I recently had Washington Energy install a new Lennox AC unit for my home. After agreeing to the install, a tech came out to do a final evaluation of the scope of the project and explained to me in detail their game plan for installing the AC unit. Another crew arrived a couple weeks later to conduct a duct pressure test. On the day of the install, the crew arrived on time, the tech went over the game plan once again and did identify some code issues that needed to be addressed during installation. Mainly with regards to my old gas furnace and ventilation issues. The install was done very professionally, and finished the job on the same day. The electrician showed up and hooked up the power and tested the system. Before leaving, the tech showed me how to use the new AC system with my Nest and how to clean the AC coil drainage pipes. They cleaned up the work area inside and out and left the place as it was. The city inspector told me the installers did a good clean job with the install, no correction was required. Overall experience with the install was painless, quick and complete. The attention to detail and knowledge of the installers was impressive. All the people I met from Washington Energy was very professional, courteous and polite. Felt very comfortable working with them again on future projects.

We had a gas fireplace installation. The guy who came out to give a quote was very pleasant. We waited about 6 months to get the funding to do the installation, and they said the price had gone up by $1000. We asked if they would honor the original estimate which they did- called it a managers discount. However, little did we know that they would downgrade what we had chosen so that we what we thought we were getting- a fireplace with a brick background- ended up being a black box. When I called to explain that we had chosen the Supreme and were lead to believe it included the brick interior- we were told that was a markup and would be an additional $450. Also, because they shut our gas line off on the day of installation, our water heater pilot had gone out- leaving us without hot water later that evening and into the next morning. We couldn't get the pilot lit, so they sent a technician out the next day. It just seemed a bit sloppy that they didn't check that before leaving- since after all - they are an energy company. The product itself seems solid- but we are not happy with the misleading quote and lack of attention to detail. When we called about these things- the office person seemed a bit dismissive. In retrospect, I wish we had gone with Sutter Home and Hearth since they seem very transparent and detail oriented- also gas fireplaces is all they do. I have a feeling we would have had better service.

I just had WA Energy Services install a heat pump onto my furnace. They quoted far less than some of their competition and the salesman was a lot more efficient with our time than others we talked to. Everyone I interacted with was extremely professional - the lead installer (Vlad) was really great to work with. Everything was clean and perfectly back to rights when they were done. Installation was completed on time, looks fantastic and works very well. Thanks!

I contacted Washington Energy this week to request maintenance on the ductless heat pump they installed in 2016. They were out this afternoon, thoroughly inspected and cleaned the unit, patiently answered all my questions and best of all, quickly and efficiently got everything working normally again. I remain delighted with Washington Energy, with the durability and cost effectiveness of my heat pump, and with both Cheryl, the Customer Care Coordinator who assisted me and Cris, my HVAC Service Technician. We recently had 24 new windows installed by WA Energy at our home and the quality of the windows and their Sales and Installation Teams were fantastic. They completed the installation in a few days which was faster than we expected. They always showed up when promised and cleaned up every day when finished as if they hadn't done major demo that day. We compared 5 window companies and WA Energy was the most professional in their explanation and pricing. They didn't make us feel like we were dealing with a used car salesperson like a few of the other vendors we heard from. The new windows were manufactured in the time period we were told to expect. We just love our new windows and we feel the finished product looked more impressive than the sample window we were shown. We would recommend WA Energy without hesitation.

I have not owned this house long but when the electricity went out - I was thrilled that the power came back on. The generator worked for over 12 hours. Then the power went off again but the generator did not! I googled Generator repair places. I called one and the guy came out 2xs. Finally told me he did not know how to fix it. Then I called WA Energy Services and Cris Johnson came out. What a wonderful person. Professional, courteous, and very informative. But put all that to the side, he FIXED IT - I signed up for the 2 YR maintenance plan and will continue to ask for Cris. WA Energy Services has done themselves a HUGE favor by hiring Cris. Thank you for all of your help Cris 🙂 I very much appreciate you and WA Energy Services. I left a VM on Saturday and today is Monday-The Generator is all fixed and I am HAPPY

WES just saved my day! Long story short I have been dealing with hot water sputtering issue at my house since June this year. I called the water heater company after a month of observing and trouble shooting myself. When they came out they couldn't find any leaks or issues with the water tank (because it was newly installed January this year so nobody suspect that it could be filled with sediment which created air bubbles during boiling process). I ended up having the water heater company (not WES) guys came out three times + two times paid plumbers / leak detection people to troubleshoot. Eventually the water heater company requested WES to come trouble shoot and replace the hot water tank. The WES technicians arrived were so knowledgeable and polite, they not only honored my request to fix the fittings on top of water heater replacement, they also help diagnosed my shower pressure issue which lead to fixes. Just want to give the company a proper recognition by leaving a 5 star review here, good job and thanks!

