For the past 2 days, we received excellent work from Taylor and Jordan. Both of these employees had an exceptional attitude, were great communicators, showed up on time with a willingness not just to get the job done, but to get it done right. We very much enjoyed having both of these 2 hardworking men at our home. They were professional, honest, experienced and were excellent at what they did. I was so impressed by their hard word and dedication to doing a great job for us. Granted a new AC and Furnace is very expensive, but we strongly feel like this was money well spent and we received great value for our money. Both Jordan and Taylor were an absolute pleasure to have around and they worked extremely hard and are very good having the skills to install a very complex system. I was very impressed with both men and they did an outstanding job. Thanks, guys!

Jared and Matthew were very professional, fast and clean. I appreciate the work they did. Matthew was really patient with me while I downloaded the app and he explained step-by-step how to connect to my furnace so that I can control the temperature with my phone. This business is reliable and honest. Today the crew that were originally coming over changed at the last minute and someone called to let me know different people would arrive and when to expect them. I was glad to be kept in the loop. This has been an all around great experience - which is saying something since I had to buy a new furnace and they are not cheap. But I’m pleased with the service I received and cannot recommend them highly enough.

They worked with me a little in the price, brought it a little closer to my #2 choice, and I went with them. Would highly recommend!!. The system only allows for a 5 star rating but this team deserves at least 10 stars. The installation team: Steve, Dex and Thomas were here for a two day furnace/heat pump installation and were absolutely phenomenal! They were super knowledgeable and explained ever step of the process. Our house has some unique quirks, but nothing phased them. The electrician team: Joe and Zack arrived at just the right time to do all the electrical prep to ensure day two was ready for completion. They were awesome as well and worked late to be sure Steve’s team could be ready for the completion work the next day. Great team, great experience and we highly recommend Greenwood!

Greenwood came in most competitive in all the quotes I requested and was able to quickly schedule installation. Their crew was extremely courteous and professional. The work they did was clean, precise , and they informed me every step of the way if there was any sort of work such as dry wall or drilling holes that seemed out of the norm. We have been long time customers of Greenwood Heating and AC. After they installed a mini-split system in our home 3 years ago, we almost immediately noticed the cooling system temperature rising and not cooling down the rooms. After several attempts to fix nothing seemed to work and we grew increasingly frustrated and it was costly to us on repairs. Greenwood really did their best to find the issue and finally decided to do a deep search and repair on the system. After several more visits they discovered faulty copper tubing from the factory. It was not a common issue and one that extremely difficult to determine. In the end, Greenwood was extremely fair and supportive and was able to do the work under warranty. We are proud to support Greenewood and their service team. Like so many companies they have been short handed under strong demand and dealing supply chain challenges. Through all that, they kept us informed and their field teams were professional and provided us with fantastic service. Our family tips our hat to Greenwood and thanks them for being there for us. We will always buy from Greenwood and have plans expand our exhausting system soon. We highly recommend them and hold them In the highest regard.

We have used Greenwood Heating for 10 to 15 years, first to maintain our old furnace and to install a new one about 4 years ago. Since then we've had routine maintenance and have always been impressed by the professionalism and quality of the work of the technicians. Though they are growing and have grown during the time we've used their services, they continue to provide top quality service and based on conversations with technicians over the years, they seem to treat their employees very well. I don't believe you can go wrong in choosing them for any HVAC needs

They thoroughly inspected our electrical system to ensure that everything is working properly (and found some safety issues, which they addressed). They have also installed new light fixtures, security cameras, and set up our service panel to work for air conditioning (which was also done by Greenwood). We can’t say enough great things about Greenwood, Tyler and Cameron! We’ve been using them for ten years now and plan to continue doing so!

