I just needed to stop and leave a review for 2 employees that went above and beyond with helping me with my new pool. Kurt and Matt were pool electricians who were kind, fast, always on time, great communication, and did extremely high quality work! Any pool install is a nightmare, but these guys really helped it go easier. I would recommend this company to anyone as long as they are here.

Andrew and Austin came by to install actuators on our pool pump, as well as a software interface so that our phones could control our pool temperature. These guys showed up on time, and after MANY visits from other pool professionals, finally was able to finish the job and get everything working as needed. They were through, polite, and had answers to all my questions and concerns, being a new pool owner. Signed up for their yearly service agreement and am thrilled they will be keeping an eye on things from here on out. Parts were a bit pricey, but admittedly, im not familiar with the market. Definitely recommend Hawkins to get the job done correctly, and on the first go-around. Thanks!!!

I've been using Hawkins for the past 14 years for my electrical pool needs. After 14 years, my VSP went out. I contacted them and Dean came to the house to perform a service call. About Hawkins: They are dependable and reasonably priced. They communicate well with customers. They have automated their scheduling system and notify you via email, phone, and text of the service calls. My representative was Dean. 5 things that impressed me about Dean. First, he communicates effectively. He notified me of his arrival and informed me of the initial work he was going to perform. Second, he explained the problem with the pump. Third, he outlined 3 options for me to consider. Fourth, he assessed the situation, executed the solution and put me on the schedule to install a new pump and new filter. Fourth, he took the initiative to streamline the plumbing at the pump to increase water flow and theoretically make the pump more energy efficient. Fifth, upon completion he explained the pool pump, the flow, how to remove cartridge and maintain the filter, and a few days later he texted me to check in on how the pool was working. I am very pleased with Dean and of course with Hawkins.

Hopkins has shown to be a reliable and quality company for each repair. I’ve had. My experience with them on the most recent water temperature sensor repair. It was both quick, on time, and thorough. The technician (Andrew) was very informative and polite. Gave a lot of information about the pool, system itself, as well as maintenance tips to protect the investment. Very highly recommend Hawkins again in the future!

My family, the Governors, purchased a home in 2021 and the sellers recommended Hawkins for our service needs. We've had to call twice since owning the house and the service has been outstanding every time. Last week we had a problem with the HVAC system. The technician who came for the initial evaluation, Jamil was very professional and knowledgeable. He didn't overwhelm us with technical language or pressure us to get a new unit as some places would. He explained (in a way we would understand) what was wrong and gave us several options including system replacement. Based on his explanation we made the informed decision to replace the system. The installation crew, Francisco and Isaiah were just as professional and efficient with their work. The whole experience was great including the call to the office to schedule the visit. If you want quality service, fair prices, and technicians with integrity, you want to call Hawkins. They will not disappoint.

Andrew and Jacob did an amazing job! They represented Hawkins Service Co well as soon as I opened the door. They were professional, knowledgeable of the product, but most importantly took the time to explain, (in terms I could understand), how the pool pump works, how to use it for optimal energy efficiency, how to use the app and many other pointers. They changed out the old pump and installed the new one with great efficiency and were very patient with all my questions. Hawkins had a tech on-site for a pool pump repair a few days after calling. Nick B arrived on-time, quickly diagnosed the problem, already had a replacement pump on his truck, and quickly/professionally installed it. He exceeded expectation by also cleaning the salt cell and filter, replacing a blown fuse in a sub-system, making maintenance recommendations, and identifying/fixing an electrical wiring issue. He was not rushed and answered all questions even though he still had more appointments for the day. Very pleased and can recommend Hawkins' pool services (especially Nick).

Hawkins is one of if not the best company to work with in the Tampa area. As a pool builder they help me get the job done and onto the next phase with ease. Their back office crew is as on point as their field services keeping projects moving! Also their call back are little to none but they complete these in even faster fashion. Hawking's sounds like just an ac company but they do a lot of pool work. I found them to have competitive pricing for aquacal heat pumps compared to even online sellers. I selected aquacal because of the high praise it has from online pool forums. It just happens to also be produced locally in St Petersburg. Hawking's ran a 60a power cable from my garage through my attic to the rear of the house. A week later they brought over the SQ145 heat pump and installed it. Took about 3 hours. They didn't rush the job and all the pipe connections are nice and neat. Highly recommended company, great service.