Washington Energy Services did an outstanding job installing a complex ducting improvement in our 1946 3-story home. We already have a good furnace and heat pump, but there were no return vents on the upper level, just supply vents. This was causing a severe thermocline in the summer, with an immoveable mushroom cloud of heat in the bedrooms upstairs, even with an attic exhaust fan and lower levels 20 degrees cooler. We did not want the expense of a mini-duct system if we could avoid it, but we were concerned that improving the return problem with new ducting would involve extensive structural revision and remodeling. Gabriel came out and determined that it could be done and provided us with a very reasonable estimate. Terran and Travis arrived on time for the installation, which required a number of creative solutions to minimize the disruption during the project, keeping us well-informed every step of the way. They installed concealed ducting from the ceiling of the garage, through closet interiors, all the way up to the attic and out to three dampered return vents in the bedroom and stairwell ceilings. Gabriel and Cole checked on the project several times and the contract was completed on time and on budget. We were very happy with the outcome and plan to switch to this company for our ongoing HVAC and tankless maintenance needs in the future.

Update: 2022 My maintenance call is not satisfactory. My Heater stopped working within a year and there is a water leak in the garage that through an AC emergency pipe. During the heater install, they fixed the placement and gas outlet which caused the AC piping change and they charged $400 to fix that mistake. The heater is still not fixed for nearly a week, part replacement is taking a lot of time. ============================================= 2021 Customer service team responded positively to my concern and Aaron worked with me on plan to get my Water Heater replaced. I am happy with them making sure that my concerns are addressed. Will recommend working with this business. ======================================================== I got HVAC tune-up done from Washington energy services last week and technician used my Water heater to connect to Hose without my consent and caused damage to Heater in the process. I have 2 hose points for my home both within 100 feet from service area and there is no need to use Water heater for this. In the middle of service I even informed service person that I have Hose point and still he mentioned that he is nearly done and use it for another hour. During his usage there is some glass damage to heater and it started leaking after he left. I got many inconsistent updates on from Washington energy services support call. Totally unprofessional service.

Patrick and Diego removed our old heat pump and installed our new ductless heat pump(s), they were extremely efficient, didn't get in our way or bother us at all, were very kind and polite, a pleasure to have around. If we need any work like this again, we hope they come back! Update: Pat Carr came out to help with some system errors, wonderful job explaining that it was user error causing it, and a detailed rundown of how the system works and how to use it correctly, with the wifi option and smarthome setup we have set up. We couldn't ask for better service than we get from WES.

I've had them install my forced air gas furnace and my tankless water heater. You will pay a bit more, but the quality and the warranty on work was worth it. Easy to work with.

In the past 2 years, they have also done great work replacing our furnace, adding air conditioning, and replacing our hot water heater. My experience has been strange. It was really easy to schedule a free consultation online and I got a reminder phone call and email. The technician called ahead and gave an ETA, arrived on time. All great! My consultation was for the replacement of a 1970s furnace with a heat pump / furnace - the whole appointment took about 15 minutes. Maybe they are just really efficient but it made me worry that whatever quote they provided wouldn’t be tailored in any way to my house. I got my quote emailed to me the next day, as promised, and noticed some inconsistencies with it. I replied to the email with a few follow up questions. I never heard back. Despite not hearing back about my questions, I continue (3 weeks later) to get “following up on my visit” type emails. I realize they are automated but there is no way to opt out and I already replied so I shouldn’t still be on this email journey. I went with another company for my project.