My experience with Greenwood Heating and AC was nothing less than amazing! They gave me a call the day before to confirm my appointment and then the technician arrived right on time the day of. The technician's name was Abi and he was professional, polite, and very educating. He quickly identified the issue as a coolant leak, and was able to fix the leak and replace the coolant that was lost because of it. He even went the extra mile and left the ACs working even better than when I moved in to my new house about a year ago, and taught me so much along the way. I would 100% recommend their services, once they leave you'll have with a big smile on your face and a cool house.

Our heater was not connecting with our thermostat so called Greenwood Heating to see what repairs needed to be done. Ben arrived promptly and went straight to work. We had several bids to replace our furnace, install a heat pump, add central A/C, upgrade to a duo thermostat, install 3rd level exhaust fan & switch. Greenwood gave us the most detailed bid, an additional project manager review before the project began. The work was completed timely in the 2 days as scheduled. The exhaust fan required additional work but Greenwood stuck to the original bid, completing everything, better than expected! All technicians and office support staff were courteous and professional at all times. They were all efficient and clean, wearing shoe coverings when on our light carpet and face masks for COVID precautions. Our project was not the easiest with a 3 level home and our bedrooms on the 3rd level, very hot during the summer. We are very pleased with the end result, especially the central air-conditioning. Thank you Greenwood! Our only regret is that after 29 years in this house, we should have done it sooner! Great work, well done! Greenwood Heating staff - Matthew, Keaton, Chris and Layton - did a wonderful, great, clean and professional job in taking out the old oil furnace and install a new high efficiency Mitsubishi heat pump/air conditioner. This is the first time I used Greenwood's electrician services and I was impressed. The two electricians were on time, came in, gave me a quote which I accepted and went right to work. They replaced a light fixture with a fan in our dining room and I thought the price I was charged was a good value. He shared that knowledge and gave us detailed information on what could be future problems and why. He informed us of the cost of potential future parts replacements on our old furnace. Had an emergency on my tankless water heater. Greenwood technician Ratnesh Prasad came over and not only identified the direct cause that leads to the error code showing on the heater panel but also went beyond that, he literally checked around the house and found the root cause that is specific to the surroundings of the house and shared the findings with me. His analysis makes a lot sense to me. He then went ahead did a thorough fix on the issue - not only cleaned the fan motor but also the holes on the burner chamber. The best part, he charged me with a very reasonable price. And that's not the end of it. He also pointed to me that the heater's exhaust venting system was not installed correctly and suggest me correcting it as well. I mentioned to him that the unit was installed by Greenwood two years back. He then said he will talk to his supervisor to see if Greenwood can fix this for free. Guess what, couple days later, Greenwood scheduled an appointment with me on rectifying the venting system of the heater. It is Ratnesh Prasad again shew up on the appointment day and fixed the venting system that he pointed out to me. I am very impressed with the honesty and the professionalism that Greenwood and particularly Ratnesh Prasad present to me throughout their service. I highly recommend others to try them out!

My ecobee had been out of service for over 3 months. It hasn’t been issue because I don’t have AC and never need heat in the summer. With the cooler nights, I contacted ecobee support for help. They walked me through some troubleshooting steps but eventually suggested I contact an HVAC specialist. I did a google search using key words “ecobee and HVAC” and Greenwood came up as my top hit. When I called to schedule an estimate, they seemed to have a lot of experience with ecobee. I haven’t had my furnace serviced in years so they scheduled a separate service appointment. The technician who arrived today said he could do the service along with the repair so I wouldn’t need a separate appointment. I received a text when Garretth was on his way, along with his photo. He arrived on time and described what he was going to do with an estimate of how long it would take, also volunteering to do the routine service at this visit. He was very good at explaining everything he was doing.

