed. Unfortunately, after 4 companies and about 8 technicians later, I finally decided to bite the bullet and call someone that I SELECTED! I researched this company online and they had very good reviews. When I contacted the office, the lady that answered transferred me to a gentlemen who served as my "THERAPIST" for 20 mins. He never interrupted and never bashed the other companies. (Although I would not have minded). He sent a technician the next day by the name of Brian. HE WAS FANTASTIC! He was willing to stay at my home more than 20 mins! He literally took his time and went through my entire system. He was able to locate the problem, order the part and then return the very next day to repair our TXV valve. This poor guy was at my home from 1130 to almost 1700 completing the repair. This guy is amazing! The office staff was amazing! Unfortunately after he repaired the part, our brand new compressor that was installed a few months prior by another company went bad. This was because the OTHER Company did not replace the TXV valve when then replaced the compressor. We did not want the OTHER Company to come back out to fix the compressor again, since they tried to scam us out of $385.00. We made an executive decision to call Simpson Air back out and give us a quote on a brand new air conditioning. A gentlemen by the name of Paul came out on a Friday afternoon, gave us a quote and had a crew her bright and early Saturday morning to put in a brand new A/C in. That says A LOT.. that fact Paul was feeling our pain and went above and beyond to get that system installed for us on a Saturday speaks VOLUMES in my book!!! The 2 men that arrived on Saturday were very professional! knew exactly what they were doing and had the job done quickly and efficiently! I will NEVER USE anyone else for my A/C service. This company believes in STELLAR customer service!!! Everyone was GREAT!!!!! KUDOS TO .... KIM, Christina (I think that was her name), BRIAN, PAUL and TRAVIS and his helper! Sorry .. did not get his name! EVERYONE WAS AWESOME!!!!