I've never left a google review for anything or anyone before but I have to give a GLOWING review for my Washington Energy Services team especially Terran Miller who lead the installation team. First, it's not easy to spend a bundle on a new heating and cooling system. What we needed to put in to our 100+ year old house was complicated and pricey and I was nervous to say the least. But the final product is so professionally and artfully done (to work around the charming architecture of our house was not easy) I am no longer having second thoughts on the purchase. Even though the units weren't what we were expecting (they were bigger than we thought the would be) they fit the rooms they were installed in. Terran personally measured each wall, coordinated with me on exactly where they would look and work best and walked me through each cut and angle he had to do to make the outside cords and tubing most efficient. He even advised me on how to best paint the parts to make them the least noticeable - I learned a few tricks from him. Scheduling was tough with everyone trying to get cooling in before another scorching summer, and I have to thank Nikki and the installation team for working with us so our original install date could be kept. And everyone was so polite, truly helpful and caring. It might sound trite, but when you are spending thousand of dollars, even though it's not glamorous, it's really nice to be treated with that kind of respect and consideration. The whole team, from sales, inspection, scheduling and billing to electrical and install made us feel important and cared for. When the install was complete Terran walked me through every aspect of the use, care and maintenance or each part - from the individual cooling heads, filters and heat pump. I mean who would have thought that I should watch out for my dogs peeing too close... wouldn't have crossed my mind until it was too late. And when I mentioned that both of us struggle with summer allergies he came up with an air scrubbing solution that I would never have thought of using. I know Terran had a long drive ahead of him at the end of the day, but he stayed the extra time to make sure all the walls were clean, that I understood what I had just purchased and to thank me for my business. I actually was a bit sad when he left, I was so enjoying his company and enthusiasm for his work. Terran's team of Travis and David were as friends, considerate and kind as their lead was, and worked HARD. They came on time and were considerate of the neighbors and my need to work from home (meaning they worked their louder work around my schedule.) Overall I'd give this team 6 stars out of 5 if Google would let me.

Washington Energy Services is by far the most honest, efficient and professional companies around. We had a new hot water heater and a new A/C installed into an existing central heating/duct system and a split on the third floor. Prices beat the competition, a full crew executed on time, and even though a few adjustments were needed from estimate to execution (product placement, not cost) everything was perfect. I also had to call back for a few simple items and they were there in hours not days. We are considering using them for new windows as well, very good company to work with. Great teams.

I contracted with Washington Energy Services to install a split heat pump system in part of my home in Seattle. Overall, they did a great job. The estimator was knowledgeable and let me know about many options without pressuring me into any specific one. Their rates were the best among the contractors that submitted bids. Between making the deposit and starting work, the office staff were pretty responsive and helpful. The crew arrived on the scheduled date and were very professional. They were also flexible in terms of making adjustments to the plans to work around issues found during installation. The things that went wrong were in the initial charging of refrigerant in the heat pump and in not securing the condenser to the building. They had to come back the next day to finish the refrigerant installation, and it wasn't until inspection that I found out that the condenser had to be secured. Overall, I'd recommend them.

Todd and Kevin were very helpful when choosing styles, features and finishes that look great and function well for our needs. We recently had Washington Energy Services out to install six new windows in our 1915 home. Everything about our experience was absolutely professional and about as easy as it could have been. Our sales rep, Nick, was excellent to work with. Very low pressure, informative, and knowledgable. The office staff who handled the scheduling was prompt and professional the entire time, even when I completely missed a voice mail message from them and it took me over a week to notice it. :-) The installers were possibly the most delightful of any installers I’ve ever had in y home. Brian and Matt were respectful and careful of our three indoor cats, cleaned up so well, there was no evidence they’d even been here when they were done (other than the new windows), and were done ahead of schedule. There was one problem with our order. Our bathroom window arrived without the frosted lower pane that was ordered. As soon as Brian and Matt noticed this, they put in a call to the office, and we had a replacement pane ordered within minutes. Two weeks later, another installer whose name I don’t remember, came out and it took him all of five minutes to replace the clear pane with the frosted one. I was very satisfied with the price, the professionalism, and the speed with which Washington Energy services worked, and I’ll definitely be using them again for future work in my home.