I use this company for regular maintenance. This time I hired them to clean the ducts. Ali Mehdi showed up on time ready to get started. He did a good job of setting up the system, doing the job, and then cleaning up at the end. I really appreciated the arrival of Aaron to help out. The two techs were A+. The downside is directed at Greenwood. The job was underestimated by the previous supervisor that did the estimate. He undercounted supply/return vents so the estimate was lower. I had to pay an extra $500 for the vents not included in the original estimate. And because the job was underestimated it affected the scheduling of the job. This was a 2 man job but they only sent 1 tech. After assessing the job, Ali and I agreed he needed a helper. Once contacted, Aaron was sent out. For the first 3 hours I helped Ali get started until Aaron could finish the job he was on and travel to our house. We used my ladder to access returns about 20 feet off the ground. The original estimator didn't add this information to the bid. Ali and Aaron did a great job considering the poor estimate did not give him the information he needed to adequately supply his truck. A+ to Ali and Aaron. C- to Greenwood.

Had Greenwood install a new boiler (Buderus 132K BTU) and indirect water heater, to replace out 100 year old boiler. Great company and great experience. They ran into a few unexpected hiccups after they disconnected out hot water heater and installed the new one, and STAYED until after 9 PM on a Friday night to make sure that we had hot water! We got three bids, and Greenwood was the lowest. Very happy! Basically unlimited hot water with the indirect setup. More than 3 times more powerful than a standard natural gas water heater!

We scheduled multiple contractors for bids. Though due to the times the wait was long - we were glad to get Greenwood's call a month earlier than originally scheduled due to a next-day cancellation opening up. I had done my homework on AC in general and the main product that every bidder suggested independently. I had a list of questions at the ready. We rec'd a text with photo saying Kyler was on his way; another one indicating he's 10 minutes away. He made the evaluation a *notably pleasant* experience. After looking around at our limited options for AC, he worked out a good solution. He showed us photos and talked about what we could expect. He answered out list of questions. He was able to proffer a bid then & there on his tech device and take our initial payment within minutes - following up by email with a receipt. He also scheduled our install for 2 weeks later. We also were pleased with the install/electrical team. It was obvious that Josh had experience - he worked with efficiency. Russell worked mainly outdoors with Josh. I lost track of them because they worked so quietly - but later in the day when the units were situated, Jason and Cameron arrived to start the electrical portion. They too were quiet and left everything spotless. Worth every $ for the sense of calm everyone along the way brought to the project. Now I want to know - where is summer???

Our furnace went out about three weeks before Christmas, right when Washington was experiencing record cold temps and the supply chain was stalling. We couldn't find anyone that had a equivalent furnace in stock and were looking at more than a month before installation could take place. She let us know that they did have options in stock, but those options did not work within our budget. We were expecting a Two Day install and were astonished when two crews showed up to install Mitsubishi Split type Air-Conditioning units in two rooms with compressor in one day. They had perfectly timed the electrician to run the conduit from our electric box to the new unit. Cameron, showed up when he said he would, was able to diagnose the problem, a blown fuse, fix it and advise as to what had caused the issue. We were charged over 300.00 for them to come out and look at our furnace because it was not blowing out warm air. The technician came out and said that the heat had come back on (it had briefly) so he did a maintenance and checked off something called the flame rod as fine. The heater stopped working again about 30 minutes after he left. I called them again and the front desk said they could come out again but it would cost me another 300.00 to fix what was supposed to be fixed in the first place. Asked for the service manager and he was out and said to leave a message and he would call us back. Waited 3 days and he never called. Had someone else come out and look at it and they immediately took out something called a flame stick that should have been cleaned during maintenance. The person took out the flame stick, saw it was dirty and cleaned and replaced it and the furnace is now working fine. Trying to get hold of the Greenwood service manager twice now and got a message that he would call back. No call. Finally called my credit card company. To be continued but this has been a very stressful experience. I will continue this review after my credit card company disputes this claim and let you know if Greenwood works with us on this or not. My credit card company called them and they agreed to a full refund. I"ll give them more stars just for working with my credit card company. They did the right thing in the end. thanks

I woke up during the 2021 cold snap to a very frigid house and a non-responsive furnace. While that is a terrible way to wake up, luckily they were able to send someone out that day who identified that the condensation line had frozen on the outside of the house and ice was slowing creeping back the line. The technician, Lucas, was incredibly wonderful for all his work. We determined the best temporary fix before they could come out and make a permanent fix. Lucas came out both times, and both times I greatly appreciate how professional, thorough and nice he was. I hope he is recognized and commended how well he does his job.

The motor of our heat pump died suddenly. Greenwood was able to get a tech out to us at a time that was perfect for our schedule. The repair (a blown capacitor) was quick and professional, and the tech even solved what I thought was an entire separate repair (our smart thermostat kept losing power) in just a few minutes. We were so impressed with the service that we signed up for their membership (maintenance plan) for the next two years (something we'd neglected to do when the furnace and heat pump was first installed.) In the same visit, Greenwood cleaned out the heat pump, checked our furnace to make sure it was running properly, and suggested a couple of fixes to improve the safety of our install. I would like to express my sincere thanks for the flawless service from start to finish on my conversion from oil to gas furnace at my house at 17519 25th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155 on Monday and Tuesday of this week. From the beginning of my dealings with Greenwood when Trevor Rieb came out to estimate the job it was a big sigh of relief for me. I had just had a quote from another company for $22K to do the same job which has just been completed by Greenwood for a little over $6K and had abandoned hope of doing the conversion at all. Trevor was friendly, knowledgeable, businesslike and problem-free. I knew right away that there was no need to look further. From then on the service was predictable, punctual and I was kept well informed. Saul Sanchez and Ricardo Alvarez showed up at the appointed time on Monday and got straight to work. They were very careful of my property, communicated well, were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and expert at their jobs. They dismantled the 1947 behemoth of an oil furnace which we had and removed it from the house through narrow doorways and despite its great weight without a single scrape or bump. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated their care. Then they installed the new gas furnace and I would say went above and beyond to make sure that the installation was perfect. They cleaned and cleared up everything, removed all the mess, tested the new unit and showed me its operation and all on time and very efficiently. On installation day, Berto and Juan were on time, and got started right away not before making sure I didn't have any questions. They were professional and considerate of my family's time. The only trip-up of the job was that I did not get the air conditioner I had signed up for. John came out to look into the issue, and as it turns out, the AC equipment was backordered. They made up the difference in price on the spot. My alternative was to wait until October to get the AC equipment, so we took the credit without hesitation. I am very happy with the work Greenwood completed and am excited to see how well the AC and new furnace keep our home comfortable. I am especially curious to see how well the electronic filter performs against pollen season in the spring. And you know you have a good system when the electrical and mechanical inspectors jokingly say they can approve instantly and walk away. I would recommend giving Greenwood a shot at evaluating your home's comfort needs.

We chose Greenwood because they came recommended by a co-worker, and were the happy medium between "local company we want to support" and availability (a few weeks, versus months). They were easy to reach and very happy to address all of my questions over phone and on email. We chose a Trane heat pump and furnace to replace our old heating system, and were given a date about three weeks out. Our install was somewhat difficult and we had to spend a few hours exploring options for placement of the outside unit (our city is quite picky about things). Greenwood did not back down and spent a lot of time trying to make our preferred location work. Eventually we figured out a compromise location and the Greenwood crew did a good job making it work out anyway. The crew stayed late and finished the install on the same day (they'd estimated two). The Greenwood crew was professional, on time, more than happy to explain what was going on, and generally pleasant to have around. They persevered through a crazy set of options until they found something that worked, and once they could proceed and start bending metal the quality of their work was high. (Let's not forget the electricians, who did a very professional job on the power and who showed me some minor issues with our panel during the day). So far, quite happy.