We had a great experience with Washington Energy Services. We had to replace our water heater and our furnace at the same tie and worked with Charles Hassa throughout the process and he did an amazing job. From the beginning Charles explained our options in pricing and type and we never felt pressured to do a particular option. There were some glitches with City permitting and Charles explained those and worked through it with us. The installers worked efficiently and got everything done on time and were happy to answer our questions. Even after all the work was done, Charles went above and beyond by making and installing a special compartment to cover the new pipes that now came up from our chimney to make it more aesthetically pleasing. I had a very pleasant experience with WES. From the first visit by Martin, the Home Project Advisor, to the installers Chris and Dustin, the journeyman electrician, Jim and Landria, electrician. Everyone was so pleasant and professional. We had our water heater, furnace and AC replaced at the same time. I was a bit nervous to pursue this project because of the cost and never knowing how things will turn out. I'm so happy that everything worked out well. It took practically all day to complete everything, but when Chris and Dustin finished it was like a weight was off my shoulders. Everything was well installed and they cleaned up after themselves. Electrician, Jim, explained what he needed to do to bring the AC wiring up to code. When he finished the wiring I inspected it and was very pleased with the job. I recently moved into a new home and realized that the ducts were filthy and that the furnace had no record of being serviced since it was installed 4 years ago. I called WES and spoke to a very polite and knowledgeable woman named Kelly who told me she could schedule one appointment to have my ducts cleaned and the furnace tuned up at the same time, which the other two companies I spoke to couldn't do. She was able to set the appointment for the exact date and time frame I was looking for. I received a confirmation email shortly after. The day of my appointment I received a call from the technician saying he would be arriving within a half hour. Pat Carr and his assistant Jacob arrived right on time. They greeted me and before entering my home they put on shoe covers, which I really appreciated. Pat walked me through the whole process of what they needed to do and let me know it would take about 2 hours to complete. Once my filthy ducts were all cleaned they went to work on my furnace which included removing the blower motor and pressure washing it. Pat did an excellent job coaching Jacob every step of the way and they worked very efficiently. After they were done and everything was put back together Jacob went around to my heat registers and my return air vents and checked the temperatures with a heat gun to ensure that everything was running properly. I thought this was a great way to show that the system was running as well as it could. Pat was able to run my payment on the spot and I received my receipt via email within 30 seconds. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone at WES definitely went above and beyond but made it seem like that's just business as usual for them. I'll definitely be recommending them to others. Thanks Washington Energy Services!

Had an Bryant AC unit installed at my residence and had excellent service. The installation went very smoothly. Workmanship was A1. All areas were completely cleaned up. Technicians explained what they were doing when i asked questions. After completion, the technicians explained the operation of the new thermostat and helped me set up the bluetooth feature so I can remotely set temperature. I had a question the next day and a technician was able to help me over the phone. 100% satisfied. Inspections for electrical and mechanical were easy to set up and they came the next day on schedule. WES installed my York furnace several years ago with absolutely no problems.

Washington Energy Services did an amazing job on our difficult water heater install job. Our water heater was installed behind the furnace in a difficult to reach location - the installers had to lift the old water heater up and over the furnace, and then lower the new one down into the same spot. Then they had to lower the metal stand so the heater could fit height-wise, and redo the earthquake straps to match the new stand height. They did an amazing job and even though it took a long time to get it right, they stood by their original estimate. Thank you!

We selected the water heater bid from Washington Energy Services for the following reasons (1) the lady who provided the quote was super responsive and professional. She answered all my questions clearly and timely. The quote was in paper (not texted or verbal) (2) This is a local business since the 50s. They are not a national chain. (3) Their price was reasonable (not the lowest but the 2nd lowest). (4) They can install in the very next day. When the service crew came, they are very professional too, finished installing the new water heater in 2.5 hours. The installation also included earthquake straps, drain pan, etc. I am not an expert, but the area was clean and tidy. Let's see how long this water tank will last.

Washington Energy does boast about being the best in the business. They have great public exposure, warranties, rebates, craftsmen installers, and excellent service department. They are prompt and precise. So with that, we decided to pay a little more than other estimates to get an excellent install for a high efficiency boiler, new water heater, and new windows upstairs. They were able to completely revamp our existing brass water lines and electrical with a high tech boiler that takes in outside air and exhausts to outside without a chimney hookup. Stellar service from the quote to the finished product. We had a few things done - our furnace was already set up for A/C, done by WES back in 2008, so we need to finish out the project finally and actually install the outside condenser, the inside A/C set up, and a new condensate pump. While they were doing this, they discovered a problem with our fuse box (that was original to our 1971 home) and gave us a great deal on a new one that Lorin and Bryce just got done installing. Everyone was professional, respectful of our home and yards, fast, thorough and downright fun to work with. The whole project was not cheap - about $16,000 total, but done right and on our time frame, and at the midway point for bids. We would, and will, absolutely use them again!