We wanted a mini split system installed in our home, so we began by reaching out to a few companies in the area for quotes. Our experience with Greenwood Heating and Cooling was amazing. We are gearing up to sell our house and had Greenwood out to do a systems inspection, not expecting anything out of the ordinary. What was found was that integral parts of our furnace were damaged and that we were lucky (considering our exhaust venting issues - whole other issue) to not have carbon monoxide poisoning or worse. Our tech Chris was great and was able to get a Greenwood Comfort Advisor out same day to give us options as we were on a very tight timeline to get our house on the market. Enter Kris Roze - How amazing she was! She was very honest, down to earth and all around extremely professional. She got us setup for a total furnace replacement and to repair the venting from our basement up through the roof for 48 hours from our appointment. The crew arrived and was again very professional. What was supposed to be a 2-3 hour job ended up taking the entire day, but their attitude never changed. The venting repair they had to do wasnt going to end up working because our old (1906) chimney didn't allow for a modern chimney liner to fit all the way through. Again, enter Kris Roze. After hearing this news she was back at our house within an hour (!!!) and told us that we'd unfortunately have to go with the more expensive furnace option because it would be able to vent out the side of our house vs the chimney. Greenwood upgraded our furnace purchase to a top of the line model at no additional charge from their original quote - who does that?! Lastly, we also ended up replacing our hot water tank as it now needed to vent out the side of the house (chimney issues again). Greenwood was out the very next day after furnace install to put in the new tank and had it done in 2 hours. Needless to say Greenwood did a fantastic job from start to finish. Funny enough two of my neighbors also had hot water tanks replaced by Greenwood on the very same day as ours. Thank you Greenwood, and especially to Kris Roze, for turning a scary and unexpected situation into one that was easy to understand and fixed almost immediately.

We had Greenwood install a zoned ductless mini-split system for our home this week. All I can say is you get what you pay for. It took us over a year to make the decision to spend nearly $14,000 on this installation. We had other estimates with schemes to save us money like installing one giant heat pump on our top (third) floor and using our forced air unit to circulate the cool air throughout the house. However, we were given a much more realistic scenario by Greenwood. During installation, Mike and his team were simply fantastic. They worked efficiently, and found solutions in a tricky workspace without complaint. The job was completed in a day and a half, and our garage (where they staged equipment) was left cleaner than when they arrived. We absolutely love our Mitsubishi mini-split system. The house is comfortably cool, and most importantly, the humidity is gone. We look forward to experiencing warm Summer days without the stress of figuring out how to cool our house. Josh (and Nick) spent a ton of time up in our cramped attic space and pulled of several miracles up there to get things to work. Project: Replacing oil furnace with heat pump heating & air conditioning system We intended to have this project scheduled for February/March but our old oil furnace started having continual problems so we had to expedite our schedule. We requested bids from 2 companies -- the Greenwood estimator came out within 2 days, fully explained their systems, and had proposals (3 different systems) the same day; company #2 came out within 8 days, with their proposal within 10 days. During this time, our furnace was working fine but "coughing" so we were worried. Chose Greenwood's proposal for a ducted Mitsubishi system -- the installers came 2 days after we accepted the proposal, had the system completely installed in 2 days, including removal of furnace and cleaning up job site. The installers were out of Greenwood's Lynnwood offices and did an amazing job. We are extremely pleased with Greenwood's responsiveness, the Mitsubishi system we selected, and Greenwood's continual communication about all phases of the work -- emails confirming and reminding about appointments, phone calls from technicians on their way, etc. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Mike Calderon came to help us and he was on time and followed all protocols of social distancing. We had issues with how they did the cleanup and install with some messy soldering and shavings left but they did come back and fix the issues (though we did the cleanup). It's a TRANE furnace so a great brand. They had issues with the chimney liner, and could not do it. And with the thermostat but we settled on one that works. But they DID come back and worked hard to get things right. Now it's good and we're happy. I can recommend them with confidence now. UPDATE: Furnace is now making a humming sound.. Called them. They want $315 to even check it out. I bet that cuts down on service calls. I could understand a $120 charge just to CHECK..but based on their logic, why not make it $499? That way they would have way more time NOT servicing the equipment they install. My initial impressions about them now seem more accurate. I wrote a Google Review after a particularly sloppy and unprofessional install.. and they begged me to edit it.. That won't happen again.