I had an electric hot water tank installed. The worker called 30 minutes ahead to let me know they are on there way. Two workers arrived on time . After the initial meet and greet. I left them alone to do the job. When they were done, they gave me a run down on the new tank and how long I could expect to get hot water. They left no mess. Dave and Jarrod were great. I had my AC unit installed by WES about 10 years ago. It was manufactured by York. The unit was hardly used after installed. We decided to turn it on during a hot summer day in 2020. It barely delivered the cold air. After called WES, the technician showed up and conducted the diagnoses. Told me that it is better to install a new unit than repair it. Out of shock, I insisted to repair it than replace with a new unit. He told me that it probably leaked somewhere and needs to conduct a leak tracking test. It will cost me around 420.00 plus the diagnose fee. The parts and labor will be extra after the issues found. I turned down the tracking test and insisted him add extra refrigerant to it. I'll try elsewhere to have issues resolved! After got the call from service manager next day, I think he is very serious and proud about his products and services offered. I may not agree with him in some points. But WES deserved 3 stars instead of one.

I scheduled a maintenance visit with this company for our gas fireplace. They were able to schedule me expediently, within 2 days of my phone call. The gentleman doing the repair called 30 min in advance to make me aware of his arrival. This was within the "arrival window". He was courteous and patiently answered numerous questions I had. Had the inspection completed today and the city of Bellevue said that your team did a great job. I would rate the team a 5. The only suggestion that I would have is to have your trucks serviced for oil leaks. Both trucks leaved a fair amount of oil on my driveway. The team did offer to clean up the oil with Dawn dish detergent and water (which I did on my own instead). Assuming that most customers would not be happy with the oil leaks on their driveways. This is why I rated the overall project a 4.

This was my first experience with Washington Energy Services and they are fantastic! I had a gas line run from the meter to hook up a used gas oven/range in the kitchen and the job was done right away and it cost less than expected. The office people are very friendly and easy to reach and the installers are very professional and nice also. Marcus was especially helpful when the range burners did not light right away and he got those running at no extra charge. They are the best in my opinion!

I'm not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews, especially from people who haven't even had work done. We're completely happy with the work that WES did for us almost 1 year ago. We had a "bigger" job to do, converting the house from electric to gas. We replaced a furnace, ducting, a hot water heater, a stove, and gas piping to the multiple new appliances/locations. It was done over the course of 2 or 3 days. They installed everything pretty quickly and we're happy with the quality. I took 1 star off only because a duct was installed in the bathroom through tile floor. They had to cut the tile and didn't drape the area so there was tile dust everywhere that wasn't cleaned up. They also installed the gas pipe to the new stove in the wrong place (even after I pointed out that it was in the wrong place) which causes the stove to stick out further from the wall than it needs to. Both minor inconveniences. The actual results were right in line with what we wanted and they accomplished pretty much everything we asked. We had one issue right after they finished on like a Sunday night, they had someone come immediately... For free! Covered it under their warranty. We had an outlet they installed for the hot water heater go bad just recently, replaced it for free within 3 days (wasn't an emergency so we just scheduled it that way). They absolutely stand by their service. If you're going a remodel or upgrade, WES was our top choice and we haven't regretted it for a second. You can take that for what it's worth. :)

This is the second time we do windows installation with WES. We had a pretty good experience first time around. The team were nice, but the end result (caulking etc) was not as neat as we expected to be. However, it wasn't that bad. This time around we had to replace our window wall to tempered glass. Ben and the team did such a wonderful job! The new glass windows looks very nice and they did such a neat job. They also made sure their working space were cleaned up after, and not only that, they also put the window's blinds back. I don't think it was part of their job, but they did it for us. Ok, so this is long overdue. Almost 8 years ago we had Washington Energy Services install a new furnace in our house. They did an inspection and gave us several quotes with options. One thing that impressed me was that they described the differences between the different brands and talked about why they use certain ones and not others. They explained they weren't always the cheapest. I have gone cheap before, and it ended up costing a lot more in the long run. We chose one that has space in the bottom for a heat pump upgrade. We plan to do that sometime soon. They showed up on time to do the installation, and did a professional job. The work was completed quickly and efficiently, and we have had ZERO problems in eight years, which is exactly what we want. I would and do recommend Washington Energy Services to anyone looking for a new furnace.