My wife and I bought our first house last year and immediately dove into several major projects, with a complete redo (ducts and all) of our HVAC. We were very inexperienced and went with Greenwood largely based on the assurances they gave us that they wouldn't consider the job done until we were satisfied. As we quickly learned, when dealing with a 90+ year old house, nothing ever goes according to plan. The crews that worked on our house were all very polite, communicative, and hard-working, but sometimes things just don't want to go right. In Greenwood's defense, much of that was driven by our own inexperience and the the challenges of the house, but at no point did they stop trying to make sure we were completely happy with the outcome of the project. We are now extremely happy to come home every day to our comfortable and efficient house! Now that we're more experienced with working with residential contractors, my wife and I can say without reservation that Greenwood absolutely stands by their work in a way that is very hard to find.

They didn't get him all the right parts from the supplier, but he got everything and finished the job and did great job cleaning up things. I had them install a new boiler and water heater 9 years ago. at the time I was very happy with the quality of work and service. over the last 9 years I have had them do all the routine maintenance etc on my boiler and water heater. The quality of service has declined over time to the point where I am considering finding another service. The scheduled "arrival windows" are not maintained and you end up waiting around for them all day. In addition I have had billing issues where I was invoiced for work that was not done. When I complained they came up with an excuse for sloppy invoicing. Prices have gotten VERY expensive. All in all the experience with Greenwood has declined to the point where the cost/value is no longer a positive and will be looking for an alternative.

Installation techs came on time and installed new heat pump and air handler. Tough job in crawl space for disassembly old and installation of new air handler, but done expertly. Trane heat pump runs real quiet, highly recommended though pricey. Thermostat needs tech setup for software, researched U-TUBE for temp schedule setup to my liking. Watch out for certain heat pump brands that rattle and compressor groans loudly. TRANE brand runs quietly.

Greenwood Heating & Air replaced our gas furnace with a new heat pump and a new gas furnace. Sharyn was our Comfort Advisor and she did a great job listening to what was important to us and specing the right system. The installation was complicated due to the complexity of the new system, space restrictions of our utility room and the location of the compressor outside. Greenwood coordinated all the electrical work performed by As You Wish Electric so it was done at the same time as the HVAC system install. The system was installed over two days primarily by Sean B. (lead) and his crew. Tony (lead) and Francisco augmented Sean's crew on the second day. They were dedicated professionals, who were friendly, innovative, customer oriented and highly skilled. They solved every challenge with our installation with excellent solutions. The completed installation is great and we are very pleased with the system. Bob, the installer was great. He walked me through all the controls and gave me extra tips on handling two units on one system and the nuances of heating Vs cooling - what to expect in terms of the transition of airflow, and setting the thermostat. Scheduling of the installation and the follow-up walk through were not handled as well, but it was all worked out in the end. From the point of signing the contract on which I was given specific dates for the install, the dates and times were changed for Greenwood's technicians but I was not made aware and had to call the office each time to verify. Even after verifying an 8 am arrival on a Thursday, I found out that Greenwood has a regular meeting every Thursday at 9 so the tech wouldn't be there until later. Luckily the technician from their sister company, As You Wish, arrived at 8 and could provide access to the Greenwood tech so I could go to work as expected. At the time of the initial consult I specifically requested to get booked a week prior in order to accommodate the whirlwind of preparation I was working on for my best friend's wedding the last week of May, but this did not get booked as expected. It all worked out in the end and they had a supervisor contact me to alleviate any concerns, but I would recommend more communication with customers about when the services are actually scheduled - when the client needs to be home to allow access and when they can expect to be able to leave for work on those days.