My husband and I have a two-year-old home and didn’t think we needed air conditioning so did not have it installed when we built our home. Our second summer in our home and 80 and 90 degree temps changed our mind! We were a little concerned about how we would go about an install post- construction, but after talking with Washington Energy Services, we fully understood our options and were confident in proceeding. We couldn’t be happier with how things went from start to finish. David, our sales representative, came to our home twice in advance of the install and was very friendly and knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. We were also able to get our installation scheduled promptly at the height of hot summer weather. Our installation technicians, Teo and Erik, were conscientious, courteous and competent. Because our install was post construction, we had to access the attic area to run lines, which required cutting into the drywall. Even though it took them more time, they took extreme care to only cut two holes in areas that were not in visible sections of our home. We were very appreciative that they cared to do the job right rather than fast – even working into the evening hours on a Friday night. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Washington Energy Services to any of our friends.

Disappointing is the best word to describe my overall experience with this company. My furnace went out the first day of the snowstorm in January. I thought it was because it was in the 20s outside and my furnace wouldn't keep up with the extreme cold. However, my Nest kept saying it was in the mid-50s inside my house for days. I finally did a quick Google search furnace people and Washington Energy Services was highly rated and it was just down the street from my house so I thought it would be prompt and quick service. I called and got a same-day house visit to see what is wrong with my furnace. They were able to diagnose the problem and said they would order the part and call me for a follow-up visit to install said product. I got a call the next day saying that the technician didn't acquire all the information needed and another technician had to come out and confirm the part to be replaced. Because of my work schedule and the weekend they had to come out 5 days later. Both technicians were nice and I asked the 2nd technician how long it would take and he couldn't say because he said the part could be sitting on the shelf or they may have to order it. A few days went by and I heard no response so I went ahead and called and they said the part is scheduled to arrive on February 3, about 2 weeks later. I was a bit surprised and the lady on the phone could care less that I had to do without heat for 2 more weeks. February 3 rolled by and so did Feb 4 and Feb 5. I had to leave the country for a 2-week vacation to Australia and New Zealand so I had to have my roommate take care of the furnace while I was gone. He was able to get in touch with them and the part was delayed for another week or so. I came back from overseas and still no heat and still no word from Washington Energy Services. I finally got a call on February 20, 17 days after the first expected delivery date of the product. I WAS WITHOUT HEAT FOR OVER A MONTH. What if I had a newborn in the house? What if I were elderly? What if I was a school or government office or small business? Do you expect someone to live without heat for a whole month in the middle of winter? It would have been nice to know that it could take weeks or months to get my furnace fixed. I've been left with a very sour taste of Washington Energy Services and I would look into another company in the future for my furnace needs. **UPDATE: I received a call the next day from a manager who sincerely apologized for the less than stellar service and didn't want me to leave with a sour taste of Washington Energy Services in my mouth and offered a free maintenance check next year and to look into how they can improve their business practices. I do appreciate them reaching out to me and I am willing to give them another shot.

The experience was great, but there are a couple of issues that prevented me from giving the full 5-star rating, which are detailed below. The windows look awesome and we've already noticed a difference in the sound and vibration we use to experience. We live near SeaTac airport flight path and our old windows (metal framed, original construction) would vibrate. After the installation we've had no rattles and the sound is much more muffled. I am also waiting for the 1st good windstorm as the old windows would whistle as the wind passed through them. Now to the issues - It seemed to take forever to get it all done. I signed the contract Nov 9 and installation was completed Jan 24th. I understand they needed to build the windows and other logistics, but it just seems like a long time. The other issue is that on the last day after the crew had left, I found both of my gates were left open. I have a dog and they need to be better aware of that issue as part of the clean-up efforts. Otherwise, the experience was great from the initial quote to final installation. I highly recommend WES.

I used WES's service 6 months ago to replace my ignitor in heating system with error code 11. Two weeks ago, error code 11 showed up again. I called WES, and technicians were sent quickly within 2 hours. Micah/Brent are very professional and efficient. Turns out it's gas pressure issue, even though they still uninstalled all the parts and did a fantastic maintenance work. And they didn't charge for the service. Would highly recommend WES!

Had air conditioning installed last November, as part of that installation they decided to change out the filter box on the stack because they mangled the existing one, which meant that the stack of filters I had on hand are now worthless. I was told not to worry, as they would automatically be sending me replacement filters quarterly for the next year because they changed the filter box, and if I wanted I could extend the service after that. Well we are now 4 months out from that, I have received nothing, I have sent a half dozen emails requesting status and they can't even reply. I can't really justify rating lower than 3 stars though because the technicians that came out to do the work were stellar, and all my interactions with people have been great, it is just getting them to actually engage that can be a nightmare.