Even the inspector commented on the quality of the work. The Greenwood team helped us think through a number of issues ahead of install and helped provide smart solutions to small issues that inevitably arise during installs of new plumbing equipment. I’m giving Greenwood a 5/5 despite a few little hiccups. Overall they did a good job with my “oil to gas heat conversion” + gas range install project. Quote/Proposal (5/5): John L was great. He’s super experienced so just walked through for 5-10 minutes and sized to what was needed. Mine was a complex situation with an old house and cramped space - he got it right. And the price was fair, as well. Scheduling (5/5): They had the quickest availability and came on time as scheduled. They send text messages every morning to give a heads-up. My job required an extra day and they fit me in rightaway. Crew and Capability (4/5): The young crew was energetic and cheerful but a tad inexperienced(?). They didn’t put all branches of the piping under pressure which caused a failed first inspection. This required a second trip out and added an extra day to the install - inconvenient for all. Communication (4/5): I got my own permits and there was a little complexity in coordinating various inspectors and crews. A few crew/install dept. calls didn’t get through to me which caused a couple of futile trips/efforts. However their office team including the install manager was great. Post install support (5/5): We had an issue with the equipment operation a week later and they sent a technician out the same day. Very professional and demonstrated care and concern for the issue. All in all, I had a very good experience with Greenwood and I would recommend them.

I had another company come out to repair my furnace. They did a $400 repair, and then told me that it was not the only issue, was still not fixed, and I needed to spend another $1300 to replace a pump (and potentially the entire furnace). At this point I was questioning the company, the repair, and also whether I should just replace the furnace. I called Greenwood heating. They were heavily booked for repairs, but said Durant could come out to give me a price for furnace replacement while I was trying to decide what path to take- repair or replace. Durant came out the next day and honestly told me that the furnace did not need replacing. He then called the office and asked if there was anything they could do to get me on the repair schedule. They called me later that day and squeezed me in. Garry came out to do the repair and he was awesome. He confirmed that the furnace did not need replacing and also told me the pump was fine! He identified the issue quickly and was able to get my heat rolling in for a fraction of the cost quoted by the other company. Garry was honest, knowledgable and totally professional. They earned my trust, and my gratitude for going the extra mile with every step. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Our electric furnace from 1976 stopped making heat two days ago and the temperature was holding at a cool 58* inside. Greenwood was able to send Stephen out within about 4 hours on an emergency call. We originally had them tear out a furnace and AC system then install a relocated new one, plus a tankless hot water heater during a remodel. We are in annual maintenance mode. Greenwood does an excellent job of reminding us when it is needed. It has a human answering the phone and uses texts and email effectively for information and reminders. You receive text notice, a photo, name and some hobby/interests info on your service pro when they are actually on their way during the service window. Adon (Adan) put on booties, observed all prudent Covid-19 protection protocols, worked diligently, explained his results, and gave a recommendation to clear the AC unit of grasses/plants to about 2 feet away for best performance. Payment was made electronically on the spot with an a promptly emailed receipt. Greenwood is not the cheapest. I don't mind paying for quality, complete reliability, and consistent high standards when that is what you actually receive every single time.

They were on time, hard working, answered all our questions and agreed that the heater was not as quite as we had been lead to believe it would be by the sales team. But as far as installation they were first rate gents. Will see what the company can do as far as the 'quietness of the furnace, factor, since that's why we replaced our current one, which was working fine.

Nice visit from Reggie the technician at Greenwood Heating today. He replaced a pressure switch that seemed to have caused the multiple errors in our furnace on Saturday. He went through all of his trouble shooting steps and explained his experience with our furnace model. Great response from Greenwood when the furnace quit on a weekend, but then restarted. They performed the work on a weekday instead of the weekend and saved us money.

Kalen and Brian installed a new mini-split system for us today. I must say they did an outstanding job. They phoned prior to arrival and were on-time (actually early) and were very courteous. Both always checked shoes, etc. before entering the home and were very respectful of our property. Went over in detail how the install was to progress, where everything was going to be placed, and they cleaned up prior to leaving and left all manuals and gave us operating lessons. The job was completed quickly and with no issues. Would use the company again as it is very professionally run, all the way from initial phone inquiry, sales, and now install.