The repair would not have been completed until September, next open appointment, but they fit it into their day. They called 45 minutes before arrival, pre-discussed the need for a ladder for the second story. Pleasant conversation as they worked as a team. I watched and showed where my concern was. They took the elbow apart, checked for any obstruction, tapped, and caulked/glued the seam. I had observed this elbow with water coming out a few weeks ago, but with the dry summer all will be fixed for the fall/winter rains. At the end of summer our furnace would not turn on when the temp dipped below the set 69 degrees. Since it is in the crawl space, we couldn't check it out (we are older). We called WES and were told it would be 3 weeks for service unless we wanted emergency service, which was over $300. We put on sweaters and waited the 3 weeks. Luckily the temp didn't go below 64 degrees. The tech was here about 10 minutes and flipped the switch on the furnace back on, it had turned itself off. Great tech, but not happy we had to wait 3 weeks!! I'm just glad it wasn't winter time.

We have a home in Edmonds (built in 1983) and a rental property in the Green Lake area (1906 craftsman). Washington Energy Services have provided us with 5-star quality work in both places. In the past year we've had energy audits, followed by sealing and insulation improvements in both houses. Yesterday they replaced our furnace and water heater in the Edmonds home and we plan on having new Anderson windows installed in the Craftsman house, and two fireplace inserts put in the Edmonds house. WESCO is good to go! This is our first house so our first heat pump purchase came with a bunch of questions for the sales person who came out and gave an estimate. He had answers for every question we threw at him, so we felt really comfortable allowing the WESCO team to install the heat pump and water heater in our home. Because this is our first house, we were a bit nervous when the crew showed up and started running wires, etc. With that said, if you have questions we recommend getting the crew chief and the home office (Tamara ) on the phone at the same time to ensure everyone is on the same page. This saves you, the crew and the management team a lot of extra work later. The leadership of this company does ABSOLUTELY care about the customer. They believe in protecting the customer and the company, so they take very special care to ensure a healthy balance is in place for everyone involved. Washington Energy came out ( right on time) to do a repair on my heat pump. The tech was able to find the issue, but unable to test the unit as the temp outside was too cold. The auxiliary heat had already taken over and the tech had more service calls to make. He left me his card and said he would come back if needed ( at no cost to me) if the part he replaced didn't fix the issue. Needless to say, everything is working like it should. Ross cleaned our heating ducts with great skill and professional manner. When I told him no air had been coming through one of our registers he took it upon himself to troubleshoot the problem which involved crawling further into a narrowing crawlspace through certain levels of rat remains to discover the duct had become disconnected. Air conditioner was installed in one day as promised but it was a vary long day. Could have been done sooner but lead installer was called away for about 3 hours in mid job. Most work was done very professionally but it seemed the last few details were done sloppily due to it being after 7 pm. The city inspector found this to be true and wrote them up. Items were corrected satisfactorily and bought off by the inspector.

Thank you W.E.S..!! On Friday evening, 01102014 our gas powered water heater sprung a leak. Early Saturday morning I started calling various repair services for assistance. Most places I called I was talking to a machine. But when I called the number for W.E.S. I was greeted with a human response.. thank you Sam (and Dale) for your efforts. And then within a couple of hours we had W.E.S. truck in our driveway. The man with the truck was named Chris. This note is mostly to praise Chris, not only for the quality of the work he provided, but also with his personable attitude and knowledge of the complexities of his job. In fact, it was he who offered an alternate idea for re-installation that we were not aware of.. namely, we wanted to replace our heater with one of the tankless varieties. Indications earlier were that we would have to wait up to a week for that to happen, but Chris offered that we could have a temporary heater installed, and use it until W.E.S. could come back and swap that out for the tankless model. So Chris wrapped things up on Saturday, then came back on Sunday with the temporary heater.. he promptly installed it and insured us we would get contact from W.E.S. regards the purchase and installation of a tankless heater. I love the heating system, it works great. The customer service was not the best. The guys who installed it, on the last day, left with my ladder and level. They did return in a few days later, but I feel like they should have their materials labled so this sort of thing doesn't happen. I'm not sure why they were using my things to begin with. I was also told if I had questions I could call, which I did. I called on Thursday (Dec 28) and have yet to hear back from them (Jan 2). I understand they probably had the holiday off, but I got an e-mail from there both on the 28 and today pertaining to seperate things, which tells me they are in the office. My cousin used this company and raved about them, but I am not sure I would pass their name due to issues with customer service.