After getting home in the evening to discover that my furnace had been failing or off for most of the day I called Greenwood's after hours line to speak with their on-call technician. Quinten called me back promptly, listened to what diagnostic's I had already performed, and agreed I was probably past my capability to troubleshoot the situation. He was upfront about the additional costs of after hours servicing ($250) and gave me an accurate estimate of how long it would take him to arrive. When he arrived he performed, what appeared to be, a comprehensive diagnostic and discovered my inducer was backed up with water. He cleared the line, but he also continued checking the rest of the components to ensure there were no other secondary issues and cleaned everything except the burner heads. He decided that the hose from the inducer to the drain probably needed replacing, but he didn't a suitable replacement on him. He suggested that I replace it by myself instead of having his company order and replace the part because it would be considerably cheaper for me to do it myself, and he explained how I could do so. After he was finished, and my furnace was working, he walked me through what he had found, outlined what steps I could take to help prevent a similar failure in the future, and answered any remaining questions I had. In short I am rating my experience as five stars for the following reasons: - From my layman's perspective the work done by Greenwood's technician was thorough and executed proficiently. - The technician was able to summarize the work they did in a manner which was both detailed and understandable. - The technician acted in a professional, courteous, and trustworthy manner. - Greenwood provides a limited warranty on their previous work. So even if I doubted that my issue was completely solved I have some peace of mind that any further issues can be resolved without exorbitant charges. For those interested in pricing my total came out to 459 before taxes. - 249 for the after hours call and diagnostics - 210 for the labour to resolve the issue (the technician suggested this is basically just their hourly rate) Greenwood seems to be at or near the top of the market for price, but based on my experience it is well justified by the quality of their service.

Maksym K. was a great installer. Although we were told to allow all day for the installation, he and his partner did the job in 4 hours. They were professional, neat, clean, cleaned up after themselves, and explained basics about using the heater. I suggest that Greenwood Heating and A/C list his name on their roster of installers to make it easy for customers to click on his name for reviews.

After the install was complete John took time to explain and demonstrate how they work including a demo of all modes and maintenance of filters. I ordered 3 Heating/Cooling units from Greenwood Heating and Cooling. Co. Volodymyr and Will came to my home and installed the units. They were on time and very efficient in their installation. Each day they worked the entire day and were pleasant and hardworking.They made sure my house and yard was clean and all materials were put away when they finished. Volodymyr went over how the units worked and tested them when they were finished. I would highly recommend them they do excellent work.

My wife and I had a serious problem with our heating system just before Christmas holidays. 30 degrees outside with no heat inside was very uncomfortable and dangerous to us, so it was important to get the heating system up and running quickly. Stephen D came quickly, diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it and had 100 degree heat coming out the registers and vents quickly. The price was reasonable and the job very well done. Greenwood was outstanding in my opinion. I bought a new Lennox gas furnace. The salesman Rod did a good job of explaining everything to me and not upselling me on stuff I didn't need. And the installer/service pro David James was awesome. Showed up on time, worked hard, didn't take a break not even for lunch, and went above and beyond. When a goofy little item didn't pass inspection they were out immediately to fix it and I had them install two expansion tanks for me on two water heaters, fair price and once again he went above and beyond. They took great care not to get my carpets dirty, and were polite and professional. I highly recommend them and will use them again in addition to servicing my equipment.

Had a great experience working with Alan, Kalen and Carlos at Greenwood Heating & Air. They arrived promptly at 8:00 AM each morning to start the install of our Mitsubishi Ductless Mini Split units, one in the living room and one in the upstairs bedroom. I changed my mind the day of the install because the floor unit was bigger than I expected and Kalen took it all in stride. He notified the office and they sent a different unit the same day to keep the install on track. They also spent the better part of the two day install on a 40 foot ladder to reach the upstairs bedroom. Not ideal, but it was the location I wanted and they got it done. Love my new units and loved working with Greenwood!
